Absolutely unethical and incompetent. It is not worth it to get your oil changed here. -Customer witnesses the technician taking the oil filter out through the hood. -Suddenly, after they finish, the ABS light is on. The technician tells us that couldn't possibly have anything to do with what they did. -Take the car to the mechanic, who discovers there's oil everywhere under the hood. -Go back to Jiffy Lube and technician tries to tell us that the ABS light was already on prior to their "service" and that the oil all over the hood was water. -Take the car back to the mechanic who discovers that one of the wires on the ABS sensor was severed and the severing of the wire is consistent with removing the oil filter through the hood. -Manager Sade claims she personally removed the oil filter from the bottom of the car (despite the customer having witnessed a technician removing the oil filter through the hood), but still unable to explain how oil got all over the hood of the car. Totally unapologetic and unhelpful. These people do not know what they're doing. I know oil changes should be simple, and I've taken my car to Jiffy Lube for years, but I now realize it is not worth the risk. They are not well trained and they will not make it right when they cause damage. It can be a little bit of a hassle going to the dealer for oil changes, but I am now certain it's worth it for peace of mind. read more

I will not be going back to this jiffy lube again. They took about 40 min to do my car, which is a bit longer than it should have been but not terrible, now for the negatives. They tried to up sell me on filters. I do need a filter so I was going to get it there, until I saw the price. They were charging about 26 bucks per filter which would have been over $50, I can get them for 13 on Amazon with free shipping and do it myself. So that was a rip off and I declined that service. When they were done they as I was checking out I asked if they had re set the reminder and they told me that they couldn't do that unless I changed the filters. No lights were on to begin with and I only wanted the oil to be reset because it had been changed! Now I was getting grumpy. I know how to re set the light but they should have done it. Next I walk out side. There is oil marks all over my fender because the mat they use to keep oil off your car when they work on it must have been soaked in oil. I mentioned this and the girl said "Oh, I'll wipe it off". I envisioned them sanding my paint away with a dry cloth and the dust and oil residue and asked them to please not do that! Now I'm at a car wash to fix that last issue. Don't go here, it's not worth the headache. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube and after paying for an all change and tire rotation I informed the cashier that I would leave to go get lunch and then be back in my car was done. Once I got back one of the technicians pointed out that my tire stud along with nut was broken. They told me that someone else had to of done it because they didn't touch it even though they did the tire rotation. Keep in mind I had drove for 84 miles before stopping to this Jiffy Lube. There is no way on earth did that not anti-her post could've stayed in the whole without falling out. They broke my tire post and then blamed it on some imaginary people and now I'm stuck with the bill repairing it I will never ever ever come back to any place like this!!! read more

I usually take my car to Rynick Tire for my oil changes but they can take a while and I was in a hurry this day. So I called around to some other places in the area and Jiffy Lube said they could have me in and out in 20 minutes. Perfect! I came down and realized they were a lot more expensive than what I was hoping to pay (I think it was around $50 with taxes and stuff for just a standard oil change and Im used to paying like $30 at Rynick) But then again, I guess its worth it to not have to sit around and wait for too long. The service staff were all very friendly and had great attitudes. They got me in and out of there within 20 minutes just like they said they would when I called. I knock off 2 stars for the prices (although I guess people are willing to pay them because its so fast) and also because they charge extra to rotate your tires. I think that should be included with the oil change. At most places, if you ask them to rotate your tires for you they will do it free of charge. But I guess Jiffy Lube wont do that for you. Oh well. I had my car done in a very short amount of time and was able to get on with my day. I would prob come back to them again if I was in a hurry because they did a good job and were very friendly. But saving $20 and having your tires rotated for free can be worth the wait as well. read more

Now today , my husband goes there and They pull his vehicle in behind another. Two more cars come and go after his and he is still waiting. I brought my Classic TBird in for an oil change and was talked into 6 quarts of synthetic oil at a cost of $72.00. Plus $33.99 for labor for a total of $102.29. Within two months all the oil leaked on my garage floor. They had not screwed the oil filter under my engine all the way. They also lost the screws for my engine cover. I will never frequent this place again. I am lucky we spotted the large oil puddle or I would have blown my engine. read more

