The staff at the Florin Road is absolutely great. They are always very cordial and provide quick service. I admire how there are not sales driven and practice integrity. I needed two light bulbs install on 2013 Kia Optima: one head and one fog light. The local Hyundai and Kia dealerships would charge over $100 to install the bulbs. The Florin Road Jiffy Lube team install the bulbs for under $20. I have always been fond of The Florin Road Jiffy Lube team but this experience has really put them over the top. took my car here and about a week later I noticed the check engine light come on, but then it went off so I didn't think anything 9f it. About a week later it came back on, but a few days later it went off again. About 4 days ago it came on again and yesterday it wouldn't start, then it did, but when I tried to leave it stalled outside of the gate. So I went to return because I didn't know what was going on and it stalled again. Then again once inside the apartment complex and we had to push it to the parking space. As we were doing that we noticed a huge oil spot and leaking oil trail from the parking space to the gate. I'm thinking maybe they did not tighten the oil pan properly during the rush. We were the last car that evening and they were in a rush to close shop. I just need it looked at and at the least an oil change and bolt/screw replaced, Update: I called and spoke to the manager Deborah and she said I can have my insurance tow the car over there to have it looked at. I'll keep you guys updated. Update: My insurance towed my car to Jiffy Lube. About 2.5 hours later Reed from the Regional office called me regarding the preliminary investigation. Told me that they are doing paperwork right now, I don't think the car has actually been looked at yet. But they were looking at my mileage saying that could have had an impact on what is going on with the oil. I don't know how that could be,, but I am not very adept with car mechanics tbh. I guess we will see. I was told the investigation will go into tomorrow and either Reed or Rachel Chavez will get back to me with more. Update 3 October: Reed called me back today said they ran some tests found out there is a bulge in the oil filter. There has been damage to the engine. He is sending the damaged oil filter to be tested at their headquarters in Fairfield Ca. The test will take 7-10 to determine if this was something that was due to pre-existing issues or it happened during the installation process. He gave me his direct number in case I have any questions. I will keep you guys UTD. I must say, I feel like they are doing a very thorough investigation and I appreciate how I am being kept in the know about the process. read more

Went in last week to have my oil changed/tires rotated. While they had my tires off they let me know I had "no brakes" left and my brakes were "metal to metal." This was literally unbelievable because I had just gotten my brakes done six months ago.. they urged me to fix them and let me know they'd take care of it for six hundred dollars ? So today I drove an hour on my day off up to Yuba City to the shop I had them replaced at.. my brakes are still completely brand new (see photos). So, it's getting ridiculous at Jiffy Lube. I have used them for years, but no more. I was told AFTER my car was serviced, that they would NOT be adding brake fluid because it was "too much of a liability". I was told it might leak out again and the car might crash. NOW isn't that true of EVERY liquid they put in your car? A MAZING. If you can't get your fluids serviced at Jiffy Lube, WHY go to Jiffy Lube? I am giving 1 star because my oil change took 2 hours. I understand that it was a Saturday morning and they get busy, but it was 8am and there was only 1 car in front of me. There were 3 lanes, with 1 car being worked on per lane. I was next in my lane, yet they moved another car in front of mine which made me wait even longer. There were 6 employees working, so it shouldn't take 2 hours to change vehicles' oil. People who were waiting ahead of me were upset as well and complaining to the supervisor. Great, fast and friendly service! I have been here several time and was always treated nicely and promptly. Only complaint I have was the extra kind gesture they gave by cleaning my windows. They didn't do a good job and left a bunch of smear and streak marks. I just recently washed my car too...I'm not upset about it because I knew they were just trying to go above and beyond which I do appreciate the effort. So I called Jiffy Lube and asked for quote for a Check In Engine diagnostic and for my coolant as the reservoir was leaking. When I got there the works are attentive and even took me out to my car to see the work being done. I few hoses needed immediate attention. I told them if this stops the leaking and subsequent making my car overheat then do it. They did it and the work totaled a little over my budget, One of the workers gave me a discount code (super sweet). I drove home and didn't have any worries. That weekend I'm driving at night and my lights wouldn't come on. I thought this was strange that BOTH my headlights were out as they weren't before I went to Jiffy Lube. I said to myself "they must have forgotten to reconnect my lights." I wasn't sure how to fix the issue and end up having to have a friend come take a look for me. I was right. My lights on both sides were disconnected. This was super inconvenient as I am a LYFT driver and wanted to make some of the money back that I just spent on getting my car fixed. And I couldn't take my car in for them to fix it as it was Saturday night. And they were closed Sunday. Thankfully it was an easy connection and my friend was able to do it BUT it was extremely inconvenient for me. Oh and not to mention my coolant reservoir is low again and it was topped off when I left Jiffy Lube. Was the problem ever fixed or did they just swindle me out of a few hundred dollars? Don't ever go here for any service on your vehicle. I went there recently for a basic oil change and watched how they worked on my car. Correct me if I'm wrong but usually for a oil change they would change your oil filter. Unfortunately they did not for mines, on top of the oil fliter they did not screw my oil drain plug tight. For 2 days I wonder why I had oil leaking all over my drive way until I took it to real mechanic to work on. These mechanic's at Jiffy Lube are a joke. Dont waste your time and energy on them. Go find yourself a real mechanic that will builds a relationship with their customers, not some scandals for your money. read more

