I went to This jiffy lube because I always go to jiffy lube for an oil change. They brought me outside to show me my filters like they always do and I declined like I normally do because I know how to change my cabin air filter. When I got back in my car the ac was making a bad noise, so I pulled over to inspect it. I noticed that the cabin filter was put in the wrong way and I pulled leaves out of my cabin filter compartment. Not only that, they deformed the cabin filter which was perfectly fine when they pulled it out to show me. Either shoddy work or they intended to make me pay for more repairs. (BTW, it was fine before I came in and it perfectly fine now that I took the leaves out of there.) read more

It's crazy how everytime I come here my left brake light is out!! (It actually isn't! ) They just want your money

I just needed an oil change and it didn't take long. The guys were friendly. The only problem I had was the fact it was expensive. I was charged 103 dollars which was surprising considering I have had an oil change, tire rotation, wiper fluid refill, brake check and battery check all for 80 dollars at a couple different places. I believe it's called a maintenance check. I know synthetic oil is expensive but other garages I've been to never charged me as much as Jiffy Lube did. Other than that, it was a decent place just a little too pricey for a simple oil change. read more

No good, no bueno, go somewhere else. They broke the cap on my oil filter, so when I went to get the oil changed somewhere else the following time, I had to pay extra to get that fixed. Also, when I first got there, as soon as I said it was my first time there, they pushed all of these things on me, until a simple $70 oil change ended up being over $200! They also charged me for a $100 oil change when I requested the $70 oil change. AND that's NOT including the money I spent to fix their damage later. I came in saying I wanted an oil change and they kept telling me things I should also have done. I'm never going back here and you shouldn't either. read more

I don't know where to start this is the worst experience ever with Jiffy Lube i always get my oil change at Jiffy lube i drive for work so i go to multiples locations like Alexandria (Vandorm) Waldorf , Woodbridge Etc etc I got there and it took like 5 minutes for someone to come to my car than i waited for about 35 minutes in the lobby the 3 sections har cars which i thought i would be next after 1 one of them were free, a car left and i thought i would be next but no another car was brought in so i just got up and walked away. I bought a car at a neighborhood dealer and the team here was incredibly helpful. I told them I was looking for someone to inspect my prospective car before I bought. They don't have that service officially but the folks there checked it for leaks and gave a quick check of the brakes for free! I really wish I got the names of the staffers who helped me but they absolutely deserve five stars! I don't live in the immediate area but with service like that, I'd drive out of my way to bring my car to them. read more

10/10 RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. I have NEVER made a review but today I just had to & here's why, I absolutely love going here now as opposed to the Alexandria location. Very informative when requested guidance of not knowing much about cars, very thorough job, explains exactly what was done (tire pressure, fluid top off, filter change, etc) at the end & just overall great customer service. Simple oil change was requested and my car came out feeling brand new and they let me know what else was needed for me 2019 Subaru crosstrek that couldn't be done there & where to go. New to the area and someone who changes their own oil... I decided to find a location that would change my oil because I didn't have the time nor the space/tools to do so. I found this jiffy lube from Yelp, and saw they had decent ratings so I thought I would give it a shot - though I have a very very very uneasy feeling towards car mech shops and car dealerships as many can be deceitful - (such as stating there is something wrong with the car to add on costs). I came here with an uneasy feeling but I will say I left with an "okay" feeling as if this could be the start of a good mech shop to driver relationship. The oil change was tops 20 minutes. IT was quick! I sat down, had a drink of their Keurig machine-made coffee and by the time I was done with my drink and sent out a few texts, I realized I was getting ready to go. Now, they did do me a favor and switch me out a bolt that was stripped and the oil cap was replaced (couple dollars)..... but the real reason why I can't give 5 out of 5 stars is DAMN that oil change was expensive. $108 dollars and some change. Yes, it was fully synthetic oil... but other than that, getting the oil myself from a shop would have cost me around $40? Labor, I get it costs a lot but for a quick oil change - I feel as though 20 off that would have been somewhat more calming. SO for those who don't know there way around a vehicle - and need some quick things done to it like maintenance checks and oil change, I would recommend this place but I will say it is a pretty penny to do so. Yes, I get it.... it's a business... but I feel the price was a bit steep. As I digress, I will just say that the service was A-OK. they guys were nice and hardworking. Went into Jiffy Lube to get my flat tire patched. They told me it wasn't repairable and I needed to purchase new tires. $111 a tire and it would take an hour and that all of my tires weren't looking good. The tire not being able to be patched sounded odd to me. Told them I'd just put my spare on and didn't have time to wait. 1 hour for new tires became 30. I said no thanks again. They were kind enough to not charge me for putting my spare on. And said they'd look forward to seeing me later to get new tires Went to a local mechanic next to my home for a second opinion. 25 dollars later my tire is patched and the mechanic said nothing was wrong with my other tires. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars to jiffy lube is because they didn't charge me... jiffy lube, you just lost a customer. read more

The wait time was short. They did everything ok but didn't put on one of my hubcaps on right. I drove less then 10 miles and I guess it flew off. I went back to raise hell but didn't have to. When I drove up and pointed out that I was just here and showed him that I'm now missing a hubcap. He said the guy must have put it on wrong and got the manger who apologized and ordered me a new hubcap right away. The manger called later that day and said your hubcap is in and I stop by anytime. I give them credit for stepping up and fixing the problem. read more

