    Oil Change was obviously Not Completed, so I knew that no service at all was done on my car.

    DO NOT COME HERE! COMPLETELY WASTED MY ENTIRE DAY!!! I drive a fleet / company vehicle so I understand that there are additional authorizations that need to take place. Called in advance to see if there are reservations that can be made and they said yes, so I booked a 9 AM appointment to allow for plenty of time for all of the maintenance and service to be completed. I made sure that they knew it was a fleet vehicle, and all of the services that I needed to have done, and she even saw the other fleet vehicles in the system that I had brought in in the past When I arrived, the man said there was no reservation in the system. And when I questioned it, he said that he would still take the car in, but even having a reservation doesn't do anything to make the service faster, it just lets them know approximately how many cars to take in or not for the day. I let him know the services that I needed and I was originally going to wait in the shop for my car to be completed, but I was told it may take a while because they need authorization, which is something I hoped they would have done ahead of time when I called to schedule the appointment, so I walked back to my apartment and left my car there for them to work on. I was told that all they need was my VIN and they know how to contact Element Fleet services when I asked if they needed the card. Told him that I had another appointment at 1 PM and he said he would do his best. Made sure he had my phone number. I had not heard from them by noon so I canceled my 1 o'clock appointment elsewhere, knowing that I had the deadline of March 5 to get this done for the company. So I wanted to make sure it was completed. Even pulled up my email from Fleet services. I know that they close at six so I called shortly after five to check on the status and was put on hold for 15 minutes before I simply hung up and took the 15 minute walk over there to pick up my car. Turns out there was absolutely nothing done to my car at all. Car had not moved. Not even the oil change, brake inspection, safety inspection, and tire rotation. The check engine light was on so they were going to perform the diagnostics on that, but I made sure that he knew the oil change and inspections were priority and to get that done first regardless of the check engine light diagnostics. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE!! The tablet was supposed to have certain things marked off as to what was done, but nothing was marked off at all. She also mentioned that there was something in the system about 11 AM so at the very least that probably indicated when the items were authorized by the fleet services to get the services done even though I dropped my car off at the original reservation time of 9 AM! Fridays are the only days that I can get my car serviced as that is my work from home day and I'm usually out driving to see clients every single day during the week otherwise. She asked if I wanted to leave my car overnight. It's my Friday night and beginning of the weekend! I need my car! Hoping that they did some work but just didn't mark it off in the system, I took the keys and checked all the gauges in the car and nothing was done. The oil was still at 13% remaining, the tire pressure was all the same as before. Apparently the technician that was working on my car left at 3 PM today. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE AND THEY HAD THE CAR FOR THE ENTIRE DAY FROM 9 AM UNTIL 6 PM, AND I EVEN HAD TO CANCEL MY OTHER APPOINTMENTS FOR NOTHING!!! COMPLETELY WASTED MY ENTIRE DAY!!! I even called ahead to make sure that I had my bases covered! The gal that I talk to, when I picked up, the car was nice, so it may not have been a reflection of her service, unless of course she was the one that did not put my original reservation in the system when I called. I don't like to give negative reviews unless it is absolutely deserved as I understand this takes may happen, etc., but this was nine hours of mistake! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A COMPLETE UTTER WASTE OF MY TIME!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!

    I'm one of those entertainment industry folks who's turned to Uber to help make ends meet during this (what else can we call it?) depression in our industry here in California. I have two experiences to report, one with this business and one with American Tire Depot on Jefferson near the 405. I experienced a rapid pressure loss of the passenger-side rear tire the other day during an airport run. I had my car (a 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron) towed to American Tire Depot on Jefferson. They were polite, professional, did an excellent job, and what did they charge me for the patch of my tire? $0.00. It's what they do to make an impression and to initiate and/or maintain customer loyalty. When the exact same thing occurred again (apparently my car picked up two nails at a construction site last week) yesterday, I decided to go to this Firestone. Natalie was polite and professional. The repair technician Jesus, on the other hand, wouldn't acknowledge or respond to me when I asked questions. Natalie informed me that he's on the spectrum, so of course he gets a total pass from me. He did a fine job. Firestone however does not embrace the kind of policy that American Tire Depot does, this despite having done my $50 Uber inspection with them last month. The cost of this tire patch? $30.91. If you have no other option (if you can't make it down to American Tire Depot on Jefferson and the 405), this Firestone is a fairly good alternative.

