I had to get new tires for my truck and so I went around to get a few different estimates. After talking with Erik, he was able to find me the best deal for my truck, which requires a larger size tire. During the process of swapping out the old tires for the new, 3 out of 4 of my wheels got chewed up a little. Erik called me down to take a look and offered me a few different options to make sure they corrected the mistake. The wheels I had on my truck were extremely nice (I liked them) but they were discontinued. So we tried to see if we could get someone to repair the scratches/gouges but unfortunately they would look the same. The would end up being painted completely black, losing that milled look. After a couple weeks I called Erik back and suggested we have to go another route, which would be for them to purchase new wheels for me. And so he did. (Not the same, but some very nice ones). They took care of replacing my old wheels with the new ones and everything looked ok. A day or 2 later Erik called me because he noticed something I didn't. The lug nuts. My previous wheels had a cap over the lugs so you didn't see them. However, my new wheels don't have that, so you can see the lug nuts and they didn't look that good up against the black wheels. Erik called and offered to order me some black lug nuts to soften the appearance on my new wheels. All in all, Erik went above and beyond to take care of me and make sure all was done correctly. I went to them today. I told the sales person our car is older I do not need the best tire because we hardly drove it. It has their big foot tires on it. So we go inside and he quotes me 1100 for the tire to put on what we have. He didn't listen to me at all. They have many many tires well under 200 for it. Not the 251 each he wanted me to buy. Eric has always been great! But the short guy that works up front has ALWAYS been a total jerk! Pompas and rude! I had a nail in my tire and just needed it fixed. Granted, I came in 15 minutes before closing (what tire shop closes at 5? Most people don't even get off work till then) I was in tears because it had been a crappy day and the tire just sent me over the edge. I realize that the day I was having had nothing to do with this guy! I walked in, obviously upset and the only thing is said to me was "we close in 15 minutes". That was it. Cut me off mid sentence! Even if they were about to close, he didn't have to be a dick about it! How you treat people is a choice! Don't choose to be a dick! Unfortunately ,they could probably care less about loosing my business, it's not like they're getting rich off me, but we are a family with 5 cars that will NEVER be serviced by the Concord Big O on Clayton road again! read more

Got a flat tire issue and was worried that no place would carry the tires that my car needed given it's a relatively old car, but I was so happy to find out that this Big O Tires had them. We called to check before we were headed there, and once there we just surrendered our car key and went home. In 2 hours my car was ready. I would say the service was really quick, which I really appreciated. We replaced 2 tires even though one one had the leak issue, so that the car would be balanced. Cost was $133 per tire (July 2024) but there's also additional standard fees such as the mount & balance fee, tire disposal fee, etc. Overall it was $360 out the door. Not bad. I'm just happy the service was quick and I can use my car again :) I would use their service again in the future. read more

The quality of service I have received from Big O on Clayton Rd. has been exceptional. Due to a travel emergency I had to purchase 4 tires while in Reno. Big O was the nearest tire location. I was not to thrilled with the service or price considering my situation. About a year later while back home in Concord, I needed a tire serviced. I was assisted by Erik, the manager and Pierre P., a sales specialist. My profile did not carry over as they told me it would in Reno, but Erik and Pierre completed a local profile and serviced my tire within a 15 minute period without asking for any paperwork from Reno for my purchase. My car was an older Ford with lug nuts that were expanding and difficult to remove. The dealer wanted $200 to replace their faulty lug nuts. Erik lent me 5 lug nuts for my repaired tire while I ordered a new set online, then replaced all 20 at no charge. That was a WOW experience for me. They were friendly, knowledgeable and made sure I was completely satisfied before driving off. In all my years of dealing with tire purchases and repairs, I have to say that the service I received at this Big O location from Erik and Pierre was a step above outstanding. I went in here to get an alignment, and they took me in right away. Once they got it up, they realized it had a suspension problem that had to be fixed first. They showed me the issue and then returned the truck to me with no charge. What a class act! I will definitely be back for alignment when it needs it again. P.S. I walked out Tuesday morning to get into my car and found that the pothole on Highway 4 claimed another runflat. I've lost one on the 80, one on the 580 and one to Treat Blvd. It's obscene that we can't pave a freaking road. After calling around town I got Pierre on the phone at Big O. Instead of giving me the stock "it'll be here in three days" answer, he looked to find tires that fit my car. And he found them. He said the best he could do was the next morning, but that was way better than everyone else. As a Realtor, I drive for a living and having my wings clipped wasn't going to fly for long. My friend needed tires and I knew Big O Tires had great prices on the plus side that your tires come insured so if anything happens to you tires, you are covered. They also rotate your tires for free if you purchase your tires from them, they check you wheel alinement, and adjust your sensors on you tires. My 1998 GMC Safari needed fluids, a burnt out headlight, tires rotated, and probably a new battery. I arrived about ten minutes early and was first in at 8:30am. Pierre was the technician who set me up. He informed me that after 20-30 years he's got one more week to go before his retirement! Pierre called me about an hour and half after I dropped off my van to inform me that my van was about ready and that he was able to find another headlight and that my battery was last installed in 2007, therefore needed to replaced. My tire had a nail in it and was audibly leaking. Went to a tire shop and they said too low to repair. I ordered tires monday night. Said they would be in tuesday. I went and waited literally all day 8am to 4 pm only to hear they wont be in til friday and there's nothing they could do so I rolled around with a compressor in my truck and had to put a construction adhesive over the hole which barely worked. We called a day before and they got us in the next morning. We had some questions about the things we initially thought the car needed and felt the mechanic who assisted us was very honest and upfront. He provided us with some knowledge about new cars and his experience with our car model. He was very extremely knowledgeable, nice and honest which was very refreshing. Upside: My car was towed in with two flat tires and they took me in with no appointment. That was good. They had four tires in stock that fit my car for a reasonable price. That was good. I also purchased an oil change that was a little bit pricey, but not too bad. Downside: Their service was very slow. I waited 2.5 hours and found my car in the parking lot, still waiting for the "free alignment." I declined the alignment, paid the bill and went home. Also, they have no bathrooms for waiting customers. I'm elderly, and that is a huge problem for me. read more

Driving down the road....when SNAP...2 blown tires. I pull over...call around and have the privilege of talking to Mr Eric. He explained that they had 1 of my tires, but not both. He shares that he would call immediately and place an order for the needed tire. He was calm, helpful & thorough...during a time of high personal stress. This all happened before I called the tow truck. Exceptional service. Then after calling for tow, waiting for tow, & being towed...I finally reached the shop...around 2hrs later.
