My wife and I have done business with them multiple times over the past couple years doing a variety of maintenance/installations on our car and truck. got my car back not running, found out it was my timing. i believe he drove the car too hard and throw my timing this is a slammed car that it not suppose to be driven hard. was told that it was doing 40 mph in 2nd gear. that's about 5500 rpm. where he explained to me where he drove it was a 10mph zone. "right behind the shop" was also told when i got the car back, "it's a fun little car" that raised my suspicion. when i got the car back it wasn't running and i was left waiting for my step dad to come trailer me home. while i was waiting, they were closing up shop. leaving me there to figure it out on my own i guess. first, and last time i bring my car there. the picture below is the car... read more

I took my motor home in to have the front brakes done (rotors, hubs & pads) a few weeks ago, and had an overheating issue with them when we were on vacation a couple days later. I went back to Lon (owner, I assume) to figure out what's going on. We decided to flush the brake fluid, add new fluid, and look at all the brakes (front and rear). They do not write up a service order upon drop off (Lon used scratch paper). I finally got a phone message at the end of the day saying the motor home was ready with no explanation from Lon what they found or what all they did. When I arrived to pick it up, there was one guy there who didn't know anything about what work was done. Just there to take the money. The technician and Lon had left by 4:35 pm. I came back the next day to talk to Lon about what work was done, and he immediately, became hostile as soon as I asked what they did. I was very polite, while he started wagging his finger at me, and raising his voice, simply because I wanted to know the work that was done. It didn't look to me as if any wheel had even been removed to inspect all 4 brakes (as I requested ) and Lon didn't even know what had been done ( no indication of the work done on the payment invoice except "bleed brakes"). I asked if may talk to the technician ( which seemed to make Lon even more angry). The technician came out and explained all the work that was done, which was most all of what I requested. All good! I really don't understand why this guy ( Lon ) was such a jerk, simply because a costumer wants to know what was done on his vehicle. If your poor business practice (no service order and no explanation on the invoice) leaves the costumer no other option but to ask, you shouldn't be such an @*#hole when the costumer then wants to know. Very unprofessional, and an unpleasant experience. He has a huge poster of the 10 Commandments behind the counter, but his behavior was definitely UN Christian. I will not be back!! read more

I was going from Reno to Southern Cali today and my check engine light came on. I had to double back to find a shop. I went in and asked if there was a chance I could get someone to read the codes for the fault. They hopped right on it. They even did the quick fix on the spot. They had cars in their bays and moved one to get me in. It wasn't a hard fix and they could have told me to take a hike, but they didn't. Definitely appreciate the help in a pinch. We were on our way to LA to visit family when we picked up a screw in our rear tire. We stopped at the 1-Way Auto Care becasue the tire was going flat fast and BMW's do not have spares (only thing I hate about this car). Chelsea met us and informed me that they were extremely busy, but if I could wait for a few minutes she would squeeze us in. She performed the most throrough and complete repair I have seen in ages -real old school. She did everything a REAL MECHANIC woud do, no shortcuts, no rushing (she was still quick) and triple checked her work as she went along. That tire was going to leave properly repaired!!! Even something as small as a flat repair received the attention it needed. Not like some shops I have been where they treat a repair like this as a nuisance and can't wait to get you out of the Shop. Needless to say, we made it to LA and back to Reno using 395 and flat-out flew in both directions. The plug/patch work done by Chelsea held and then some with excessive speed and heat being our mode of driving. Thanks to Chelsea and Michael for making our flat round again. read more

I had them take care of my company dodge ram truck. At first I thought they were GREAT but after a couple of visits I found that I would rather have another garage service my truck. I would say they are great on small maintenance projects like tires, oil changes and brakes but anything bigger take it to another mechanic. First I had them fix my u-joints during last summer and this winter while in 4 wheel drive it busted again and straight broke off. They ended up fixing it for free with the axel too because it got tweaked. Warranty good thing. Things shouldn't break like they did after being brand new. I had a mechanic look at it before I brought it back to them to fix and they said the screws on my drive shaft were only hand tightened Crazy. They should be tightened to certain specs. I also lost all my compression in my engine this winter and found out that my springs around my pistons went bad they fixed it. Took awhile but fixed it. I drove away thinking every thing was good once again and noticed my engine was not running well and then my engine light came on. I brought it back. The mechanic put the spark plug wires back in wrong. After leaving I noticed my engine light came on again never before was I having these problems. This time for some electrical issue from cruise control that my truck doesn't even have. It's a basic model. When I had a different mechanic look at it and we found wires rubbing on my fan belt that were burnt . They slapped my engine back together and didn't make sure everything was in order. I think Tyler and his father the owner are good peeps and fair but his help in the garage sucks. Get new mechanics licensed maybe!!! Or ones that care. I give them two stars only because Tyler and his father the owner were very nice to me but I won't be going back for anything. I would expect this kind of work to be done say from Walmart! read more

I was very disappointed on there service I called them to give me a quote over the phone including tax and freight very important I knew that because I had the price from the other place that I was having problems getingt tire from somewhere else Tylor the owners son Quoted me a price of $220.61 I then asked him again does that incllude the tax and freight he said yes well when I got there to pay for tire he told me $262.62 I said WHAT thats not what you quoted me over the phone I was shocked he said the $220.62 wasn't with tax and freight. I paid for tire had to order it and left then I got to thinking thats not right so I went back and asked the owner He said that was the price I said for $21 you are going to lose a customer that has been coimg in there for years and 4 cars to service and tires. you are wiilling to lose a customer he wasn't going to make the adjustment so I'm not going to go back he lost a good loyal customer.
