My wife and I stopped by on our way home to redeem a coupon. It was first time at a jiffy lube. The $25 off coupon was the main reason for choosing and wanted to get my oil change done quickly. We were greeted fairly quickly as soon as we pulled up and were told that it would only take 15 min to complete. Unfortunately, it took about 45 min but a bit quicker than other places and I didn't need to make an appointment. I was also charged for antifreeze without notice/request so that's annoying but it was only $4. They also pointed out that I need to change some filers so that was helpful to know. read more

Great location, easy access, they always get me in and out however, on one occasion, they completely forgot to put the cap back on the oil from my oil change and oil spilled throughout the hood of my car, causing burning, a bad odor, and to this day over 30 days later, still an awkward smell I would not return to this location and will continue with going to the dealership for a proper oil change regardless of the cost. This was a bad example of untrained staff. read more

Be cautious when having your inspection done at jiffy lube on germantown next to Wendy's. My son's girlfriend took his car there and they told her that all four tires needed to be replaced in order to pass. When asked the measurement the inspector told her it was 1/32. He went to creamery tire and they measured 5/32,5/32,4/32 and 3/32. All legally passing as the law states legal is 2/32. When returning and talking to manager he stated it's the inspectors discretion. Took the vehicle to a dealership and it passed, had to argue to get the refund on the safety inspection. When in doubt check it out and verify. All I can say is they lost all four of my vehicles for an oil change going forward. read more

Came in for an inspection and they said my car needed $700+ in repairs to pass inspection, including a windshield wiper "streak" test failure and brake pads (which I replaced in the past 6 months). Sketchy business practice. Wasted my time and money and will not go back. Took my fail report and left, brought to a different inspection station (non-jiffy lube) and passed inspection. Update a few hours later: I have a Subaru crosstrek that comes with locking lug nuts. I didn't have the key so they told me they had to break the lug nuts and would replace them with normal ones. Ok, whatever, that's fine. I walk out to the car a few hours later to realize all four of my locking lug nuts were STILL on my car. Meaning... they never took off my wheels to do the inspection (and then claimed I failed for my brake pads and rotors) and THEN charged me for the "new" lug nuts!!!!! This place is AWFUL. read more

Took my car to get oil change on February 16, 2025. As part of the oil change service they check fluids, air cleaners, etc. They brought in the cabin air cleaner (which is located in back of glove compartment) which means they need to take out glove compartment. I decided to not get cabin air cleaner because they charge over $50 and I can get for $10. Much to my dismay, when I got home and my wife got in passenger side of car, she could barely get in as the glove compartment was just hanging and could not be closed. I finally moved glove compartment on floor so I could re-install later. When moving glove compartment to floor the long black piece of plastic that holds cabin filter in place fell on car floor, This does it for me, I will never go to a JIFFY LUBE for anything!!! read more

Went to do a state inspection, the manager completely ignored us walked over to his employee and said you take care of them. As if it was so painful for the MANAGER to help a customer. After, that the employee who gets sent over informs me most the workers are bums who just hide in the back or the office. I thought he was joking but he was dead on all the employees except him where awful. The girl who did my inspection tried to tell me my back brakes need fixing and it's going to be like 300$ a piece. I take it for a second quote at a different jiffy lube they said oh it's not the back brakes it's the front. I take it to my family mechanic and he says the brakes are fine and passed the inspection. Jiffy lube is full of scammer mechanics who take advantage of uneducated people for their own personal profit. Its clear no one from corporate has gone to that store to fix it in years. need an inspection? steer clear of this jiffy lube. at first, they failed my car for one-year-old front brakes, but refused to actually measure the brakes to prove that they had failed the standard. at this point, they told us that if we fixed the brakes and brought it back, they would pass it in under five minutes. we fixed the brakes, brought it back, and then they spent an hour re-inspecting the car (definitely not under five minutes), which they decided to fail for a stone in the tire tread claiming it was a nail. (note: the same tires passed the day before). this jiffy lube thrives on predatory business practices. there are much better (and cheaper) places to get your car inspected up and down the same road. do yourself a favor, go literally anywhere else. p.s. - if you get an oil change, make sure they put a sticker on it...because they also failed to do that for us. read more

On 6/15/23, I took my Audi Q3 here just for an oil change. Total: $104.93.  I raised the point that my previous oil change on 9/13/22 at this same location was $79.49 to be told that previously I was given a different oil but the oil I was now getting was for the winter season. I have never heard any bogus nonsense like this in my life.  Adding insult to injury was after my 6/15/23 oil change, my Audi started to leak...and leak oil until ultimately I had to get the oil changed again. I went to the Jiffy Lube at 5010 City Avenue 19131 who confirmed that the Jiffy Lube at 12 W. Germantown Pike 19401 did precisely what I had suspected - Jiffy Lube in Norristown damaged the oil cap.  I raised my complaint directly with Jiffy Lube but since these are independent franchises, they have ZERO accountability there's no recourse. Eventually at manager called me from  12 W. Germantown Pike 19401  and he was completely belligerent (possibly drunk) attempting to blame the oil plug/oil leak on my millage. More clown behavior from these people. Keep in mind that the most I drive is to the supermarket, and a few close errands because I have worked from home (like many people) since the pandemic.  DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, especially if it's a foreign car. Their customer service gives the impression they do not know what they're doing but they will mess your vehicle up! And you'll be left having to pay to resolve something they should have never done. You cannot "wing it" when it comes to someone's vehicle.  I would instead recommend Anzor's Auto Repair at 9410 Clark Street, 19115 because they replaced the oil plug and told me never to take my car back to these clowns again. read more

