I really hate to give bad reviews; I understand bad experiences normally tend to be more voiced than positive ones. The service was bad, they guy behind the counter was not very friendly, I waited for my services wayyyyyyy longer than I usually do at other Jiffy Lubes. After waiting a lifetime the wait was extended by a problem a customer had with the workers there. Began to tell the guy what i wanted and he interrupted me saying he only needed the key to do some kind of inspection. I guess he was gonna tell me what i wanted. I've been to this place about six times simply because I live nearby. Their service is way too expensive and they really pressure you to buy extra services. The final straw for me was when they came to me with a filthy cabin air filter and told me I had to replace it --- at quite a high price. I refused. Later I went to a local auto supply store and found two disturbing facts: 1. The price at the store was waay less and, 2. The filter I was shown was NOT the filter for my car! I then popped open my glove compartment and removed my cabin air filter which was a totally different size and shape from the one Jiffy Lube showed me AND mine was actually quite clean! I will never go back to them. I found, down the road in Lodi, right off Route 99, Lodi Tire which did the same oil change service quickly and much less expensively. read more

Hello Took my car in for Oil change, which they did and also checked the Air on my tires and the normal stuff they do. I notice once i got on the road the from leaving them that my Low tire pressure light came on. I'm thinking okay they took some air out of it and the sensors on the tire detected the low pressure. So got home and air them back up and notice when i Pulled out of my Garage that there was Oil Spots all over where i just had pulled in. I thinking someone did not re tighten the drain plug or the let a lot drip out. !! will be going back tomorrow and and have them correct the issue with the Oil which they should have notice all the oil when they had it in there bay!! dripping. Stopped in to get an oil change. The guy at the front counter couldn't even tell me the price up front said they had to pull my vehicle around first to check everything. Then another gentlemen came in and started discussing the cost of oil and tire rotation. Their prices are outrageous and I can get the price of both and a car wash at Honda for a lower cost than their oil change. I then told him never mind I will just go elsewhere and then he told me that they may have already started draining my car. Which, I have not even picked my service yet. They then pulled it to the front AND once I drive away noticed that they had drained 7% of my oil that was left. Bet they thought I didn't notice. Will never go here or recommend this place. I had an oils filter that was IMPOSSIBLE to remove after taking it to several other places, I decided to try one more time and take it to my local Jiffy Lube. Rav, Red and Jared we so very helpful! Like other shops prior, they unfortunately were unable to remove the filter without a special tool. They referred me next door to have them help me as they had the tools readily available. Today I decided to change it myself and when I took off the oil filter you could tell that they haven't change it for a while. So basically I been paying for a oil filter that they never change. Every time I ask them if they change the oil filter they said yes we did. They are bunch of liars and scammers. read more

This is one of the best Jiffy Lubes I've been to! The staff is super friendly, they make recommendations, but don't pressure you to buy extra and were so nice to me & my kids. It was quick & friendly- we were in-and-out in no time. They weren't judgmental about me being long overdue for the oil change. Had issues today with my Dodge ...one being a dead battery. The manager Lawrence actually went to my house, jump started my battery & helped me get to the shop. Do not go to this place unless you want to pay more than a dealer charges. It was my own fault and I have nobody else to blame, but I paid about $40 more than I did at the Toyota place for the previous oil change and tire rotation. I didn't pay attention - again my fault. Bottom line, the in-house customer service that you receive while waiting is phenomenol. They offer you water, coffee, and air conditioned area with TV for viewing work done on your vehicle. It is really an excellent business model. Howver, I am going to have to ding them on a technicality. I had a 'Check Engine' light appear on my car after work one day. I went through a lot of hassle dealing with this issue. (Check my review on Brian's Automotive). The reservoir cap had been left halfway screwed on which cause the reservoir to nearly empty out! I have been here at least 3 or 4 times. I have NEVER had this happen before. I will give them another chance, it is just my nature, I strongly believe this was an innocent mistake. When I return, I will however, let them know what happened. This could been a disaster and ruined my vehicle. I just recently crossed the 100,000 mile mark. I love this car. I will try them again, if the consistency of great service and product returns I will consider updating my review. read more

