I pulled up. Cool beard guy asks about oil change. I say, "hell yeah brother. Let's get 'er done." I sign iPad. He takes keys. I go to del taco. I order number one medium. Food comes out faster than you can say "muy bien". I chow down on my two tacos and does, and sip a succulent Diet Coke. I look out the window past the 2 for $6 taco sign, and lo and behold my 2010 Toyota Prius had gone from oil dirty, to oil fresh. I walk out. I pay and get my Prius back, and drive away to go and smoke copious amounts of substance. God bless jiffy lube, god bless del taco, and god bless capitalism. read more

Admittedly, this is not my favourite oil change facility. It is closest to home and my day was packed with errands. It's not the easiest place to find. If you head west on Topsy, look to the right, immediately behind Del taco. This morning it was Jerry at my service. We talked details, including price and oil type. Then he walked into a locked door. Swear to God. The other Jiffy dudes and I were all set for entertainment, for today. The holiday special coupon knocked off close to $30. They topped off the fluids and inflated the tires. They also sat and answered all my screwball questions. They don't offer the coffee/tea service like other locations, but, they do have clean bathrooms and free t.v. All the employees were helpful and super friendly. With no one waiting, we joked it up for a good 15 minutes after they were finished. I got my oil changed and they put wrong filter on my car, causing a leak. I had my car at the dealership 500 miles before that, no leak. After them a leak. The store manager is rude, won't take responsibility for it. Calling me a liar. Would not give my information to regional manager or Franchisee. I take all of my vehicles here for oil changes, when I've gone with each vehicle, employees make sure you would never notice that your car was worked on or had an oil change in the first place. They're extremely clean and detail oriented! Today I actually witnessed the guy that stands in the pit changing the oil spraying cleaner underneath my vehicle to make sure it was cleaned up well. They are very thorough at checking everything to make sure all your fluids are full, your tires are the right pressure, and that your air filters are in good service. I have expensive vehicles and not that expensive. They treat each vehicle exactly the same with exemplary service. I do purchase my oil and filters ahead of time and bring them with me, The pricing for the service, getting rid of my own oil as well as not having to deal with the mess is well worth it. read more

I stopped by at 1000 on a Sunday, 3 October to get an oil change. I was met in the parking lot by an employee that informed it was going to take 90 minutes to get my oil changed despite only one other vehicle lined up in front of my vehicle. I have a Ram 1500 that requires synthetic oil and the employee informed me they were also out of the type of synthetic oil due to a nation wide shortage, that I have been unable to corroborate. My overall customer satisfaction was low. It felt like the employee did not wanted my service and was trying to discourage customers from seeking their services. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. I would give less than one star if it was available. I have never been treated like this from a business establishment. Kenny (store manager no less), hung up on me! My son brought his car in for service and asked if there were specials (he was told no "in store" specials. I ask the same question every time I go to the Gardnerville store, and they always help to find the online specials or email specials. So I went back to pick up his car and showed Kenny the current coupon, the Nevada Signature Service Oil Change. He said that was the wrong service, I had gotten the "Value Service", so no discount. Full price would be charged. I am angry that the best deal was not presented to us. I am FURIOUS that when I called back to let them know I wasn't happy and didn't think I could come back to their store, the store manager hung up on me. Ridiculous. This location is not that different than any other Jiffy lube. They all try and upsell things you do not need. I had the dealer replace my air filter and cabin filter in my vehicle 3 months before my visit to Jiffy lube. I was told I needed a new air and cabin filter. I told them that and they accused my dealer of not replacing them. Unfortunately for them I looked at my air filter after the dealer replaced it and it was new. I am sure they also replaced the cabin filter I didnt look at that. That's how Jiffy lube makes money on all the up sales of what you don't need. I suggest if you go to Jiffy lube change your own air filters when they need it. read more

