Everything went great, he was super nice. Got it done in a reasonable amount of time and charged the amount he said he would. Flash Forward to a few weeks ago, I noticed some weird jolting when the car is shifting gears so I took my car in to Toyota, got an inspection and a transmission fluid change. They told me it was way under filled, the fluid was a dark black color. They told me whoever did the last service on my vehicle with the transmission underfilled it severely. The technician told me it's basically a waiting game to see if my transmission is going to have lots of issues or not. Now I am having a ton of transmission issues and I am needing a new one. I would never recommend anyone to come here.

That was the best car I've ever owned…read more Atomic Auto was a newer business back then, but they specialized in the Prius, and they took good care of my car. Eventually I sold the Prius (over 200k on the original battery, and going strong!). I bought a 2015 Chevrolet Volt, and got into the habit of having the Tonkin Chevrolet dealership maintain it (I recall I checked and Atomic Auto wasn't in a position to do work on it back then). But over the years, the dealership kept increasing their prices, and I just wasn't happy. So, I decided to go back to Atomic Auto. I'm glad I did. First off, I like how they have invested in simple technology/tools. They have a good system to text with you, so that you don't need to get on the phone. I love that. Their system includes photos, and detailed notes. Also, I like that they have an after-hours drop-off, *and* an after-hours pick-up. I also have found them to be honest in terms of the services. As my old Prius aged, I was getting an occasional error. They told me what was going on, and gave me a low-cost way to maintain it (spraying some mass airflow spray into the intake). It helped keep that guy on the road (heck, it's probably still driving today). Finally, I have found their services to be complete. I complained to the dealership about a super-obvious sound coming from my wheels when I turned, and the dealership said they couldn't re-create it (which seems sus, since it was super obvious and re-creatable). I didn't even mention it to Atomic, but they picked up on it during a test drive, and diagnosed it easily. I'm looking forward to keeping my Volt going for many years to come with the help of this crew.

This requires two working USB ports. Come to find out, the auxiliary USB(s) don't work. I'm hoping it's a fuse but I doubt it. The person who replaced the battery did not know what HE was doing. Can't say enough good things about this shop…read more I dropped in at the dealership to get a check engine light diagnose, and they wanted $250 just to diagnose the problem and proceeded to tell me that they might have to hold the car for the whole day. I ended up calling Omega Motor or what it's called now, "B Garage PDX". They were immediate to answer and diagnose as soon as I drop by. They fit me in that afternoon for diagnostic, and it took them less than 30 mins to do it. In addition, they didn't charge me for the diagnostic. They proceeded to explain what was going on and provided a very reasonable quote. They ordered the parts and allowed me to bring my car back the following morning. My car was in and out in less than 3 hours, exactly what they quoted. I am beyond impressed with their personable demeanor and ways of running their business as a no frills garage and being super friendly at it. They know what they are doing. I am glad that this place was introduced to me, because now I finally have a place I can trust.
