I really never expected to have such a wonderful experience in a jiffy lube. But, I had to change my oil before a trip and couldn't get my regular mechanic. I was so surprised at the professionalism of Gerardo and Jaylen. These two men were courteous, quick, knowledgeable, patient and extremely polite. My oil was changed, window washing fluid filled and tires pumped with gas. They checked to make sure everything was working up to par. I never had to get out of the car. They made sure I had an AC pipe blowing in the car while it was turned off for service. I was so comfortable. The price was so much less than I typically pay at my mechanic's place. But, working with Gerardo and how he oversees the men's work, was impressive. When I tried to convey basic information about the car, the assistant manager named Susan responded so rudely it was over the top. If you can find a Valvoline, went to this Hallandale location and they said itd be $84, I went to pay and with taxes, oilf dump fee and a bunch of other fee's witch I was only getting an oil change came out to $105, so my $15 coupon brought me to $90. Staff was not welcoming and had no idea how to reset my oil percentage. Luckily Nick told me to park to the aide he'd come help me. Will definitely avoid this place. read more

Ladies, please do NOT take your cars here, especially if you are trying to save money. I went for an oil change and tire rotation a few months ago. My tire pressure indicator light went on as soon as I left and I took my car right back the same day; they told me they "fixed" it but the indicator light went on Again. They charged me over $100 for things I didn't need, as I just learned from a reputable local repair shop. They also stripped and glued my oil cap so that the local place had to struggle to even open it. Beware! This place is a rip-off! read more

I went in for an oil change and they quoted me a price of $20.00 because. I told them I couldn't find my email with a coupon of 19.99. They assured me they would honor the price. When work was completed the same assistant manager then quoted me a price of approx $47.00, when I asked why he just said the best he can do was give me a $10.00 discount. Beware! Do not go here!!! Went back, bad choice, had a coupon, but was quoted 20 bucks for a cabin air filter with a retail of $49. Upon checking out I presented my oil change $19.99 coupon. Apparently once I used the coupon the cabin filter went back up to full retail. Went back to talk to Juan and abriele, they looked at each other and just kinda shrugged their shoulders saying I did get 20 bucks off the total from the coupon plus 10% off the filter. So what I thought would be 40 bucks ended up closer to $70 - SCAMMERS! Must be on commission - look elsewhere... Plus another over an hour wait - was pulled back in by coupons emailed - opting out today. Lots of options and I'll be looking elsewhere. read more

I have been to this location a couple times before and no issue. They must have a change in mgt and staff. I went in as my oil light came on even though I'm not due for another 1200 miles. On my last oil change they had replaced air filter, ever since then a nose comes on when ac goes past level 3. The staff member said he would look into and take care of things. I was thinking I was getting an oil change and maybe that house part was just a matter of tightening etc. No communication or update as I'm waiting and waiting and seeing others leave before me who came after me. Finally they say my car is ready, I explained to three people that I had not received an invoice etc. Nothing. So I finally left still have the nose and nothing was explained to me about my car. It was Saturday and busy errands day or I would have waited longer and spoken with a mgr. I won't go back again. A couple weeks ago I was in desperate need for new windshield wipers and googled for locations in the area that sold replacements. The first automotive place I called had no clue what I was talking about, which made me slightly concerned for an auto store. Then I found Jiffy Lube online that listed windshield wiper replacements. Normally I would avoid Jiffy Lube, but I was desperate for new wiper blades. As I drove up I was immediately greeted and asked what I needed help with. The employee then had me go to the waiting area so he could pull my car inside to be able to change the wiper blades. From the waiting area you can see inside where cars are worked on. For a moment I was concerned when the employee opened up the hood to my car because I said I needed nothing else done. A minute later the employee came inside just to let me know he added some wiper fluid since it was a little low and this was a free service offered by Jiffy Lube. The process took about 15 minutes for payment, wiper blades, and topping off my wiper fluid. No other services were pushed at me to buy, which made the whole trip relatively painless. Plus as a female by myself, I was really happy the employees did not try and say I needed to buy more services or try to act like my car needed additional service. read more

It's all about customer service. I came to this location after buying a oil change groupon (20$). I pulled over and I was greeted right away and walked to the waiting area. After filling up my information, I was asked for some other services which I said no to because I didn't think I needed them. The guy explained to me that The services he mentioned could hold on for few more miles but I needed to keep them in mind for the next oil change. Great place to change your engine oil. The guys are knowledgeable and explain everything in great detail. It's always very fast to get your car serviced there. It is also more convenient if you drive from the back street, straight into the service bay. I will return there every 6-8 months to change my oil. read more