Was greeted when I pulled up, good customer service and quick oil change. Was a little disappointed that after I accidentally redeemed my 15% off for checking in while waiting for my car to be done & I couldn't even use it because I had my brought my own oil. Well if I had known that before.. I've always come here to get oil change etc but today as was not expected. Upon arrival checking in, an employee had me move my car to the slot closest to the door. Then 2 cars arrived then were behind me and that same employee told me to move to the middle slot because the car that was currently there was finishing up which wasn't true. About 1.5hr went by the 2 cars behind me got serviced then I was asked to move back to the original slot by a different employee this time. I inform the male employee that I was gathering documents to finish for my job then he suddenly started giving me an attitude for no reason and started to clown on me to his co workers which is not appropriate because I don't even know the guy. Amazing service! When I got there to get my oil changed, they got started on my car immediately. I didn't know they allow you to bring your own engine filter and oil too! That saved me a bit of money! They even checked my air filter and cabin air filter for me. I was probably only there for 30 minutes. Sorry for the late review. I went there for oil change 9 months ago and of cause they recommended me to do filter change and some extras. I said yes and let them do the filter change. Service was slow as they just standing around and talking without doing their job. And I didn't notice they broke my cover until I came back to LA and it was too far away for me to get back and settle. I can only leave a review to warn the future customers. OMG. A completely honest manager who acted against his own interest to do the right thing. I have a new car and I was bringing it in for its 5000 routine maintenance. I called places near me checking prices on what I thought I needed (an oil change, checking fluids). All quoted me a price for synthetic oil. But this guy said that unless my driving habits were unusual, I don't need an oil change until 10,000 miles. So he essentially refused my money and to change the oil, though I would have gladly paid. Took the car for an oil change yesterday. Usually when I get the oil changed somewhere all that is said to me is "regular or synthetic" He showed me on the computer the different oil services, and let me pick which one I wanted. I was able to wait inside, I think it only took ten minutes though. And I was keeping myself occupied by playing Sudoku. After it was finished, he showed me the computer again and offered the extra services they offer, and at which miles it was recommended. I never felt pressure. He didn't try to tell me I needed anything. He said a light was out and offered to change it, and after I said no that was it. I paid, and he walked me to the car. I get that everyone has bad experiences sometimes, but I had a really great experience here a couple of weeks ago. The manager (owner?) kept offering me discounts on stuff my poor, aging car needed. Discount on the more expensive oil for your high-mileage car? Done. Gave me an honest recommendation on what to do about a recommended transmission flush. Gave me a better fuel filter and for a change, my air filter was pretty much spotless so he didn't try to sell me a new one like places normally do. And at the end of a long day, one of the mechanics discovered that one of my tires was so bald I was really lucky to be alive/not have a dangerous blowout. (And that was after doing a free brake check so I could get a free tire rotation.) So they ordered me tires at a good price and put them on the next day. I also listened to the manager tell another woman he wouldn't feel right taking her money for an oil change, because she didn't need one -- she had a different problem that they couldn't necessarily fix. Very minor quibble: When I came in for my tires the next day, it took a longggg time to put them on. Other than that, the service was pretty fast the day before. This place is definitely a good place to get your oil changed and get routine maintenance done. And they will give you a discount if you're a returning customer. So I'll definitely be back with my raggedy car. read more