On July 26, 2016 I had my oil and oil filter changed, I asked Brooke about checking my tire pressure, she said that they check all the tires and bring the pressure up to manufacture recommendation's. As I waited for my vehicle to finish I noticed on the T.V. in the waiting room that Jiffy Lube is to vacuum the interior, wash the windows and check the air pressure in your tires. The only thing I received was a bill for $48.59 NO VACUUM, NO WINDOWS WASHED AND NO TIRE PRESSURE CHECKED. I was going to write Corporate Office but could find and address. My wife have been taking our four cars to Jiffy Lube for the past few years and until today had no issues. My son took his car there today and even though I told him not to purchase anything but the oil change, he felt pressured into purchasing fuel system clean-out for $79 which was not an absolute necessity and can be done for a fraction of the cost by our personal mechanic. I think a close look at ethical business practices is in order for that store and all others in the chain, especially when dealing with teenage drivers and their cars. read more

A little expensive but worth it. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. Everyone was very polite, friendly and professional. We were greeted immediately, escorted to the waiting area and offered cold bottled water. They did a full inspection of belts, air filter, wiper blades, etc. then gave us the results and choice of which oil we wanted. They then did the oil change, cleaned the windows and vacuumed our truck. We live in the country so our truck was really dirty so I was impressed they vacuumed it. They do work on the up-sell but hey, it's thier job and they have a business to make profitable. Great job TEAM GALT! read more

Had my oil changed this morning, and it was quick and the same price had I done it myself. The employees were quick to greet me, offer me water/coffee, and while they did ask me about additional services, were not pushy. The whole process took less than thirty minutes. I was taken to my car once it was finished, where all the employees shouted thanks for coming, and made sure everything started fine. I have had issues here before......whats with the 29.99 lube sign out front then charge me 44 dollars!....They also lost my windshield wiper fluid cap....they are always saying I am a quart low on my antifreeze coolant......fill the f-er up....dont I get free top offs?........ps....my battery cable connection is corroded...you missed that one....never the same peeps working there......hmmmmm? read more

I went to Jiffy Lube because my pan plug bolt rounded off and I couldn't get it (Usually I do my own services). I called and asked if they could take it off for me. They said, "no problem, bring a quart of oil with you so we can top it off after we swap the plug." I figured that since it would be there anyways, why not have them service it for me. I pulled up and was given a quote for $0. They said they would not charge me if they could not get it off. I thought, "wow, that is super nice." Well, they could not get it off and recommended that I go to a full service repair shop to have the repairs taken care of. He then handed me a drain plug that was better than the stock replacement and he wouldn't let me pay for it. They pulled my car out for me, and to my surprise, they had also checked the tire pressure and washed my windows. The representatives of this business were amazing. If I wasn't moving 2 hours from Galt, I would definitely do business with them again in the future. read more

I sent my 17 year old son to get an oil change on our Honda Civic. It was the first time he did anything like this on his own, so I told him it should cost around $30 and they will change the oil filter and the oil...nothing more. Well, the actual oil change cost $39.99(a little more expensive than some other places), but then they convinced him that he needed TWO additional filters, which, my husband had actually already CHANGED A MONTH AGO! So, they COULDN"T have been that dirty, like they told my son they were. AND THEN, the guy told him his brake light was out. So, ONE HUNDRED AND TWO DOLLARS LATER......my son leaves the place feeling totally confused, but convinced that was what his car needed. I am SO UPSET with this business! I was so happy when they opened because I thought that now, I won't have to drive all the way to Elk Grove or Lodi to get my car serviced. Well, now I know that they figure they can totally take advantage of us since its close to home and they figure we won't go anywhere else. WRONG! I will just continue doing business in Elk Grove at DIFFERENT lube places because these guys can't be trusted. On the bright side, my son learned a valuable lesson which didn't cost us an arm and a leg. He learned that people that run reputable businesses will actually try and take advantage of people, if you let them, and that no one can be trusted. I highly suggest to never go to this location unless you want to have to babysit there employees! I had my oil changed here a few months back. We told them what kind of oil and they gave us a price. It was high, but we went ahead and said okay. After it was all done we went to ring up and the price was higher than what they originally quoted and we discovered they had put the wrong oil in my car, great. So they said they would change it to the right oil and we went ahead and paid. When it was finished they said they topped off all of the fluids, so we checked and they had not topped off my fluids. When we confronted them, they said oh we must have forgot. So they then topped off the fluids. So here we are two months later, I'm getting my car checked at a different shop and they informed me that I have the wrong oil in my car! So not only did they put the wrong oil in once, but twice! And they can't even be trusted because they say they've done something, when in fact they haven't. I will never give them my business again and suggest that unless you want to babysit every step they take, you shouldn't either. read more
