Can I give this place a negative star? Awful service and so slow. When I drove up into a bay, I asked how long would this take (I was trying to get out of town before the traffic got bad). They told me,"15 minutes." Awesome---- NOT! They backed my car out and pulled another car into my place. And then did their typical " you need a new air filter and wiper blades". Oh heck no, I just want my oil changed so I can get out of town! I left 45 minutes later. Slow service, lying technicians just to force you to stay. Do not go here! There is a place just down the street that will do an oil change and full car wash/vacuum for just a little more. read more

My first time at this location I was serviced by Elijah couple of months ago for an oil change! He was so awesome, patient, and quick! I came up there again bc something felt weird about my car and he right away took and was able to give me some transmission oil. I wasn't there longer than 15 mins! I love love love coming to this location bc he's always so efficient and is so professional and nice! I will ALWAYS come to this location! All the staff is great there as well. :) read more

Luckily I was replacing the "front blinker" to my Toyota Tundra and noticed oil all over the motor, exhaust filter, etc. It was due to the oil cap was not installed. Review the work that these idiots do. I will never go back to under trained and slow working kids. They need to go back to jack in the box! read more

The employees were all very nice, though I was miss quoted on how long it would take for an oil change and had to leave and come me back. Arrived at 7:50 Saturday morning and they open at 8 a.m. Before I arrived at the front door, someone was already approaching my and asked me what they can do. I told them a old change asked for my key. They started to work before their schedule time. I was out there in 30 minutes. I am not a big fan of jiffy lube because of the upscales, but since my regular place where I get my oil change already have 15 cars in front of me when I got there at 7, I had to go somewhere else. It is good place to go because you can tell from the parking lot and the garage bays if the busy are not.. read more

Employees lack basic mechanical knowledge. They may have the minimum training to change oil, but beyond that I found that they didn't have much beyond a casual knowledge of cars. They seemed to me to be completely apathetic about my vehicle and their customers. read more

Some mechanics there are just absolutely rude. All I requested was for the little boy not to put my keys on a wet surface. The little fellow instead of handing the key to his fellow mechanic just drops it. I guess he must have felt good narrating his achievement to his buddies after work. It was a simple request and he acted as if I had told him to calculate the displacement ratio of my engine!!!! I thought this was going to be a smooth and easy process like it always has. The 1 star is not for the service because the workers are usually helpful and nice. This one experience however forced me to explain why my experience today was absolutely horrible. I was patient in waiting for an oil change, an inspection, and a tire rotation and I had noticed my car parked at the front for some time after an hour or so, but I know they always call me up when it's time to be rung up. However, they didn't yet so I kept waiting patiently, not trying to be the guy that starts asking too many questions and being annoying. After almost 5 hours was passing and noticed my car had not moved at all I had to ask politely, how much longer is it going to take? Surprise surprise. It's been done. And the guy working the register decides to close me out. I just don't understand. I know the workers see me. How did they not notice I've been there for over 4 1/2 hours?! I work too. I'm not ignorant. The workers are helpful and nice and never have attitude generally but today was the worst experience ever. A complete waste of time. "You can get down there and try it yourself." That was what one of the employees told me today when I visited store 3337. I showed up at this location a little before 7:30 am, seeking an inspection for my car. I was the first person in the garage when the doors went up. After some time had passed, an employee called me to the counter and said there was a problem with my OBD sensor. They could not plug their cord into it to scan my car's computer, and I was told "the fuse was out" and it needed to be replaced. I was told I could go up the street to AutoZone and they would be able to assist me with replacing it, and then I could come back to Jiffy Lube for the inspection to be completed. I went to AutoZone. The man who assisted me at AutoZone said this was incorrect. He was able to successfully plug into the OBD sensor and read that it was, in fact, functional. He said the sensor/port had been shoved up into the car and was difficult, but not impossible, to reach. He proceeded to pull the OBD sensor out as much as he could so it would be more easily accessible. I watched him do this. He told me it sounded like the folks at Jiffy Lube just didn't want to do it, and advised me to go somewhere else. Instead, I returned to the very same Jiffy Lube location. Upon arrival back at Jiffy Lube, a different employee greeted me. I explained to her that I had just recently been there, the situation with the OBD sensor, my interaction with the AutoZone employee, and told her I was back to get my inspection completed. The employee turned and shouted into the garage at the inspector a condensed version of my story. He shouted back and said the OBD sensor didn't work. I responded that it did work, and that the gentleman at the AutoZone had pulled the OBD sensor out more so that they could easily reach it. The inspector's response: "I don't care as long as it plugs in." The employee directed me inside, where I waited. It was now about 8:30. I was the last person in line of a crowded waiting room. Some time passed, and the inspector came to get me personally. He walked me out to my car, and told me it didn't work. I said I was confused, because I had just seen the AutoZone employee get down, reach the OBD sensor, and plug his device in with no problem. The inspector told me that the sensor wasn't stabilized, he couldn't reach it, and that it was impossible for the "human body to bend that way." He then told me I could "get down there and try it myself." I explained that I was not a qualified state inspector, and that this was his duty, not mine. I then said if he needed assistance, he needed to ask one of his coworkers. I was also in a skirt- his request was inappropriate for a variety of reasons. His tone was rude and condescending. Thankfully the female employee from earlier was nearby and attempted to crawl into the floor of the driver side to reach the ODB sensor. After 30 seconds of effort, she said it was "impossible." He said I would need to "figure it out." So I told them to pull my vehicle to the side so I could leave. I went down the road to another car service shop, explained the situation to them, and was told they would be able to complete the inspection. The employee at this shop also told me it sounded like the Jiffy Lube team simply didn't want to put in the effort. This car shop completed my inspection, without any problems, and my car passed. This entire interaction was so unnecessary. From the attitude of the inspector, his borderline sexual harassment, to the lack of knowledge of the employees- they had 2 chances to remedy the situation, and failed at every turn. It is not my problem if a person cannot complete the minimum requirements of their job. No two cars are the same, and I would hope that someone handling state inspections would be experienced and competent enough to handle a variety of situations, instead of simply telling a customer to "figure it out." Less than professional. Left my clean car dirty inside and out with oil stains and when I pointed it out to them I was rudely treated as if I was wrong for pointing out their error. On top of that they didn't even reset my service light for the oil change. I reported to the corporate office the day of and 5 days later still no response. First and last time to visit this location and probably Jiffy lube all together. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed and inspection sticker. In performing this, I was told I needed a new oil filter and I agreed to add that on. I was also asked if I wanted my tires rotated and I also agreed. After minimal wait, the technician came back and said that they could not rotate my tires because they could not get the lug nut off of one of my tires and that I needed to take it back to where ever I last had my tires serviced. This seemed strange as I had never had that problem before, but I went along with it. Yesterday, about 3 weeks after all that I mentioned above, I noticed that part of the hub cap on my driver's side front tire is pushed into my tire and there is NO WAY I did that by running into something. Apparently the technician at this Jiffy Lube did this when trying to rotate my tires. NEEDLESS to say, I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!!! read more

