I needed brakes and I saw their sign advertising they provide this service. I pulled in and they immediately inspected my brakes. I was told that I needed front brakes, as I had suspected. Pulled into your Oak Forest location on 159th and all four stalls were full but only 1 car was being worked on. I waited behind the 1st stall because the door was half up but an associate walked under, from outside, and closed it. I was never greeted nor instructed. I subsequently backed into a parking spot to wait for a stall to open. Once the stall opened where the car was actively being worked on, after waiting 15 minutes, I pulled up and a rep came out and asked what service I needed. I responded an oil change and he said we don't have time, we're closing in less than 10 minutes and we have to clean the stalls. I asked why didn't you come to my car and inform me while I was waiting and he said we didn't know if you needed anything, people park in our lot all the time. I was the only car there and I waited behind a stall before parking which should've indicated that I needed service. This was a poor experience and I will not return to patronize this business. Customer service training is highly encouraged for this team of 6-7 who only had 1 customer and failed to acknowledge their 2nd client. They are costing you money. A manager should be on site until closing to ensure this doesn't happen to other patrons! read more

At 5pm yesterday (12/21/23) I went in for an oil change and they popped my tire while pulling it out of the garage. I heard it pop and I heard another tech react to it. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. The tech handed me the keys and opened my car door for me as if nothing happened. The tire light was on but since has been extra cold recently it has been on for days so I didn't think much of it. I drove straight home (a half mile away) and first thing in the morning as I went to leave for work this is what I found. I missed a whole day of work and now they won't even answer the phone. Thank God I only drove home and didn't get on the highway not realizing that they popped my tire (a tire that's less than five months old). Showed up at 5:25pm today, sat there without an employee approaching for about 7-10min. When an employee came up it was 5:33pm and I was told that they wouldn't have time to fit me in due to they need time to clean the shop up in order to leave at 6:00pm. This isn't the first time this has happened at this location, Oak Forest on 159th St. At any business the customer is serviced until closing time, not cut off a half an hour early to clean the shop so the employee can leave at closing time. If that's the case, closing time should be changed to 5:30pm. Very disappointed in the customer service and when I tried to explain to the employee, he ignored me and walked away from me as I was in the middle of speaking. Very unprofessional and unacceptable and down right rude. Whose overseeing these employees? I called as we drove away to speak with a manager or ask for a number of someone I can speak to and no one answered the phone. Just unbelievable. I came to Oil N' Go, right down the street, it's now 5:47pm and they are taking us with no problem, they close at 6:00pm as well. Been going here ever since the one in Palos Heights closed. I just got burned after my dealership tried to charge me $55+tax for changing a headlight. Only got charged $27 here and didn't wait longer than 10 minutes even though they had 3 people in the waiting room with me. read more

Evryone here was nice! I wanted to stress that! I mainly spoke with Mikell who wasn't pushy like many other jiffy lubes I've gone to. He was very friendly and personable and recommended some services but didn't try to force any of them on me. He let me use the coupon from the internet off my phone and gave me a $10 off coupon for next time! On my last oil change I purchased a new engine air filter because the old one was damaged. Took my car in for repairs recently and on the diagnostic they noticed that there was no engine air filter. So I drove my car for 5,000 miles with no filter. I'll be lucky if there's no damage to my engine because of this. I've seen multiple reviews saying similar things, I would stay away. After taking my car here For an oil change, there has been a weird smell coming through my vents every time I cut my car on that's last about 4min. I went on the verge of closing time. Very disappointed. Initially i wanted to go somewhere else but because its close to my job i decided to go. The assistant manager was careless and was goofying around with other co-workers while doing my oil change. He put oil on my car which I am still trying to get off my window. When asking to give me some kind of discount for my next visit he seemed upset which i do not know why he would be since it was him who put the oil on my car. I am continuously trying to get the oil off my window when taking my window up and down. I will not go to this place again. Took my car in for an oil change on Tuesday. Today brought my car in to mechanic. When he lifted it on the car lift, he showed me how much oil was leaking because the oil drain plug was never tightened. None of the fluids were filled, I was low on everything. .. . including the coolant I paid extra $ to fill up. I purchased the high mileage oil , but at this point who knows what's really in there. Had my oil changed here. They drained my oil and forgot to put fresh oil in. Drove without oil in my engine for a few miles pulled over because my engine overheated. This was a very interesting experience. I called the day before close to the end of the business day asking service staff about a vehicle inspection. I was told that other services take precedence so bring my car in at 7:30 a.m. the next morning which is what I did which was a Friday, one of their busiest days. When staff arrived, I explained the reason for my visit. I talked with Al, the manager who informed me that I was given the wrong information and that these inspections are usually done on Sundays. Despite customers coming in, Al took the time to do the inspection because he is the only certified person that was there that day to do that service. He was very thorough, talked to me about suggestions of what my car needs which I appreciated. What I noticed most was how friendly the staff was. I was escorted from my car to the waiting area for the beginning of service. The manager escorted me out to my car when the service was done. No auto service business has ever done that. When my keys were returned to me, I was wished a "blessed" day which I felt the sincerity. I appreciated that as well. Hard working staff and glad that even though I was there on a Friday and not a Sunday, I was taken care of with class regardless. read more

