Wife took care in for an oil change in June. Got an email 2 days ago that the oil filter was defective and it leaks. The email said to bring it back to the store and they would provide a new oil filter and oil change free of charge. Wife just called. They told her since it was not actually leaking, it wouldn't be free. So they charged her for an oil change we didn't need! Wife has been properly educated. But got ripped off. UPDATE: before she left this business, they told her if she paid $55 for a filter and tire rotation, they would give her the oil filter and oil change for free. Wish she would have called me. So they take a recall visit, and sell her a service we didn't need to get the recall fixed for free?!? Seems like fraud to me. read more

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and was cautious since I'd seen bad reviews for this location from last year, but I had a great experience with the mechanics. Cody, Austin and Robert were all very thorough while doing their job and Paul (the manager) even showed me the air filter when I asked for them to check it. They were all very polite, professional and friendly. The service was also pretty quick as well. I went first thing when they opened today. Tire rotation cost about $25 for anyone curious. Why 1 star? Because They don't care about the quality if their work. I went in for a basic oil change. 5W20 standard oil. No synthetic or synthetic blend. My out the door charge for what they call a "Signature Service Oil Change" was a little over $50.00. I was on the way to an appointment so I didn't have time to check the car over. Now I have oil spots in different areas if the garage where I parked the car this weekend. I had to clean my windows which by the way is part of this Signature Service. Also l, they didn't top off my windshield washer fluid or coolant which all needed to be filled to their respective full levels. Finally, the inside wasn't vacuumed which is also part of the Signature Service. Ill attach a few oics. It's unbelievable how lazy the team working there on 9-22-18 was. Jiffy Lube: You should take corrective action. Uodate: I wish I could give a half star based on the managers response. Pictures of your employees performing a service doesn't mean it was done correctly. My pictures show the poor quality of this locations work. My car AC wasn't working while we were driving from Chicago to Fort Myers. We stopped at one Jiffy Lube and Darryll directed us to to this other shop as his AC machine wasn't working. We were met by Matt who quickly knew what to do. He said our AC had too much freon in it and won't work with an overfill or underfill. Matt "restored the balance" and we were on our way with an ice cold AC running in 25 minutes! Great service, great facility, great results! Thank you Matt! read more

Personally, I had a great experience. I read the reviews prior and I didn't have any issues. The staff was nice and helpful. I went in for an oil change. My car was completely cleaned upon leaving. In and out within 30 minutes. They have coupons on their website as well. I would recommend if you're in the area and need a service done. read more

Interesting that every 5 star review uses all the same language (20 min, clean lobby, efficient). Fake perhaps? Because all of the rest of the reviews are 1 Star. My teen took her car in for her first oil change. 2018 Chevy trax with 28,000 miles. They sold her an $80 oil change (according to them "the required oil change on her car") after applying a $7 coupon, she spent $87. For a 4qt oil change. An hour later she spent her entire paycheck and hit the road. We called to speak to the manager "James". He immediately knew who we were and was defensive that she should have asked for other options. At the end of the day it's a lesson learned. Next time she'll go to the dealer where it's $55 for the same service, and I'll never go to Jiffy Lube again. read more

I went in for a basic oil change. Came out and they said I had metal on metal brakes and needed new rotors. I've work on vehicles before so I went home and got to looking at them myself. I have literally half of my pads left on every wheel. Rotors are completely fine. The fact that a place lies to upsell is beyond stupid. Do not recommend them at all. read more

Went in here because my go to place was booked up till Tuesday and I got a little road trip before then. Immediately drive up and they take my vehicle into shop which is good quick service. 10 minutes in they ask for additional information--part of that is the up-sell brief. I'll admit it was mostly educational and FYI stuff; dude said that my car (keep in mind my vehicle is a year old only) should be using their $80 oil choice. I'm like bruh I went to the dealership where this car was made for my first oil change and they said the oil that it usually takes is around $49. Anyways I took their $49 option but I was a little disappointed in the salesmen-ship. I get it, sales is hard but you will make up for it with building a returning customer base. Give them what they want and if they need more they will tell you but first you gotta build that trust; don't up-sell new customers, trust me it never works. I typically visit two other Jiffy Lube locations near my house, and I have usually dreaded visiting them because the staff there have always been persistent on pushing unnecessary services on me and taking 1-1.5 hours to complete an oil change. Since I was already in Odessa when my "service engine" light came on, I decided to visit this location since it was nearby. I have to say- I have never received such excellent service at a Jiffy Lube as I did with this location. I was greeted so kindly when I approached, walked into the (extremely clean) waiting area, my options were provided to me, and they had me in and out so quickly that I didn't even have time to start some of the work that I brought inside to do. This location really respects their clients, their time, and provides such a welcoming environment. I will happy drive here every time to have my oil changed from hereon out. My receipt says Kenneth K., Amanda T., Eric H., and Peter C. were the associates who serviced my vehicle so I want to send a thanks their way! read more
