I don`t know why they have 1 star, but I guess every one is different. Whatever works for someone might not work for other person. I would like to write, as they saved me :) Here is my experience with them; I have a 2018 Cadillac XT5, which had been sitting in a friend's office parking lot in Manassas for nearly two years due to personal reasons. I'm from NJ, and when I went to pick up my car, it wouldn't start, even with a jump. It was around 11:00 p.m., and I found these guys online. They responded extremely quickly, sending a tow truck within 20-30 minutes. In NY and NJ, every time I've had my car towed, I had to pay in advance, but this time the towing guy was extremely friendly. He even mentioned that he knew the mechanics and assured me that I could just go directly to the shop without worrying. The battery seemed dead, and although it was very late by the time the car got to the shop, they did their best to fix it. Unfortunately, because the car had been sitting for so long, there were major issues. I needed to return to NJ the same day, so the mechanic tried everything to find the parts online, but there was no availability in the middle of the night. Despite this, he directed me to a hotel and assured me that he will get the needed parts very early in the morning, and worked tirelessly to have the car ready by morning-noon. After having bad experiences with mechanics in NY and NJ over my 25+ years of driving, I was hesitant at first. However, these guys are the best! He walked me through all the parts that needed to be replaced and told me the prices before doing any work. He explained everything in detail, which made me feel very comfortable, and they didn't charge me outrageous fees, even though it was after hours. Everything was very reasonable, and they even showed me the prices of the parts online. If I had been in NJ or NY, it probably would have taken a week to finish the job--without an appointment, forget about it! They made sure the car was safe to drive, and I made it back to NJ with no problems. Thank you so much! My friend in Leesburg even said he will bring his cars to them. I'm seriously considering driving 4-5 hours to bring my car to these people because they are simply the best! I forgot to ask his name, but if you're reading this, you know who you are--you're the best and the kindest mechanic! He was very polite, straightforward, and knowledgeable. More than that, he explained every single detail and showed me all the issues with my car on my car physically. Said if they broke my lug nut off that it would be my fault. Recommended a million other things they say was "wrong"- just do the brakes I asked you to fix. If I would have requested an inspection, they would have charged me. They done a self inspection to recommend other things they should fix. Brakes only my guy read more

One star just because it's one of those places that tries to exaggerate issues. For example, took my car here for an oil change, and they show me a few things. One thing they show me is a minor fuel leak, but then quote the labor just to get to the fuel pump at $1,600, which is absurd compared to the running average labor costs for that. Most places charge a fixed hourly rate for labor, and I called the place I normally go to and they said it would be just a 2 hour job rougly, so $270 in labor compared to their $1,600 quote for labor costs.... LOL. Next, they show that the fluid levels are low then proceed to say they can't top off the fluids and need to flush each fluid for $250 before topping it off. Coolant and brake fluid don't go bad from "sitting too long with low levels." They're sealed systems. So the idea that they need to be flushed before getting topped off is just them trying to upsell more repairs. They did wind up topping off the fluids for me, and everything else was fine I guess, but I just wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to overpay for labor costs and have them exaggerate certain issues. Glad I only did an oil change here, I definitely wouldn't trust paying the labor rates they quote here. Also, another thing not going well for them, the person that seems to be running the place is rude, so another thing not going well for the place. Oh and one more thing, they only take Zelle which strips you of a bunch of buyer protection that you would otherwise have with your credit or debit card. Go figure why they only take Zelle.... UPDATE: It only gets better... This place put a defect oil filter on the car too so it caused an oil leak. And also, the control arms are NOT bent and there is no fuel leak issue. They charged me $4644 for the LIGHTS that they never provided. They installed the lights we bought from Amazon and provided them to install. In addition, owner was extremely loud and disrespectful. He didn't even want to accept my credit card for the payment and asked for cash for the entire invoice, which was $6000. Since they had a sign on their door that they accept credit card payments, we talked them into accepting the card. They did this job in 2 months. They were unable to provide us the invoice for the OEM lights they claim they bought for $4644. These are not OEM lights; these are the lights we bought from Amazon as they didn't return the lights we provided them. Instead, they just picked up a random set of lights from their shop that are not even compatible with our vehicle and gave it to us to wrongly justify themselves and to keep us stay quiet. This place and the owner is fishy. I am an elderly woman and I don't feel safe going back to them for any kind of service. read more

They used my truck for personal use and left actual concrete on the side of my truck. I took my 2004 Chevy Silverado to this shop to have the fuel pump replaced, and it was a complete disaster from start until... They told me the repair would take only 3 hours but it ended up taking 2 weeks. After the mechanic dropped the fuel tank and broke the fuel lines they told me that the fuel lines at the dealership was on back order, and they had to create their own. Then, after they told me the truck was fixed, i paid them $1,400 and went directly the gas station where the truck wouldn't take any gas. I returned back to the shop within 15 and was told the gas gauge in the truck was not working properly. I was told that the mechanic didn't connect it right when they put the fuel tank back on. I returned a week later to find actual concrete on the side of my truck with the concrete bags in the back of the bed with the gas gauge in the truck still not working. Crazy part is, i was there when they started their concrete job at the shop. They could have at least gave me a discount for not only using my truck but leaving mixed concrete on it. The mechanics they have do not seem like qualified mechanics. They look very confused and not very knowledgeable. This place may okay for quick brake jobs or small related jobs only. Not only did I waste time and the ruined my truck, but I also spent way more than I should have for nothing. They have no curtesy for their customers. The customer service was awful, no updates, no communication, and they barely apologized for the mess-up. I had to call daily. I'll never trust them again, and I'd warn others to stay away from this place. They are also not a 24/7 shop so disregarded the sign that is advertised. read more

The folks at Automotive 24/7 did a great job. Hundreds less than the quote I received at a dealership. The were personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and timely. I would definitely use them again for major repairs. I was refereed to them by the service manager of a local tire facility which I first approached as alternative the dealership. Took my Jeep in for Breaks, Because My calipers were locking up, They inspected the breaks and said one needed replaced, So they replaced rotors pads and one caliper. Upon putting the breaks on they "Found" that i also needed a Break Booster replaced. Once i finally got my jeep back $2,200 later. My break lights would not turn off even when car was off. After research I found that they broke the break light switch at the break peddle. So i had to replace that myself. THE NEXT day my breaks locked up.. I took it to a different shop to have the work done properly.. STAY AWAY I feel like I was robbed!!!!!! read more