But they can do other cars? Of course they don't tell you this until the oil is drained from your engine. Disappointed. Would have been okay except I told them what I wanted up front. Never take your car to this horrible shop I notice a leak the next morning after having an oil change I look under the hood they did not put the dipstick in for the power steering correctly. So I decide to pull the dipstick for the oil and guess what no dipstick is stuck in the bottom of oil pan now I need to take it to a shop and have them pull oil pan. Wish I could rate negative stars. I probably will never go to any other jiffy lube after this place. What a horribly run operation. Took over an hour and a half to change my oil. Detached my skid plate and then didn't reattach it, made up some excuse about not having the screws to put it back on after I drove back cus it fell off. "You probably brought it in this way." They had a guy who had been there 3 hours+ who only needed his AC charged. I have zero confidence in their work and will most likely have to pay another mechanic to check if anything is wrong now. Idk what it is about Clayton Road as a whole but there is some absolutely shitty excuses for chain businesses on that entire street. read more

I came here to get my oil changed and my radiator flushed. Everything was great until I notice my car smoking! Opened the hood to find the radiator cap only half way screwed on and coolant all over my engine. Luckily they reflushed it for free but still had to waste even more of my time. I will not be coming back here! If you can't screw a cap on properly I won't trust you with the rest of my car. No thank you. read more

I have come here before and have had nothing but good things to say, but the service I got today was terrible. When I first got there it was about 8:20, there was a little line so I knew it would take a moment. 9:20 rolls around and my car is sitting behind this other car, which I understand but cars that came after me, were going through the garage. It took 4 people to work on one car. There service use to be better and faster. It may be one time, but I wasn't impressed and the service was terrible. This Jiffy Lube is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I have brought my 2007 Toyota Prius here twice now, and the staff have been nothing but super kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and truly treat me with superior customer service. I often drive way over my suggested 5,000 mile intervals for oil changes, but the staff here reassure me that it's OK, and suggest options for how to help its maintenance. I am usually in a rush to get an oil change, and both times I came to this location, I kid you not: I was in and out in 15 minutes tops. Today, I not only received my service history, but relaxed in their lovely air-conditioned waiting room, relaxing and watching tennis. I was offered coffee and water, as well. I must mention again, that the staff was genuinely kind and I really felt like I could trust them. After what felt like minutes, I was told my car was done. What!!! The turnaround time is insane. I must advise you, though, I have gotten lucky and I tend to take my car in during non-peak times (today was a Sunday @ 11 am). My car always runs fantastically well after receiving its service, and I guarantee you I will keep coming back to this awesome establishment. I actually LIKE going to get an oil change here. Where do I even start . There was nothing Jiffy about this experience . I sat here for almost two hours and my vehicle was trapped due to other vehicles and the slowest response from employees I've ever seen . If I owned this location I would be saddened by the money I saw drive away . I witnessed 4 vehicles pull in as the driver sat there just to be greeted . I'm actually still waiting and my car has not even entered a stall . Sorry but please remove the word Jiffy from your business and call it just "LUBE" I recommend any other place in the greater Concord / Clayton area . I found them helpful in explaining what they were doing and what my options were. I've had radiator work and transmission work done as part of the suggested times to have work done and found the personnel experts in helping me decide what did and did not need to be done. Nightmare story (warning to those who love their cars or value customer service) ....So this is what happened: I took my car to get smogged recently and they tell me someone cut my pcv valve line and plugged it w/ a bolt???? how, why, WTF? so smog guy fails me due to visual (even though the actual emissions check is fine). I'm out the cost of smog, $50 for DMV extension, and the cost to resolve the problem. here's where these yahoos from Jiffy comes in: at first i have no clue what happened. Why would the PCV line be cut? Then I remember last year I went to this Jiffy Lube to get an oil change...convenient location along my commute. The register guy told me i needed my pcv valve replaced, i ask how much...he quotes me $4...I say "OK". After the work, I go to pay and the register guy now tells me that it's $15 for the PCV valve (not sure I'm remembering that price right but it was definitely more than double the earlier quote). I tell him that i was quoted $4 and I was not told the estimate would change while the work was being done. The register guy says it's more because my car requires a special pcv..blah, blah. I realize it's just a few more dollars, but heck, it's the principle...it's not like they warned me ahead of time that there was a chance that it would cost more. When it was clear that they would not honor their original quote, i told them i wanted them to put back my old pcv and remove the charge completely. after some time, they tell me they already threw out my old pcv so i have to pay for the new one. Here's where i balk at the whole thing and state i'm not paying more than the original quote. I also overhear the tech yell out from the back indicating how "cheap" and ignorant the customer is. after a few minutes, they come back and tell me that they were able to locate my old pcv and that it was put back. And now, months later, I failed my smog and i have a cut PCV line. I have not had any other work done to my car since that event, so there isn't a doubt in my mind that the guys at this Jiffy lube totally f'ed me up. read more

