Beware. This place will swindle you if you don't know jack about cars and maintenance. The upselling and dishonesty is wild. I just came for a quick oil change and even brought my own oil specific to my car. I should've walked away with the constant sleazeball tactics, but they were already in process of changing the oil so I followed through with it, but you know it's bad when you feel like you have to babysit the crew because of their questionable practices. They ended up checking my air filters randomly even though I didn't ask. The cost for air filters was undisclosed until checkout when I got a fat charge. If I had known it was an extra $110 I would've done it myself in 10 seconds for a fraction of the price. Anyways, when I got home I did a self inspection of my car to make sure everything was okay. I checked the air filters and they somehow lost my covering panel in the process. It's a small thing, but I was annoyed. The manager did end up following through and rectifying the lost part which I appreciate, but it shouldn't have been a problem in the first place if the crew was paying more attention to the actual job rather than the upselling and dismantling of my car to see what they could sneakily upsell me. STAY AWAY from this location!!!!! We had the WORST experience with them and we do not trust the people here whatsoever. My husband brought our 2017 Honda Accord in for an oil change and decided to get the tires rotated at the same time. While rotating the tires, they noticed that one of them was badly damaged and recommended that we get it replaced. Sure, we can do that! So we immediately left and took it straight to Discount Tire, the place we always get our tires. After paying for the brand new tire, we find out that it CANNOT BE INSTALLED because the mechanics here at Jiffy Lube did something so bad when rotating the tires that the tire CANNOT BE REMOVED. The tire is stuck!!!!! My husband immediately called Jiffy to tell them that he was bringing it back in for them to fix, which is when we were told that the mechanic, Sal, wasn't there but would be back on Tuesday. Well, Tuesday was the day it was supposed to snow so we anticipated that they wouldn't actually be open on Tuesday. The guy said that Sal would be back on Thursday and we could bring it then. We bring it in on Thursday (today) and Sal tried to BLAME Discount Tire, saying they messed it up. That is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE because Discount Tire still has the brand new tire we already paid for as they were not able to install it due to whatever Jiffy Lube did to get our tire stuck. What's more, Sal said that they can't fix it here at Jiffy Lube but gave us the name of a tire shop down the street and told us we can pay them $50 to fix it. THAT IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! So you broke something on my car and are now telling me that I have to PAY SOMEONE ELSE so it can get fixed?!?! I am beyond LIVID and disappointed in the lack of integrity and customer service at this location. We need a refund for the tire rotation and JIFFY LUBE needs to pay to have our car fixed since THEY MESSED IT UP. Avoid this location. Technicians are dishonest and use aggressive tactics. I was out of town so my wife went to get windshield washer fluid added and they try to tell her she couldn't leave with her windshield wipers because they were unsafe. Vehicle was purchased new in late 2024. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! Took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube on Ella Blvd in Houston TX . First oil change since I purchased the vehicle at Sterling McCall Acura. Mechanic stated he's unable to change oil because, "the pin is just spinning and I'd need to take it to the dealer." Advantage BMW informed me that my oil pin has been stripped and now my car is leaking oil. Advantage stated my car was severely low on oil. My car has NEVER leaked oil and Jiffy Lube is the first shop it's been to since I purchased it. Jiffy Lube mechanic worked on my car for an extended amount of time trying to remove a screw that he says was only, "spinning"." They never informed me of a stripped oil pin or an oil leak. Now the manager is attempting to place blame on the dealership from a year. Stating maybe they stripped it but no oil leak since I've had it. Jiffy Lube manner said he needed to speak to last place that serviced my vehicle, Sterling McCall. They told him that my car was fully serviced with no issues, they use a torque wrench to prevent that issue with the paperwork to prove it. It's likely that Jiffy Lube mechanic used the wrong wrench and attempted to loosen screw in the wrong direction. Now my car is heavily leaking oil. I got my car inspected here and routinely get my oil change as well. They have great service and even catch things like a really dirty air filter that was way overdue for replacement. The manager, Paul, C. and J. all helped me and were incredibly kind. They even helped me understand how to get my inspection sticker sooner at a grocery store nearby. Couldn't say anything better. Quick inspection and no appointment needed. Marquis was super professional and nice when dealing with me. His recommendation for new wipers was totally on point and he took the time to show me where the degradation had occurred warranting his recommendation. He also recommended I only replace one so I was not charged for both unnecessarily. I came in for the state inspection and came out with it being done in about 30 mins from start to finish. Unfortunately, this location doesn't have coffee hence my 4 star review. This location does have bottled water. The waiting room is very small but is clean enough. It's not marked, so is a bit confusing, but the best way to enter for getting your car serviced is to the back entrance to the bays (which is really the entrance into the bays). This allows the mechanics to pull your car straight into the bays without having to wait for traffic to pass or to reverse into traffic. I wish this had been labeled but messing it up wasn't too inconvenient- I just pulled out and into the back of the building through the adjacent shopping center lot. While you're here, consider stopping in to get a quick coffee at Luce's since it basically shares a wall with Jiffy Lube. You'll need to come back quickly though since the mechanics had a couple of questions/confirmations throughout the inspection process so you wouldn't want to delay them. read more

