Oregon required a DEQ test before you can renew your car registration. Fortunately, Jiffy Lube offers this service and it was close to my house. Its conveniently on Sandy, but there's no huge sign so drive with caution when getting near. I drove into the parking lot and before I even parked my car, a few friendly employees came out to see if I needed assistance. I was able to get my DEQ with no wait and the technicians there were extremely friendly and even interacted with my curious dogs who were sitting in the back of the car. I would recommend this location due to the extremely helpful and friendly staff. There was another car that pulled up after me that they rushed to help as well. I didn't need an appointment, they calmly explained what was happening with my car, and then offered to top off the air in my tires when I didn't realize they were low. Taken the work truck here for the last year and a half. Last time I ever stop there, they stripped the oil pan plug and threw in a butterfly. Ended up having to get new oil pan, after installation and parts, over $1900. But hey, they discounted the oil change.... The one where they stripped the bolt. read more

I stopped for what I thought would be a QUICK oil change as there was only one other car. 20 minutes later I'm told my plug has been stripped and won't hold the oil in. I was told it was from my last oil change, also from this store. That was the last communication I got. After 55 minutes I ask what is taking so long and was verbally attacked by the technician who told me I was "entitled" and I had an attitude and when he stepped at me aggressively I just stopped talking. I've never been in fear for my personal safety while getting an oil change. At this point, all I wanted was my car out of their service bay. Went in for oil and filter change. Then talked into a radiator flush, andtwo filter changes. Then they pointed out my front disc pads were shot and calipers were rusted. $800 to repair front brakes. Took my car to another car service shop and they said front pads were 60% and calipers while a bit rusted they were fine. No charge for their inspection. Moral of the story watch out for their recommendations!!! read more

And the guy asking me to surrender my vehicle smells like weed. Don't surrender your vehicle to these people. They won't be covered by your insurance when they do something stupid. read more

Jiffy Lube is my usual stop for getting my oil changed. I know they try and persuade you to purchase all sorts of stuff you may or may not need for an inflated price...but I know this going in which is my first defense. I keep going to Jiffy Lube because it's SUPER FAST. I end up going mid week right after work, I almost never have to wait. It's great! They change my oil, vacuume my car, clean the windows, and check a few of my cars other vitals. Then when they point out some things that need replacing or fixing I make a note and check for these things in other places. For example, this time around they notified me that my cabin air filter was super dirty and needed replacing. They offered to do this for me for $40. I politely declined, drove to the auto parts store and picked up a new cabin air filter that I can easily replace on my own for $6. Jiffy Lube is great at oil changes and have good customer service. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming back every 3,000 miles or so. read more

Let me start by saying I know NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING about cars. My boyfriend had been telling me for a few weeks that I needed to get an oil change, which I had never done on my own before, and I finally got around to it today. The folks working today (I wish I had grabbed their names) were some of the sweetest and kindest people I've ever met. Man 1 explained everything I needed to know in a way that managed to get all the info across without being condescending or snobby at ALL. The information they gave me about my vehicle did not jive with what I know about my vehicle and then the work order they handed me at the end had the mileage all screwed up in spite of me giving it to them three times, then checking it visually and then having a conversation with me about it saying that they got it right. So it was a good price and a job done fairly quickly but without a lot of trust from me about what they told me and the information I was given. I will not return. read more

Jessie had a phenomenal customer service he pulled the door for us and offered the coffee. I will definitely come back again if I need any car services. There's another guy forgot his name. Baseball cap, beard, big guy, sunglasses on today 6/25/19 afternoon's shift, he helped us to key in the information correctly and making sure everything was done correctly. Took my car in for a simple oil change because I was traveling across county. Half way across the country I find out they broke my driver side sprayer for my wind shield wiper fluid. I also waited over a hour for them to get a new air filter for the engine, however I just did another oil change at valvoline and they informed me I didn't have an air filter. Don't go to this jiffy lube, they have poor business practices. I didn't feel comfortable the whole time I was waiting and I thought the staff was acting suspicious. I should have trusted my instinct and double checked their work, although if you run a honest business I shouldn't have to feel like I need to double check a mechanics work after they finish. They put me at risk of damaging my engine by not replacing the air filter and charged me for a service they didn't do. As well as broke my windshield washer fluid nozzle and didn't tell me. read more

I hate going to get my oil changed. Hate it. I have massive anxiety about being lectured on the merits of frequent servicing, all of which I realize but am not the best at following. Also, I am well aware that the quality of service at Jiffy Lube has been widely debated, with the outlook mostly bleak, so I arrived to the Parkrose Jiffy Lube steeled for the worst. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the guys at this this shop were great. The mechanic checking me in did go over some of the services that were overdue according to the manufacturer's specifications, but he did not pressure me into opting in for any additional services or push too hard on upselling me to the high-mileage oil. The best part of the visit was speaking with the two employees in the waiting room. They were not mechanics and were quite absorbed in some computer work, but they both took the time to patiently (and enthusiastically!) answer my questions about the difference between pure synthetics, synthetic blends, and high-mileage additives as well as some other random oil questions I threw their way. All in all, this was my least stressful visit to a car servicing center in recent memory, and I'll likely return for future oil changes, barring any catastrophic errors unknown as of yet. read more

Okay, I'm having trouble writing this review for a few reasons and they are: 1.) The experience I'm recounting happened approximately five years ago. 2. I haven't been back since, so I haven't given them a chance to prove themselves again. 3.) While what happened was awful, they did fix it. So please, grain of salt and all that. In short, the story is this. I went in for an oil change (first car, first oil change, stupid teenage girl) and they drained my car but forgot to put any oil back in. I picked up my car and drove off, still wondering why the oil light was on as I stalled in the middle of Sandy and had to push my car to safety. That's the yucky bit. The nice bit is this: they sent a mechanic out to check it out, he determined the problem, got me a ride home, and within a week, Jiffy Lube had arranged and completed getting me a new engine. Yup. New engine. So kudos for customer service, I guess. Still, I'm a little gun shy. I haven't been back to a Jiffy Lube. read more
