Very happy with this location. I am so used to having to fight the employees on "necessary" fixes or parts needed. This location was fast and efficient, and did not try to up sell me a bunch of junk. VERY refreshing. I might actually be coming back to this location in the future! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Oil changes are a bit on the pricey side when compared to other locations, but the helpfulness of the staff and lack of up sell may win me over. read more

That one star is actually a negative 10 stars. By far the worst experience I've had at this location. I dropped my car off with my wife at 10am, the tech didn't ask anything but "Have you been here before?" which of course I have. I used to go here every time I needed my oil changed, but there's too much turnover and it's obvious you don't need my business here. I told the tech, we're leaving so is there anything else you need? He asked me to write my number on a post-it, so I did and added "oil change only, full synthetic, Santa Fe." Once I left I figured I would receive a call when my car was finished, but I never did. Instead I called back around 2:30PM to see if my car was completed: Emily - Jiffy Lube (JL): *picks up phone* [incoherent yelling] pause ... Jiffy Lube. Nick Gonzaga (NG): Hi I was calling about the status on my car, I dropped it off this morning. JL: [silence] NG: It's the Santa Fe. JL: That's been done for a while. We finished that this morning. NG: So, was nobody going to call me about that? JL: [Snark] Nobody told me I had to call you about this. NG: Thanks for your service, bye. When I picked it up, I noticed the in store manage is EMILY and I pulled Jason Fowler's card as the district manager to let him know I'll never have my car serviced at any Jiffy Lube, especially NOT when there are hundreds of other options in my area. I also have a mechanic, but he's closed on the weekends. Anyway, Emily called one of the techs to get my car... he picks up some random keys and begins to walk. Whatever, he doesn't know where my keys are, but he's dirty and I could have easily gotten my own car and would have been happy to do so. But he gets the keys, gets in my car, puts his greasy hands all over my shifter, my window, and steering wheel. I asked if he could wipe off my window, which he politely does - and then asks, "Is there anything else I can wipe off for you, sir?" Naw dude... thanks. I found a rag and wiped everything down myself. This place SUCKS! and I'll be posting this review to Yelp as well (Done). No thanks for your crappy business. Don't bother contacting me. In fact, I don't want to hear from anyone at Jiffy Lube ever. read more

I took my car in for an oil change. I was told they didn't have the oil filter my car takes but that they changed out the oil and to come back the next week for the filter. I called the next week and was told to come in, that if they didn't have it they would send someone to go out and get it. When I came in an hour later they said they didn't have it and could NOT send someone to get it. I took my car to another (non Jiffy Lube) service center and they told me that the oil should NEVER be changed without changing the oil filter and that it could damage the engine. I will be contacting the corporate oof five to lodge a complaint. read more

Tried to come in for a simple oil change. After waiting for 15 minutes with barely an acknowledgement, a woman walked in and was offered coffee and a place to sit. I called Brake Check up the road, asked how long the wait for an oil change was. He said no wait. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and was taken care of. Brilliant. read more

Never had an oil leak until we were charged $120 for our $60 oil change today and they would not honor the coupon linked from their website. Now oil has spilled all over the driveway and check engine light is on. Never use Jiffy Lube because they will vandelize your vehicle at this location and take 2 hours to do it. read more

Took vehicle to this jiffy lube for oil change and inspection. The inspection guy entered my vehicle year model whatever the gross vehicle weight goes. Of course it failed. After two inspection attempts, and a third at a Ford dealership it still failed because of the original inspectors incompetence. This caused me a half day from work, and the cost of a rental car. Jiffy lube finally called the state and remedied the bad code entry. It passed inspection as soon as the correct codes were put in. And no, jiffy lube hasn't compensated me for the cost of the rental, nor the missed time from work. I would have thought a couple of free oil changes ( to my liking) would be in order. Didn't happen. Not even a call from corporate after requesting to speak to the district manager. read more

I have been here numerous times and never had such a poor experience. Technician on duty diagnosed my car with a "blown head gasket" I've never had any issues with my vehicle. No over heating. No difficulty driving. He stated that my Honda CR-V was "running rough" and that a "head gasket had blown." I give two stars because he topped off my oil and did not charge me. I give two stars because he saw an issue but he was so misunderstood the mechanic laughed out loud multiple times and did not strike fear. I am not a car person but I was made to be and feel unsafe. They screwed up the underneath protective plate so bad that the next day on my way to the airport it came loose on the toll. I know it was them because they had me wait while they tried to put it back. I limped off the road because I had no idea what was making all the noise. At 5:30am I was scrambling to leave my car in a strange area and get someone to come get me to the airport for my flight. I barely made my flight. Then I started to hear horror stories about this place. Wish I had heard them sooner. Never again! read more

