Normal jiffy lube screwed (in Burke) didn't tighten the oil filter and I was leaking oil for a while before I noticed and when I went back to give them the opportunity to fix it there were eleven cars waiting - no thanks!! Called ahead to this location and they said they had only one person in line so I drove over to this location in Fairfax. I was greeted by Myrna and she was polite and had great customer service skills; she told me the manager went to check found the oil leak from the filter being loose and then after my oil changed the manager re-checked to make sure everything was right! I showed up here at 9:30 on a Friday with only one other person in the waiting room. After having me sit down and wasting my time, someone came into the waiting room and asked me if I had a lot of free time to wait. I don't understand why they would have me sit in the waiting room before telling me that it was a long wait. Also, it makes no sense that it would be a long wait with one person in the waiting room on a weekday morning. I recently went to Jiffy Lube for a simple oil change, but my experience ended up being frustrating. When they inspected my car, they recommended additional services like a tire rotation and replacing the cabin air filter. I never asked them to check or touch the cabin air filter in the first place. After my service was completed, I immediately noticed that my heater started making a loud humming noise--something that was not happening at all before I came in. I brought this to their attention before leaving, and I was told the noise was due to leaves in the cabin air filter. While I understand that buildup can cause issues, it's extremely frustrating that I came in for one basic service and left with a new problem that didn't exist before. To make matters worse, I was told I would need to go to the dealership to have the cabin air filter area cleaned, which will cost me additional money. I don't think it's fair to leave with a new issue and then be told to pay even more to fix it. Overall, this experience was disappointing. Upon arriving the associate took me in quickly and asked me a few questions synthetic oil change and tire rotation was completed within 40 minutes of my arrival. I came here over a week ago to get my oil changed. Service was good. They were quick. Then my check engine oil light started going on and off. It actually came on the last time I got my oil changed here. I went back today to have them check the oil level and turn off my warning light. They only had one bay open. Fine. They were probably short staffed. They took over an hour to work on one guy's car. He was actually still there when I walked out and expressed concern for it taking so long. After I got there, two more cars had arrived and were waiting. After being there for over an hour they took in the car that had come in 20 minutes after me. Normally I go to the dealership for oil changes and end up waiting for hours. On the recommendation of a friend, I came here for an oil change. I was the only car at the time, so they were quick with servicing my car. Total time waiting was definitely less than half an hour. I will definitely come back here for my next oil change. I know the jingle like the back of my hand but for the life of me I had never been to an actual Jiffy Lube...until today! I was running errands with my mother when she realized that she needed to get her oil topped off. Because she goes to Jiffy Lube on a regular basis she mentioned that all maintenance was free in between services. She drove in and was met with SO many smiles. Like literally every single person working in that garage had a million watt smile and was as pleasant as can be. Alex was our service person and explained that the whole process would take five minutes. When he realized my mom has a digital car reader (sorry don't know the technical term) he took a further look at the car and realized a few additional things needed to be done and looked at. Throughout the whole process he updated us with wait times and explained the process the whole way through. He was so thorough, so detailed, and so helpful. I've been going here for the past 2 years. Won't go here again after my last service. They had trouble removing my oil filter so they rushed the rest of the oil change. Didn't let the oil drain nearly enough as I could watch from inside the waiting room. Then they added the standard amount so my car now has too much oil in it which can damage an engine. Also, they rev up your engine to high rpms right after changing the oil. Can't be good for the car with cold oil and never had someone do that with an oil change before. On a busy day, it took 30 minutes from me pulling in to pulling out. Staff is nice, fast, and not pushy. While they show you the filter and offer to swap it out, they don't make it sound like your car will blow up if you don't change it on the spot. The waiting area is nice--free wifi, TV turned to local news, cushy leather office chair seating. Great fast place to get your oil changed. read more

My brother went here to get an oil change this past Sunday and when he left he noticed that the receipt had "Covid19" written in customer signature spot. We are asian by the way and the manager is white. When he returned to the location and asked the manager Michael M. if he did that he admitted that he did. Unfortunately, this is the closest Jiffy Lube to me that does brakes, so I made my 45 minute drive here from Arlington in after work rush hour to get them inspected. Good thing I came, because I had to get my rotors changed out. I was told it would be a long wait, and it was...stayed here til way past closing to get them done, but I am glad that they were able to do it, so it would save me another trip. When I first called they said I would probably not be able to get brakes fixed if I came in at 5:30pm, but they did it for me! Granted....I was here until 8:30pm..... Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and dedicated to what they do. They were apologetic for the wait, but I'm just glad my brakes are fixed up! I rarely have bad experiences with Jiffy Lube--this is another great location. read more

For a quick service oil change, they do a good job, but not terribly inexpensive. Much more inexpensive oil changes in the area, but not nearly as quick as Jiffy Lube. One of my biggest pet peeves about Jiffy Lube is that they always try to upsell you and get you to commit to something else. Last time I took my daughter's car in, they sold me on an upcharge oil change and an air filter. An air filter is something that I can usually do by myself. Again, quick service, but could do without the upsell everytime I go in. It isn't only this location that tries an upsell, it seems to be all Jiffy Lube locations. read more

Another WOW, AMAZING EXPERIENCE! They changed my oil, replaced the oil filter, and replaced my air filter which they showed me and it was disgusting. Checked my wipers blades, they even Vacuumed the inside of my car. Washed interior windows, checked my brake fluid, exterior lights, and so much more. These 3 gentlemen: Ardit, Bruce, Jacob and the rest of the guys there were great, respectful, helpful, knowledgeable. I keep going back there because of the great experience, and guys like them. I've been coming to this location for a few years but recently the service has taken a steep decline. They replaced my lights and the rubbering surrounding my light came undone during the replacement. I asked them if they could fix the issue as the rubbering was fine prior to the replacement. There was an older gentlemen that worked there and said I need to go to a body shop. While they may be the case, the technicians are the ones that created the problem. In addition, I have a sinking suspicion that work patrons pay for is not always done as I checked the oil filter after and it did not appear to be brand new. This location can do better and I hope that they do soon. read more

