"First come first served." Start with the positive. Clean facility, friendly technicians. Decent wait room (had water and coffee although the water stopped dispensing. You can get a coupon for $13.25 off the Signature Oil Change (usually runs $60 for normal and $75 for synthetic oil). This of course is a bit high, which is the only reason I'm not giving it 3, 4, or 5 stars. They also do a bunch of other stuff (vacuum the inside and wash the outside of the car) for the Signature Oil Change, and do a bunch of checks. They also have tires and other services (like air filter changes). I think you could probably do better at Midas or a dealership if you look out for deals. However, they overcharge for everything. And they push you for all kinds of questionable things (which of course they'll overcharge for). I didn't ask them to check the cabin air filter. They said I needed to get it replaced. Very long wait on the weekend. Had almost no interactions except dropping off, getting pushed for more things I should do, and paying. I can only imagine that if you didn't have a coupon, it would be even more expensive. So it will be the first and last time getting service from Jiffy Lube. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Do not waste your money there! I went here to get a "signature oil change" and they didn't do half of the stuff they advertise. First, they tried to convince me that I needed an additional $90.00 worth of filters ( just because I'm a female does not mean I'm an idiot- I can put the filters, which one can buy at AutoZone and put them on for half the price). Second, the lazy, unprofessional people who work there not only didn't vacuum the floors, but they did not even clean the windows. The "signature oil change" lists a bunch of things they do, but it's all a lie. Furthermore they did not even take the time to remove the sticker from the previous oil change. They simply stuck another sticker on my windshield. What a waste of money! I could have spent $20 on an oil change elsewhere and they would have done the same exact things. Went in for an oil change came out with a oil change tire rotation free brake inspection and my car was running much better than It had before also pointed out in detail what my car was going to need in the near future saving me a lot of time and money. I would highly recommend this shop for any of my friends or family for small repairs oil changes breaks tires anything you need they can do. read more

I have to say, I had nothing but bad experiences at this place...until....last time.. Everybody there was different and the service was fast - they understood how to handle a "fleet vehicle" and I literally was in and out in the space of a call on my cell phone (like 5-10 minutes, I'm not exaggerating). I'm pretty sure that was some kind of Jiffy Lube world record. It was actually so fast, I hope all the old oil all drained out ok of my car. And they actually put some new stuff in. I've repaired roofs and framed/sheetrocked rooms, but I've never changed the oil in my car, so I'm not a real man by some accounts I guess....how long does it take for oil to drain out of a car? 3 stars for past suckitude and reluctant optimism that my engine isn't going to sieze up any day :) read more

This Jiffy Lube is absolutely stellar! They were efficient and honest. I never once felt like I was being "sold" on anything extra, which is honestly the best feeling anyone (particularly a young woman) can have at a car place of any kind. My wipers had been installed backwards, and they installed a heavier, premium blade on my driver's side at no extra charge just to ensure that I wouldn't have any issues going forward. Extremely impressed and will absolutely go out of my way again to have maintenance again. read more

I work in Quincy, so it's very convenient for me to visit this particular Jiffy Lube. They are ALWAYS professional, courteous, and get in me in and out very efficiently. I did go there on 2 previous occasions, and simply asked how long the wait was. If it's over 15-30 minutes, I leave and return at a later date. Its not a big deal, and certainly worth the wait As far as the upselling goes, its their job, its how Jiffy Lube makes their money, and believe it or not, most of the suggestions are in fact needed. I've only had one or two services added (radiator flush and fill and fuel filter changed) but I always get the coupons that alllow me to save money on those services. In the end, I will continue to go to this location, because the staff is friendly, they work as efficiently as they can, and I get my car taken car of at a reasonable price. In reading orevious reviews, I have to imagine the people complaining are the ones that feel the world revolves around them they never make a mistake or forget to do something, and are just utterly perfect. Just got our oil changed in the Braintree Jiffy Lube these guys are awesome. They did The oil chang in 10 minutes flat. They also gave us some other hints about car maintenance on our Prius. They gave us some great traveling advice and places to see in Massachusetts. Overall the customer service is fantastic and They did a really professional job thanks a lot guys. read more

Positively the last time for Jiffy Lube. The technician tried to tell me the oil was not even registering on the dipstick and that the oil in my engine was filthy. I drive a 2010 Chevy Impala and have the oil changed every 4,000 miles-the computer in the car said I had 8% oil life remaining and the car drove fine. He then proceeds to attempt to sell me some "engine cleaning" service for $$-I don't think so, the car has less that 30K miles on it and is meticulously maintained. When I go to pay the bill: $76.74! They performed a synthetic oil change without my authorization-almost failed to give me the $10.00 off as well. I have a call into Jiffy Lube Corporate-used to go there, no more-Valvoline has my business from here on out. read more

I had an oil change done last Saturday and got a new air filter. As soon as I left there I noticed my car sounded loud, but I had somewhere to be so just kept going. The next day I brought it back to Jiffy Lube and told them what was going on. They looked at the car and said they didn't do anything wrong. I disagreed, so I got a second opinion at my usual mechanic, who I should have went to for my oil change in the first place. He was immediately concerned about the amount of oil that was put in, way over filled. So I had him do a new oil change. When he drained the oil, it was thick and black and old. So basically, Jiffy Lube didn't drain the old oil, they just put new oil on top of it! And as for the air filter I paid them for, they never put it in! So I was driving around without an air filter, which is why my car was so loud! Those guys have one job! And it's not brain surgery. I could do my own oil change if I really wanted to. This is the second time they have screwed up an oil change on a car of mine. Several years ago I had an oil change done there, and they forgot to put the oil in it! They drained the old oil out but didn't put new oil in! I was driving to work the next day and my whole car filled with smoke! I immediately turned around and went right back to Jiffy Lube. The guy said I must have a leak. I said I don't have leak, you didn't put oil in it! I should have learned that time that I should never go back there, but I believe in second chances. Well they had their second chance this past Saturday and managed to screw up again. I will never give them a third chance. read more

Customer service is outstanding at this location. Manager leads by example as the rest of the staff go above and beyond. They take the time to explain car repairs but without any pressure. Absolutely no disrespect to the oil change industry or Jiffy Lube, but the manager at this location should be offered a job in the corporate world making a huge salary. Do not go to Jiffy Lube WAY overpriced. Went for an oil change chose the conventional oil and total cost was $57-my mom went to another place in quincy and it was only $35. DO NOT go here so not worth the money!!!! read more

We've been customers for over a year and appreciate the professional attitude toward auto service. They have the maintenance record for my car online at the shop so I can see what's due and what can wait for the next visit. We also appreciate the effort taken to check on maintenance points that might otherwise be overlooked [like the transmission]. But I was in a jam and stopped by here I prepared myself for the bombardment of " you need this, you need that... Your car will explode without this..." But I didn't get that... I brought my car here for an oil change and while I was waiting they came in to tell me I had the wrong cabin air filter in my car. I told them they were the ones that replaced it for me last time so they should replace it with the right one for free, since they had me pay $40 for the wrong one last time. They told me they couldn't do that and they had to charge me for it even though they were the ones who made the mistake. I strongly recommend not bringing your car here for any services, unless you want them to put wrong parts in your car and then charge you to fix it! read more
