This place is horrible. My son recently came here for an alignment and tire rotation. They tried convincing him for other services such as coolant flush and engine flush. Needless to say they broke his hood and now its stuck closed and they refuse to fix it. SMH if you break it you fix it. Plain and simple! They told him it's an older car. They also said they don't have the tools to fix it. how about only changing tires and stay away from the engine bay if you don't have tools to work on it. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. My A/C went out and my check engine light was on. On 08/19/25, a diagnostic and A/C check was performed, totaling $191 On 08/20/25, I was notified by Frank the store manager my engine sensors ,fuel pump o2 sensor and my ac compressor needed replacing .The full service totaled $2998.43. I approved the repairs and went to pick up the vehicle upon completion. I started the vehicle and drove less than a mile down the road my my a/c was still blowing warm air. I returned and a tech test drove upon him approving back from the test drive I was told they only replaced the compressor and the coolant was low WOW how do you perform an a/c check without checking the coolant so I left and returned to and was told my check engine light came back so a frank offers to issued a refund for the engine diagnostic. I left the vehicle not happy with the services I was rendered and called the corporate office . To add insult to me I was later called by (Frank) the store manager threatening me that he was the manger and no matter how many times I call the corporate office he was the only person that I would report to Not Bridgestone corporate office .Hours later Liam called me with 2 options said Frank refund for the engine diagnostic for 115 or they can take Every part off the vehicle that was paid for and put on By Firestone that was recommended by Firestone (Frank )and receive Full refund. I trusted Firestone opened a account and this is the injustice I received by taking my vehicle to Firestone please think twice before you go in this place. Frank only see you as a $ and ticket builder and store bonus Now I've learned my lesson I'll take my vehicle to the dealership. So sad women are taken advantage of in this business . I had a slow leak in one of my back tires. I called Firestone and spoke to the sweetest and most helpful employee named Andrew and he told me to come by after work so they can check it out for me. I stopped by and talked to another employee who was as helpful and sweet and that was Naomi. She answered all of my questions and they took my car back immediately. It turned out that I ran over a tiny screw and they were able to plug my tire up which is so much cheaper than getting a brand new tire. I LOVE their honesty and integrity! Naomi and Andrew set me up beautifully and I can't recommend this Firestone enough! read more

2019 F250 - rattle in my steering wheel... Took it in and they replaced several front end items. Did not solve the problem. However, the Mgr. Justin, took the time to get it corrected. Offered to continue to work on it until it was fixed. After several hours of forum research and testing while vehicle was cold and hot, I discovered the rattle only occurred when vehicle had warmed up. Very strange. The tech finally caught on after driving the vehicle when warm and finally recognized the problem I had been describing. It was an intermediate steering shaft - just like the forums had described. Justin replaced it at no charge to ensue they got it right. Ended up being a good experience at this League City store and they way I would run my business. I DONT KNOW WHAT the tech here did for my alignment but I'd just like to say he did an excellent job. THEY HAVE SOME GREAT MECHANICS HERE AND IT SHOWS!! I've been to different firestones over the past 4 months(Around 8 alignments done) and every time I left, my steering wheel was still off to the right at i'd say a 25 degree angle. And when I would put it straight my car would pull off to the left. I'd go back to have it redone but the same problem was present. After looking around and reading reviews I found this place and I was thinking to myself it's just going to turn out how the other times went. BUT I WAS WRONG!! My steering wheel was straight and wouldn't pull to one side at all and The customer service was EXCELLENT, I called looking to make an appointment and they told me if I can get there in 15-25 mins they will get me in..And THEY DID, it didn't take long at all. Usually when Id make an appointment at other places i'd be there and still see my car in the same spot where I parked for 30-60 mins and I'd be there for 3 hours. THIS FIRESTONE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU WANT GOOD WORK DONE. Never taking my car to a different location. (I also have the lifetime alignment, well worth your money.) read more

