I took my car here for an oil change. The person in charge let me know what choices I had for the service. I was given two options for the type of service that I wanted, either a top off service or a full oil change. Since I was getting close to the mileage of needing a complete oil change I decided to go with the full service just so it would be quite a while before I had to get that done again. There was absolutely no wait and I was able to sit in my car as it was being worked on. The service technician seemed very friendly and efficient. The oil change took very little time and was done even quicker than I thought it would be. Super quick service, and they very nice and informative staff. I called to get an ETA on service, they advised there was no wait and I would be out in 15 minutes if I went right way. I got here and the oil change took no more than 15 minutes. However, being that I am used to going to another shop for my oil changes I was not sure how much it was going to be for an oil change here. This was about $15 more expensive than what I am used to for this job and this did not include a tire rotation change. So, if you are in a pickle and need to get this done ASAP, I would definitely come here, but if you want to go the more economical route I might go another shop. read more

Brought my 1989 Ford F-150 in for an oil change. To my shock and surprise the young girl at the counter tells me they don't perform oil service on cars or trucks made before 1998!!!!. Not sure why the policy is in place but if it's because they don't stock filters for those vehicles then fine change my oil i'll get my own filter at the auto parts store it takes five minutes to put it in. The same Jiffy Lube will not put on new tires and rims but will rotate your existing tires?? That also seems dumb.Anyway wasn't satisfied hope you have better luck. read more

An oil change is one of those activities that you tend not to think much about unless something goes wrong. Having just moved, I've had more than a few things go wrong -- enough to feel obliged to put in a sincerely good word where credit is due. This was quick and easy. More than that, the fellow who helped me was great, personable and professional. I wound up there and back home in under an hour, and I paid less than I'd expected. I should add that the fellow reminded me of a very important point that I'd not thought about, that my engine warranty depends on my using oil recommended by Nissan. Today was my 1st and last time getting service at this Jiffy Lube location. The first problem was when I pulled up to the service bays. Instead of "taking it from here" as all the signs suggested they would, they had me drive in the bay. I asked for a signature service oild change and wiper blade change. Instead of cleaning my drivers side window, they just rolled it down. When I rolled it back up it was still dirty. The service technicians also vacuamed my car mats, but left trash on the passenger side seat instead of throwing it away. The final straw was, when I tried to leave (having to drive the car out of the bay myself) a Jiffy Lube associate in her car and on a cell phone drove the wrong direction through the exit driveway and came very close to hitting my car. I was very shaken up. Of course, they also tried to sell me additional services my car didn't need, but that's typical of all Jiffy Lube locations. read more

STAY AWAY! We got our tires filled during the oil change. I didn't realize until after that my front two tires were over filled and had huge bubbles. They eventually popped not so after long and I was out two tires. So along with the $40 oil change, there was another big expensive. The lines were not partially long and the staff seemed nice enough, but that whole experience turned me off from Jiffy Lube. read more

Repeat customer here. Staff inadvertently caused damage to my vehicle, causing my engine to seize and now refuse to take any ownership and offer any financial support. Mistakes happen, we are all human after all, this is what insurance for negligence or improper work is for. So in short I PAID them for a simple oil change, and in return my vehicle was rendered inoperable. Staff otherwise were very friendly and knowledgeable(hence being a repeat customer), my issue is primarily with the people who sign their checks and their unwillingness to take ownership of a mistake. I had a great experience with this Jiffy Lube. I'll start off by saying I haven't had the best experiences at other Jiffy Lubes but this one is top notch. I had gone here about a month ago directly after having an absolutely horrendous experience at Lube Lab in Quincy directly around the corner from this Jiffy Lube. See my review about them . I explained to the staff at Jiffy Lube what had just happened to me at Lube Lab. They told me they hear horror stories all the time about Lube Lab and assured me my experience with them would be drastically different and it was. They got me out of there in roughly the same time Lube Lab would have with their 10 min promise. The staff was polite, friendly and efficient. What more can you ask for at a place that changes oil?? I definitely recommend this place if you live in Quincy, Braintree or Weymouth. They blow out the competition! read more

No. No, no no, no, no. This Jiffy Lube is terrible! The wait on the weekend is ridiculous. No one gives a shit about what they are doing. Most of the dudes that work their are either in zombie mode or are high, I haven't pinpointed exactly which. They are totally unprofessional, unfriendly, act or talk about inappropriate things while working, and are rude to customers. I've gotten several oil changes here and regretted every single one (why, I don't know). Check points are always missed (rugs not vacuumed, caps put back on wrong, wiper fluid not replaced, etc) and that is not acceptable. Also they are really pushy about add-on services and using the most expensive oil. They are really aggressive about other things your car needs when they are really optional services. I hate this place and will never go back there. read more

Terrible. Went in to get a synthetic oil change on a 2005 Mini Cooper. When I pulled up, I was greeted by an employee. He told me they might not be able to do the oil change if the car was turbo, it's not. He then told me it would be about a 15 minute wait, then a 30 minute service. That didn't bother me since I had no where to be, but when he told me it was going to be $77 dollars, I was shocked. That's a lot of money for an oil change on a tiny car. I asked him if he could look at the rear brake and reverse light on the driver side, but he told me they don't have those bulbs in stock. I waited for about 25 minutes, then another employee called me back to where the car was. He took the information about the car and put it in his computer, then he told me they probably don't have the filter. He had the guy underneath the car check their inventory for the filter, but came back with nothing. The guy proceeded to ask me if I wanted the oil change anyway and to receive a phone call when the oil filter came in. No thanks. He continued saying the oil was pretty dirty, and that it should be changed. Obviously I know this, or I wouldn't have brought it in. The only positive thing is he topped off the windshield washer fluid and DIDN'T charge me for it. I left and took the Mini down the street where I paid $15 less, and was out in 30 minutes total. read more

Good job by the workers here. I went in for an oil change, as well as new windshield wipers....fast quick well done. However, one of the wipers was broken when I went to use them a few days later. A few days after that, I went back to get a replacement (without calling). A young man (Stephen?) was very helpful, efficient, and friendly. Before pulling in I tidied up my car, put my winter gloves in a bag and folded it into the passenger side floor. When done, that bag was opened with one glove out on the floor. Maybe it magically moved? I also noticed that a pencil had "fallen" out of my closed change drawer, and upon opening it learned that all of my change had disappeared. 2 days after the oil change I started getting engine knocking noises while idling, the result of low oil pressure from an improperly installed oil filter. Oil changes should be easy. They will try to up-sell you, and possibly rob you too. Go somewhere else. These guys are complete scumbags. read more

I'm not an idiot. Don't feed me lines. I don't need your $200 worth of additional options, and $40 for an oil change is bullcrap.