I took my car in for an oil change and air filter replacement. A young man met me at the garage entrance and immediately launched into a spiel about the different oil changes they offer. I tried to stop him several times-- I already knew what I wanted-- but the guy just kept on talking. Whatever. I go inside to wait. One of the techs comes in and asks for the owner of some car no one seemed to own. Granted, the owner could have stepped out for a bit, but it seemed like all the owners were in the full waiting room right then, and none of us owned the car they were mentioning. Perhaps, they are a bit disorganized, and that owner had already been serviced and had left. Then, a different tech comes out and starts going over the spiel. Again! I had already told them which service I wanted-- I get the same thing every time. This tech was also not going to be interrupted by what I wanted-- he had his laundry list he had to go through, verbatim. As far as I can tell, my oil change went well. I make look around for a different Jiffy Lube to go to because the current employers at this one need a bit more... finesse and listening skills. read more

My husband was out and about last weekend and tried half a dozen places to get an oil change. Some were closed completely, some were short-handed and backed up. We decided to try closer to home this week and called the Jiffy Lube in Leander. They were super nice and quick to come check me in. The wait wasn't bad and they were super efficient and communicative. My car's air filter was pretty bad from driving through a dust storm a few weeks back. They had one delivered from the auto supply place down the street since I'm traveling for the holiday this week. Mark and Nate did a great job and I am super happy! read more

Customer service is great but the one thing that hurt them is the pricing. This place will charge you for every thing they do. The price for an oil change is high but the prices for part is high. The people working here are extremely nice and know what they are doing. I recall a few years back when they had a crew of 4 or 5 people working on a car. Now it is only 2. Not sure if it is because of the economy or just to save money. Just because of the cost, I would have to recommend to go down the road. I don't blame the employees but the company that set the prices. read more

I just needed a state inspection, so I called ahead to make sure that there was someone there who would be able to perform one. The guy on the phone assured me that they were indeed doing inspections today. I drove over to Jiffy Lube only to be told that their printer had been broken for the past two days, and they were unable to print out the report. Thusly, they were unable to perform a state inspection. If this is true, it seems like this might be a bit of information that all employees should know. It was just a frustrating and inconvenient experience that doesn't make me want to go back for anything else. read more

After hitting a small animal that suddenly came on to the road, I was left with a completely shattered undercarriage cover hanging underneath my car. As I was pulling in to the Jiffy Lube with my car making all kinds of noises, Christian (technician) came and met me outside. He inspected the issue and informed me that though they do not fix this type of problem, he will be happy to take my car in and see how bad is the damage. Luckily the damage was to the cover only and on my request, Christian took it off for me so I can drive my car back home. The manager and all others staff were very courteous and professional. They did not charge me anything though I offered. They have my respect and my business. I am very thankful to them. read more

It all started with a mere oil change on July 8th, 2019. Everything seemed routine, normal one hour ish wait, blah blah. Except, they left the skid plate down. Pretty minor, but the car is driven over 100 miles a day from Leander to South Austin at 65-80 MPH speeds. We figured out it was dragging on the third day. The skid plate had disintegrated, sending debris into the bottom/wheels/tires of my car, as well as at other cars going equally fast speeds. I went to a South Austin location and received exceptional service from them, they had to remove it entirely as it was not reattach-able, leaving my oil pan exposed. Fast forward to today, September 14th, 2019, my oil pan is still exposed. I have been the one to follow up every single time. The district Manager Jason and the GM Curt at the Georgetown store who "does all the skid plate fixes" apparently forgot to order it for weeks, then didn't order "enough" of the part when it finally did come in. That was 08/26/19. Haven't heard anything since, except a response from Jason on 09/01 that I can't get a refund without my receipt. Because apparently in 2019 they can't use any of the infinite amounts of data available to figure that out. But it's cool. Never again. read more

Drove to this jiffy lube to get a last minute oil change on my new expedition, because we were about to go out of town, and I had just hit 5,000 miles. The gentleman that helped me told me that I didn't need an oil change until 9,000 miles. He went ahead and checked my oil level for me just to make sure, but assured me that I was good to go! Told me to come back when I hit 9,000 miles. As a young woman, I appreciate so much the honesty I was given. Will definitely be going back! read more