Really appreciated that and think it spoke volumes about their integrity. Enrique specifically made a stressful situation so much easier. Never again. Switching to this Valvoline was the BEST CHOICE. 6 reasons (sorry for the long review): 1. This one has a GROUPON. It is extremely affordable and the guys don't give you any shade for showing up with the groupon. Indeed, my rep DANIEL (thank you emoji) even helped me get on the wifi because it wasn't downloading. He showed me how to redeem it. Regarding the groupon. Be aware of what oil you need and be careful about which Valvoline's accept the groupon. The Synthetic is not much more than the standard on groupon (and synthetic oil is actually much more than standard in general). Daniel helped me understand and I confirmed it with my mechanic brother who lives in another state and he said Daniel was telling me truth. 2. I had literally duct taped a part of my undercarriage because it was dragging (thanks mechanic brother who told me what it was) so I was convinced that during the oil change the reps would tell me "oh you have to pay more for us to get past your do-it-yourself issue." Instead, I told them about it and they were like "no problem" and worked around it! They even explained to me what the loose panel was and were like, "it's working, no salt or snow in CA, no off-roading for you." Again, brother on text said, "Daniel doing right by you" 3. The did try to up-sell me but in the most procedural and respectful way. They are required to offer other services but they roll through it and give you no judgment when you decline. 4. I actually tried to give Daniel and his manager Jose a tip and they REFUSED it. Then I tried to offer to buy them a coffee and again refused me. They said that it was a pleasure to help me. WHAT??? Seriously wow. 5. This Valvoline shows you everything. They show you the oil they are using, they show you your dipstick after it's filled, they explain the filter and what they did, and the price is transparent and right in front of your face on the computer. Further there is a camera on the bay that proves what they have done and thus, there is a degree of protection on both ends. 6. DANIEL and supervisor JOSE were the most respectful, kind, patient, and explanatory people I have ever met. I felt very comfortable and felt the entire process was FAIR and within my price range. THEY ARE THE BEST. Ask for them. Thank you to both. My first time there and I have already told 3 people about this location. I will never go anywhere else.

    DO NOT GO TO THIS VALVOLINE! I WENT IN FOR A $190 OIL CHANGE PLUS AIR FILTER AND THEY CAUSED $800…read moreWORTH OF DAMAGE! First, $190 for an oil change plus air filter is pretty high. Then, while they were opening my air filter housing to replace the air filter, they busted it.( check the pictures. ). Then at the very same time they yanked on the air manifold hose that's connected to it so hard that it ripped open! At first, they lied right to my face and said that they did not do it and that they never even opened my air filter housing even though I paid them to change the air filter. So I called corporate in front of the manager at the Valvoline and told them that I had paid for an oil change and an air filter change, and this manager just told me that they never even opened up my air filter housing to change it but they took my money anyway. Once I had corporate on the phone, the manager at Valvoline admitted that they had damaged both components of the air filter-housing, and the hose. Corporate said all that they could do is refund the $50 for the air filter and then offered me two free oil changes. But I'm still left with having to repair the $800 worth of damage that they caused. I'll never go to another Valvoline again.EVER!!!! - TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! LIARS/ THIEVES/ POOR MECHANICS/ TERRIBLE CORPORATE STRUCTURE. IF I COULD GIVE VALVOLINE ZERO STARS I WOULD.

I said the protocol should have been explained to me upfront, especially since I was giving them specific instructions (in an effort to defray diagnostic hours) that their protocol would ignore. He agreed. He offered a fair concession, which I accepted. We don't always get things right the first time. Ultimately, upon reading the review, Edwin took the situation seriously and treated it (and me) with respect. I can't ask for more than that. Everyone at Tony's was professional and nice enough. But my experience felt unnecessarily expensive. I brought in my '06 for a battery drain. This make & model had a specific, well-documented issue and fix I didn't know for a fact what was draining the battery but asked them to check this specific fix first since it was recommended by the manufacturer. (There was a class action lawsuit settled last year regarding this specific battery drain. Even without my knowledge or instructions, a routine mechanic's search in a TSB database should have turned it up.) If this were the issue with my car, it would be an easy & quick ten minute repair, as I wasn't even asking them to replace a part - just disconnect a wire under the overhead light in the cabin. I guess my request wasn't passed onto the mechanic. In the end, the fix was exactly what I had asked them to check first. But I was billed almost $800 for several hours of labor because the mechanic checked my request last. I expressed my surprise. I was told if I ever wanted to replace the part, they wouldn't charge me for labor. Ultimately, I didn't push back because someone DID put in the time. But THEIR error cost me a lot of money. A DECENT business might have recognized their mistake and negotiated a bill that was fairer A GREAT business would have recognized their mistake and charged me for the actual amount of time to fix the issue had they followed my instructions. I wasn't dissatisfied with the "work," per se (though they did leave several greasy fingerprints in the cabin, which I had to remove with "Dawn"). But there was a lot of unnecessary labor due to a failure in their chain of communication. And this resulted in a high cost, which they passed on to me.
