I stopped by after church for an emissions test. It was so great to find a place that does them on Sundays. There were several other customers there when I arrived. All there for different things. I was fortunately the first in line for an emissions test. The employees were super kind, respectful, thoroughly explained their findings and made suggestions and didn't try to take advantage and upsell me on anything. I wish I'd caught the names of the two gentlemen that helped me. Note this place as a place that quickly and professionally does emissions tests and definitely make note that they are one of the few places that do them on Sundays. Great professional workers here. Single women, all have no fear. Not too pricey if u get any additional services but that of course depends on what u get. read more

Just came in for an oil change. I was the first customer in the lounge today. It was pretty dirty. Needed vacuuming and trash removal. Manager, Stephen T was nice. I had a hard time hearing him but he didn't seem to mind repeating himself. I planned to use the restroom, but was dissuaded by its condition. Filthy sink, overflowing trash and roach roaming! Stephen couldn't remember who the manager was that closed on Aug 22, but I imagine he'll look into it. I was disappointed that they don't vacuum cars as part of their service any more. Like always, I wait till the last minute to get my state inspection done in order to get my vehicle registration done for the year. I just looked up state inspection close to home and this Jiffy Lube popped up. I came in without an appointment. There were a few people ahead of me in this very small office. There were lots of employees not working on things. I feel like they could've helped the nice lady in front expedite the customers. Once it was my turn, I was told to bring my car around to the bay. They checked my paperwork and started my inspection. From the time to being helped till my car was done was super quick. In and out minus the wait in the beginning. They also offer cold water bottles to keep you hydrated. Definitely recommend for your state inspection needs. read more

I've been taking my car to Jiffy Lube for oil changes for a long time, but recently, I started to suspect they were recommending unnecessary services. For example, they had me replace my brakes in December 2023. Then, when I went back in May 2024 and again in November 2024, they told me I needed new brakes again. I'm not inexperienced when it comes to cars--I know brakes are supposed to last based on mileage and driving habits. I'm retired, and I barely drive my car, mostly just short trips around Pearland since everything I need is nearby. I bought the car in 2023 with 38,000 miles on it, and now it has just 57,000 miles. To be sure, I took my car to get a second opinion, and guess what? No brakes were needed! That's the last time I ever use Jiffy Lube! read more

Probably the worst Jiffy lube I EVER went to! They told me they couldn't work on my car because they couldn't pop my hood open? I've actually never had a problem opening up my hood to my car . It seemed like they didn't really try. All these guys standing around and not doing anything. I was the only customer there. Very disappointed and won't be going to that location. Was one of the first people in line, store opened an hour late; asked for oil change car was placed in stall; about 45 minutes later I was told my state inspection was not due for over 90 days. I explained I was not there for a state inspection, which was evident from looking at my current sticker and newer model vehicle. So my vehicle was later removed from the stall and placed behind everyone else's. So much for being early, I am concerned it was because I was LATINO.... Not sure why I was told to stay positive after they were done, I didn't mention anything negative or complained. Almost felt intentional. read more

I stopped by for a state inspection. Luckily they weren't too busy since it's a Sunday (bonus for being open on Sundays). The staff is nice, but seemed at times not super professional (I don't know how to explain it, but just the way they were acting when I drove up...seemed like they were playing around). The gentleman who showed me to the lobby told me where the bathrooms are and the coffee bar so that was nice. I waited maybe 15-20 minutes. When my car was ready, the guy who inspected my car left his empty used coffee cup in my console. Luckily I noticed it before I drove off, but I had to walk back in and throw it away. I hope that's not something that goes on on a regular basis because that's not okay. Edit: I didn't notice yesterday but when I was driving today (particularly on the freeway), the hood was shaking. Turns out they didn't close the hood all the way so it was loose. Thank God it stayed latched while I was driving! Between that and the coffee cup in my car, they're now getting two stars. read more

Wow, where to start. I went for a simple inspection. They skipped two cars ahead of me in line. Then, after an hour of waiting, they tried to sell me about $500 with of BS. After 20 more minutes, they told me they didn't do the inspection... They couldn't find the OBI port in my car, and went so far as to tell me it's been removed... I went to my normal place, and was done in 10 minutes. This place is trash. -24/10. read more

The staff here are very unprofessional. If I could give this place zero stars I would. If you're coming in for a State Inspection expect to be pushed back to the very end of the line. they will of course get the other customers that they know they could get more money out of. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in for an oil change. They suggested I get my brake fluid flushed, so I agreed. (Deandre was the brake tech, stay away from this guy! Didn't even apologize or anything) I left there with ZERO brake fluid which means I had ZERO brakes. Luckily I didn't die nor did I kill anyone from an accident. Come to find out they didn't have any brake fluid. The mechanic had to go to AUTOZONE to get some. What the actual hell. I'm still in shock this happened to me. Then the lead mechanic Travis was even hesitant to refund me the brake fluid flush. I continued to write an incident report due to the seriousness of this issue and how no one there took this serious at all. The only people who went above and beyond for us was Devin and Ray. Awesome location. Quick to help and great customer service. I went to another oil change company who used air tools to change my oil filter and I couldn't get it off. Got a "signature service" oil change and they forgot to replace a gasket so my oil leaked and smelled (burnt). Had to take it to my local shop to figure out the problem and get a new gasket. Awesome customer service and very informative. I called the day before to get rates on the work I needed and said I'd come the next day. I arrived when they opened and they were able to take me right away. While there, multiple people came in and out. I was told it would take about an hour and half, but they finished earlier. This place stinks! Worst mechanics on the planet. They are beyond aweful. I use to take my cars there and always had quality service. They rocked back in the day, then came a Management change. It's like going from having life to being near dead. I took my Cadillac there for a tune up, oil change, inspection, fix lights, add brake pads if needed, coolant leak and some other items. I left the car for over 3.5 hours. Return nothing fixed. They pretended they changed the oil, yet my indicator shows no change. Save your time, money and effort. Not worth the drama. read more

