There should be an option to give this place zero stars.. yes it's that bad. This is my second time coming here and man I should have learned the first. Both times I was the next car in line to be serviced and both times told about a half hour... well here I am at an hour and 15 minutes while all the other cars are cleared out and there are 5 techs standing around doing relatively nothing while one is just starting to drain my oil. It's been in the shop for about 40 while they haven't even pulled the damn drain plug... this place is awful, I usually go to the jiffy lube on concord avenue where you don't even get out of your car and it's always done in 30 minutes or less no matter how busy they are. Unfortunately this one was on my way this time, lesson completely learned this time. Do yourself a favor and go to the other one, this one has to be incredibly poorly run. read more

I paid for a oil change and had a oil leak so went back they said it was my cv coil leaking so I took it to the dealer they said it was coming from the oil filter when they took it off part of the old filter was still there causing a not tight seal so leaking. I bought a house, and decided to try and save money by taking my car to Jiffy Lube instead of the dealership. The mechanics failed to properly tighten the oil pan plug, which fell off while I was on the freeway the following day. It ruined the engine, and I had to replace it. I contacted the Jiffy Lube, and their corporate office, and they agreed to pay the towing bill, but would not address the engine damage. They hung up on me several times when I was trying to deal with this. It ended up costing me $1000 to buy a used engine and have a friend install it. If I could give them a zero star review, I would. They have cheap prices, but it can end up costing you much more! read more

I went to jiffy lube for a last minute oil change. While there they up sold me to change my air filters in the car while working on this task they broke my glove compartment while trying to change the filter inside the car they ended up not changing it because they did not know how to reach this filter. I reached out to district manager Philip Arnold and explained to him the situation. Jiffy lube decided not to refund me or help me fix the damage. I don't recommend Concord jiffy lube matter of fact dealerships provide better service for comparable price if not cheaper. read more

He drove it home left it in the driveway for five minutes, pulled in the garage for 10 minutes. We left for church, came back to pick up our daughter and we saw the leak on the driveway! Six inches in length! The garage 4 x 4 spot! Called them to get an explanation maybe it was run off or overfill....GOT NOTHING BUT EMPTY ANSWERS. We bring it back and of course my husband is upset! One guy gave us attitude until I stepped in and went Southern on him. Another one of the guys was nice enough to get under the car in the cage to check it out, he took pictures and reassured us it's fine. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE TAKE ANY OF OUR CARS! My experience was horrible and shocking. My work order mentioned that I had an "excessive transmission leak" and "excessive oil leaks prior to service." Oil leaks??? Can't you fix it?! Both issues were never brought to my attention. The next day I had my dealer check for leaks, nothing was wrong with the transmission. However, the oil filter was wrong. Jiffy Lube attempted to earn $250 for a transmission flush on an auto that had the transmission flushed prior by the dealership. Will never go back! Done trusting a place that has been all over the news for poor quality of service. I gave them a benefit of a doubt for many years. Their inappropriate action could have cost me thousands of dollars. I have been a customer for quite some time. Over 20 years. The price goes up (over $100) but service is going down. I waited over an hour for an oil change on Friday around noon. I was patient. Spent most of the time outside with my puppy. When my car was finally serviced it was almost to quick. The following morning when I was leaving for work I was shocked to see that my rear window had not been cleaned, it was a smeared dirty mess. It looked like the dirt on the window had been wiped with a dirty cloth. I could hardly see out of it. I will not be returning. I don't understand why this happened. read more