Got an oil change here yesterday. It was okay. They of course show you on the computer everything they can do for your vehicle which some of it seems a bit much. I only had them do the oil change and change a wiper blade. read more

*long post but worth the read* I have been a loyal Jiffy Lube customer for almost 10 years. I continue to patronize JL because there is NO WHERE where you can get an oil change this quickly. That being said, I have also been to many different locations throughout the years, and also go about every 3 months because I commute (more miles = more oil changes). I had been frequenting one in Woodbridge for the past few years, but I recently had a not so great experience at that location, so when I was due for an oil change again I decided to go to this one instead. They were incredibly quick and everything was wonderful. About a month later, I went to change all of my air filters out myself when I noticed that the cap to my transmission fluid (something that Jiffy Lube checks during every signature service oil change) was left OFF of the opening! This was incredibly concerning because contaminated transmission fluid can ruin your transmission. Anyways, I put the cap back on and brought it in the next day. I ask for a manager and explain the situation... Luis treated the situation the best way I think possible. He cleaned the transmission fluid housing (not sure the exact verbiage) AND flushed the fluid and replaced it without hesitation. He was incredibly concerned, honest, and polite... AND provided me with an excellent solution to my problem. I was out within 15 minutes (as always). Excellent, excellent service... I will return again and again. It had been ten years since I used Jiffy Lube, and now I remember why. The last time they "lost" the wing nuts holding down my air filter. What I forgot is that no matter the price they quote you when you pull in you will ALWAYS pay substantially more. All I wanted was an oil change. ... $43. They convinced me to put in synthetic, and the price was about $80 because the car takes 7 quarts of oil. I went to check out and the bill was $113, because their "special" is for only up to 6 quarts. The extra $20 charge was for .... are you ready... putting in the extra quart of oil. I hope I am not senile in 10 years and forgetfully go back to GIPPY LUBE. read more

I don't have any complaints about this Jiffy Lube. My car had been squealing for a while and I went in to have my serpentine belt replaced. It only took about 40 minutes (they had to order a part from the warehouse or else it would have been faster) and was at a reasonable price. I'm not sure why people blame repair shops for "talking them into" something. Some people just learn to say no. No one here tried to talk me into getting extra services, though. read more

I used my daughter's car only to find out that the oil light was lit. After I quick check it was either very low or dry. Fortunately, the Jiffy Lube was very close and I took the car there. They did a quick check and it was low and I made the choice to change the oil instead of a top-off. They guys were quick and I was on my way to work. From opening their doors to driving off was 18 minutes. That's service. read more

Car always has a problem when I leave. This time I went back to complain about the car after a tire rotation. They just "undid" the rotation, that's when I realized they didn't rotate them properly to begin with. One Guy tells me I need an alignment, another says have the tires balanced. I say I'm going back to my old mechanic and never go for quick and convenient again! read more

My battery was dead in my garage and after calling several spots, I was discouraged by the cost estimates for just coming to jump my car. I called Jiffy Lube to see if maybe they offered that service since I was close by and I would probably be needing a replacement. Luis Conde- Assistant Manager answered the phone and without hesitation said that he could come and help me out. He came to my house in his personal vehicle and jump started my car. I followed him back to the shop where the Team worked on my car. Luis' kindness and willingness to help has won my loyalty and I will be a customer there for life. Luis saved the day for me and you can see his leadership in all the hardworking Team members at this Jiffy Lube location. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of by them offering services I didn't need (since I am female), the overall service there was professional and to the point. Never take your car here! I had been using them for quick oil changes for several years and I trusted them to do what they said they would do, like check the other fluid levels such as antifreeze. Apparently, they can't be bothered unless it is something they charge for. Sunday, they handed me a receipt which clearly stated that the antifreeze was "ok/full". Monday, my car overheated and I was forced to pull over. When a friend came to get me, he found the antifreeze completely empty! Took it to another mechanic who found no leaks or any other problems. When I went back to speak to the manager, he actually raised his eyebrows, said "yeah....." and looked at me as if to say "what do you want me to do about?". No apology even offered. Corporate has still not responded to my email. They left me stranded because they can't be bothered to do thei job. Absolutely never again! read more

I went out there to change my oil. A few days later my car starts jerking.I ended up going to see my mechanic who upon inspection tells me the gasket is flooded with oil and teh spark plugs got messed up in the process.His assessment? ....due to excess oil put in the car.I look at my receipt and they had recommended the next oil change to be in 4000 miles instead of the usual even though they didn't use synthetic oil.I come back to the jiffy lube and the assistant manager says there is nooo way they could have been responsible.He claims the 4000 miles on my receipt was a typo.I asked him if he thinks my cars breakdown and the fact that they wrote 4000 miles were a coincidence.I also asked if h e could explain how oil ends up flooding the gasket...his response was NOBODY THERE IS A MECHANIC SO THEY WOULDNT KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN THAT.Good point manager, next time i want to have an oil change i will go to a place where they at least know how much oil to put in my car and the importance of putting the right amount.I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN! read more
