I came here for simply just an oil change. They tried to charge me $100 even though I've gotten my oil changed from Jiffy lube several times and it's always around $60-$70. The employee said there were no cheaper options until I asked him to double check twice and then he came back and said it would be $65. They tried to make me do several other services which my car didn't need. They mentioned something about my back brakes so I asked "is it the brake pads or rotors?" And an employee responded "fuck it do both for him". Everyone at this store is incompetent and lazy. I stopped in for an oil change- no other cars waiting to be serviced. When I mentioned having a Groupon the attitudes changed. He told me it would be 25 mins so I waited. Then he told me they didn't have oil so it would be at least an hour. Their entire business model is oil changes and they don't have OIL? Clearly he didn't want to honor the Groupon.... I have treated it well over the years and it in turn has returned the favor. I have driven across country and back - coast to coast. My KIA has always seen me through every journey. Gotten me through all kinds of weather - from Death Valley to the snows of Montana and the rains of Louisiana. I'm particular about how I treat my car. I was nervous. KIA Service in PA was horrible. They actually messed with my tire stems on two tires. They GLUED them shut. I found this out when I was leaving for my cross country move. Anyway... When I arrived there was one car ahead of me. The attendant greeted me and ran down the list of items I usually do myself. A few new ones I signed up for. I can see how my transmission needed flushing. Daniel helped me out. Everyone was very nice. Very professional. The entire experience was so painless that I felt a need to actually post this. I will be back for my transmission flush. I wasn't notified that my vehicle was ready. Invoice states that windows were washed, but they definitely weren't. My recommended tire pressure is state on invoice, but my actual tire pressure is reading differently from the recommended levels and is unbalanced. If this information is false, there's no telling what else they could have skimped on. Also, when I arrived, I repeatedly requested a full service and specifically stated tire rotation as a part of my request. The gentleman assured me that all of it would be done, but when I returned, I learned that a tire rotation was not performed. read more

Initially I took my car in for an oil change and a brake inspection. So as soon as I checked in those 2 were my requests to staff. While the oil change went smoothly done the brake inspection was totally IGNORED. So when I paid at the desk I asked the clerk for the results of my brake inspection, he said "you have to ask them (the mechanics). On my way out I tried to talk to any of the mechanics and all of them just turn their backs on me and walk away, like if I was annoying them with my request. I get it we all get busy at work sometimes, and they were busy. The least you do was a little explanation such as "hey we're busy right now and can't do your inspection". Can you come in tomorrow at a different time?, or something like that. But not communicating with the customer in regards of services and totally ignoring requests is rude and unprofessional. I always come to this Jiffy Lube because it's the closest one for an oil change for me but today my check engine light started flashing on my car while I was on my way there to get an oil change and they were kind enough to check the computer in my car and see what was going on and send me on my way to a mechanic to get a bunch of work done. I appreciate it so much at other Jiffy lubrications. I've also stopped and they've filled up my tires for free. It's 2026 and mechanics are still trying to take advantage of women. Went in for a routine oil change, but somehow the visit resulted in an estimate of over $500.00. In fairness maybe my car needed attention in other areas, but nothing they suggested was urgent or a safety issue. Not a great experience last time I was here. It was late august or early September. One of the guys looked so hungover I was afraid he was going to barf on the car. The other guy tried to tell me rats got into my air filter (ok, sure bud) and then tried to tell me I needed a new battery. I said "I think I'll take it to my regular mechanic for another opinion" and the guy said "we are mechanics" and I was like yeah I know. Then the guy gave me a discount out of nowhere?? I just do not trust this place. When I took it to my beloved mechanic and told him about the battery he said "who told you that? Jiffy Lube? Fokine as'oles!" then he showed me that a little bit of battery acid on top of the battery is normal. You can flush it away with hot water. Saved me $300. Overpriced. I got a free $30 gift card in the mail around Christmas for Jiffy Lube. Though it wasn't actually addressed to me, just "Current resident". I usually go to Valvoline, which is right down Sunset, and I've always had good experiences with them. I went to get my oil changed yesterday morning, and there was something going on on Sunset, it looked like they had the road closed down and a bunch of emergency vehicles were in the street. So I remembered the Jiffy Lube gift card, and went there instead. Even with the gift card, it ended up being probably $40 more than what I usually pay at Valvoline. The service itself was fine, if a little transactional. The Valvoline employees seem friendlier, plus they do the work while you wait in your car, whereas at Jiffy you have to get out and go to a waiting area. All in all, there is no reason I can find to not just go to Valvoline for an oil change, which is right down the street, is cheaper, and the employees are friendlier and more helpful. read more

They strip the drain plug threads here. Went a couple months back and my car started leaking in the spot I always park it. Took it to the mechanic I trust and he told me the transmission fluid was leaking cause they stripped it on purpose. So the gentleman that helped me here was kind and informative. But like many people have said before me, the wait time is crazyyyyyy. I'm still waiting in line as we speak. Been here for an hour and 15 minutes already just for an oil change. For some reason oil changes here seem to take like 45 minutes per car? I use to go to the valvoline which is $5 cheaper too usually and they finish in under 15 minutes and I don't even need to get out of the car. I am of course coming on what looks like a much busier day and time period and location than the valvoline I go to which could be the case They do their job and that's all fine. Just be prepared to wait at least 2 - 2/12 hours to get a simple oil change. Edit** Just talked to the staff who has been friendly the entire time. Apparently they are short on staff right now and they're all a brand new crew. So any staff prior that may have sucked has been replaced. Other than timing, this place was fine.