On 3rd time back told it is from a turbo leak unrelated to the oil change. When asked why no one saw the turbo leak before the answer was "no one probably looked up there before" thanks for nothing James. That is not ok. On my first time back after oil change someone should've actually checked the car thoroughly. Instead I was asked if it could have been water. Because I guess I look too dumb or too female to know the difference between water and motor oil. I pay $90 for oil changes at this place and I have a leaking car with no help. read more

Visited this location earlier March this year for an needed oil change. Fast forward several months later for the following due oil change. This time visiting my usual mechanic shop, I discover my oil pan is leaking at the dryer plug to it being stripped. Mechanic, denied me service and stated return to the last shop to have them fix the issue. Explained to the manager at the this location about the problem, there solution was to use a foam sealant to stop the leak. Now 6 months+ after the initial visit, oil pan continues to leak, creating saturation in the undercarriage. Called this jiffy lube location once again, and now I'm told since it has been 3 months after the service, nothing can be done. Called customer service and waited in the queue for 20 mins just to be sent to a voice mail box. Horrible service, never again will use this location yet alone this company. read more

and inspection 4/30/24 and was told that I was due for an oil change. Jiffy lube did not put a sticker on the windshield and didn't notice it. I thought that I still had time. Nevertheless, I went to the jiffy lube this evening at approximately 6:30 to explain that the oil change I had gotten was not detected by the dealership and that any maintenance should be put into the system. Then myself and the young man in training discussed the type of oil that was put in. I was confused because my car does not take full synthetic oil. Nevertheless, I was trying to understand about the blend that was used etc. I usually go to the dealer no questions asked. The YOUNG man that I spoke with said " like I told you five times already..." He passed me on to a very courteous man by the name of Marcus and walked away abruptly. Marcus was able to make me understand completely and answered what other questions that I had. I come from a customer service background and NO I don't believe that the customers always right. I was only trying to understand. I wasn't making any demands, raising my voice or the like. These young people have no work ethic or respect but yet they want a job. Not sure if I'll return there unless I'm in dire need and can't get in a the dealer. Or better yet gonyo another quick lube place. I am throughly perturbed by this experience. I can't even say disappointed because these attitudes are far to common now days. read more

DO NOT take your car here! HIGHLY deceptive. One of my drivers only went in for an oil change and state inspection. They sold our Fleet company on needing all new tires & brakes, rotors all the way around. This was inspected by a manger recently & tires were fine. Brakes felt fine. Over $1800 later the vehicle done. They wouldn't give the Fleet company the brake pad measurements which tells me, they're adding brakes that weren't needed. They also tried charging a higher than normal amount for some of the items. The fleet company had to go back & tell them to come back with a better price because it wasn't in line with the general cost. read more

I found myself at Jiffy Lube today since I was slightly overdue for an oil change. I'd never been to a Jiffy Lube before, but the technicians quickly put me at ease and their office guy, Jake, escorted me to the waiting area/lobby. I got the regular oil change ($35.99) with a coolant top off($4) for about $45; the difference here though is that unlike other places that only do a 5qt oil change (which puts me a quart low right off the bat), they will automatically fill your oil to what it should be (even if they do charge you for the extra quart over the regular 5). The lobby area is really nice as well; they have really nice seats as well as coffee and a popcorn machine! Jake was also super helpful. He did try to upsell on my oil change, but he showed me the filters that needed changing and why they needed changing instead of just expecting me to take his word for it. Once I told him I was on a budget, he dropped it, so kudos for that. I had a great experience here, was in and out quick, and was treated like a valued customer (even though it was my first visit). I brought my car in for an oil change, new air filter and to refill ALL my fluids. Prior to me bringing my car in, I had absolutely no overheating issues with my car, when I drove up to the shop, prior to service, no one pointed out anything out of the ordinary or mentioned any leaks. Ever since I've left the shop, I cannot drive my car for 5 minutes until it overheats. I called the shop and they told me to bring it back to look at it. When I drove up they said they can smell & see the coolant leaking. They looked at it and said it was crack in coolant hose & they don't know how it got there but it "could be pressure from putting new coolant in and causing a crack" & somehow conveniently after I left the shop it was 100% my fault whatever happened to my car. They refused to tell me the name of mechanic that worked on my car because they said they don't know, so I asked how can they confirm or deny any wrongdoing if they don't even know the person that worked on my car. One of the mechanics became very erratic & rude after I told him I've been a customer for quite sometime he said he didn't care & he's been working there for over a year and never saw me so it's not his problem. I asked to speak to someone else, the mechanic told me to go ahead and that the other man was just gonna tell me the same thing & that it was pointless, which funny part is he didn't, he told me the crack was in a different location. The first mechanic showed me the crack and it was at the top as soon as you open the hood you can see, but the second mechanic said it's at the bottom and someone would have to be underneath my car for it to happen & again couldn't tell me who worked on my car. Second mechanic told me my car was really old and that because I'm a woman I most likely don't take care of my car, even though I get routine oil changes from jiffy lube and tune ups from my mechanic, who I had to call while I was there just to prove a point, he said that routine oil changes & tune ups don't matter. I've trusted them with my car on multiple occasions, this shop specifically and now I'll never come back again & let it be known how they treat customers and their horrible service. Then the district manager contacted me with a completely different story, said they didn't touch my coolant because it was 100% full. Which doesn't make sense because that car is my daily driver, so the coolant would HAVE to been used. But it also proves that I didn't have a leak prior to coming to the shop! He didn't care and said he would fix it but I would have to pay for parts and labor, I told him I'd rather go to a TRUSTED mechanic to fix and I'll never come back here again! read more

