This has to be the best Jiffy Lube out there!!! I had just bought a new car, well new to me, and the transmission fluid was 3/8'' over the full mark. Freaking out not having anywhere to get rid of some transmission fluid knowing the longer I drive the car the greater the chance of wrecking the transmission. I decided to ask someone at the Jiffy Lube, I had asked at other places before Greasemonkey, and even other Jiffy Lube's. Being a little bit skeptical since I had been turned away before I was prepared to offer $10 dollars just to have some fluid drained. The car was 500 miles shy of an oil change, and didn't have the cash at the time to pay for an oil change. Donald said, " they would do that for me no problem". When it was all done I went to hand him the money. You can just guess what he said, I was so happy that really made my day. I used the money for some much needed gas at the time. I will never go back, first they told me I had oil in my Radiator which alarmed me so he said there was coolant in the oil, which I saw as the oil not being that black because I had just added oil so I said I will take it to a auto repair shop, then He said the clips are missing on the airbox, I told him there guys were the ones that checked it last, he looked for replacements but nothing. bottom line i took it to my mech in mount lake and he said head gasket is fine and did the oil change for $12 more then Jiffy lube. Dear Jiffy Lube #2598 (Murphy's Corner @ 128th and Bothell Everett Hwy), I want to commend a couple of people: Chris Vallery, Assistant Manager John Reichart - General Manager On Friday January 24th, 2014, I had problem with my car. I wasn't sure exactly what the problem was but I had taken my car in for an oil change 2 days prior. Something wasn't right, and I contacted Chris Vallery initially and told him that I would be coming up to discuss and he agreed that he would follow me back to my car about a mile away. He even provided a few oil pads and brought a bottle of degreaser. I want to thank these two for the exemplary service they provided. First off, Chris Vallery showed up and took a look at my car and at first glance appeared it may be a filter, but in reality I had another issue associated with my car, that was not related to the oil change. Chris helped take a look at the filter and verified a few things and was in contact with management at the local Jiffy Lube. I want to thank him for that, that was above and beyond and the service showed, as well as caring enough to do it immediately. He rushed over to take a look and was there to resolve the problem. That sort of responsibility is often not shown in these times, but I appreciated what he did under the circumstances, also immediately helping me contain and clean up. I consider these actions to be above and beyond. The follow up from General Manager John Reichart was also dually noted in that he followed up and also came to my car about a mile away to make sure everything was all right. In order to do the right thing, and fast, I am glad he was there. He even helped me follow my tracks and act fast. He helped with degrease and proved best business practice in order to get it right. Pads were appreciated, but then he also followed up on his way out to the spot I realized I had a problem. I am having some difficulties with some arthritis but his help was appreciated. He showed some strong leadership and took charge of responsibility, and in this situation to help me out and make it right. As a customer, I appreciate that a great deal. Again, I consider these actions to be above and beyond. I believe it is necessary to commend exceptional customer service in today's day and age. Don't get me wrong, if service is bad or something isn't right, I let management know. But likewise, when someone does something above and beyond, I think it is imperative to let others know, including management and potentially other customers. These guys helped out in a big way and I would just like to say Thank You, but also that it is commendable to see that level of follow up, dedication, and to help me the customer. They were there to determine the situation and to help me resolve the issue. There help was greatly appreciated. I hope this letter can make it to the appropriate people so they can recognize the dedicated employees that these two are. I would also like to say the friendly service (when I initially pulled up) which was someone other than Chris and John, was honest and just gave me the lead time in getting in (the wait) and though they were busy and I made 5 attempts (even passing by a Grease Monkey down the road that would have been easy to roll into) I can see why your bays were full. Just went across the street to pick up a few things from Fred Meyer and, by the time I walked back, my car was finished! I hate going to get maintenance done on my car. Getting the oil changed can take so long and I'm always wondering if they are going to try to sell me something I don't need? Well, your not going to find that at this place. They were straight forward and so quick. The machanics bring in your air filter and show you how clean or dirty it is. Mine was clean and didn't need to be changed. Another big plus for me was it took about 15 minutes. Right now they have an enrollment program where you give them your address and your third oil change is half price. Fast and friendly, didn't think that was possible at a car shop. read more

