Came here to get my oil changed like I've done many times. Paid $130 for oil change and inspection and then, I leave and my oil light and check engine light comes on, I go back and they tried to tell me it was a part that would cost me $1100 to replace. I decided to go to the dealership and they looked at it and realized the OIL FILTER HAD BEEN CRAMMED IN THERE UPSIDE DOWN. So I had to pay the dealership to do another oil change, correctly this time. I called jiffy lube and sent in my proof and the paperwork for the dealership. The DM agreed to refund it and that was a month ago. I've been following up and just keep getting the run around. I'll update if I get my money back- by my advice is not to go here. WIPER BLADE SCAM I've been to this location several times and there is a constant tactic that they use to push wipe blade sales by falsely claiming they are needed. My car was bought new and has less than 4,000 miles and yet they claimed the wipers weren't functioning properly. I asked to see the issue and the technician couldn't duplicate any problem whatsoever. They run a scam here and it is a consistent pattern over the past 5 or 6 years. Do yourself a favor and get inspections elsewhere!!! Once you call them out they slow walk the inspection please spread the word !!!!. read more

I went on Monday 6/24/19 to get my oil changed and an inspection. I looked the hours up online and it started 7-7. As I was getting out of my car, the manager started that I needed new brakes. One, how he could buy me just pulling up is ridiculous and two, I just had both my front and back brakes replaced two weeks ago. I specifically asked the manager to make sure p that all of my fluids were t topped off, as part of their complimentary service. He assured me they would be. The manager say behind the desk the entire time, while another guy, who was training two new employees worked on my car. I was told I needed a new cabin air filter, no problem, I always change it, and was told it was $40. No problem. I was charged $40.99. As the guy who was working on my car came in and printed off my bill. He had the service sticker out for one of the two new trainees to put it on my car. Reluctantly, one of them finally out it on. As I was driving home, I noticed that the "next service date" mileage, was the mileage that my car was when I took it in. When I got home, they didn't set my oil back to 100%. Was highly disappointed to find out that I would have to go back at 10:30 to get my inspection, because that's what time they're inspector came in. How about adding that to your website. Because I had to listen to the manager complain that he was the 14th manager there, how bad turnover was, the lack of unprofessionalism of the trainees and the mechanic, because I expected to get my car inspected and the laziness of all employees there, I will never go back!!! Also, my fluids were not topped off, as I took my car to Valvoline yesterday and got it inspected, and they informed me I barely had any windshield wiper fluid. And the "service date sticker" fell off of my car, Monday evening. Save your time and your money. Go to Valvoline on Franklin Blvd. They were efficient and professional, as how a business is supposed to be. read more

Got an oil change here yesterday, they only changed the oil. I've used jiffy lube as a primary source for oil changes over the years and always received fill ups on the vial fluids. This location claim they don't do it even though it's on the jiffy lube website. One of the employees told me it'll be an additional 5 dollars for each fluid. I will never go to another jiffy lube, changing service providers. I changed the stars to 5 due to the awesome customer service call from jiffy lube in concern of my review. I was informed I was supposed to get my fluids topped off with my oil change and also offered help with anything due to the poor service I received. The speedy response prompt me to believe jiffy lube care about the customer along with customer service. I will continue to use jiffy lube, encourage anyone else to do the same. I get the BEST customer service at my Orlando JL. Not here. They didn't go over services with me first, or pull up my account. I asked to top fluids and air tires. They did not air tires and they checked but I did not see them add any fluids. Then they tried to charge me $78 and not take they bogo coupon. I finally got $20 off. Poor poor service. read more

Went in for an inspection. only had to wait about 5 minutes and it was done. quick and friendly service.

