I first visited another service center to get my oil change and they struggled opening my hood and told me they couldn't help me. I went to Jiffy Lube and not only did they open the hood they corrected the issue. The cost was the lowest that I have paid in years! I was in and out in 20 min or less. I dont understand how you can give a quote (which the guy i spoke with once I got there told me he was the one to do the quote) then when I risk driving my car with no serpentine belt there just to tell me they dont have anyone there that does serpentine belts?? Then takes a personal phone call. Smirked and mumbled while I asked questions. Which he couldnt give me a solid answer on anything. Seems just ready to leave and didnt care about customer service. I'm a single mom who works full time and goes to school. I don't have time to change my own oil and my man lives out of state. So naturally. I want to go somewhere to get my oil changed. On this day I was about to fly out to my man's graduation from school which meant I wanted my oil changed since I had the time before flying out of state. I came here as soon as they opened because I didn't want to wait. The guy working there made eye contact and kept the door locked after it should have opened..... so I waited while holding my baby for the employee to come to the door. And he actually HID.... So I walked around the building figuring maybe he's slow and didn't notice me..... I found a door that was open and I walked inside. And the employee was now ignoring me from the office. So I projected my voice and said "good morning" he came out and said "what do you want?" I was taken aback. "I would like to pay to get my oil changed." And he ACTUALLY SAID "no else is here and I don't want to do it. Go find somewhere else" I was kind of appalled. Because typically jiffy is the place to go. But if I were you. Just go to Walmart. They're nicer and there's a better way to spend your time while waiting. I went shopping for groceries and got a suitcase. read more

I used to work for the local Jiffy lube franchised by Mike Day. I was a brakes and service technician Olathe their 610 store and I assisted with shift coverage at the 17 location. This was back in 2014. What the hell happened? There were only 2 people working in the store and after speaking with them it sounds like they are struggling incredibly badly. They were very nice but stretched thin. I remember working in a fully staffed store and the pace was great. 10 minute oil change tops. I'm a bit disappointed with the management for allowing it to get to this point. But times change and no one wants to be stuck as a lube tech. The high schooler working there that served me was polite and very apologetic about the wait time. Consider calling ahead and ask for a wait time before you pull in. They may not get to you right away. read more

I've been going to this Jiffy Lube franchise 1-2 times per year since 2005. NEVER AGAIN! And never again to Jiffy Lube. On my most recent visit, they couldn't find me in their computer 'system'. I doubt they looked. The on-site manager insisted my car maker required I use synthetic oil - a lie. I use synthetic anyway but am super sensitive that they are putting the pricey stuff in my car... The three technicians (that's a joke) actually mostly stood around 'jaw-jacking' when they were supposed to be giving me the famous Signature Service. The sign with Jiffy Lube's 16 (or 19) checklist services is nowhere to be found in the bay. Nor is it on flyers in the Waiting Room. I watched as the manager and the service techs mainly lolly gagged. The items they DID accomplish were: 1) Changed Oil; 2) Changed Oil Filter; 3) Checked & Changed Air Filter; 4) Topped off Window Washer Fluid. These very minimal items took the better part of an hour with no one else competing for their time. They then drove my car out of the bay signifying it was done and the manager came in to check me out. I protested, "Ya'll aren't done!" to which the manager got very hostile and asked me what they hadn't done. I said, "You're expecting me to pay the premium price of $116 for Synthetic oil on your Signature Service, and I didn't get Signature Service." The manager was now aggressively/almost physically threatening when he asked what they hadn't done. I went down the long list on the receipt in front of me of the items they DID NOT accomplish: "You did not: 1) Vacuum; 2) Lubricate Chassis; 3) Check Differential Fluid..." That left 14 more checklist items undone... though billed and paid for. The manager interrupted me, and aggressively threw up his hands storming out muttering threats and leaving me with the unpaid receipt. Shortly, a second employee came in calling me 'Boss' in a totally obsequious way as if to mollify me. He asked me what my problem was and what they still needed to do. I told him they full well knew what they hadn't done. They hadn't done anything on the 16 point Signature Service checklist. Many of those items btw have a vehicle safety element to them. Not completed by Jiffy Lube even though checked off as OK or COMPLETED. And paid for by me as part of the $116 Synthetic Oil Signature Service. I've contacted the BBB, and written several negative reviews now. A Jiffy Lube regional manager contacted me saying all the right things and saying he would get back to me to make the service right at a different store. That has not happened. So, he dropped the ball. I WILL NEVER go to Jiffy Lube again! The worst part of this is that I am absolutely convinced there was a RACIAL ANGLE to my mistreatment. And to the not so subtle threats of physical aggression and employee anger directed against me. Customer BEWARE! read more

