They don't post their prices on the wall of certain jobs such as oil change, tire balancing, etc they verbally say what the cost will be. By law in Pennsylvania approval from the customer should give consent by signature, prior to the work being performed. They did not do that.

I'm just baffled at this point because he's obviously lying and just a bit too busy to take me as a walk in which was so forced upon me the day prior with them not wanting to even book me an appointment. I called McKnight Auto and they told me they were "first come, first served", but were already full that particular day. I went in early the next day and opted to drop my car off vs waiting since I had a ride and there were a few customers ahead of me. After receiving their call that my car was ready and passed all inspections, I went in to pick it up. They charged me exactly what was quoted on the phone the day before and we had a nice chat. Friendly staff and seem to run an honest and ethical business. My husband took his car there as well after the good experience I had. He was impressed as well. We'll be taking our cars to McKnight Auto going forward.

They recommended that I'm overdue on maintenance and that I pay them to change my brake fluid, coolant, differential and transmission fluid and for an extra $800 to which I declined. We did an alignment but when I left it was definitely not aligned, video attached. They did fix it when I returned 10 minutes later. Combined wait ~2.5 hours. This place isn't bad, but it wasn't a 5 star experience.

Terrible. Took my Honda there, charged me heavy for the repair, which I could live with , but I…read morecame right back with a recall for same exact problem. They claimed it might be a bad engine, and they don't do engines, come get it, keys are in it. Basically , I knew they just wanted to get rid of me. Took it to a good garage, they repaired and said engine is fine. Also Raley's claimed they changed the oil, but no indication whatsoever they did. They did not reset the gauge, no sticker and the oil is dirty. In was surprised as others told me they had decent service there. I will never go back, and I have several cars.
