I recently got an oil change at Jiffy Lube, and while the service itself was fine, I won't be returning. The process was quick and efficient, but I ended up being charged a few extra bucks for shop materials more than what I expected based on what was actually used. With my shop experience, I know that a proper work order should be created with an estimate of shop materials and then updated with a modified number at end of something changed. It also is supposed to be signed before any work is done on your car, and that simply wasn't done here. Although it was only a few dollars extra, the lack of transparency in the process left a bad taste in my mouth. Next time, I'll be looking for a shop that follows standard procedures and is more upfront about their costs. read more

I had a highly satisfactory service experience at this location very recently. (Synthetic oil change and tire rotation.) GM Eliseo and his staff treated me and my vehicle very well. No complaints whatsoever. The facility is modern, clean, comfortable. (Two thumbs up, Eliseo, for keeping the video monitor in the waiting area mostly muted!) I had my services done at this location due to the very hands-on intervention from Jiffy Lube management in response to a negative review of my experience a week earlier, at a different Jiffy Lube facility. I hope that any future dealings I have with this location will be as positive (not having management be involved). Avoid This Oil Change Facility at All Costs! I recently had the displeasure of visiting Jiffy Lube at Campbell & Shiloh Rd in Garland for what was supposed to be a routine oil change, but it turned into a nightmare I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. After waiting for 1hr 15 min I was notified nonchalantly that they drained my TRANSMISSION Fluid instead of My MOTOR OIL, the manager turned and walked off leaving me sitting there. I spoke up and asked him to repeat himself and he takes out his phone and shows me how close the two drains are and that I will need to file a claim. He then walks off again. I was told that the store manager would call me the next day. I WALKED home that day after taking my $40K dollar vehicle in for a routine oil change. I PAID to have my car towed to the dealership, I PAID for the rental car. Jiffy Lube Case #00389064 - Store #3763. He told me to call him once the dealership had the transmission fluid filled and he would pay the bill. He said I would be reimbursed for the tow truck and the rental car. It has been over 1 month and Justin did pay to have my transmission fluid filled, I have asked for the insurance information 3 times and he and the store ignores the requests. He has now ghosted me after requesting all of my banking information (Routing and account number). The only thing I submitted was a $249.50 rental car invoice since my car was at the dealership for over 10 days. I didn't ask for the tow truck to be reimbursed or my time i had to take off work to fix the damage caused by this location. I still need an oil change as they did not do it, I am still owed for the rental car reimbursement and not one person has apologized for all i have had to go through because i chose to go to them for a routine oil change. Overall, my experience at Jiffy Lube at Campbell & Shiloh Rd in Garland was nothing short of a disaster. From the appalling customer service to the shoddy workmanship and ABSOLUTLEY NO CUSTMER SERVICE there is absolutely no reason to subject yourself or your vehicle to such incompetence. I'm not normally handing out 5 stars, but given the situation with Covid19, I felt they did above and beyond to take care of me. I had an oil and filter change, and I could see they were conscientious and methodical in their work. They did all the work they were allowed to do as far as cleaning up my vehicle and apologized they could not vacuum it. They also all wore gloves at all times, and the store was spotless. The staff were all friendly and seemed to understand that good CS is important to the health of any business. I will be back as long as they keep up these excellent business practices. read more

Team member accidentally broke 2 air pressure sensors on my car. I had to take it to the dealership to be fixed and was told to bring the receipt for reimbursement. Fast on inspections and oil changes. Will do business again. The employees were professional.

Do not let them do any mechanic work!!!they're not knowledgeable, they couldn't even change spark plugs, they broke the new ones they put in. It took them over 3 hours to do it. When I left, the car would barely run, the check engine light came on. I took it back and the tech supposedly tightened one of the spark plugs. They told me to bring it on Monday morning and they will go over it. I was there at 8am and was told the tech wouldn't be there until after 1:30 pm. I came back on Tuesday and left it. They said the valve cover gasket was leaking oil and that it needed grommets replaced. They quoted me a cost of 250.00, depending on how long it took. Well, they managed to take it apart, break several parts and then obviously couldn't handle the job, but wouldn't admit it, just never worked on it again. After 4 days of calling every day and getting the same story of being too busy and didn't have time to work on it. I ended up having it towed to Brakes Plus on Jupiter and Campbell rd. Where they fixed it in less than 24 hours of receiving it late on Friday. They had it ready by 2 pm on Saturday. I will NEVER AGAIN use Jiffy Lube for anything!!! By the way they cost me another $1700.00 to fix everything they screwed up!!! read more