Let see....they go through the check list saying everything they had done and I find two of the items after I left that they didn't do. Makes you wonder if they really did change the oil! Also they said we needed a new $34 engine filter when it had gravel in it ....did they really change that?! I have no confidence that they even screwed on the oil filter right. Came back to ask them to vacuum out like they said they did and Kyle said it would be a long wait. Can't trust Kyle, Joshua H, Bradley or Kenneth m. I would give zero stars if possible. Pulled up to this location for a simple oil change and the guy pointed for me to pull in to the center garage. As I was doing that another man working there came running up the stairs screaming at me for having listened to the other guys instructions. He was super rude and being very nasty about the circumstances. I then said "sorry, he told me to pull the car in". His response was "well I didn't tell you to pull in!?" (Obviously, you weren't even there) then he claimed they didn't change oil for my car model even though that's absolutely not true. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Got an oil change here today. They told me my battery was bad. I got it checked out at an Auto Zone and was told it was fine. They said they topped off my windshield wiper fluid. I checked it after I left and it was not full. read more

My wife went in for oil change and tire rotation. Left with no tire rotation and an up sale on rear diff fluid on a vehicle that only has 25k miles and owner manual doesn't recommend an inspection until at least 30k. Will not be returning Watch out for these guys. read more

I was delighted when the attendant showed us that all the caps were tight and went over what they had done. They found a transmission leak and rec a local place to have work done. Visited for an oil change. The gentleman at front desk was professional and welcoming (and the mechanics seemed so as well); Went over what Jeep recommended for certain mile intervals but wasn't overly pushy, I assured him I just needed an oil change. Only complaints are that the service included vacuuming, which was marked as completed but definitely not done, and second was price, an extra quart of oil and going synthetic isn't usually cheap, but $95 after coupon is a little much. I've paid less for quicker service, but that being said I was in and out in about 30minutes and the lobby area is nice and clean. read more

Quick, most courteous, acceptable prices: oil change and lube for my SUV last week. Just (if not better than) a burger-drive through, the entire staff was Johnny-on-the-spot to ask brief questions, service needs, quote prices and then (within 15 minutes) do the oil and filter changes, check tire pressures, wash windows and vacumn (sorry, spelling). I have been to other Jiffy Lube locations in Reno and farther north to WA state: this location provided me with a most-proper maintenance matter. I trust you will be equally treated! read more

I've always had positive experiences at Jiffy Lube. In this case, I didn't take my car in for an oil change because the girl on the phone was rude. Acted like I was stupid when I didn't understand the different types of oils she was talking about. I have a 2017 Honda Civic and wanted pricing on oil changes. Im sorry I don't know what kind of blend my car takes? Just give me the damn prices and be nice about it. Brought our new car in with a windshield crack and they gave us a quote but it was just a chip so they didn't need to do much with it and it wasn't repairable so they sealed it a little and sent us on our way. Would recommend this Jiffy lube as they don't try to up sell a bunch of crap or try to get you to do expensive services like other ones do. Service is good but don't be surprised if you lose some parts. We took in 2 cars for oil changes and it was quick and easy but upon leaving I found they lost the screw to the skid plate on my car where you get to the oil pan. Not only that but when check fluids on my be a car they lost the top to his coolant. When I went back to ask them about the skid plate all they did was zip tie it up. Not worth going to if they're that careless with the small things. read more

I had an oil change July 24 th. Ive been here twice since then to stop an oil drop that I did not have before my oil change. Staff are courteous yet the problem remains. This time a leaky seal was found, the staff told me should've been replaced last time. An apology, a remedy, they double checked their work to make sure it was correct. I've been having my oil changed here the last few times and had no trouble, but two days ago I came in for the Spring change and noticed the guy was a little off. Usually someone comes out to greet me when I pull up but this time no one seemed to be around. Eventually he came out of the shop area to get me checked in. It was a slow day so the oil change went quickly and it was soon time to settle up and hear the recommendations for other services they would like to perform on my vehicle. The guy showed me the air filter, which was dirty, and asked if I wanted to have them install a new one. I told him my next stop was Walmart, so I would pick one up then. "So, you're going to do it yourself?" he said. Yes, I replied. That was that, and I headed up to Walmart to get the new air filter. When I got home to install the filter, the screws that hold the filter housing together were so tight, I couldn't get them off. BASTARDS. They over tightened the screws when they put the filter back in. All I wanted was an oil change. Now I have a headache, dirty air filter, clean one in the garage that I can't install. I can't help but think they did this on purpose because I said I was going to do it myself. I've never had issues with changing the air filter, until I went to Jiffy Lube. read more
