The Team here at this Les Schwab is awesome-Antonio and Samuel went above and beyond! I was having an issue with my tire pressure that wasn't resolving when filling the tire with air. The tire kept leaking air and I kept refilling it throughout the week. I was having trouble finding time to take care of it with my work schedule. I called after 5pm to see if they could fit me in. From the initial call to replacing the faulty valve, they were professional and on it! They also checked the tire for leaks and checked all 4 tire sensors. Let me start off by saying I work in a shop myself I am a professional. I am a service technician for Cal Hydro appearance to everything the littlest details matter as a technician these things need to be followed. I paid $2100 hard earned cash, I got work done here. I get in my truck the next day and see filthy greasy handprints all over my vehicle.... Inside and outside.!!! come on guys it takes literally two minutes or less to wipe something down, do you guys not wear gloves?! Like I said, I work in a shop myself and products would never leave our Shop look the way that I receive my truck the other day!!! very, very disappointing. We have a fleet of vehicles that I will not have serviced here ever again, I will not be recommending this place to any of my technicians, colleagues or friends ever!!!!! I should have known by when I pulled up to the place. It sounded like a daycare center with a bunch of young, silly kids, screaming, and making stupid noises.....smh I should've had my truck towed somewhere else at that moment but hey time is money and I need my truck back on the road as soon as possible. First time doing business with Les Schwab. Had a slow leak in one of my tires, and their Contra Costa location was close by. Stopped by and asked if they had time to take a look; very friendly front desk, warm greeting. Said if I was willing to wait, would take approximately 1hr45. Waited in their TV lounge.....car was ready at 1hr30. Said tech found large nail, removed and repaired. When I asked what I owed, they said No Charge. Said "you're kidding".....responded with "not at all.......just keep us in mind if you're ever in the market for new tires". I will definitely recommend them, and look to them in the future. read more

I came here a couple weeks ago for a tire rotation in my 2026 sprinter 3500. They had to jack it up outside because the vehicle is tall & they couldn't do it indoors. Anyway the 3500 Sprinter has duel rear tires. I'm guessing that they rested a tire on the panel behind rear mudflap and let down the jack causing indentations on my brand-new sprinter. I was just gonna turn a blind eye to it because it was low and very subtle. But when I saw the sun hitting it today at the right angle, I felt disappointed. I may as well add some more issues. The rims on the driver's side which was the side I approached after the service were nice and clean since there had been grime built up beforehand. This impressed me. It wasn't till I left the location afterwards that I noticed the passenger side rims were not touched and grime was as previous(like why not do both sides?) Also the front passenger tire had the extender air valve still attached. It wasn't till I was trying to attach the extender valve back on rear tire with much difficulty being in a tight spot that I noticed the indentations. To top it off, after I paid for my tire rotation and was escorted to my vehicle and about to be on my way, a Les Schwab serviceman came rushing out from around the corner telling me not to move my vehicle because there was still a jack jacked up on my front passenger side. read more

Words cannot describe how infuriating and dangerous my previous experiences went with this company in general. After dropping off my car and keys onsite on November 18th, a technician called me up about 30 minutes later to mention they completed both the oil change and tire rotation. However, after inquiring about the brake fluid service I requested beforehand, they said they'll get it done. Three hours later and with no update from them, I contacted the location directly to request an update. The technician on the phone mentioned the person who oversaw the oil change flushed out the car's transmission fluid. The general manager on staff reassured me the fluid will get immediately replaced. I picked up the car at the end of the workday, though I noticed new sounds that indicated the car wasn't the same before the service. Les Schwab does not officially offer transmission services. Fast forward a week, and almost 1.5 hours into an out-of-town drive, the car's CVT fluid warning light comes on. After talking with the general manager, he said he'll contact the nearest branch location to diagnose the problem. The staff in the Roseville location stated that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. When I drove back home, the CVT transmission warning light turned on again. I took the car back in for service on the morning of December 3rd after describing the problem to the general manager. After waiting for 45 minutes after closing and being delayed multiple times, I am finally given the car back due to the engine oil level being too high along with the transmission fluid being replaced as well. After stopping the engine in a nearby parking lot, oil smoke rises from the engine bay! They did a poor job cleaning up the oil. Eventually it subsided after I personally cleaned up the mess they left behind. A side note I will add from the previous paragraph. While waiting for the car in the waiting area, a married couple reported losing all their car's brake pressure as soon as they left Les Schwab. They almost hit two vehicles before they stopped in the car washing shop next door. Suffice to say they too were angry. As I am writing this draft, more problems occurred. While driving out of town on December 6th, the car's CVT transmission warning light goes off, this time 30 to 40 minutes into the drive. After stopping off at an Arco gas station in Vacaville, smoke rose from the engine bay, this time it's CVT fluid. I could tell due to the different smell along with a large puddle consistently dribbling from underneath the car. The general manager agreed to pay for all rental car, tow truck, and repair expenses associated with the incident. The dealership diagnosed the problem as being the CVT fluid being filled up too much in the transmission. My girlfriend assisted me greatly throughout this whole endeavor. Why did I come to Les Schwab in the first place? To save $50-$60. From now on, I will gladly pay a higher initial price at a local mechanic rather than a corporate entity. Time I will never get back writing all of this out along with all the prior incidences make that amount of money worthwhile. Management at the Concord location needs to send customers to a third-party mechanic if problems arise during the initial service if the company does not officially offer the service. I managed to drive my vehicle slowly to the closest tire shop after finding my back passenger tire hissing and loosing air.It was a little after 5am and had no choice but to wait until Les Schwab Tire Shop opened at 8am. To my surprise the lights and welcome mat came out just past 6am. I jumped out of my car startling the assistant manager Travis and asked if they were open? He said no they were having an early store meeting and that's why he was opening the front door. He asked if he could help me despite it being so early and proceeded to fix my tire. This place SUCKS!!! I had all my brakes done here and they took 8 hours to them even though I made an appointment. They left oil stains on my interior seats and doors. I had to go back less than a month after the installation because these morons installed a bad gasket and was leaking brake fluid. Also, last time I had my tires rotated I mentioned that a tire was deflating and my sensor light was on. Idiots said no problem detected and sent me on my way only to have a the sensor appear again and went back to find a nail in the tire?!?! Wasted my time and money more than once. I've done service with Les Schwab tires for a very long time. I've taken our company fleet trucks and vans even my personal cars to this company. But this location had dropped the ball. We made an appointment for new tires and added an oil change. Dropped it off and 10am paid for upcoming services no problem. My tech comes back to pick it up at 6pm and the truck isn't even in the bay yet. 1,5 hours later they get to it and tells us it'll take 30-40mins to complete only to find out it was just oil change and that they didn't know about the new tires they were suppose to install. They just refunded us back the tires and just charged us for the oil that Walmart team could've done in 20 mins I'm very disappointed with this location read more