Never go to this place. I was looking for a quick oil change before a long trip and couldn't get to the dealer so I thought this I'd try here. They brought me to the waiting room, said they would talk to me once the car was brought inside. They bring the car in and immediately start checking filters, etc. I told them to stop, only looking for an oil change, so they put the filters back, along with greasy fingerprints all over my interior. If you are gonna wear gloves, at least change them once in a while! Now the guy comes in an starts to get my info, which I told him was unnecessary as I only want an oil change. (think cash customer, not a marketing prospect). Then he springs the synthetic oil change price of $90 on me. I told him I was not paying that much for a $25 oil change. Who in their right mind pays $90 for an oil change? Nowhere are the prices listed so I would have known this ahead of time. I told him I wanted to take my car without having any services performed. He then tells me they already drained the oil from my car. WHAT? Told them we have an issue now, I was not paying $90 and they had to right this wrong. They threw in some oil, and didn't charge me. No idea what oil the put in, or if they changed the oil filter. Deceptive. Shady. This is akin to going into a restaurant, being brought the most expensive thing on the menu and told you had to pay for it, when all you wanted was a burger. Oh, and they took your car keys so you can't just leave. Not sure if this is JIffyLube or this franchise's policy to be so shady, but its not the way to run a business. I have had some horrible experiences of waiting for hours to get my oil changed and have always had a good experience at this location. You can expect them to try and up-sell/recommend all kinds of other services, but they're never pushy about it. It's quick and there's is popcorn in the lobby! That gets an explanation point even when I don't like popcorn. It's easy to find $5 off coupons... after that, it's $32 for the basic oil change. read more

Great experiences here. I've been back to this Jiffy Lube multiple times and they have always been extremely transparent and willing to go the extra mile. Usually it will take longer than they first quote but the prices are reasonable and they get the job done as quickly as they can. I drive an Audi 2003 A4 convertible during summer months. I love the car and got it for a great deal a year ago but of course it has issues here and there which I knew and didn't mind making it a hobby while driving a pretty car. I have had such headaches because usually car shops don't tell you ANYTHING! They help you but expect you to do the most expensive stuff out there just to get their money or do the job and don't tell you what else could be wrong. These people, especially Bob, told me so much about this car and what I should do that I have hope. I was at my end and told my partner I was going to get rid of it because I didn't have time for this. After ONLY $200 for a flush, oil change, filter change and some other things, my oil pressure light was finally off, the car drives like it was on ice. He also told me instead of doing a transmission drop ($600 to see what is wrong with your transmission) that the transmission pan has a leak and that I might have to replace that which makes me think about just doing a transmission fluid exchange and a pan replacement. Cost is also a few hundred $ but at least that will be done and who knows, maybe my check engine light will be off. I now know that the person who had this beauty before me was a spoiled brat and didn't care, just looking at all the slush that came out of the engine SMH. These guys have taught me that it doesn't always have to cost a lot of money to get your car to run great. Thank you all for the help, the excellent service, the care for my car and me, just for everything! I wish you guys would be able to work on it, I would have 100% trust! I always thought Jiffy lube was a cheap drive through, fast oil change place, now I will make this the place to be for oil changes, flushes, any other services they can provide for me, advice and great service. It's slightly more money than the local garage, but I like the convenience of not needing an appointment. They run diagnostics, likely in the event that they can upsell, but they are never, ever pushy about it. I never leave having spent more than I wanted or could. Everyone at this location is so courteous...they escort you into the waiting area, inform you of the magazines, coffee and restroom and then escort you to the car and close the door once you are in. Seems like a little thing, but when customer service seems to have gone by the wayside in most places, these little touches are a welcome surprise. read more

Really? The biggest worry for me was leaving my car with my wife when it had a flat spare tire. Oil change was secondary. Having asked that before entering the store I thought it was taken into consideration...but NO. They tell me to wait for a long queue just because they missed it? Don't make frowning/sad/angry faces at your customers please. And what do u do finally is unfinished work? keep the spare in my trunk without the nut & screw bolted? Will never visit again. read more