Pros: The bigger gentlemen that cashed me out and walked me to my car is a great guy. He was thorough with his job, but didn't try to force anything on you like ive had some people do in some shops. And as far as the maintenance side of things- they are quick. Which is nice. But beware... Cons: they NEVER put my brake reservoir cap back on.. who knows we're that highly corrosive stuff went in my engine bay. And it surely needs a change now.. Slow them down. The guys (and gal) here are amazing. Customer service is at its max at this location, so much so that I brought both cars for oil changes (and misc other stuff) on the same day! From the time you drive up, someone comes OUTSIDE(!) to greet you with a smile. Every employee I encountered was genuinely nice and listened to my concerns. They answered all my questions and didn't pressure to purchase any upgrades although they offered several options. They cleaned the windows, topped off all fluids and walked me through all the checklist items they inspected. Ernie (manager) was also fantastic. Took my truck in for an inspection. It passed and I drove home and parked it. 2 days later getting on the highway my cruise control just flashes at me and won't let me set it. Take it back to Jiffy Lube cause it didn't just magically start messing up and they say I know it looks fishy sir that we inspected it and your cruise won't work but it's not our fault. Went here for a state inspection. I have a legal film on my windows. These people wouldn't pass a state inspection due to that film. I then drove to the dealer for the inspection. I showed them the film, and they said there was nothing wrong. I trust the dealer. I now have a passing inspection. Don't go here. They are either incompetent, uninformed, or just lazy. I wouldn't want anyone with any of those characteristics performing service on my car. You shouldn't either. read more

I have always had wonderful and reliable service at this location which is so conveniently next to Kroger. Today, I went in for my low coolant indicator and thought it's time for my oil change and Jeff called me to let me know I still have 4000 miles before my next oil change so he only put in the coolant for me. They also put a sticker reminding me when I need to get the oil change. Brent checked me out and was super nice and courteous. I went to the Jiffy Lube for an oil change and was told my shocks had to be replaced because they were not smooth. The technician told me they could do the work right away and gave me a quote of almost $600.00 mostly for the labor. I opted not to go with this and get a second opinion and am I glad I did. I went to Walmart and firestone and was told by both shops that my shocks were fine and they were shocked when they heard what I was told. I feel that this Jiffy Lube tried to take advantage and will not be returning to them again. I suggest you beware of this shop. read more

BUYER BEWARE. Predatory practices at this location. I am a mechanic by training and take good care of my cars. Was looking for a state inspection only. The place was empty and so 4 techs "swarmed" my car to help out the inspector. Within 5 minutes, they had the cabin air filter out and wiper blade assemblies off the car, in hand and walking towards me. The tech showed me that the blades would not pass inspection because of 1" tears in both blades. I have been driving and working on cars for 40 years. I have never seen tears in the middle of the blades like these. Since these blades were replaced by me in January, I believe but can not prove they tore them to try and sell me new ones at a ridiculous mark up of $80.00 for the pair. "your car won't pass without them" the tech says. Also I need a new cabin air filter, I also replaced less than a year ago. I took my car back, having "failed inspection" and drove to Lute Riley Honda. They inspected it and washed it without any issues what so ever. I do not mind if someone tells me something need to be tended to on my cars but when they are fabricating issues to take advantage and make a buck, that is a problem to me. BTW - I purchased two new wiper blade inserts to replace the "torn" ones at Honda for $17.00 TOTAL! read more

I had a car problem caused by a different auto shop, and Jeff helped me through the whole thing. He didn't try to upcharge me, and when the other auto shop spoke to me rudely and tried to deny responsibility, Jeff talked with them himself. They're scamming people here, specifically women. I came in for a state inspection, and I am 100% sure I was good to go. My dad is a certified mechanic and checked everything before I went in. Before my inspection was finished, they told 4 other people (all women) that something was wrong and that they needed to pay extra for a part or something in order to pass the inspection. There's no way that can happen 4 different people one after another. Every single time they tried to get these women to pay for something. They told me a part of my vehicle was defective (lie) and asked if I wanted to pay to replace it. The replacement was ridiculously overpriced, and I knew something was fishy. I declined and went ahead and paid for just the inspection, and they told me to come back after I had this part fixed so they could update my paperwork.