Went for a oil change and was very disappointing first I told then if they check the air in my tires and if it's low do not put air in them because I have nnitrogenin my tires and they put air in anyways Then when I went to pay they gave me a receipt and on in they checked off cleaning my windows (not) they checked and filled my windshield washer fluid (not) they check my battery witch they had to jump off twice and then check battery was good on the paperwork then I check if they lubed my ballpoints and they didn't do that either. I use this jiffy lube before on more than one occasion and the service was good don't know what happened but went down hill fast I would not recommended this location to anyone. read more

I came here to get my brakes looked at. They said my brakes were wore out and my rotors needed replaced. The cost to replace all would be almost $400. Before I even said yes to the repair they said they ordered the parts and if I could wait just a few minutes they'd put them on. I felt pressured and left. A couple days later went to Tire Country. First, my brake pads aren't even worn out. They aren't even halfway used up. Second, my rotors are fine because the brake pads are fine. Third, the reason why they squeek sometimes is because of the nature of the brake pad - not because it's worn out. I'm very disappointed. They either tried to take advantage of me and railroad me into a service I didn't need or they have no idea what they're doing. read more

I am very upset with the actions of employees. My sister came by with plenty of time for service asking to plug a tire and they started asking each other "it's 5:30 do we have time?" Reading some of the negative reviews here, I'm concerned that I've not got the same Jiffy Lube. But there is only one in Gastonia, so here goes. Driving a 2019 leased Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with Massachusetts tags, it was with extreme reluctance I pulled in when my oil service indicator light said the oil had "zero life" left. I had visions of Clark Griswold getting the family truckster repaired. When I explained to Brent, the manager, that I had a long drive ahead and wanted to get back on the road ASAP he suggested the car would be fine driving the remaining 650 miles. This after my dealer back home told me I could "blow-up" the engine if I continued to drive the car w/o an oil change. (Eeeediot) Brent quoted me $80-somethng for a full oil change with synthetic oil and then offered to just top off the oil which Will, one of a small army of smiling service people working that Saturday morning, did. Then Will topped off the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. Here's the punch line: Brent refused to charge me anything. I tipped Will $6 which my wife said was far too cheap, so I'm writing this review. My experience with Brent and Will at the Gastonia Jiffy Lube was a lot more than great service it was an example of southern hospitality that was food for thought for this occasionally arrogant Coastal Elite. I went for a simple oil change. I was the only one at the place when I had first arrived so I figured it wouldn't take to long. I went to take a seat in the waiting area when one of the mechanics, Eric, had stared me down to the point that I was uncomfortable, but I let it go. Another man who I had soon learned was the assist manager was at the desk on the phone. As I was in the waiting area I was looking through the window into the bay, watching them work on my car. It appeared that the man underneath and Eric, the man in the upper bay, had begun to argue. They were literally yelling at each other and the man above began to THROW THINGS IN THE SHOP. I had just bought my car a few months prior and this made me worried about my car and the sanity of the men working on it but again, I let it go. Another mechanic, Justin, had come in to tell me my car was finished. I proceeded to ask him if I should be worried about my oil change and if they even really changed it. Justin proceeded to laugh in my face. This pissed me off. I go outside to get in my car and the workers were riding a dirt bike, recklessly, around the parking lot. The assist manager came over to me, apologized, and then told me if I come back he'll give me $10 off. And I said "no way in hell am I ever going to come back here or let anyone else here touch my car ever again". When I got home, I called corporate; they told me to make a statement online and then the regional manager, Brian, called me and apologized. He told me that he would fly to Gastonia, personally check out my car to make sure everything was done right. He also said he would sit down and have a discussion about the incident. I'm happy with the way this conversation turned out. But I will NEVER, take my car back to a jiffy lube. And you better believe if something happens to my engine in the next 3,000 miles, Jiffy Lube will regret everything that went wrong today. read more

This is THE WORST jiffy lube I've ever been to. They stripped my lug nuts while rotating my tires, didn't vacuum the car, never washed the windows yet charged me for the full service. When I asked them why they didn't do anything of these things they quickly did a terrible rushed job. Lastly, when it came to finish they said they were out of windshield stickers to show when my next oil change would be. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Beware. Do not go here. I took my vehicle there and they spilled oil everywhere and did not even tell me that they had spilled oil. When I got home oil was dripping in my driveway. When I took it for someone to look at what was going on, they showed me all of the oil that was spilled in my vehicle. Some of the oil had even spilled over onto the transmission sensor which caused the car to jump. I was told that this happens there all the time and that I should never return. read more