Service here is great! I think the price is very competitive with everyone else that's out there. Sure, could do it myself (and have) but by the time you spend on it yourself, cost of filters, then you have to deal with disposing of the oil...might as well spend a little extra $$ and save yourself the headache. This location has the best service. I have an older car (10yrs old) with over 200k miles in it. Although the high mileage package is a little steep, their Top Off service definitely makes its worth. I can go weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly and they top off all fluids (windshield fluid, coolant, oil) complimentary! And since my older car naturally uses fluids quicker, I take advantage of it often. Because of this, I only do my oil change 2-3x a year (they also give 50% every 3rd service if you are in their rewards program) In addition to their Top Off policy, they also check my tires air pressure, clean windows, and vacuum the floor every time they service my car. They are always frank and honest about my car's condition, give helpful recommendations, but never high pressure. Quick, convenient, and if youre like me who doesn't like dealing or knows little about cars, this is a place you can trust. read more

I never write reviews, but Josh and his team were great. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Through no fault of their own (my car is older), a tire pressure sensor was damaged. They took my car to America's Tire, got the replacement piece, and replaced it free of charge. Since it would take over an hour to fix, Josh offered to drive me back to my office, and pick me up. Wasn't expecting that level of customer service, and super appreciated it! Efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Definitely will be back. read more

We had just come back from a road trip and normally I take my vehicle to get serviced at the dealership. However, in an effort to save time and not have to wait until the following week to make an appointment. I decided to go to this location today. Although, I give high marks to the employee that performed my oil change. Kudos to you! I am incredibly disappointed that we were lied to about the oil that was used. I paid for full synthetic oil. And before paying my boyfriend asked one more time what brand of oil was used to the counter guy (who may be the owner). I just don't like being lied to period. When I looked over my paper work. I noticed a different oil brand was listed and my next serviced was changed from 10,000 miles to 5,000 miles which is why we asked what type of oil was used in the first place. Long story short. I love this place, and they do a lot more than just changing your oil too. Twice now I have also gotten some fairly major repairs done here, changing a tensioner and a fuel pump. The staff are all very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain several different options to you for your car care, all with out pressure. Along the lines of "We recommend A for these reasons, but you also have options B and C etc." They really go above and beyond with customer service and the quality of their work. I highly recommend this shop, especially Dave who has done quite a lot of very good work on my car. I have to change my review due to the fact that after posting this review an hour later the regional general manager (Reid Wilkie) called me. I found this interesting since I don't have my name posted on my Yelp, yet he knew exactly who to call. He informed me that my experience here wasn't acceptable and he wanted to make things right and he absolutely did. He apologized and let me know that he had heard me and how upset I was and why exactly I was upset. That alone would have been good enough for me, but he also reimbursed me for the entire charge there even when I told him that wasn't necessary. Reid, I appreciate you a lot for doing the right thing and caring about your customers enough to reach out to them afterwards on what must not be the most pleasant call (upset customers is never fun I know) read more

My experience at Florin location was an awesome first impression and great professional service. I don't drive much so it had been a while since my last oil change. My grandbabies tear up my back seat, disabled I am not able to vacuum so I was thrilled that they vacuumed, gave me a full assessment without any pressure to up sell beyond the reasonable. I found a coupon on their website. I tried a few times to get an oil change on the fly over the last 6 months in other parts of town and was told it would be hours. This Jiffy Lube is awesome!! I did an oil change myself on my car and I had forgotten about the washer on the oil drain plug! I know. I know. I didn't feel like doing all the work again to put in a washer. I had called in and told them what happened and see how much they'll charge. I was quoted $10-$20 but no more than $20. I took my car in and they put in a new washer and even topped off my oil for free of charge! Even though I didn't do my oil change with them! First time at this Jiffy Lube location. The service went pretty quick. Only waited about an hour from check in to paying. I love how the workers there provide insight on recommendations for your car overall whether it be from topping off fluids or going into depth with the performance of your vehicle. The only reason for four stars and not five, is maybe having someone who speaks better English at the front desk. This way it's more clear and precise on what needs to be fixed and what exactly they will be doing to your vehicle. read more