I was in a hurry so I paid the extra $10 vs. the local Honda dealer for an oil change. Uneventful is a good way to describe the process - drain oil and change filter for $29. I got the usual upsell, but didn't feel too pressured to buy them. Overall, they were fast and courteous. I gave them a 4 simply based on price alone. Cheaper elsewhere, but if you go during off hours, it's a fast process. read more

I have a 1984 300zx. They can be a little tricky when re-attaching the oil sensor wire. I drove in and everything worked fine. I started to drive out and noticed I had no oil pressure indicator working. They pulled it back into shop and corrected the simple mistake. Thanks Guys. You were mature and Professional. Service with a smile, and definitely some laughs. At any Jiffy Lube, you can expect to be presented with a half dozen options of things to repair/replace other than a simple oil change. That said, I felt like the manager handled himself honestly, shot straight about priorities, and even threw in some extra discounts. I even saw them vacuum the interior and wash my windows, which doesn't always happen at every Jiffy Lube. I'd prefer this location over another that is closer to my house any day. read more

My car was fine when I took it in, this was just a routine oil change. Left with the check engine light on. They ran a diagnostic, but they didn't know what any of it meant and said "probably computer problems". Finally took it into my mechanic and he told me that the air filter was put in wrong which ripped out some wires (hence the check engine light and the few other computer issues I was having)... I would seriously advise against going here for something as simple as an oil change. read more

I asked them to just change the oil and touch nothing else (THREE TIMES) Next thing I know the guy is inside trying to upsell me on air filters and wiper blades. I told him to just change the oil, NOTHING ELSE! I go to leave and notice that my stuff in my cubby had been gone through. I go to this place for regular oil change. The staff are courteous and do a good job. Recently, I had bought a replacement wiper blade from outside and tried to install myself at home. When I couldn't install properly, I took it to this place. They did it for me free of cost, even though I was ready to pay for the service. Overall, a good place for auto services. read more

I had a tail light out on my Toyota Avalon and swung by to see if they could fix it for me. They fixed it in less than 10 minutes (even with a line) and were super friendly and helpful. They even helped me test fixing my broken CD player by disconnecting my battery for a few minutes. Didn't work but I thought it was super nice of them to go out of their way. read more

I have been visiting this location for almost 5 years with both of our cars. I felt pretty good about taking my cars here because the guys were pretty friendly and things had been fine. That was until I had my oil topped-off back in October 2015. I was a bit concerned when the young man had trouble figuring out how to keep the hood up, at that point I should have stopped him. However, I didn't and after he added oil and closed my hood I went to Fred Meyer across the street to grab dinner. On my way home my car smelled awful, my engine light came on, and there was smoke coming from the hood. Once I got home I opened the hood to find that he forgot to put the oil cap back on and there was oil dripping from everywhere! My dad called Jiffy Lube and they said I wasn't in the system and no one remembered me visiting that location in the last 20 minutes. That was until I said what the kid looked like and read off my invoices from my other oil changes. I couldn't get my car in to be cleaned for 2 days and was out a car for the 3rd day while it was being cleaned. Not only did it smell bad but it was embarrassing to drive around with smoke coming from the hood. I was told they would do whatever to make it right, however after purchasing a new cap and getting my engine cleaned they haven't done anything to help me over the last 3 months. I have stopped by and talk to 3 different managers, Jared was the only one that seemed like he cared, and I think the old store manager got fired because someone new had taken over. None of the store managers offered a name or took down my information after my first visit which is bad customer service. I didn't want to get these managers in trouble but I will be contacting corporate now with hopes that this issue can resolved. read more