I gave them a call beforehand asking if they were able to flush out my power steering fluid and they told me it was $79.99 so I decided to drive all the way to their location only to be told that isn't something they do and that I should go see a mechanic for something like that. Either the person on the phone didn't know what I was talking about and gave me a price for something else, or they didn't care for my business. Came here to have an oil change because I saw a coupon - manager denied it. Then they asked if I wanted to have an air filter change. Great I did. Right away, when I turned on my radio, my speakers started making loud scratching sounds. I think they hated me or something, maybe racists, who knows. But my car (bought brand new) now has speakers that don't work from time to time. I cannot turn on the bass setting and even still, it makes a loud high pitch sound from the speakers. They messed up some wiring while changing my air cabin filter near the globe compartment. Stay away from this unprofessional place. read more

In this case it was the total dishonesty and sticky fingers of this shop that warranted a bad review. I've been a repeat customer at this shop for 2 years, during lots of construction I have continued to patronize this shop without incident. Yesterday 5/14/19 around 12pm I went in to service my work vehicle...during the usual up charge review discussion the service rep kept telling me the technicians are reporting my wipers need replacing, having just replaced them 3 weeks ago myself I knew this to be false but it was insistently implied that The technician said otherwise. Once service was complete the rep walked to my car and said I'm going to check for myself...he did and then said "the tech must've bumped his head they are new" End of story-sketchy but not worth reporting but fast forward to today....again a work vehicle that I am the only one in, I went to check for some cash I have for emergency situations and sure enough someone from the shop had some sticky fingers and swiped $25. Obviously they needed it more than me, but the fact that they were originally being Dishonest and then finding out they stole from me means I will never frequent this shop in fairfax again! read more

As a woman it is always a challenge to get honest service when having my car worked on. I firmly believe that mechanics see a woman and think they don't know about cars and can easily be taken advantage of. All I wanted was an oil change..how hard could that be? The woman who talks to customers about the service needed on their cars is extremely rude. She talked so fast I couldn't keep up with her..she ran through a list of things (my dip stick was dry, I needed upgraded oil, I needed a special engine treatment, air filter was filthy (not), etc,, etc.). When I asked her to slow down and told her that I only wanted the basic oil change she proceeded to talk down to me and brushed me off. I had also asked the mechanics if they could look at my exhaust as it seemed loud. The manager came out and informed me that I had a leak. When I asked if I would just need a patch or what..he rudely said "I have no idea, I don't do exhaust". Rudeness was all in his tone. He easily could have explained that Jiffy Lube doesn't offer that service and perhaps recommend somewhere nearby. I friend recommended the Jiffy Lube and Vienna and repeatedly said how professional and nice the staff was--I should have listened--and will going forward. I will not bring my business to this Jiffy Lube location ever again. Buyer beware. For the record, I rarely leave negative reviews but this establishment compelled me to leave a review to warn other customers. From what I was told by this establishment they are a franchise..I certainly hope the owner takes a look at these reviews. read more

These guys are really great. Everytime I come I am immediately assisted and my car is finished under an hour. They never try to force me into buying anything and are able to answer any questions I have. They run through a check list with you at the end of your appointment so you can see exactly what they did. The prices are very reasonable and they even clean your car for you! The best part is how friendly everyone is. They are always opening doors for you and pointing out everything in the waiting room ("Here is a tv for you to watch and coffee for you to drink!" Had a really good experience at this jiffy lube. They were able to professionally identify that my car brakes lacked a spring, which explained the grating I had been hearing while driving. They gave me a competitive price on fixing it. And they did an excellent job on the oil change, tire rotation, and inflating of my tires to where they should be. I recently moved to the Fairfax area and wasn't sure where to go for an oil change and I happened to pass this Jiffy Lube the other day. I figured I might as well... and WOW. I left my house at 8:20, drove down the street, got an oil change and was back home before 9:00. I drove up, they directed me in, told me exactly what to do (I love people that are pleasant and give me direction, without being pushy- "Good morning! Welcome to Jiffy Lube! Please leave your key in the ignition and have a seat in the waiting room. Help yourself to coffee and the news is on.") and walked me to the door. They had magazines in the waiting area and a news program was on. The bathroom didn't smell and looked clean (yay!) and there was also a pot of coffee by the TV. Since I was a first time customer, they asked me to step outside to give them some information and they were respectful and friendly the whole time, telling me to watch my step and even when they were trying to sell me things (and none of the people there gave me the weird creepy stalker vibe... hooray!). I really liked the fact that when they tried to make a sale and I declined, they didn't make me feel like I was dooming the whole world in turning them down, like other places have tried to make me feel. I was very surprised after about 15 minutes that they told me my car was ready! (I'm used to getting there when a place opens and waiting an infinite amount of time. I used to get service done at Mazda, where I bought the car- incompetence! I sat around for over 3 hours once- when I had an appointment and it was just a simple oil change!, or at the firestone in mclean, would sit for 2 hours and when my car was ready, have them tell me there were "major issues- and we strongly recommend these measures be taken"- which involved over $1,000 of things I KNOW didn't need to be done...) I think this is my longest review ever- and for an auto place no less! Anyway- highly recommended for fast, professional, courteous service! read more

You had one job! They put the wrong oil in my car. I have a 2011 VW. It's not a big mystery what the manufactuer recommends. I didn't find out until a few days later when I had a warning light display on my car.