I went in for an oil change about thirty minutes after they opened. The workers were polite and got me in and out as quickly as possible.

Went here for an inspection and watched them rip both wiper blades and then they tried to sell me to 30 dollar replacements.

I went there for a State Inspection last week. I had 3 restaurant gift cards of $50 each were stolen. I talked to the service manager, but still no words! Not professional! Will definitely tell everyone i know NOT to go to Jiffy Lube ever again. read more

Went to get a state inspection, was told 30-40 minutes wait time. Hour and half later I was told by the inspection guy that because I had my car inspected in Sugarland I would have to go back there, despite jiffy lubes deal of having the option of paying once and going up to 3 times to get your car inspected. The inspection guy then told me their computer wouldn't hook up and then a mechanic comes in and tells me that their computer was acting up and they would have to retry and hook it up. They said something about checking the battery hook up and we agreed to that, then after agreeing to pay the inspection amount again, having the car rebooked up and checking the battery connection they put us back in line behind all the other cars getting inspected. Horrible service and it felt like they didn't care to try and help us. read more

Avoid this place. My first time there for an inspection sticker. They'll fail your car and tell you that the car needs new gas cap, light bulbs, etc... They use the cheapest parts and they overcharge for them. No wonder the place has no customers. read more

Steer clear of this people! I went to this business to do my routine oil change, they drained my oil and then gave me a quote for a Toyota Yaris. The only choice I had at that point was to go by what they say as I'm now their hostage.This is happening in United States, a home of the free and brave. My freedom to chose got taken away by this business but not the bravery. I had to call law enforcement to intervene but its already a hostage situation so they couldn't do so much. Prior to the arrival of law enforcement while I was going back and forth with them, a lady sitting in the room stated that she was caught up in the same situation as the oil change quote given to her after draining her oil is approximately twice what her dealership would charge but my bravery saved her some box. Both occurrences happening within my short stay there were a clear indication that the people who run this business are grand masters in deceptive trading. I may not be able to put a number to nor assist people who have fallen victim to this shady business practice in the past but would be happy to save someone the hassle in future by this review. I would rather get a speeding ticket trying to avoid this business than stopping by to get a service from them ever again. They say, "a word is enough for the wise." read more