If I could give a 0 I would, went in for a state inspection and the tech said I failed due to power steering leak and need a new belt. Mind you these things are not requirements for an inspection. This Jiffy Lube doesn't really have the best location, which might explain why there's hardly ever anyone here, but that is just fine with me since it means I can usually get in and out of here in a reasonable time. The guys are quick, courteous, and don't try and screw you over on the little add ons. Granted, I'm never going to be mistaken for a grease monkey, but I can tell a dirty air filter from a clean one, and appreciate that these guys don't try sell me one every time I go in. What happen to the management ? I loved coming here because they were so friend and helpful. No they seem rude and not helpful. They would usually fill my tires with air while I was getting an oil change and now they don't. My air pressure in my tires clearly needed some air. The staff is nice & goes into great detail when discussing your car. But I had to come back the next day after waiting 1hr 1/2 because they couldn't get the drain cap off for the oil change since the 1 mechanic that could handle this was gone for the day. However, because I'm a returning customer and because I had to come back the next day, they waived the oil change fee which I appreciated. They saw me pull up and they waited on me before the other cars so I wouldn't have to wait long. It was only about a 30min wait this time. I was in the area taking my dog to the vet and needed a quick inspection! They got me in and out in about 20 minutes! So 4 stars for me! Just because of quick it was. The only downside is the inside kinda looks dingy but I was out of there fast so I didn't care. They have a Keurig machine there available if you need coffee. I went to this location on 6/8/18 and got new windshield wipers , oil change, and my air filter changed. I noticed that my car was a little louder than normal and looked under my hood to notice that my clips to the filter were missing. I called and was advised to come back today when I called to let them know about the error , when I got there the guy had a very nasty attitude , and went to the back to go call his manager , when i went inside after him he went outside to make sure i didn't hear his conversation , he was very unprofessional and told me that i have to come back tomorrow while the manager is there because they can't find my clips , the associate didn't give me back my receipt and didn't want to help me at all . after they fix my car , I will never go back to this location again , if I could have rated it less than a 1 star I would have. read more

Stopped by this location today for an oil change and they weren't busy at all. I called before arriving and spoke to Ray-Ann where she explained everything included in their signature oil change. While they were doing their inspection they came and told me my back brakes were metal to metal which was incorrect because they were just changed last month. After I checked out and got inside my car I noticed that they had placed the paper floor mats down in front of the driver and passenger seat but my car had not been vacuumed. I told the salesman that my car wasn't vacuumed and he begins to tell me that they did but if your car is really dirty they try to vacuum as much as they can. I proceed to tell him again my wasnt vacuumed and at this point we're still in the garage so he turns around and ask the men in the garage did they vacuum bay 2 and they replied NO. The service I received today was poor and the staff appeared to be very lazy. There was no excuse for the lcservice I received because they weren't busy at all. 12/2/2020: Received a call from the supervisor Ray-Ann following up about my review and she definitely made the situation better. Went to Jiffy Lube for a simple oil change, and they ended up telling me i needed over $300 worth of work done on my car. Needless to say I don't trust Jiffy Lube to do the work (or even accurately assess the situation). I thought the staff seemed a little older/more professional than the last time I was there, until I got into my car and realized someone had STOLEN ALMOST ALL OF MY CHANGE from my cup holder. I agree with the other reviewer, can I give this place a negative star??? I've come to this location many many times. They know me and my vehicle. Tyler even noticed during my tire rotation that I had 3 nails in 2 of my tires. He printed and highlighted which tires they were so that when I took it back to Discount Tire, they would know exactly which tires to fix. Went in to redeem my Groupon purchased for an oil change. Nothing spectacular about the customer service, although I must say the actual service itself was extremely fast! To be honest this location is hit or miss. I think a lot of it has to do with management. I've been there MANY times and sometimes its GREAT service and sometimes it's just ok. I only really come to Jiffy Lube to get my state inspections done and it's really straightforward when you're getting a more more modern OBDII car and they just need to plug in to the computer to run the tests on it. But when you have an older OBDI car that requires them to run the emissions test on their Dyno, i've had to come back 5-7 times last year because the dyno was either having issues or was out of fuel. The only reason i didn't go anywhere else was because they had already started my inspection and that was the last part that needed to be done, and plus I had already paid. Needless to say my car failed, and I suspect issues with their dyno, and they finally had to send me to another Jiffy Lube where it passed. Go figure. In general the staff are friendly, but I've also been there when I've noticed them fooling around with one another. There is a big window where the customers can watch what they're doing and it was obvious the other customers in the waiting room noticed this and were expressing their frustration. My last visit was quick and easy and this was around 3pm in the afternoon before the after work rush. As I mentioned earlier, it's hit or miss and just depends on management.
