Everyone I've interacted with there has been so helpful and it feels like they drop whatever they are doing to help you out without skipping a beat. For every issue my car has had, they have dealt with it incredibly quickly and their communication has been top notch. I feel like they really truly care about their customers and have no ego or attitude like some other places. They always go above and beyond and I don't even have to think twice about bringing my car in. I've had them fix multiple things on my car from alignment to shocks to breaks. The Good - Cook said the nail didn't fully puncture the tire and it didn't need to be replaced. So I appreciate the honesty for this part. 2. The Bad - Replacement of the front brakes. After a few months the brakes were still squeaking and I called to mention this and they said to drive the car longer and it will stop. A year later and they still squeak. I took the car to a mechanic for in inspection and was told that Cook used Oreilly brakes and did not use OEM BWM brakes. Cook did not offer it as an option. It is a 2022 BMW and the brakes the used are unsatisfactory. Had I known they would not use original parts or offer it, I would have had this service done elsewhere. I should have went to a BMW specialized mechanic.

Then, while they were opening my air filter housing to replace the air filter, they busted it.( check the pictures. ). Then at the very same time they yanked on the air manifold hose that's connected to it so hard that it ripped open! At first, they lied right to my face and said that they did not do it and that they never even opened my air filter housing even though I paid them to change the air filter. So I called corporate in front of the manager at the Valvoline and told them that I had paid for an oil change and an air filter change, and this manager just told me that they never even opened up my air filter housing to change it but they took my money anyway. Once I had corporate on the phone, the manager at Valvoline admitted that they had damaged both components of the air filter-housing, and the hose. Corporate said all that they could do is refund the $50 for the air filter and then offered me two free oil changes. But I'm still left with having to repair the $800 worth of damage that they caused. I'll never go to another Valvoline again.EVER!!!! - TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! LIARS/ THIEVES/ POOR MECHANICS/ TERRIBLE CORPORATE STRUCTURE. IF I COULD GIVE VALVOLINE ZERO STARS I WOULD.

I was able to make the trip but once I hit a LA every time I hit the break a scraping noise would happen. i came in about a tire and explain what was going on with the break. Andy gave me the bad news easy that the front left brake caliper had become dislodged because a bracket bolt was missing, which was causing the abnormal noise. Well i'm not very knowledgeable about cars, so it meant a lot that he showed me what was happening and walked me through the repairs. He literally made a drawing for me as I'm a visual learner. The whole experience could have been really stressful, but Andy was patient, transparent, and made me feel like my car was in good hands. I'm really thankful they caught the issue when they did. I 100% absolutely recommend Andy and this Big O Tires location. They got you!

The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

Overall it was a bust and repairing it wasn't worth it but I appreciated the honesty and thorough evaluation. The garage itself has access through the alley, street entrance is pretty busy. We communicated via text and phone but during drop off and pick up the main guy wasn't around. He shares the garage with someone else and that person helped us when the main guy wasn't there (sorry I can't remember his name). I parked my car, left California and returned end of January. When I was driving my car it began to make weird noises then stopped working. I had it towed to a mechanic who let me know 1) there was no oil in my car and 2) my engine is ruined and 3) the oil drain plug was left loose. 44 miles were put on the car from December 17th to when the car stopped working and was towed to a mechanic. Jiffy Lube has been ignoring my calls, texts, not giving me any insurance information and now I need to take them to court. They're not a good business. They are negligent at what they claim to have expertise in. Do not go to Jiffy Lube, pay $10-20 more and sleep better at night. The funny thing was I remember the day I got the oil change, I was texting my mom because it was going on a 50 minute wait with only 1 other car at the place being like "should I be concerned?? I visited this service center for an oil change and was met with a lack of professionalism; there was no proper greeting. When I inquired about the cost of the oil change, I was quoted "around" $129.99 without any discussion regarding the specific type of oil my vehicle required. This was a significant increase from the $52.99 (post-coupon) price I paid at the same location just 10 months ago. Upon mentioning my knowledge about oil types and asking about coupon discounts, the quoted price was reduced to $74.99 for conventional oil. However, I was then informed that this oil type was unavailable, not only at this location but also at other stores in the area. This inconsistency and lack of transparency in pricing deeply concerned me about the trustworthiness of their customer service. Additionally, I've observed a general decline in customer service quality at this place over the past 2 years or so. Previously, despite these issues, their pricing seemed reasonable. This is the worst experience I've ever had getting something as simple as an oil change in my life. To begin with, I was short on time, so I asked when I arrived how long it would be and was told 15 minutes. I was there for an hour and a half, with no apologies from anyone about the wait time. The manager was unbelievably rude to me. When he rang me up for what was advertised as a $27.99 oil change, he gave me a bill for $45. I asked him about the sign out front stating that it was $27.99 and he got flustered and upset and said "I was going to charge you that, I just hadn't gotten around to it yet," in a very angry and demeaning tone. I'm not sure why he gave me a bill for $45 if he was going to charge something else. I was so upset when I left there, that I had my husband call and he asked the manager why he was so rude to me and the manager didn't apologize or anything. It's a shame, because I have been to other Jiffy Lubes in the past and never had an experience like this, but this makes me never want to go back again. read more

