I've been coming to the Briargate & Academy location for all of my oil changes and any questions I had about my car for well over a year or so. They have always been outstanding in their service, but today put them head and shoulders above everyone else. Let me tell you why. I had taken my car to a tire store to get my tires replaced, and that store gave me a laundry list of things that were mechanically deficient with my car. The cost to fix everything was going to be over $2,000. Because I trust the folks at this Jiffy Lube, I showed them the list that the tire store gave me of all of the things that were "wrong" with my car. The service folks at Jiffy Lube went through the list one item at a time, did a full inspection, and let me know that the list was completely incorrect. My car was mechanically sound and not ready for any service for another 5K miles when I'm due for my next oil change. If you need ANYTHING done to your car, or even a second opinion about repairs, go to Jiffy Lube at Briargate and Academy. THEY WILL HONESTLY ASSESS YOUR VEHICLE!!! I visited Jiffy Lube recently and was really disappointed with the experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff seemed rushed and didn't take the time to explain what services they were performing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I specifically asked for a basic oil change, but they tried to upsell me on several things without providing clear details or pricing first. On top of that, after the service, I noticed an oil leak that wasn't there before. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I returned to have it checked, I didn't get a clear resolution, and customer service wasn't helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It felt like they were more focused on getting cars in and out than ensuring quality work. I won't be returning to this location. I'd recommend checking out other local shops that take the time to do the job right and stand behind their work. Valvoline is closed on Sundays so I drove across town to try Jiffy Lube. I got there at 3:35pm and there were two service bays with cars in them and one service bay available. A lady cracked open the door and shouted at me that they stop taking cars 30 mins prior to close. If it is your policy that you can't take my car 25 mins prior to close, then please update your hours of operation to reflect that. If you have lazy employees that just want to get out of there, then please address that. It takes forever to get across Colorado Springs, and it's even worse to travel across and be turned away 25 mins prior to close. I'll be going back to Valvoline, as I've always had good experiences there and the people seem to genuinely focus on their work. read more

I asked for an oil change today, and these folks were really kind. Not only did they provide quick and kind service, but they were honest in their assessment of my vehicle. It looks like there are only young people running this JL, however, they were nicer and more respectful than the places I've gone to with old heads. I walked in there on a Friday night 30 min to closing time to make an appointment for next week, but they actually took me in and had me out in about 20 minutes. Kanaya and Graham were absolutely amazing! They made a great team and very kind and friendly also quick at what they do! The crew at this location got the oil changed on our out of state vehicle pretty quickly. We were a little put off about them asking us to get our pups out of the back because only one of the techs could drive a stick and he said he's allergic to dogs. They let us drive the car into the bay so it wasn't really an issue in the end. I asked them to skip over checking filters and fluids but they did it anyway. As a result we were charged for a full service oil change. They did accept a $10 online coupon but the bill was still $85 for high mileage blend on our four cylinder kia soul which seems to be too much. read more

My car had a super flat tire, I drove around and called 3 to 5 different gas stations and all of their air machines were out. I quickly called Jiffy Lube as it was the closest to me at the time and they got me in SUPER QUICK. I called and they had no problem getting me some air! Checked all my tires, and even checked the flat for any nails or holes. So happy with the service and the workers!! Will definitely be giving them my service next time I need it! I chose to get an oil change at this business today. It was my first time at this Jiffy Lube. My rating would've been 5 stars, except for the unfriendliness of the actual employee who worked on my vehicle. The employee who signed me in at first was friendly and did a good job. The employee (Brianna) who checked me out and explained the services that had been done was excellent, competent, and friendly. The customer waiting room with a few chairs, TV, and restroom was okay, but probably the smallest, least equipped Jiffy Lube customer waiting room I've ever seem. They really need to put some time and attention on this to make the customer waiting experience much better. read more

