Horrible! Took way longer than I was quoted. Then after I left my car started stalling. I took it back and they moved some stuff around and it was fine after that. Fast forward a few months and I need another oil change. I take it some where else after that experience, and they bring back my oil filter. It had been forced in and was cracked with the rubber belt just hanging there. Also, they used the wrong Screw in my oil pan which could have cracked it. I will never go there again. read more

Horrible, über sketchy business! I arrived at Jiffy Lube at 8:45, with intentions of getting my oil changed. So, I parked and walked up to the front door. Only to find that it was locked? Ok...? Maybe they're all in the shop and don't have a receptionist. No biggie. I then get back into my truck and wait for a few minutes to see if anyone appears in their two open bays. Nothing. Not a soul around. Hmmm, this is weird. I then start walking around the shop, to see if I can spot anyone, and finally see some guy sitting in a truck, on the other side of the building. He then hollers at me "can I help you?", I said "yeah are y'all open?". He then continues to hang out of this truck while shouting at me to walk over to him..um no. Why don't I just take some candy from you and also get into your windowless creeper van too?! I then continued to ask him, why the front door is locked, he then tells me that the "front door" is actually in the back. Whaaa? So the door thats facing the street.....that I just pulled up to.....that also has your 'pull here' and 'hours of operation' signs posted....is NOT your front door? I dont think so, sir. Super sketchy, and not about to walk to the back of a business to enter into some weird building..or soon to be sex trafficking ring. Thanks, but no thanks! STAY AWAY LADIES!! read more

Fast, efficient service, and if you know what service has been done to your vehicle, you can decline any extra services you don't need or want. Everyone there was professional but friendly and they weren't concerned or hostile when I declined the extra services when I told them been done already recently, which was the truth. From pull-up to pull out literally took less than 20 minutes. I gave them a chance despite the negative reviews, and I'm glad I did. I'll be back. I just wanted to give a recommendation for the Jiffy Lube on Ella/34th. They had me in and out in 15 minutes, and encouraged me to double up my coupons for the multiple service I had done. They were also super friendly and kind, and even helped me carry my baby in her heavy carrier when they noticed me struggling. This is quite the opposite experience I receive from my usual River Oaks Jiffy Lube. Just wanted to give credit where credit is do since good customer service is rare these days! read more

Friendly service guys but the wait is soooooo long. One and a half hours of waiting and still waiting on a simple oil change. No bueno guys. The wait is usually a little long but nothing crazy. Today it was much much too long. I even fell asleep in waiting chair for like 30 minutes. ****EDIT #2 **** I filled out an online complaint form, and Jiffy Lube contacted me. They sent someone from the shop to my office to check on my vehicle. As it turns out, they simply did not rinse the old oil from the exterior of my engine after releasing the plug and changing the filter. Since my driveway is an incline, all of that old oil is what stained my garage floor. That being said, they had not fully inserted the dip stick back into its proper slot, so I was losing oil as I drove, but not as much as I thought. They did try to make it right and apologize. I still don't think I'll be back, but I can't fault them entirely and say they tried to ruin my car. ******************* So ... I stopped in because this brand is supposed to be quick and affordable. I went for a simple oil change. That's it. $90 later (I am running full-synthetic, so I know that's expensive, but still ...) I left with the following issues: 1. One of my tires was over inflated (it's hot outside, I've been driving for 20 minutes), so they promptly over inflated the other 3 tires to match instead of checking what the proper PSI is. 2. They told me the "change oil soon" light on my dash had been reset. It hadn't. As soon as I got my car back and started it my dash lit up and told me to change my oil. 3. When I pulled up, the guy told me 20 minutes and I'd be done. There were at least 4 people working there that I could see, and only one other car being worked on. I left a FULL HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES after I pulled up. 4. ***EDIT*** I woke up this morning to a garage floor full of oil!! My car lost 2 qts of oil overnight. I was willing to pay for the convenience of not having to change and properly dispose of the oil myself, but the time spent here and the ridiculous incompetence of the employees certainly didn't make it worth my money! Second time getting my oil changed here and I'm sold. The staff is knowledgable and very friendly. The service is top notch. No pressure to get any additional services but they make recommendations and give you reminders in a way that makes you feel like an informed customer and let you decide what you're going to do. They are also very respectful of time. The top off policy is great! Free top off up to 2 quarts at any of their locations within 3,000 miles of service! They've got my business for sure. read more

I went there last night for an oil change and inspection, and it was honestly the best experience I've ever had getting this done. All of the mechanics were very personable and up front about what I actually really needed (a breath of fresh air - as a woman who knows nothing about cars, I never *actually* know what's absolutely necessary and always fear getting ripped off). The cherry on top was when the amazing female mechanic went through every coupon available and saved me over $60! Ended up with a new air filter for $3 and coolant for $4. With my savings, I ended up splurging on a headlight cleaning (which I also got a discount on) that has a lifetime warranty. They also just seemed to genuinely enjoy their work, each other, and the clients. Will definitely be going back! read more

The guys are super helpful with my daughter as well. They always offer to carry her car seat and help me with the doors. Shane and crew always do a good job for us! We have two vehicles with high mileage that get heavy use, so need frequent oil changes and check-over. These guys politely communicate their findings and confirm how we want to proceed. Service is just as good when we use Groupons to get discount. read more