I never thought that something as simple as taking my car in for a state inspection could become a nightmarish headache. I dropped my vehicle off and was called in 15 min to say I needed a light replaced, which they could do easily. I gave them the OK. About 1-2 hours later, my vehicle was ready. I paid and went out to my car, which was when things went horribly downhill. Even before getting in, I could see the smudged handprints of whoever had last driven my car all over the wheel. When I bent forward to see how dirty it was, I saw the two new, deep scratches on my steering wheel. I immediately went back in and spoke to the service manager, Brendan. He came out, looked at it, talked to the technician, and told me "Well, we don't have any record of whether or not these scratches were present before the service and the tech says he doesn't know what could have caused this so...." When I pointed out that technicians should note external damage just so things like this don't happen, he tells me that they don't, as it would take him "all day to document every car. " I understand it is a process, but it is part of their jobs and other stores take that time. After much discussion, he repeatedly stated that they cannot prove that they had scratched the wheel. When I would not be persuaded, he told me he will talk to his store manager who will call when he comes back from vacation in a week. Finally, he grudgingly agreed to at least wipe off the smudged handprints all over my wheel when I asked him to. 1 week later, no phone call. I called and Brendan told me that he had already updated the store manager Frank and he was surprised the store manager did not already call. The next day, I decided to go find him myself. It took 3 trips to Firestone to meet the store manager. When I did, he had no idea who I was, why I was there, or what the problem was. When I told him this was my 3rd trip there, he says "Well I doubt it is really your 3rd trip." Really? When I showed my steering wheel to Frank and attempted to discuss the damage to my car, he proceeded to talk over me the whole 10 minutes he could spare me. I believe I may have said 5 sentences, all interrupted, at most. He repeatedly stated there was nothing he can do and he would not take responsibility for the damage. He then stated if it had been a 2020 or 2021 vehicle, then perhaps he could do more. When I attempted to talk to him further about the matter, he stated all he could do was send it to a 3rd party person who can come assess the damage and then say whether his store was at fault. I was unable to get a word in edgewise about the damage, let alone his poor attitude or the fact that his technicians cared so little they cannot even bother to wipe off a steering wheel they get dirty. It has been over a week and I have not heard a peep from this third party investigator. TLDR - Do not bring your car here unless you have thoroughly videotaped your entire car first because if it is damaged in any fashion less obvious than if they put a hole in it, you will not get any help with having it fixed. I unfortunately didn't take photos this time around. I have been coming to this exact Firestone location for about a year now. For the most part, I've been extremely satisfied with the work they have done to my three automobiles. The biggest thing to mention is their communication to the customer as well as customer service. I have been helped with Wesley and he's been nothing but good. These guys get busy. Especially weekends. So my advise would be to get an appointment or go very early morning if you don't /can't make appt. I love love love how they are open 7 days a week. With my work schedule it's just hard to make it to the shop during the week. Now, with all that said I will say Firestone is good but sometimes is expensive. They do have techs/mechanics that do have more certifications than most. So they do do a good job. I always look on the website to see if there are any promotions or coupons. Work that has been done to my vehicles vary from : oil changes, tire rotation, CV Shaft, wheel bearing assembly and fluid flushes. Hope it helps. -Rick read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy. They wanted to take half my engine apart for 5 days for a problem that didn't exist.

And the award for worst customer service goes to Firestone League City. I had a flat tire and went there because they were still open for an hour and I've used them before. The Firestone Rep was rude and absolutely uncaring. He refused to help and said to come back the next day. He even refused to help put the spare tire on. I WILL NEVER GO TO FIRESTONE AGAIN. I ended up going to NTB on the gulf freeway between 96 and 646. They were more than happy to help and got me going. Amazing how far a little care and concern for your customer goes. read more