I went in yesterday because our car had an issue and I wanted to have the battery checked to see if a replacement was needed. Nicholas helped me by gathering information about the car and taking down my information as well. He was professional but also seemed warm towards each client. They tested both the battery AND the alternator and I didn't have to pay a cent. It took a while but that was fine because I knew I didn't have an appointment and my daughter and I went to visit a family member who lives nearby. Great service and I appreciate their effort, efficiency, and desire to help me out. The battery and alternator are fine by the way and Nicholas hated telling me that I would need to go elsewhere to see if it was an electrical issue, but I appreciate his input and honesty. read more

Disreputable, shoddy, and didn't even do the work we paid for! We took our Audi in for an alignment and oil change. The first time we drove it afterward we got a warning that the oil was low! Pulled over and checked the dipstick and the oil was almost all out!!! My daughter was driving and panicked...and called me, I wasn't sure which Les Schwab we'd taken it to so I called the one on Alhambra in Martinez and was told it was impossible that they hadn't refilled the oil because they ALWAYS have a second person check the first technician's work. He looked up our account and said the Contra Costa Concord location had done the work. We called there and they sent a manager out with oil and they filled up the engine with oil. Not only did they drain the oil and not refill it, they spilled oil all over the engine, removed the bottom plate and lost the screws so it was held on with just two screws about the fall off. We found this out because we took it to Martinez to have them check the work (which is where we usually take it as they are amazing and reputable but wires were crossed in our family and my daughter mistakenly took it to Contra Costa which was the mistake of a lifetime as you will find as you read on). We then took it to Martinez they showed us that not only had Martinez drained the oil and we could've had the engine seize up by driving it but it was filthy with spilled oil and the plate barely hanging on....then they said they should double check the work on the alignment. They checked and sure enough: Contra Costa hadn't even done the alignment AT ALL!!! Martinez very generously did the alignment for us at No Charge! Unfortunately, they couldn't clean the engine or order the missing bolts. We had to call Contra Costa. When we called Contra Costa, they said they'd clean the engine and order the missing bolts and call us back. One week, no call. We called back. They hadn't been ordered and promised us they'd call us when they came in. Another week no call. Same thing, no bolts and more promises. It went like this for more than a month! They didn't know which way was up. No one cared to order the bolts or even call us back. More than that, they blamed some tech for not doing the oil or doing the alignment. However, that can't be because they should have a 2 person verification. They didn't even offer any remedy. Martinez had to fix it for them! They were happy to take all of our money and have Martinez do the work. STAY AWAY from Contra Costa. They are scammers. They take your money and don't even to the work. Save yourself weeks of headaches, being stranded on the side of the road without oil in your engine and go anywhere but Contra Costa Les Schwab. They are HORRIBLE!!! read more

While working on my car I stepped close to the garage doors to see them work on it.I over heard why i will never come back again to do any kind of service, Was how rude Nicholas was to the employees. I made an appointment at 11 but had to wait all day because the person who was supposed to work on my truck since it was lowered was busy all day, I didn't get the call to pick up the truck until around 3. The rims were hitting my control arm with the new suspension I installed made the rims rub nobody let me know they were rubbing. When they parked the truck they drove the Valance over the parking curb. Now months later as I jacked the truck up I noticed the frame is all scratched up and the frame is bent slightly from improper jacking near the fuel filter. I will not be back.I suggest to take your car somewhere else especially if it is lowered. read more