On 10/23/18 I went to get a standard oil change for my Prius. Everything seemed fine upon check out and I left to go home. On my way home, my car started flashing a light that signaled low engine oil pressure and I started to smell smoke. When I got home not only was I smelling smoke but I could visibly see smoke in the car. My husband opened up the hood and a billow of smoke came from the engine. Looking in, we could see that all of the oil had leaked out and got all over the under carriage, the tires, and my passenger door. We called Jiffy Lube and explained the situation and the associate said he needed to ask permission to leave and come to us and check things out. He calls back 10 minutes later saying it was approved and that he was coming to us. My husband then gave him step by step directions to our house. It took him FORTY MINUTES to get to us when our house is 1.8 miles from the service location. At that point, the oil had been seeping into the concrete of our driveway for about an hour, staining it. After about 10-15 minutes the guy concluded that the O ring was not in its proper place within one of the grooves and that caused all of the oil to leak out. He added more oil at the house and my husband drove the car back to the service location so they could redo the oil change, check to make sure everything was actually done properly, and wash the car for the trouble. My husband spent another hour at the location while they did this. When I got the car back I could still see oil dripping from the under carriage onto the driveway creating even more stains we later had to scrub out. I believe the "car wash" was just them squirting some water under the vehicle. The next day when I drove to work, my car still had smoke visible and had a strong smoke smell. This led me to believe that there was still some residual oil underneath the vehicle, proving their have ass attempt at a car wash. Honestly, I was afraid to drive the car. Jiffy Lube failed to do something as simple as an oil change and half assed their so called "remedy" for the situation. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ever go to ANY Jiffy Lube location! I know I won't make that mistake again and I'll make sure my friends and family don't either. read more

Staff can use some additional training...the language from some of the guys is not for the small child. There were at least 5 employees working, between the smoke breaks I was out in just under an hour. Oil Change was over 100.00. You are not leaving without additional hidden charges...Everyone gets charged for additional oil even if it is a half of a quart. Though when they checked to oil level no additional oil was add to anyone's car while I was there. Oil is added from a bucket and not from the original containers...so for all I know you could be getting recycled oil. Not good business practice. Jiffy Lube has always been my last resort...but I think I will wait before ever visiting a jiffy lube again...too expensive and not worth the money. read more

Stopped here to have my car serviced as I was going out of town last Friday and didn't have time to do it myself. It started out OK when they asked if I wanted there signature oil service? I said sure. When It was time to check out I paid there price of 43.00 and went to get in my car when I noticed they hadn't vacuumed very well missing both driver side and passenger side front floor mats, still had dirt in between the seat and the door jams, when I mention it to the manager he just acknowledged that I had spoken but never offered to fix the problem. So when I left, I stopped as always and shut the car off for a few moments and checked the oil myself as Jiffy Lube has under/over filled my engine before. The oil was an inch over full, come on now, they put a full mark on the dip stick for a reason. So I drove back around and told the manager about my problem. He checks the oil while the car is outside on an incline and proceeds to say it looked good to him. I said your not going to get a good reading sitting outside on the slope. After about 5 minutes he gets the suction hose out and proceeded to suck out some of the oil, not know how much to suck out as the car is leaning down hill. He sends me on my way again. Frustrated about the whole thing I give up trying to talk to him and stop later to check to oil and had to put some back in at my own expense. That really sucks also cause I already paid for the first oil now got to pay again. read more

Alert, Alert!!!! Do NOT send our kids there or anyone else for that matter. I sent my son in for his first oil change. They tried to talk him into $300 worth of crap. He said he felt like he needed to, that they made him feel like his car was in trouble if he didn't. He needed wipers, which we said to buy at WalMart. The guy told him they could do both for $31, which is still too much. Turns out they charged $60 for both. $60 for wipers for a Hyundai Accent? GTFO!!! Teach those pirates a lesson where it hurts. The wallet. Go anywhere but there. And, guys, whatever you do, don't send your wives or daughters... If they can do this to my con, no doubt the pressure will really be laid on thick with them. my brake light was out, they put a new one in pretty quickly! there is just one problem they put the wrong light in, so my indicator kept coming on, so for a while i thought it was electrical, maybe i had to reset it, so i took it to another shop, yup they put the wrong bulb in didn't match the other one.