Now I get $10 off coupons in the mail pretty often which I can use on my return visits. They will top of your oil for free in between oil changes if you happen to have a leak. After taking my car in for an oil change on October 10th the dipstick broke. They tried to fix it that day and couldn't, asked me to come back Monday and they would replace the dipstock and the tube the dipstick goes in. I went back and of course they didn't have the part had to go back Tuesday for them to work on it for an hour, they replaced the dipstick but not the tube. They pull the car out and the battery light is on now. Have to go back in to tell them then after another half hour they realized they had hit the plug to the alternator. Not too professional Did not check air tire pressure. Did not clean windows. Although my receipt said yes to those things. Apparently did not order the part for Monday also.. So 3 trips to Jiffy Lube in Oak Forest and not even a sorry from any of the workers there or a discount. The "mask required" signs are just for show also, only on my 3rd day there was 1 guy wearing one. Not good customer service at all read more

Stopped in here on Memorial day to get an oil change before vacation. There were two employees working on some car and they seemed bothered that I stopped in. The oil change was quick although I was disturbed to here one of them yell "STOP" when they turned the car on to check for leaks. I got the party line about the Signature service, blah-blah, but none of the fluids were topped off, the floors were not vacuumed and the windows were not cleaned. If I didn't have a coupon and pressed for time, I would have cared more. I wont be going back to this location. read more

Went there for an oil change didn't want to accept a 15 dollar downloaded coupon he said he could give me 10 dollars off so I said ok. Was watching through the window seen the guy put the oil in and never seen him check dipstick. Then the guy who rang me up tells me they vacuumed the car and cleaned Windows. I tell him that they didn't have to vacuum because my car had a lot of bottles all over, he says we do it anyway. Now I get in my car and notice car was never vacuumed and Windows never done either. So I get home and I say to myself if they didn't do that maybe they never really changed oil. Pop the hood pull out the dipstick but it was dark and the stick in my car is black so I could not see it. My windshield fluid never filled, so now I'm telling myself again if they did not do these simple things I should worry. The next day I call them and I ask them if they really changed the oil because I told them you said you did all these other things and you didn't. They say of course we did, but I was still skeptical because i was on a distant business trip. Now I check the dipstick in the daytime and it looks like it is way over the max oil. I call them back and tell the person on the line that they overfilled my oil and the idiot tells me it is better to have more oil than less. I immediately tell him the extra oil could blow my head gaskets, and then he is speechless. So since I was out of town I went to a Jiffy Lube in Crawfordsville Indiana, I explained my situation to John and he said don't worry I'll look at it for you. John was very Professional and honest, he said that it was overfilled by almost 1 quart. He said don't worry we'll drain out the overfill, thank God for John and his honesty. These guys in Oak Forest have no disregard for your car, my car is less than a year old. I'm paying a lot of money for it and if they can't do what they know best change oil then there is something wrong. I keep up on my maintenance on my car so it will last a long time. not to go in a lube shop and have them hurt my car. Who ever owns this shop I want to tell you, you have a rats nest in there that is not doing their job. I have owned my own businesses and I'll tell you if it was my shop this would never of happened if your bread and butter is changing oil. read more

I was very disappointed in having my cars oil changed here. They informed after they drained the oil from my car that it was recommended I get the premium oil service. I explained that I did not want it and was informed that they could not put anything other than that in my car because it would void my warranty. Then I ask why was it "recommended"?? They need to look up the definition of this word. Upon returning home and calling the dealer, I was informed it was not necessary to have the premium oil put into my car and would not void my warranty as long as I used a certified synthetic oil. Beware of this place, they will try and make you pay the higher price when it is not necessary. I proceeded to tell them I did not have the amount they wanted to charge me and interestingly enough, they took $15 off the price. Why is it you cannot trust businesses today? Oh, and another interesting fact, the dealers price for an oil change was $44.99 vs $69.99 this place wanted to charge me. Check with your dealer before going to one of these drive through service places. You could end up saving a good chunk of change!! read more