I had to use a screw driver to remove the oil filter they put on my daughter's car. It had tool marks all over the outside of it. They must have put it on too tight on the two visits prior. So on the last visit they must have tried to remove it and could not do it so they just left the old one on there from the previous visit. read more

I stopped in to get a Transmission Fluid and Filter change. The price seemed reasonable. I had just gone to an AAMCO and the quote was a bit higher. I was told the job would take an hour. It actually took 2.5 hours. I was explained the work done, which showed 2 automatic transmission flush. I didnt ask for even 1. I was told they would pay for the first one. It was included in the price as someone else waiting had a transmission fluid change and it was much less. Hidden COSTS I drove off and got down the road a ways and I heard something dragging. I pulled over and looked under the engine and saw the plastic splash plate not put back in place with the plastic screws. I took it back to them and they said, the plastic threads were worn out. Yes, they would be because they are supposed to be unscrewed, not ripped out. They ended up putting back metal screws. I was also told I had a small dent in the tranny pan but it was not an issue. The last few days, I have been wiping up transmission fluid in the garage. I took the car back to them and they checked it out. Rob the manager told me that the pan had a dent. I said, yes, I knew it had a dent. But was told it was not any issue. He said they recommended that I had replace it, I said, no they didn't. So he asks the staff in front of me, about it and they said, yes, we told him to replace it. A total lie. It was not written on the paperwork about itThey just noted it had a dent and no recommendation of replacing it. Then he said the oil is leaking from the transmission and they didnt do anything with the transmission..REALLY? I said it was not leaking when I brought it in here to you. Possilble the flushing had something to do with it. I will be going to AAMCO to see what really happened. I may file a small claims case on them for any damage they may have done and have them pay for the repairs that AAMCO does. A real bad place to take your car. They make an error and will not back it up. POOR Customer Service. Jiffylube Corporate will be receiving a call. read more

I went to get my car smogged last year (not at jiffy lube) and it was not able to be done because a certain hose was missing. The man said it's usually removed when they replace the air filter and sometimes forgotten to put back. We would have never known the hose was missing until a smog test was required. Went back to jiffy lube to get some info about the hose/share our story for any possible insight on what we are supposed to order since THEY lost the hose in the first place. My fiancé was treated like a dishonest teenager while he explained the situation. The woman at the front laughed and repeatedly questioned his story. He was questioned "oh so you get smogged every few years?" And many workers approached "just to hear the story". Everyone had a different opinion, half the workers knew the hose was removed during the replacement and half of them disagreed calling us liars. Absolute bullshit. No one was of any help and we were made to look like fools because this store "forgot" to put the hose back during an air filter replacement. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this location, probably not another jiffy lube at all. read more

Pulled in on my way home usually use Big O Tires in Pittsburg for service but didn't want to wait till tomorrow, should have waited $88.28 for a oil change not including tire rotation or anything else but the blended synthetic oil, its about 35.00 cheaper at Big O and I get the tires rotated. I told the employees that even the Oil Change 3000 in Pittsburg was half their price. Guess they saw my point they did discount it down to $69.32 more then I am used to paying. The staff were friendly and waiting area and bathroom were clean. Would only return in emergency or if there were coupons. read more

Bad experience! Took my Camry in for oil change, first thing I did was to tell Luis, the person who performed the oil change to make sure they clean any oil left in my car after the job was done. The called me to pay the bill, again asked Luis if they water and clean any oil left in my car, he hesitated answering and went to ask the other helper, then he came back and say YES everything has been clean. SURPRISE! Next day I pulled the car out from my garage and there was oil all over the floor... My wife took the car back to them and they just said "everything was fine, we just have to clean any oil left in your car" Next time, even if I have to pay $100 dollars and wait for 2 hours, I will take my cars to Toyota dealer; sometimes you think about convenience location and a little bit of savings, but it is not worth it at all. I won't recomend this place to anybody, all the opposite, every time I have the opportunity to talk about it with my relatives and friends I will suggest them no to even intent taking their cars to this place. read more