I was greeted with a smile and I was told the pricing upfront. I was escorted to the waiting room and offered a bottle of water. I do wish the management would bring back the coffee as an option also. Everything went well and I was in and out before my lunch break was over. The people here are very knowledgeable about your vehicle and I believed they truly cared about giving excellent service to their customers! I would recommend this place to all my friends! Recently, I needed a state inspection to renew my registration. I do not get off of work until 6 pm and most places close by this time. I looked around and sure enough this particular Jiffy Lube is open until 7:30 pm. They are only a few minutes away, but I did call just to confirm. The staff member that picked up was really helpful and even confirmed there was open bay space for me to come right away. The whole process was quick and easy! read more

Make sure yall don't leave anything out when getting an oil change . I suddenly lost a disposable cart in my car and when I went to grab it once my service was done it wasn't there . I asked the guys outside and the claimed that they didn't see it ( It was in plain eye sight ) . One of them assumed that it must've gotten vacuumed in but unfortunately, my car was still dirty when I checked it. And went through the whole car , they are nasty af for taking a strangers cart and putting it in their mouth . read more

Rude and unprofessional. It can be confusing when you don't live in the city to know where to park. If they have such a problem with it they should put up a sign. They are right next to the car tinting place, and they got upset at my boyfriend and I for driving up to their business and parking, telling us we need to park somewhere else but not telling us where until we asked. Then, one of them goes next door to the tinting place, goes inside, presumably to complain about where we had accidentally parked, and came back out shaking his head at us and laughing. Awful customer service and they need to be trained properly. Went here last year for state inspection and they claimed tint was way darker than it actually was( I have receipts from when tint was done) the car passed. My wife and I took both of our vehicles In to get oil changes this morning. We were told that they don't have the filter for my wife's car (Mini Cooper), but if we wanted to go buy one, they would change it, so we did just that. We then sat in the waiting area and watched the tech try for the better part of an hour to Instal it, only for him to then tell my wife that it was the wrong filter and he had to reinstall the OLD filter - after adding NEW OIL. After looking it up online and calling the auto parts store to confirm it WAS correct, he said they must have 'switched it' and it was in the wrong packaging. He then refused to let her leave without paying full price for the oil change ($99), even though it was the old, dirty filter, holding her keys in his hand and saying he would give them back once payment was processed. I had to leave prior to this part, but called him to explain that we should not have to pay for a service that was not completed, but he continuously interrupted me, stating that she would 'have to pay or stay', and that it wasn't his fault, and he'd put the new filter on one she brought back 'the right one'. My wife pays, drives BACK to the auto parts store where the employee was very nice and proceeded to open EVERY box they had to show that it was, in fact, the right filter! He also informs her that they always advise people against that location because of how many issues they hear about. Back at Jiffy Lube, the tech is told this, but still insists that it's not the right filter - not that he just can't figure out how to Instal it. He's not wrong, the auto parts store, every site online we looked at, and even BMW's website is apparently. I had to call the District Manager, whom I want to applaud for being very responsive and apologetic and was able to find a different location within the hour that could assist her. I also noticed after all of this that my truck had not been vacuumed, nor had the tire pressure been checked apparently, because the digital readout showed all 4 being at different PSI (and a bit low). Neither thing is a huge deal, but after everything else, makes you wonder if they even used the right oil (full synthetic in this case). read more

