    Oil on steering wheel

    Desperate for an oil change (July 4 coming up), paid for the signature oil change. Went down the road and double checked the work. Oil all over the engine bay, on the door handles, steering wheel. Not to mention part of the service calls for a vacuum and exterior window wash-- not performed. Then the car started smoking due to oil on the exhaust manifold, will try Take 5 in Pantops. Nice people, just a sloppy tech --which sloppy in this business can have major ramifications!

    Corroded battery cables, never even mentioned this to me

    Went in for an oil change, $165 later I got an oil change, tires (supposedly rotated) and 2 "recommended filters" to the turn of $70. What they neglected to tell me or suggest is that the battery cables were corroded to the point that my car may have not started. A maintenance associate at my job informed me the next day when I asked him to check my wiper fluid because it was acting like it was low, it wasn't topped off when the oil change was performed. It is saddening that they could recommend and replace filters that were under the car but couldn't see or tell me about something as serious as corroded battery cables that could have potentially left me stranded. I highly doubt a dirty filter would have had such dire consequences, but cleaning battery cables clearly isn't as profitable as replacing $70 filters!

I was basically stranded. Stranger came. Helped .patched it and I called discount tire asking and begging for them to wait 5 mins after they close it's a holiday and to PLEASE help. No sympathy I called NTB and Jonathan and Curtis was extremely patient and helpful ! Completely understanding and waited for me to arrive. THANK YOU NTB life savers. The whole team thank you! I live 3 hours away and had no means of transportation and it was a holiday weekend. They truly are an amazing team and I had more than a wonderful Experience Bathrooms were clean. They were fast , patient and professional. It's companies like NTB that show me humanity still exists and good customer service.

    I made a 10:00 appointment for some regular maintenance service, an oil change, brake fluid…read morereplacement, and tire rotation. Arrived at 9:40. There were six people ahead of me, no one at the counter and no place to sit. So I stood in line behind six people. Someone finally arrived at the desk, I was told it was the manager. He couldn't stop going over the details of a tire he didn't have with a prospective customer. He continually turned the computer screen to show the details, like the inventory of every NTB in the state of VA to demonstrate that they didn't have the part. Several times, he exited into the shop area and was gone for minutes. The phone was ringing off the hook. and never once got answered. He finally told her she would have to order it online, with never ending explanations on how to do it. She went to leave four times and he just wouldn't stop instructing her on ordering the tire. He completely ignored the six other people in line. She finally left and someone else stepped up to the counter. He never made eye contact or said a word, just worked on the computer, printed something out, and went into the parking lot pursuing this one prospective customer. He did this not once, but twice. He never acknowledged the six people waiting, which was now down to five, as one had left. He continued to work on the computer, with no word or eye contact with anyone. At this point, I had been waiting 20 minutes, and only moved up in line due to attrition. I stepped up, informed him who I was an asked him to cancel the appointment. He never had the courtesy to look me, or anyone else waiting, in the eye. Never once said "sorry folks, we're shorthanded and busy, and I'm working to get to you." It was the most incompetent, unwelcoming, and poor excuse for a business I have been in for quite some time. I cannot speak to the quality or timeliness of their actual automotive service, because their customer service was so poor I couldn't get there. But if this end of the business was managed so horrifically, I was not taking any chances on how bad the actual service might be. I will go somewhere else. I only gave NTB one star because you can't give none. I would never go back there. I would never recommend that anyone else ever go there. Business goes where it's welcomed, not ignored. They need to learn that lesson here.