You would hope that when you pay for their service that you could drive away without wondering if you got what you paid for. But that's not the case. I didn't pay enough attention to the checklist or all the little details that are supposed to come with the signature service. But after driving away I had time to kill and looked at the checklist. Everything said completed but that wasn't the case: 1) My drivers side front tire was low when I pulled in. It was still low when I pulled out. 6psi low. 2) I needed windshield washer fluid when I pulled in. It was still near empty when I left. 3) They didn't wash the exterior windows like the checklist said they did. They addressed the issues when I went back but no one thought to apologize for wasting my time on a second trip. Just terrible...I have ordered tire rotation and oil changing. I have received my car all in dirty fingerprints inside on the handles and on the glove box. I have been charged for tire rotation, but my tires was on their previus places. Actually they didnt rotate tires at all. I came in to get my brakes checked (for free) last year and was told it was 40%, not bad enough to need replacing, but keep an eye on it. So with the wet weather, I decided to have them checked again, along with my oil change and headlamps polished. I was told only one set of brakes we're needed, not both. They were quick, efficient and a great price. Tonight when I drove my car, it was like a miracle how much I could see with the polished lights, brakes felt wonderful and the car even seemed to run better! Went in today to get Big Red serviced as it was that time. The process went smoothly, i usually detest going to quick lube places because it's been my experience that the inside of the establishment is usually dirty the bathroom is normally unusable and the customer service is typically.... I'm greeted by a man who thinks he knows more about my car than I do I'm happy to report that is was NOT the case here. I was greeted by a well mannered young man name John. He spoke proper English and had a funny sense of humor this made my wait time palatable lol. I also had 10$ off coupon for the win as most people know Jiffy Lube is efficient but it sure the hell is not cheap If I had the time to change my oil myself I would however this is why they exist for people with no time just like me lol. The place was super clean so was the bathroom I did have to watch ugly Wendy Williams while I was there but I could have asked for the remote but it wasn't a huge deal to me. They finished, changed my oil filter, offered to rotate my tires which I thought was super awesome but I haven't even had my brand new set for two months so it wasn't needed at that time. John vacuumed out my car and washed my windows now that right there is what I call customer service. We use this business, because they get us in and out fast. Not today. When I first visited mid-morning, there was a line of five cars waiting outside the building, in addition to the 2-3 cars already inside. (I could've gone to "PB" on CC Blvd., but I don't think my bad back could've taken the wait: 2+ hours, even w/appointment.) I waited at Jiffy Lube and hour and fifteen minutes. The staff there always surprises me at "show and tell" time -- when I get to see my dirty engine air and cabin filters. And they were dirty! (This was the first service in the six months and 4k miles since I bought this used 2021 Honda at CMax in PH, so I can't believe the dealer inspected the filters before I bought it.) Jiffy Lube wanted $29.99 to replace the engine air filter and $54.99 for the cabin air filter. Yikes! I said no thanks and ordered a pair of really good filters from Amazon for $12.87 and $13.49, respectively. I guess Jiffy Lube was short-staffed today, so that's probably why it took so long. To their credit, none of them appeared to cut corners off the usual service, but I didn't get the warm and fuzzy feeling I got from these guys years ago. (If you're wondering this full-synthetic oil and filter service to manufacturer's specs was $112.99. That's why I usually schlepp over to PB in Pleasant Hill.) Oh, and thanks to COVID, the free coffee setup in the listing photo is long gone. read more

Do not take your car to jiffy lube. Specifically, the one at 4500 Clayton rd in concord. Took my suv there for an oil change. After spending more than an hour there and enduring the rep trying to up-sale me things I didn't need, I drove my car home and parked. Next day went to start it, check engine light came on and it began running funny. Oil gauge at zero. Now, I had problems with this before, and thought the gauge was acting up again. Took it to my mechanic only to find that the engine was down 5 quarts of oil. WTF! So more than and hour spent and they forgot to put the very expensive oil I paid for in my car. This could have been catastrophic, completely destroying my engine. I'm lucky it didn't. Needless, to say I will never be going back that or any other jiffy lube. The one good thing, when I spoke with the manager, she addressed it quickly with corporate and a week later I received a reimbursement check. The manager just yells at her workers. Takes an hour, at 10am in her car while her team struggles with a basic oil change. I got here at 9:40 am. There were 4 cars ahead of me, it's 11:00 am now and there's still 2 to go. I'm not sure how this works (being sarcastic), but this is pretty bad. I have never had issues with these mechanics - which is a new concept for me! The employees are extremely friendly, and make the visit less painful. They always have coupons, and the nice guy who rang me up let me use one that was for a different location (apparently). The lobby is pretty nice for an auto shop. There are magazines, a well-kept bathroom, and a Keurig machine. The chairs aren't super comfortable, but there are quite of few of them. Their speed can't be beat! I love going in to get an oil change and tire rotation, and getting out the door in about half an hour. At other mechanics you have to make an appointment, or hope they're available for an easy oil change. The price of an oil change is a bit high, but the coupons make it bearable. With the service, waiting room, and speed, this is the only place I want to go to for an oil change. read more

