Alright so gotta admit, I'm one of those guys who believed the horror stories "you shouldn't go to Jiffy Lube for your oil change, go to a local mechanic they'll make sure it's done 'right' blah blah blah" - but I was embarrassingly overdue for an oil change and really needed a tune up, and the reviews at this location were insanely positive so I took my car in and trusted the process. Long story short, the only negative part of my experience is the fact I can't find the employee's name who helped me. They took my car in immediately, did a thorough work up, explained what needed to be done now and what could wait, and even knocked off a fee for a new air filter since I had to have a few unexpected services done on my vehicle. And best of all (to me, personally), everyone I talked to was willing to explain why something had to be done, and didn't make me feel dumb or lost about something just because I don't know a ton about auto maintenance. The price they quoted me was fair and reasonable, and honestly pretty comparable to most shops nearby. My experience here changed my whole perception of the business itself, and the next time I'm in a bind with my car, my first stop will be this Jiffy Lube location off Santa Monica Blvd. read more

The guys here- especially Jerry- were so nice. I had a morning meeting to get to yesterday and I turned my car on and it said to top off coolant immediately and I couldn't drive my car without doing that. I called this jiffy lube as it's around the corner from my house and they said to bring it in and they could help. I was quoted a price for the coolant. I pulled up and a nice gentleman named Jerry came out (or John I cannot recall his name because I was so shocked by how kind he was!) He topped off my coolant and then I tried to pay and he said it was on the house! Not only did they not try and take advantage they were so gracious! Highly recommend!! read more

I came to this Jiffy Lube on October 19, 2025, for an oil change. The employee listed on my receipt, Randy G., offered to check my check-engine light and said there was a $40 charge. I assumed it was part of Jiffy Lube's service but when he pulled out his personal phone to handle the separate payment, I realized it wasn't official. I refused and walked away. The oil change was fine, but employees shouldn't be running side deals inside a franchise. Management should be aware of this. read more

I came in this morning not expecting much -- I just needed a basic oil change and that was it. I was greeted by Brian, who was all smiles from the start of the service until the end. He had such great energy, which I honestly wasn't expecting that early in the morning lol. The service was excellent and super quick -- I don't think I waited more than 15 minutes. When my car was ready, Brian also took the time to show me a part of my engine that needed some attention and let me know he would include it on the info sheet for me. Came in here to figure out what problem I have with transmission, figured that besides that I had a bunch of stuff to change as it is a 2010 car. My last mechanic didn't tell me that the car needed coolant fluid, brake fluid, battery was barely cranking 350 even though it's supposed to crank 750+, so yeah guys told me a lot of things and the inspection was free!!! Same day. Basically called 5 mins before arrival time. They were honest with changing transmission oil could be worse for the car if I don't know when it was changed before (160,000 miles car). I came in thinking I had a coolant leak because my engine overheating warning had popped up a few times, so I was already preparing myself for some major repair . But they checked everything out and told me everything looked fine! They explained that there was probably some air trapped in the system when my coolant level got low, and they even topped off my coolant for free. I really appreciate how honest and helpful they were instead of trying to tell me I needed a bunch of unnecessary repairs. Definitely made my day!! read more

I initially brought my vehicle in due to a gasoline odor. After diagnostics, I was informed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced, which I approved. I was also told that the rear seats would need to be removed to complete the repair. At no point were there any concerns, disclaimers, or hesitations communicated by staff--the employees appeared confident in the repair process. After finally receiving my vehicle, I noticed the fuel gauge was below "E." While I understand low fuel happens, I was not informed that the vehicle would be returned in this condition. I then went to a nearby gas station and discovered that the fuel gauge indicator was no longer functioning, making it impossible to determine fuel level or when the tank was full. I want to be very clear: prior to bringing my vehicle in, the fuel gauge was fully functional. The only issue I experienced before service was the gas smell. I returned immediately to Jiffy Lube to report the issue. During this interaction, I observed one employee becoming defensive quickly, while another asked whether the issue existed prior to service. The exchange made it evident that a mistake may have occurred, yet no accountability was taken. I was advised to "drive around" and wait for the gauge to potentially correct itself, and if the issue persisted, to return and pay for a fuel sensor repair--despite the damage occurring during service performed at your location. Being asked to pay out of pocket for a problem that did not exist prior to service, with no compensation or corrective action offered, is unacceptable and reflects poorly on business practices. I will not be returning my vehicle to this location for further inspection or repair. Based on my experience, it has become evident that the staff involved lacked sufficient knowledge to properly resolve the issue, and responsibility was instead redirected toward me as the customer. I am not comfortable placing my vehicle back into the care of a location where accountability was not taken and where I was advised to pay for a problem that did not exist prior to service. DO NOT GO HERE! They damaged my car. This jiffy lube broke my oil plug and is giving me the run around to get it fixed. Then quoted me $500 to fix it. They then sealed it up with silicone and told me to wait for the manager to call me. I need my car fixed now, as you damaged it and I need a rental car for work. Do not go here. If it is not fixed tomorrow I am going straight to the better business bureau and my attorney. I expect a call from the owner. This is the second time they have messed something up. The first time they disconnected something so my car wouldn't accelerate. I brought it back and they fixed it. This time they have been completely unaccountable read more

My car's battery died this morning and my family got me a new battery from Costco. AAA would not install it for us since it's not their own battery but I called Jiffy Lube at 6:30 and they said they'd do it for me with only 30 min left before closing since I need my car the next morning. Thankfully I live 10 minutes away so I was able to come by with a jumpstart and they took care of me, took their time and care with installing the new battery.