I went into this Jiffy Lube for a State Inspection. I do all of my own maintenance on my vehicles so I have never had an oil change here. While I was waiting for the inspection to get done, I noticed they were calling everyone that was there getting their cars serviced and trying to upsale them on things. This is one of the main reasons why I never take my cars for fluid changes at these places, that and the fact that they have no clue what they are doing. Then it was my turn, the tech came out and said he needed to show me something, he could not get the gas cap to pass. My Jeep Grand Cherokee was not throwing a code for the Evap System (Gas Cap) leaking. He stated that the grand cherokee would not throw a code for that. I thought that was weird since I have a previous Jeep Wrangler of the same year model and once threw a code because of the gas cap. I was stuck, if I told him not to replace the gas cap, which he convenientely had onhand, he would fail my inspection and I would have to go and get a new one and return and wait again for the inspection to be completed. I told them to go ahead and do it. Come to find out, the same thing exactly had happened to my sister-in-law when she took her car there for an inspection. Then after getting home and doing research, I found out my Jeep Grand Cherokee does throw a code for a leaking gas cap. I will NEVER return to this Jiffy lube for anything. I know a $10 gas cap is not much money, it's the principal of it and the fact that they do it to everyone. They are scam artists. read more

I have been going to this location for several years now for all of my oil changes and vehicle inspections. I have never really had a problem with the service or the staff. They aren't particularly faster or slower than anywhere else, nor are they friendlier or any more or less rude than any vehicle service establishment, especially to women. I've come to expect them all to be just "blah" towards me because I am a woman. But on today's visit (for a vehicle inspection), the idiot whom I had to deal with has caused me to decide to NEVER go back. After waiting in line for 1 hour 15 minutes in a waiting area full of people, including crying children, I was called out to the service area and told that I had presented the wrong insurance card for my vehicle. I looked it over and it was correct to my knowledge. The technician walked me over to my truck to show me that the VIN on my insurance card did not match the VIN on the inside door frame on my truck. I pointed out that the vehicle had been wrecked and the door had been replaced and it was quite possible that the replacement door label was still there but he was not hearing it. I even tried to show him papers I had inside the car proving that the door had been replaced but he wouldn't even look at it. He made me feel like I was trying to scam or fraud him in some way. I even pointed out that the VIN on the windshield on the drivers side of the car and the VIN on the inside under the hood near the engine all matched my insurance card and he looked at them and acknowledged that they did match, but he was determined to not inspect my vehicle and told me contact the registration department and my insurance company to change the VIN to match the one on the inside door frame. Now, my vehicle is a 2000 Ford F-150 and the door label was for a 2003 Ford F-150. If I know that I purchased a 2000 vehicle, why would I have it changed. That would be fraudulent. So, I left without having my vehicle inspection and having just waited over an hour for nothing. I am pissed and will never go back. Ladies, watch out!!! Don't go to this place. Despite the fact that you might know more than a guy when it comes to locating a VIN on a vehicle, they won't listen to you. Don't allow anyone to treat you like your stupid or a fraud. Bad service ever!!!! I took my car to this location for State Inspection and oil change. My husband took lunch time to go home n helped me drop the car so we can pick up later . I was waiting at the front desk, nobody came to ask anything. I looked through the glass door n saw two technicians was chatting n doing nothing in the shop. I was very patient until one guy took customer inside n asked me if anybody help me yet. I said no, he asked me what kind of service I would like to do today then he told me park the car in line , not asked customer name or anything. I parked the car like he said, came back to office n continued to wait. Later on, he opened the door n told me give him the car key. I thought he would check the mileage before taking care customer, but he came back to the shop n continuing change oil for somebody's car. Really, they didn't ask a word. I was afraid my husband was going late from work so I openned the shop door n told him that I want drop the car n pick it up later , he said ok so I asked him if he need to do any paper works. He came back inside, gave me a paper to fill : name , address, phone n what kind of service I wan to do today , he said just fill the paper n leave there in the front desk then he came back to the shop. I was so not happy, but still filled out the paper n i changed my mind to have oil change with them, just state inspection. I wanted to make sure before I left, I openned the door n asked if that was it. He said yes then I left. One hour later , they called me n said I didn't give them the insurance so they couldn't do inspection. He told me that he park my car in the front so I can pick up later n if I want to do inspection then bring insurance with me but they close at 7pm. OMG!!! What kind of service like that , u should ask customer when they are there. i did had my insurance with me, but i didnt know they would need my car insurance. Besides, i actually didn't have chance to talk to them and they also was not in the office to take my insurance . They just told me fill out the paper n left in the front desk. They don't even have any customer representative at the front desk. I wonder who is an owner of this franchise , if he knew his employees serve customers like that.