About 10mins later he came up to me and told me You don't need an oil change ma'am. He said your car was serviced less than 3000 miles ago. Now honestly, tell me how many service techs tell you that? Despite my reviews on previous locations at 1 star, this spot i'm giving it a 3 star. I was in need of an oil change, and this was right down the street from my sisters house. So convenience is always a plus. I pulled in and the guy comes towards my car asking what type of service I wanted done. I said full service oil change. Before he proceeded, he already knew they may not have my oil filter in stock, but he took the time to double check for me. And he was right, no oil filter for my car in stock. I got an oil change recently and my car started to leak oil - I had to pullover and leave my car in a parking lot overnight. The next morning, a Jiffy Lube employee from this location met me there and helped to fix it free of cost. A gentlemen named Jared was particularly helpful and I couldn't have thanked him enough. His customer service skills and knowledge of what was going on with my car was extremely impressive, and he was extremely polite every step of the way. I was really in need of oil change and that's how I ended up here.I usually pay less than $50 for oil change and at this place the least expensive is almost $70 and after the diagnosis of my car the tech said he suggested to change the filters which it would've had been almost $150!!! I have taken my car here twice to get it serviced, and both times have been completely satisfied with the place. They are generally very quick with the oil change service, and top off all your fluids for you at no additional cost. You can also go in at any time to have the fluids topped off, again at not cost. I was going to leave it at that but now I'm inclined to elaborate.... in March they did an oil change that resulted in my engine freezing. I had a friend lend me a car for a while, but had to give it back when he got in an accident but no problem, Jiffy Lube said that they'd replace my engine and reimburse me for the rental. It took three months to get my truck back and I got it back with the wrong engine, so basically I have a leaky paperweight. I submitted my $1623 reimbursement months ago and have no heard anything from their district manager after many phone calls and visits. I can only speak on my experience. Every time I visit the staff are friendly and check-in on you periodically. When they are very busy expect a long wait maybe 45 minutes to an hour, it's a lot for some people to wait that long but considering the number of cars being serviced and what the job entails- it's a fair wait time. I used to wait longer at dealerships for scheduled oil changes. I would recommended arriving at non-rush times which are weekdays after noon. The young men and women that work there are great at walking you through the process, yes - they upsell things -but that's retail- you can decline. Prices are fair, they have coffee, water, and clean bathrooms. It's also very conveniently located next to the car wash- I am able to get an oil change and car wash the same morning. read more

Okay, so after receiving my $100 refund for a botched $200 service that cost me another $200 to get diagnosed and fixed, I've decided to go ahead and say, changing oil is one thing, but don't let them touch anything else. I still am burning off transmission fluid from an overfill and misdiagnosed "leak" from nearly three months ago. There was no leak prior to going in, and It was obvious where the leak was coming from and obvious that it would have been easily remedied--just tighten the four bolts that you loosened in the first place! I'm out $100 and have to drive by this place everyday reminding me of what really lousy service is. The only reason I even got the $100 is because I was persistent. They still wouldn't admit to any wrong-doing. Trust me, when it comes to JiffyLube, you get what you pay for from kids who may be polite, but who know very little.