Not sure why this place has low ratings. However, I don't trust Yelp anyway since my family has a business and I understand Yelp would harass businesses and take down good reviews if they don't pay them. I came to this place with a friend to get oil change for my car. They had a special deal for $21 but with tax it was $27. It's still pretty cheap comparing to other places in culver city that charge $45-49. I brought my own synthetic oil from AutoZone and oil treatment since it was on sale for $30. Overall, I spent only $60~ for oil change whereas other places were gonna charge me $80-$100 for both labor and synthetic oil. I drive a SUV lexus so it was better to get synthetic. If you use regular oil, it would cost you only $50~ for everything. The guys and the receptionist were really nice. I needed to change change my headlight and switching my license plate as well & they were able to do it for free with no additional charge. I will definitely come back here :) read more

A quick story to explain my 5 stars: I got my car's oil changed here a few days ago. Today was the first time I drove the car since then, and I noticed a burning smell. I happened to be close to the Jiffy Lube, so I pulled into the parking lot. I honestly wasn't too worried, because I figured it was probably a few drops of the old oil burning off. I wasn't even going to bug the Jiffy Lube folks - I just wanted to use their parking lot to take a look. Before I could even pop the hood though, Ashton asked me if I needed help. I explained about the burning smell, and he immediately took my car in for a look. Turns out there was an problem with the oil filter gasket - which totally would not have fixed itself. So thank you, Ashton! Very cool how he just jumped in and helped out, even though they were super busy. He and Nancy got me back on the road after a few minutes. read more

As a 23 year Jiffy Lube customer in different areas, I used this location for the last 3 years and the prices have steadily increased while the service has decreased. Yesterday was the final straw. $237 for a simple synthetic oil change and two basic filters. Then after waiting 40 minutes for this service I was told the oil filler cap was broken and that another one was ordered, which would be an additional $40 , after I had already paid the $237. The crew clearly broke the cap while taking it off and tried to blame it as "pre existing", yet if that were the case the oil would have been blowing out the broken piece long before I arrived. While waiting through all this, one of the workers made sure to offer a side service for cash, of polishing the faded headlights. Safe to say this location has lost management oversight. read more

Got an oil change. On way home my car started shaking. Returned to station and manager told me they put wrong filter on and over filled oil. Management tried to fix the oil blow by in my air intake system. During this they broke my air intake boot. Management told me to take my vehicle to a mechanic as they could not fix the issue. Mechanic confirmed that air intake boot was torn and the over filled oil has blown out 2 cam sensors. Contacted regional manager. He yelled at me on the phone and told me he wasn't covering anything. Have tried contacting the company multiple times and they refuse to talk to me. Mechanic replaced cam sensors and intake boot. Car still isn't driving right. Mechanic is telling me I need a new engine. Cost: Sensors and intake boot - $779.98, new engine $7,000. read more

Had a coupon for $21.99. Came in and they told me that my car used 0W-20 and it was synthetic (they use a cheaper synthetic blend). Okay, I know synthetics cost a bit more. Their price? $59.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to the local Honda dealer because I had a coupon and paid $22.95! Yes, I know this was a coupon, but I don't think they charge any more than $36.95 regularly. Jiffy Lube specializes in expensive upsells, and these prices show it. Do yourself a favor, if they tell you that you need synthetic (many newer cars do), leave Jiffy Lube and go to ANY other place (except other chains) and it will be significantly cheaper. I went in and ask her how much for an F150 oil change ?it was a little high, but she said 119 , when we came time for check out she said 168. When I asked her what's up? she goes well truck take a extra quart..and I said I asked you how much it was for an F150 you should've known so it takes that much. THIS JIFFY LUBE STOLE MY iPOD RIGHT OUT OF MY CAR!!!! I was waiting for my car to get an oil change and noticed several different workers going in and out of my car and even sitting in there for long periods of time when they had no cleaning supplies in hand. Once I left I realized my iPod was gone and after looking around my house to confirm, I contacted their corporate office to let them know that this place steals from their clients. Went here a couple times for oil changes. The service is friendly and efficient. They periodically send out oil change coupons for $20 for oil, lube, and filter. They generally run right on schedule for these routine maintenance appointments. Priced tires as well and they are a bit cheaper than many of the surrounding businesses and in general, would be a good place to go for car service. read more

Had to make sure this was the right one. This place is horrible! I came in for a oil change, which was overcharged at $89.99. Afterwards I heard a strange noise in my engine, and noticed that some of the cords were unattached. My first visit was about two years ago, and I've never forgotten how kind and genuine he was during a difficult time in my life. This visit reminded me exactly why I came back. Earlier that day, I had taken my car to the dealership, where I was given nearly $3,000 worth of recommended repairs. They even told me there was a chance my car (Toyota Corolla 2023) might not start the next time I drove it and recommended replacing all four tires. Wanting a second opinion, I came to Just Tires. Dale listened to my concerns, carefully inspected everything the dealership had recommended, and took the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense. He never pressured me or tried to upsell me. Instead, he gave me an honest assessment and confirmed that only one tire needed replacement. A few hours later, I walked out having spent only $160 instead of thousands. I was honestly blown away. Finding an auto shop you can trust is hard, and Dale earned mine. Because of this experience, Just Tires will be my first stop for future service. I only hope Dale gets the recognition he deserves because employees like him are the reason customers come back.

They told me they could check the tire pressure and add air, but for a thorough check I would need to leave the car. I agreed to leave it. They called maybe an hour or so later and couldn't find the wheel lock key (which I didn't even know I had /needed). Long story short, we found it (the worker showed me where it is typically stored with the spare and other tools - which was very helpful and I honestly had no idea). The tire ended up having a nail so they patched it. $50. I can't remember price of my last patch but it seemed relatively inexpensive to me. I did ask them if they do smog checks because my car is due, but they do not. I would bring my car back here for anything tire related. Friendly & helpful staff.