I called this location and made an appointment or so I thought to have my KIA aligned and balanced. I asked specifically what time should I bring in the vehicle, I was told the earliest was 8 am I said ok I'll be there around 9 am. Once I arrive I am told it wasn't an appointment it was a walk in time. Ok fine I then ask how long will it take to get the service done, he said he wasn't sure might be a while. 4 hours go by and my car is still sitting in the parking lot untouched. I go to the counter and ask again how much longer will it take? The person tells me well we need to free up the lift for the alignment before doing it. Another 4 hours go by and they call me and proceed to lie when I asked was the alignment done which it wasn't. They only did the balancing. 8 hours for a balancing and TPMS swap. This place is absolutely unprofessional and untrustworthy do not waste your time here they can't keep track of their business or customers issues and don't accurately do the work. And the cherry on top I paid for tire disposal and they tried to make me go home with said tires are you freaking kidding me! You had all the details of the service I needed but you cant recall or tell me what service can and can't be done at checkout. The alignment was never done and in the notes it said it needed a steering system reset you know the model of the vehicle but you offered the service anyway what kind of racket are you running! I went here to get a tire rotation. Was told the wait would be one to one and a half hours. I decided to have the rotation done while I sat in the customer area. After sitting for 4 hours a technician came and told me that there would be a delay because he just found a large nail in one tire. I asked if they could expedite it. He told me that he actually didn't think it was leaking if I wanted to leave. I told him that I didn't want to do that because it may go flat on me. He said he would fix it. After waiting another hour I approached the desk and asked if I could get an update. The guy was super rude to me and told me that they were busy. I told him I had been waiting all day. He then snapped at me and asked, "Do you want to leave? Do you want me to go get your keys for you?" I told him he could go get my keys but it wouldn't make any difference as all the tires on my vehicle were off. I was so upset with the tone he was using and asked if I could talk to a manager. He told me that he WAS the manager. He went to the technician and then came back to me and said in another rude tone, " Did you know you had a nail in your tire?! That is why it is taking longer." I reminded him that I was there for over four hours waiting for the tire rotation. I then asked for his name. He refused to give it to me! I saw the name Nicholas on his shirt. I asked him if his name was Nicholas. He raised his hands to his forehead, looked at me and said," I cannot talk to you for my own Mental Health!" I was so shocked! He would not talk or look at me after that. I confirmed that he actually was the manager with another employee. There was one other patron in the waiting area would looked just as shocked as I was. He sat there shaking his head in disbelief at this Managers behavior. I complained to the company twice and received no feedback! read more

I've had 2 flat tires in the past year and took it to Les Schwab locations both times. They were able to give complimentary tire repair AND on top of that placing my spare back AND rotated the tires. They have great customer service and were able to get me in ASAP. This second time around it was no question where I would go for a tire repair. I recently got a new-to-me used car, and found that the battery was weak and going dead within 2 days if not charged. So, I checked around, but didn't find the right battery available at my usual sources and didn't want to wait to order one. There was a Les Schwab down the street, and they had fixed flats for my son without charging him, so I decided to check with them, and they had the battery in stock and could do it that day. It was a little more expensive than some, but not that much, and I wanted it fixed, so I left it with them. Got the car back that evening in a few hours, drove it home, and checked it out the next day. I know a bit about electricity and cars, so I checked the voltage, and it was a bit low, about a half a volt, but I thought maybe they didn't have time to fully charge it. I connected my trusty trickle charger, and fully charged it in a few hours. But I noticed the date tag on the battery, which was almost 1 1/2 years old. This surprised me, and was a little concerning. But what was more concerning was that the next day, the voltage was down by about 2%. I monitored it for a week, and recharged it a couple of times in addition to some driving. It seemed to drop down too far for a good battery, so I went by to ask them about it. It's possible that this is normal, or that my car has something that is using current when parked; I was hoping to talk to someone there who knew about the batteries, and could possibly reassure me about my concerns with age of battery, and its health. But all they did was ask me to leave it to be checked, and when I picked it up an hour later, told me it checked out OK. No results showing what was checked, how good "OK" meant, etc. Just the person at the counter telling me he saw the mechanic so the test. Although I didn't complain about the actual service, I personally was not thrilled with the battery installation itself. It looked OK electrically, but was not very neat, and the hold-down seemed like it might be a little loose. I didn't want to mess with it while still evaluating the results, but I'll probably clean it up and straighten the cables back when I test the car's current draw soon - I'm waiting for some parts I ordered to make that job easier. read more

So Just noticed the update on my last visit to this guys,mechanic told me that there is nothing wrong with my rear driver side tire however the same day I visited the toyota center guys told me that there is a nail so tire needs to be patched but mechanic at les schwab told me it's all good with my tires and tonight is wrong. After 2 Days it turns out that the mechanic is just swapped my front tire with rare. They don't fucking care about customers and letting them go without any service! This is the worst place to get tire service from. Don't let them scam you and fuck up your car, think 1000 times before coming here. read more
