"Signature Service" under the description. Note the five recommendations for add-on services I mentioned in my review.
Jared C.

I drove in for a $19.99 oil change. I drove out with a 50% cost increase and a bitter experience to keep me away forever. I got the "signature service," which isn't euphemism for customer service. I've added four photos with my review to illustrate the many problems I experienced. 1. The technician told me the tires were at 25 psi, well below the manufacturer's 32 psi recommendation. The technician offered to rotate the tires but I declined, explaining the tires had been rotated the month before at Costco. And filled with nitrogen. 2. The signature service comes with wash exterior windows and vacuum floors, both services were marked declined without my consent. 3. Multiple add-on services were recommended: Fuel Filter ($39.99); Transmission Fluid Service ($119.99); Coolant Fluid Flush ($59.99); Fuel System Cleaning ($??); Brake Fluid Flush ($??) and; spark plugs ($19.99). Had I accepted all of the recommended services, my bill would've exceeded $300. I accepted the additional cost of $5.99 for a rear brake light replacement and paid a total bill of $35.98. Then, I drove directly to Costco to resolve the tire pressure issue. The Costco technician checked all four tires -- all readings of 32 psi not 25 psi -- and told me the gauges are often broken at oil change shops. My experience wasn't the Costco technician's first. The signature service comes with an exterior car wash at Champion Carwash. The car wash didn't remove bird droppings off the car roof but did manage to bend the rear license plate. Ten years ago, NBC4's investigative team in Los Angeles uncovered scams at Jiffy Lube shops, five out of the nine ships investigated were caught on camera, cheating customers on repairs that weren't needed and/or weren't done. (YouTube video link: http://goo.gl/XmyrAl). Unfortunately, there's still a lot of a shady, crooked, deceitful business practices in the oil change industry. Technicians are trained more in selling you services and products you don't need. If you can't do your own oil change, at least check your owner's manual and/or schedule an inspection with an ASE-certified and AAA-approved full service automotive repair facility. Common Oil Change Ripoffs/Upsells 1. Specials, deals or coupons are no longer accepted. Drive away if they jack up the price. 2. Beware of paying for synthetic oil and getting a basic oil grade. 3. Beware of paying for a new oil filter and it isn't replaced. 4. Beware of warnings for a new air filter / fuel filter. 5. Beware of warning for a fluid flush (transmission, power steering, coolant). The technician will tell you the fluid is brown, dirty and/or smells.

Left the cap off the coolant reservoir and nearly burned up my car. I would not at all recommend them.

I had a terrible experience here. I drove by and asked if they used oil a customer had, I was told…read moreit was $4 off per quart the base price of the oil change. Great- went and got my oil and came back. My oil was measured and I had 4 quarts. My truck takes two additional gallons than the standard 5 gallon oil change- so what's fair I assumed is not charging me the two additional gallons and maybe getting $4/quart discount off on the two remaining quarts of my oil. I asked how many quarts a standard oil change covered. The guy (Nate I think? Some cocky black dude) tried talking me in circles and saying it doesn't matter because my truck takes 7. I asked again- yeah but I want to know how many quarts an oil change includes. He again told me I don't need to know that. I then asked how much a regular one was- I like to be included in price calculation and see/know the breakdown. He talked the most nonsense circles around me saying "you don't need to know that- I'll just tell you you owe me $67 (or something near that- after quoting me $40 something earlier lol). "I'll do the math for you ok?" He said. "I'll keep this as simple as I can for you." Again I asked- how much is the normal oil change? He said "what do you not trust me? I'm not doing anything dirty or trying to slip anything by you. I'm just telling you what you owe me to keep this as simple as I can for you. You don't need to know the breakdown." I tried to explain- I like to know my breakdown and I like to see where a price comes from. He did one last crooked comment about "I'm not a scammer ok- I just know I can do the math for you so you can understand how much to pay me." I should have left but the car was probably opened below. I rolled my windows up and sat while this person who thinks he is outsmarting me and refuses to tell me price breakdown does whatever to my car. I paid whatever number he made up. My bill wasn't even close to what he had tried to pull over my eyes earlier.. and as he read the nonsense bill breakdown the $4/quart discount then turned to $1/quart discount and he even read it to me how he originally quoted- stating $4/quart like I told you but pointing to only one quart given credit ($4 total) part on the bill. I'll never be back here ever and I'll warn anyone about this crooked place. I also was charged the 3 quarts extra that I needed except I brought in 4 quarts and paid for a 5quart oil change! Oh the irony. No wonder he didn't want me seeing the bill or knowing the breakdown. Crooked. Ps mister Nate - I went to college at 15, finished college calculus at 16, was a biochemist at 20, and homeschooled math on the side and taught math and science to non English Spanish high school kids- And your math sucks and you can't do math for me like you assured me. But you can be condescending, arrogant, crooked, and show what intelligence you're lacking by talking to me like I'm an idiot. I had my Jesus music to get me through that terrible time with you and you never get to speak shitty to me ever again! Hey! Also called "manager" and he said the owner gives a $4 credit for any amount of oil. So a tablespoon or 10 quarts gets the same credit. So I donated my oil to them for them to still charge me extra oil I could have done the semisynthetic oil change- only used two of my quarts for the extra two my truck required and paid $10 less than what I did AND have had two extra quarts left over. But let them do the math and you'll pay more Seriously what crookedness.