Returned with the job done only to be told every single bolt was loose and was denied service after the vehicle sat at the location over night and over half of the next day. Knowledgeable staff and they give it to you straight if there is something you have a question about. I went in for a tire pressure indicator light and they told me that it was a battery in the sensor and the tire was perfectly fine. I must begrudging admit that the first time I took my car to this establishment, I felt like I had found a new trusted mechanic who's every intention was to provide me with the best and most honest auto service and care. Then I went back, not once but twice to experience the joys of agressive upselling and embellishing on the condition of my car. You ask how? Well, all me to develop my story... On my second visit to the shop, the representative is on the telephone with a customer. He tells the customer that they found out was was causing the problems with their car, and they can have it ready by 2p.m. The customer gives them the okay to fix the car. In the meanwhile, I sign in, tell them I want to replace two tires, and sit down to wait. Time passes, and an elderly gentleman walks in to pick up his car. He is the same customer who was on the phone at the time of my arrival. The representative tells the gentleman his charges for today's services are $1200.00. The customer seems surprised and states that when he left his vehicle, he was told the repair would be $120.00. They continue this discussion for 20 minutes, until the customer unhappily pays to regain his vehicle. When I get ready to pay for my tires, I am told that I really need to have my engine mount tightened and that the service can be completed immediately. I ask them what the consequences would be if I elected to wait, and I was informed that my engine would fall out as I was driving down the road. I declined the service, paid for my tires and left. Three months later, I return to the shop, willing to believe that it was a fluke that people would be so eager to rip off everyone they meet. I asked the shop to repair a nail in my new tire...I was told that the nail could not be repaired, and I would have to purchase another new tire. I thanked them for their time, drove to another tire shop, and had my tire repaired. Buyer beware, its rough out there! read more

Very slow! It took them 12hrs to change a spark plug. It doesn't matter how big or small the repair, it will cost you a whole day maybe two days without a car. Price and service is no good! All I wanted was an update to see if the vehicle was going to get worked on or not and he started telling me I must be new to this because this isn't how it works. From management to tech, every single interaction I have had has been professional, kind, understanding, and they do everything in their power to get me on the road in a short amount of time with the least amount of cost possible. Yesterday I called this place and asked about tire alignment, they told me with appointment takes about an hour to get it done. So I got appointment for the day after at 10:30 in the morning. Today I left my car there at 10:30 and after 3 hours waiting for them to call me back, I went there at 2 and they didn't even touch my car!!! Firestone had my car for 2 days before they could tell me that it would cost over $1,000 to get it running again. They said the problem was the fuel pump and it was a $400 part, plus 3-4 hours of labor charges. I heard they were infamous for mistreating and over charging their customer, so I wanted a second opinion. I still had to pay over $100 to get my car out of their garage, just for telling me what their "diagnosis" was. (Refund??) My GOOD mechanic was able to tell me within 2 hours of having the car, that one of the hoses was disconnected, and he simply plugged it back into the fuel pump. Presto! My car was running again! Two weeks ago I scheduled an appointment for March 4th to get my oil changed and tires rotated on my company fleet car. I showed up at 11 am which was my appointment time. The clerk says "do you have some time?" I said I really need my oil changed its overdue. I said how much time. He says at least 2 hours..... I said what's the point of making an appointment? He says I didn't know we'd be short handed. Well, why didn't they contact me and let me know that I needed to reschedule? I wasted my time driving down there. Been going to this Firestone for 14 years, no more. Last time I went two weeks ago for an inspection and oil change, Also I needed a bulb changed on my interior light. Got a call few hours later and was told I needed shocks and CV joint on my car. Total $1,88.00. Told them I would get another opinion. Got a recommendation from our Next Door newsletter and took car to new place. Shocks were fine, CV Joint fine. I was so disappointed in Firestone, called them and they of course stood by their mechanic. Wanted me to come back. NO WAY!! New place replaced bulb no cost. This shop scratched all four wheels on my wife's Volkswagen m, and theyalso checked the alignment, said it was fine and then 10,000 miles later, cords are showing on the front and rear. Camber and Caster both way out. So I want to put 5000 mile old tires that came off of my new BMW on this car and they refused to do that, says it isn't safe. They will not install any tire unless brand new with a sticker and a receipt. How remarkably self-serving of them. Never go to Firestone again and solve all my problems seeing as how they were mostly caused by them to begin with. They won't really do anything except sell you brand new tires. read more

Wow is all I can say .... I travel a ton for work and while out on a call today I could hear air leaking from my tire. I immediately turned to yelp to find the closest tire shop. I walked in and Wes helped me he was so nice and put me at ease. I was literally there maybe 25 minutes in that time they located a huge screw and patched the tire. The shop is very clean they have a nice waiting area with coffee, magazines and a TV. Wes suggested some tires for me in the future that are great for people who drive all around for work. I have to say between the small talk and seeing the employees here interact with their customers this place is top notch! After talking with Wes I plan on coming back here to get my tires in the future. The lady working was awesome as well. read more