While one changed the oil, the other checked under the hood and actually filled the windshield washer fluid (never happens), another checked the air pressure of the tires and no one told me I should buy this or that. They were friendly and fast If you had a problem with them you're either spoiled, want things fast only for you and unrealistic expectations. read more

I visited the Jiffy Lube on Ella today. The gentleman that checked me in, explained the service and checked me out was an angel. Life can be challenging at times and he was so very kind to me. His kindness brought tears to my eyes. Maybe this sounds a bit sappy but I don't care. He deserves to be recognized for his kindness to the customers. I only regret that I didn't get his name. My family has had a number of unpleasant experiences at this location. The worker guys being super slow and intentionally lying about how long the job would take. I am talking about 2 hour wait when they repeatedly tell you every 15 minutes that they would get your car out any moment. They also have the arrogance to ask permission to pre-bill for work that has not been completed. My family will be careful about avoiding this place in the future. read more

I used a Groupon and it included oil change, all fluid checks, and an interior vacuum. The people there were really nice and said they'd call when done and proactively offered to do my inspection. After a few hours of no call, I called them and it was ready, which was frustrating because we waited for the call. Not a huge deal, though, so we went to pick it up and they seemed a little confused as to what was done. The oil change portion for $70 and $40 with the groupon (got synthetic oil), which is very pricey, but since all the other services were included, I figured it may be worth it. I went outside and my car floors were not vacuumed at all, looked at the sheet and they listed "interior floors-cleaned". After reading the below review, I'm seriously considering taking it in somewhere reputable to make sure it was done right. If they lied about vacuuming, what else did they lie about? I usually love Jiffy Lube, and I'm comfortable visiting them all over the state. But this one was awful. I went a few days ago for an inspection in the middle of the day, and they told me they couldn't do it then because the guy had to run to the bank that closes at one- it was 12:58. So I came back today around 11. There were no cars in the garage and at least 3 people working, they said it would be an hour before they could even get to me! I told them about my weekend experience, he didn't care and I told him I would go down the street. I was helped instantly. Lazy, lazy people working at that Jiffy Lube. read more

I'm not a huge fan of chains, but this particular Jiffy Lube is the exception. They're quick, honest and the customer service is excellent. They have a nice, small waiting room with a clean restroom, current magazines (even for the ladies) and some pretty decent coffee! The guys there are really nice and I didn't feel pressured to get extra stuff done. You do pay a little more for the name, I'm assuming, but I know it will be a good experience every time. read more

After waiting 25min i was informed that they were doing multiple services on the cars in front of me and it would be at least another 20 min, so 45 min minimum wait before even pulling into get an oil change. And no one was going to to tell me until i asked. I will not ever be coming back here. read more

The worst place I have been to change oil. I moved to this side of town and decided to give it a shot to this guys.... THE WORST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE!! I changed the oil in May and started seeing my car leaking oil when it never happened before. I took it 3 times there and their explanation was that it was OK and that some oil had been spilled and left on some parts of the motor that was holding it. I went for a trip and parked the car at the airport and started it... NO oil! The engine was ruined and of course they don't want to take accountability.... DON'T go there! read more

This is regarding the Jiffy Lube on Ella Blvd. Was there last night to get an oil change and inspection. I've been to this Jiffy Lube many times--three or four times a year for at least eight years, but I won't return. Every single time I'm there they try to sell me air filters for the car. Of course they did this again yesterday. They pull the air filters out and show them to you, tell you they're dirty and in need of replacement. That just isn't true. I just replaced them myself because it's sooooo much cheaper and so easy to do. What's more, the filters don't need to be replaced that often. Standard recommendation for one is 20,000 miles and the cabin filter is 40,000 miles. Hardly the kind of mileage I drive in three or four months. So naturally I tell them I'll pass on the filters and told the guy I do it myself. Go back in the waiting area and five minutes later am called out again to be told that my brake fluid is on the line of being low and they won't be able to pass my car for inspection until it's topped off which they don't do there. Seriously!! I'm annoyed by this time because I'm tired of being up sold things I don't need and I don't believe that my brake fluid is low. Guy asks me if I want to continue the inspection as they may find other problems in which case I could have them all corrected before bringing it back for a passing sticker. I decline, and I'm sure he can tell I'm annoyed. I felt like this was push back for declining on the filters and telling him I do it myself because it's so much cheaper and crazy easy (NO ONE SHOULD PAY FOR THESE TO BE REPLACED). Anyway I leave and realize immediately that both my Check Engine light and Emissions Check light are on. BTW, your car will immediately fail inspection if the check engine light is on. With a few minutes research on the internet my boyfriend determines that both these lights are a result of the gas lid not being tightened appropriately. Tighten the gas cap, drove a mile, turned off and restarted the engine and BAM, both lights are gone. So, I've come to the conclusion that was done deliberately to screw with me because the guy could tell I was annoyed and I declined to continue my inspection through them. Let me also say that I had my car inspected this morning at a different place, and no one said a word about the brake fluid being low, and I didn't add a drop.