I have used the Groupon deal for a conventional oil change here the past few months which includes a maintenance inspection and top off of all fluids. Always professional and quick. Recommended services are based off manufacture suggestions and never pushy. Small repairs are very reasonably priced in my opinion (light bulbs, wiper, air filter etc.). Came here in August for an oil change on my Nissan Altima and a month later I was extremely disappointed. My neighbor pointed out to me my car was leaking engine oil. I took it back to this location and turns out the engine oil filter was not placed on properly causing oil to squirt out when I turned on my car. I had lost a quart oil through the process. Had it not been for my neighbor I would have to replace my engine or worst yet my whole car. I would advice going to a different Jiffy Lube as I have had better experiences at others. read more

Jiffy lube is like the McDonald's of car maintenance places. They're quick, but the quality is sub-par. You have to know exactly what Jiffy Lube is good for, otherwise you will get taken to the cleaners by these guys. Jiffy Lube is only good for oil changes and fluid top offs. Everything else, they will overcharge and underachieve at. An oil change at Jiffy Lube is like $40-$50, and I've gotten it done at this location several times only for the convenience. You usually can find a coupon to get it down to about $33 with tax or so. But that's only the start of your problems. Jiffy Lube will always evaluate your vehicle for additional services, and their employees are trained to upsell, upsell, UPSELL!! I change my oil every 4000-5000 miles as required by factory maintenance scheduling, but every time I would go to Jiffy Lube all of a sudden my engine air filter is clogged and my cabin air filter is dirty. I caught them once showing my a different engine air filter, along with twigs and a leaf on my cabin air filter (did your employee seriously scrounge in the bushes to find crap to throw on my filter?). These things don't need changing every time you get an oil change, and they guaranteed will try to scam you into buying one from them. Engine air filters are $40, cabin air are $60. Cost of these at advance auto parts (and they're easy to put in yourself: $15 each. But it doesn't stop there, they have a specially engineered scam software program that shows you graphically how far you are past the recommended maintenance for certain parts of your vehicle (this program contains information that is not congruent with factory spec requirements, so I suspect it's designed to scam you into getting things you don't actually need). The first time I took my truck in, they said a rear differential fluid replacement was required at $100. It was not required at that time by factory maintenance. They also recommended a fluid flush (also not required by factory maintenance at the time) for $179, and to replace a "worn" serpentine belt for $175. Keep in mind, I drove the truck another 25K miles on the same serpentine belt before I had it replaced voluntarily and it was still functioning flawlessly. Two oil changes ago, I get home and my oil is leaking. Bring it back and the Jiffy Lube guy says it "looks like it's coming from your rear main seal". I took it to the Toyota dealership to have it looked at properly and tires changed, 85K maintenance, etc. It wasn't the rear main seal. The mechanic basically told me that the last guy who changed the oil probably forgot to clean up the mess he made from draining the old oil out. So what have we learned here? If you're in a rush, or don't have time to leave your car at a better place to have your oil changed (usually for 20 bucks with free tire rotation which you don't get at Jiffy Lube), then go to Jiffy Lube for OIL CHANGES ONLY. If they try to sell you anything else, refuse. Most of the guys who work here are not like a good mechanic. They can change your fluids but I wouldn't trust them to do any other work. And most of the time, you probably don't need it. They're just trying to sell you overpriced extras to make money. read more

They have done my oil changes for 3 years, took my car to dealer for other repairs and was informed they didn't put part back together properly. Air filter cover left open causing check engine light, sunroof drain lines pinched while putting under carriage back, misc part missing screws and dangling off bottom of car. Just called the store and will bring in Monday to give them the opportunity to fix, I don't imagine they will so I may have to hire lawyer. I will delete if they do, more or less it seems like they don't care about customers or there vehicles. Beware of this company. read more

I had a coupon to get an oil change. They greeted me right away, asked me what service I needed today and walked me to the sitting area and offered me coffee. I bought a 1 quart just in case I needed it for my truck since the coupon only allows up to 5 quarts. I told them to just fill me up 5 quarts so I can add mine later. They weren't happy with that so they told me they rather give me the extra quart on them because they don't want to "not put the right amount that my car needs" I was grateful. I will be coming back! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They don't know what they are doing. They cannot even do an oil change without damaging your vehicle. They change my oil and did not install the skid plate correctly and it fell off. I took it back, they reinstalled the skid plate and it fell off again. I took it back a second time and they pushed part of the skid plate in front of my air conditioner condenser. This prevented my AC from working. They caused $700 in damage and will not fix my car.