Oh does the sign say they open at 730? Because no one was there at 730. "We come in later" So that's my first tip if you plan to use this location. Second tip- they can't give you an estimate of how long it will take but I would assume a while since the staff trickles in on their own time The staff is very kind but it's the least I could ask since there was nothing "jiffy" about the experience. Stay far away from this Jiffy Lube!!!! The employees are crooks and try to make under the table deals with customers. I got $400 worth of work done on my car and when I had a private mechanic work on it he said it didn't look like anything had been done. What I expected from it. The staff was polite and while they suggested various repairs to my car, the lady wasn't pushy with it. The wait time wasn't too long, considering the line ahead of me. I used a coupon, but looking back, even with the coupon their prices were among the high end of the average range, AFAIK. Total price for a "basic oil change" was $31 and change. I intended to write this review a long time ago and now after having an outstanding experience at this particular station twice and my mother visiting today and having such a good experience, I feel I should leave review. Their customer service is amazing. Patrick is especially courteous and keeps you constantly updated. I went in to have several items on my 15,000 mile service list and have my vehicle inspected. They did not try to upsell me on anything, voluntarily showed me the manufacturer's recommended service intervals, when I questioned the lengthy duration of the intervals. I was insisting on replacing certain parts sooner than recommended and they were honest with me about it instead of taking my money for an unnecessary service. This is the second time they have done that. My mother went today and she was so impressed by the customer service as well and their willingness to help her understand the services being performed and how long it would all take. It's so hard to find honest and friendly service, but these folks are both. Highly recommend this service station. read more

I don't feel like I received honest service at this Jiffy Lube location today. I rejected their offer to replace my cabin air filter, which they didn't like. Later that day I replaced it myself after a trip to AutoZone, 15 minutes and 22 bucks. I later realized the "Signature Service" oil change should have included services that it didn't, including cleaning of exterior windows and interior floors. In fact, there was a big black handprint left on my glove box door where they took out my cabin air filter. Won't be going back to this location. read more

This Jiffy Lube is awful. It took over an hour and a half to do an oil change. I asked for them to do the inspection first while we waited for the other cars to have their oil change done. They ignored this request and just let the car sit for an hour and not do any work on it when they could have completed the inspection right away. They do not know how to prioritize their time and work efficiently for the betterment of their clients or thesis business. I wish they would spend less time trying to sell me a new air filter for the brand new air filter I already have. Pick anywhere else. Literally any other company. read more

Jiffy Lube on 3302 Ella Blvd. Great customer service, super fast and friendly. So, I finally had a free weekend to check off some things off my 'To Do' list. First up, an oil change for the VW GLI, aka "BP" (inside joke)...I met Mike (the supervisor there) and we discussed the different options. The best deal for me was the Signature Service Premium Synthetic; which included the Pennzoil Ultra Full synthetic oil, various other checks and topping off fluids. Mike, Nolan & Danny; went out of their way to make the experience very positive. I took both of my vehicles on the same day because of the good service and speed with which they took care of them. The second vehicle needed a tire rotation and they knock that out in no time flat. Service with a smile and going the extra mile to make the customer a priority. Thanks guys! I'm going to be a loyal jiffy lube fan until the day I die. This is a smaller location in an up and coming area and the gentlemen that work there are all so incredibly sweet. From opening the car door and the building doors for me, to listening to my concerns, explaining where my car was at in terms of maintenance, as well as vacuuming it out and the other included services....I couldn't be more impressed. Also can't complain about a company that always has deals posted on groupon for discounts! Looks like I'll be seeing these guys in about 7,000 miles :D read more

Terrible, horrible, awful service and staff!! STAY AWAY from this location (Ella)!! I got there by 11:20am, this lady told me 20 minutes, so I waited and waited. After an hour I went out there to ask if my car was ready, so I told this man "the lady said 20 min" he responded: "Oh she lied to you" I went back inside and waited a little more... then I see a woman that arrived way after me being called to get her car because it was ready, really? I walked back outside to see what was going on, just to realize my car wasn't even being worked on and was parked behind another car that got there also, way after me. I was very upset and by this time I had been waiting for over an hour already... so I told the lady "you said 20 min" and she gave me an attitude for questioning her so UNPROFESSIONAL of her by the way. I was highly disappointed in the service I received at the Oak Forest location this morning. As I paid for my oil change, I was told the tire pressure was checked, the vehicle had been vacuumed, and the fluids were checked. I stopped to get gas down the street shortly after leaving, and realized that each tire had a different tire pressure and the interior had not been vacuumed. Made me wonder if the fluids had really even been checked or if my oil was actually changed. I will NOT be returning to this location again. read more

Well I wanted to say thanks guys for the fast and responsive service you did! I stopped by to get a oil change beacause I was in the area and I had spoke to MR. ANTHONY he was very explanatory on my oilchange and for the most part being a woman he was elaborate and honest to me on my options! Also the service technician MR.