I love these folks. I have had to go in twice in the last couple months, once with my car, once with a rental because of tire pressure. They were so nice. The funniest thing was the man in the waiting room would who not use the "Unisex" restroom and the older man telling him, "Hey, no one is in there to pee on your shoes". Brii was amazing. I pulled in didn't know the prices dude already drained my oil without my permission so I had to get a oil change regardless of if I wanted to or not then so they said we already drained your oil after I told them never mind and the mechanic said well sir we already drained your oil so you kinda have to get a oil change because if u drive off your gonna blow your engine then I hold 5 quarts of oil they charged me for 6 read more

I usually go to another Jiffy Lube for service, but they were understaffed today. Went here. No line. Was out in about 15-20 minutes. No issues. With my $30 coupon, came to $30 for a conventional oil change on my older model SUV. The guys are pretty personable. Absolutely no upselling. This will be my new go to Jiffy Lube. One suggestion. I pulled up and waited for someone to direct me to the garage like normal, nothing. 3 guys looked at me for a while before one walked over. He told me an oil change would be $110 after tax. Crazy. Jiffy lube offers a Groupon for 34.99 for a conventional oil change, including an oil filter. I bought it for my daughter and she went to the Briargate location. First off, they told her that they didn't have any conventional oil so she would need to pay an additional $20 for synthetic. Then they charged a $14.00 shop fee. I was on the phone with my daughter and could her the woman working there telling her there was also going to be a charge for an oil filter and to recycle the oil. The Groupon clearly states the filter is included. Then the woman backtracked and said the oil recycling is included in the "shop" fee. So an oil change for a Nissan Altima ended up costing $75.00 with a Groupon that says the cost is $34.99. Jiffy lube rips people off. Especially young women. They just lost 3 regular customers who regularly get their oil changed. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Don't bother with this place and don't waste your time. It's an absolute dump yet they still charge high prices for an oil change. Service is a nightmare I got there at 8:10 am for a conventional oil change and they told me it would be 20-30 minutes till they could get me in, which is completely fine. An hour later and I'm still sitting in my car in front of the garage. No one came out to talk to me or check me in or anything. Can't imagine worse service. The people are nice and the prices are fine but I will not be back to this location. Mostly because the waiting room is a dump and they don't have any air conditioning. At least invest in a fan! Who want to sit in a 90 degree room for a hour while your car get worked on. I usually go to the location off Powers and it is much nicer. read more

I stopped by for a routine oil change. I have done hundreds of oil changes in my cars. To my total displeasure I see a tech enter buttons not everything he added on my bill made sense. When questioned, the tech can't answer any of my questions about the charges. The only thing I hear are mumbles of lies, not even a full sentence that answered my questions. A $27.99 high mileage treatment added to a $71.99 synthetic blend oil change???? Unfortunately not one employee had a name badge of name on their shirt so I could not tell who the manager was. While I watched my oil get replaced, I looked for any bottles of oil treatment and I could not see anything despite my walking the entire store. Sadly disappointed in their attempt to scam me. I've been looking for a place for all of my car maintainence needs since my dealership is too far away to make it worth it. And I've found it here at jiffy lube! From the time I pulled up to the time I drove off- 30 minutes. I've had my car for almost two years and have never been in and out that fast in my life. They were very friendly and customer service oriented. He explained all of the products and options and I didn't feel like he was being too pushy when it came to upselling anything (but I also understand that that IS part of their job so I don't mind if they try). They even vacuumed the inside of my car (which I was actually going to do when I left), and doubled the coupon I gave them. I highly recommend this jiffy lube to anyone in the briargate area! My oil change and tire rotation took about 30 to 45 minutes. The staff was friendly and facilities was clean. There is no wifi available but they do allow pets into their waiting room. I highly recommend visiting their website to download a coupon. I found a coupon that saved me $15. I got the signature service which was about $85. I was impressed with the service I got a month ago. That was until my check engine light came on. I took it to the toyota dealer and they said the oil filter was the wrong one, had been cut to fit, and thus all my oil had leaked out.