Went in for an oil change and tire pressure monitors replaced. Bought the tire pressure monitors…read morefrom Ford, on my way in. He said it would be 25.00 per tire to install the new ones. That's cool, but when they were finished, they changed me a 20.00 tire rotation fee. So I asked why, since they had to take the tires off to put the monitors in, and was told it was for the tire rotation. Why when they had to remove them from the car for the monitors. Nothing like getting double charged. So if the 20.00 is more important than a loyal customer, I never go back. There's a lot of other places. (Rosenberg store)

I noticed that this place took down my review which is pretty shady of them. So here is my review…read moreagain on what happened. First off, this place will create a problem with your vehicle. My vehicle had a starter that went out and what this place did was CUT MY WIRES that would have caused an engine fire or even worse. This happened when I was in the hospital in the ER fighting for my life and my hubby brought our van into the place to get repaired. The place didnt just mess up the replacement of the starter but damaged something in the area that the starter is suppose to go to which ended up having to get ANOTHER starter plus the repair for the damage that they created. COSTLY for something that they did. Once I finally was allowed to leave the hospital I couldnt drive and unfortunately was in and out of the hospital for the next 2 years. During that time my hubby and I noticed that the van was having some weird stuff going on with the functioning of the van. We couldnt afford to outright have the van get a full exam but a professional mechanic offered to take a look to help us out. Once that professional mechanic came and took a look at the van he was not only surprised by what he found but told us that we were very lucky that we didnt have a engine fire or even an accident because the van was actually an accident waiting to happen. The mechanic did the repairs and assured us the car was now safe to drive. He did explain to us that there was absolutely no way that what was cut was an accident but was obviously done on purpose. I called up the repair shop and told them what we found out and honestly was pretty ticked off how they were willing to create a issue to a customer's car just to get more money and how careless they were on someone else's wellbeing on safety. We have children and I would have been devastated if any of my family was injured or worse. Of course, the repair shop tried to downplay what they did and denied what they did. I placed a review shortly after the whole situation was discussed. The place wanted to discuss things again and wanted me to remove my review which I never did. Just didnt want the shady lies that place tried to convince me of and wanted to warn other future possible customers of the dangerous stunt that they did to me about my van. Several years later I noticed that they place removed my review, so I restated what happened and looks like they removed it again. Yep I AM RESTATING WHAT HAPPENED AGAIN IN A REVIEW. This place is dangerous for anyone's safety. Seriously avoid this place. I have a relative that went to this place out of desperation and they got screwed over as well. Their car should have never even been there but after they got their car repaired, they started to have other issues which created a safety problem to their car too. Luckily another mechanic fixed the safety issue and even had to replace the issue from the repair too. I don't know who is ok to allow these very dangerous actions to continue at their business but it can and most likely will end up getting sued if anyone is injured or unalive from the place trying to create problems for money.

Again, today, they went above and beyond for me. Simple…read moreand relatively inexpensive repair done. Then they took my card $ and DELIVERED MY CAR because I needed it for tomorrow (July 4) but couldn't get there.
