My go-to spot for oil changes. Affordable, timely, and quality service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Each time I've been here, the employees have been super nice and helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They charge reasonable prices for parts and labor. I also appreciate the system and setup they have for their customers, making wait times more efficient [as seen in photos], they also put a number on your window to mark where you are in the "service line". I will say this place is popular (for good reason), so I recommend showing up 30min-1hr before they open because customers line up early! But even if you show up "late" the wait is not bad and the service is very quick. I will continue being a regular customer :) read more

i brought my 2018 nissan versa note in for a transmission fluid change, the cost was very reasonable, and the service was great, brian was very knowledgeable, just like his brother raymond and the techs that work there. i went early in the morning since they tend to be busy all day, and was done pretty quickly. you can't go wrong, going to young's auto service. i used to frequent them in the past but.moved to sf, now i'm back [[HIGHLIGHT]]nice to see some places with great service never change[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]!!! Over priced charged me more because I bought a bucket of oil instead of quarts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was very rude when I was trying to speak to them[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then start speaking their language right in front of me like I can't tell they are talking mess about me jus because I wanted to know what I was paying for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will never return. If you have a GERMAN vehicle, do NOT go here. They will tell you that they'll use the right oil for your car but they just use a general mix of a cheap oil. They also scam you depending on your appearance and the car you own! Giving me and my dad different prices every time one of us goes there! Better off with doing an oil change at walmart, they lift up your car and let it all drain from the bottom, unlike this shop just pumps it out from the top - leaving more residue of the old oil and walmart logs the service in Carfax so you have a service history! Only use Liquymoli or Castrol for euro cars, they allow for your engine to hold the right pressure and use the right additives to decrease carbon build up! read more

Guy intentionally broke some plastic on my engine. Also had brought a new oil pan plug asked them to put in and the dude took it or threw it away rather than replacing it. Dude intentionally screwed me over. Had been a off and on customer since I was in my 20's. Never again. F*** these Thieves. I 100% believe the other guys review saying they took some of his bolts and caused leaks. This place is shady AF. read more

They will mess your car up, so they can charge you to fix it!!! They strip my bolt and I had to pay for a new one. Went back to do another oil change and they said they can't do it cause bolt is strip need to re-thread it and they said it's only 90 dollars to fix. read more

Do not go to this place!! They charged me 55 dollars in labor to take an oil cap that took this man less than 2 minutes to take off. They con people into extra hidden fees when it's time to pay please save yourself the time and money and take your business elsewhere. read more

THEY ALWAYS CLOSE EARLY! They closed 40 minutes early and I find that absolutely ridiculous. The value is great which is why I keep coming back but I'm so annoyed bc I drove all the way out here. So dumb. This is not the first time they've pulled this nonsense. Sometimes it's an hour early. I ended up coming back the next day bc a 22 dollar oil change when you bring your own oil and a filter is just unbeatable. Ends up being 55 dollars in the end all together. All the other oil change places are charging like 160. read more

They had 2 cars in line, but they said they were closing early.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was 65 degrees outside, i understand on a hot day if they close early but it wasn't hot. This is my go-to place for an oil change. It can get really busy sometimes so I always expect to wait maybe 30 minutes. I would call ahead of time or go really early during the Summer because they will close early if it is extremely hot outside. read more

I went here because my dad, uncle and cousins all go here for the cheap oil change labor fee. Bring your own oil and filter they said. its only $15 in labor...I got here with my 4runner and was told that the price would be $45 because i have 2 extra plates that need removing. $30 more to take off 2 plates seems a bit excessive and when you add the cost of oil and the filter, its the same as getting my oil changed at my mechanics and i wouldnt have had to wait 30 minutes for my turn. I will say that they have an efficient system set up so considering the number of cars waiting, it moved pretty quickly but that sticker shock made this the first and last time that I will go back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. they are scammers. I went for an oil change and first they are rude. second, 1 month after my "oil change" my car is saying my oil life is on 10%. so I check my oil tank and it has little to no oil in the tank. they charge you like 30 something dollars and don't even put oil. and no my car is not leaking oil cause I monitored it and no oil was spilling. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

I trust these guys more than the one across from pepboys on 47th. This guy's use the correct oil while the guy across from pepboys just use 10w30 I'm like you for real, my car says sae 016.... and he tells me your car is not new so 10w30 will work..... I'm like I took it to young auto center and the guys changed it with the correct type of motor oil.... so I would definitely recommend young...thanks guys read more

price updated: $21 for the labor (with your own oil and filter) ~$40 oil and filter at autozn plus $21 for labor, came out around $61. In my opinion let's spend couple dollars to do oil change at local dealership with cool a/c guest room and a free car wash. as you can save little time to go to store buy oil and filter. read more

I used to have a 2000s Nissan Altima that was working perfectly fine, note, this happened a few years ago. And I came here for them to change the oil, I hadn't brought my own and I was in a very trusting mood this day so I decided to let them use their own oil and filter, the man who was helping me then decided to tel me that my coolant fluid need to be replaced which was around another 90-130$ if I remember correctly. I noticed he used a sort of vacuum to suck the coolant fluid out, which at the time, didn't raise any flags for me and proceeded to add fluid, closed the engine up and sent me on my way. No more than a month or two later, the engine was overheating and starting to smoke when I would drive it. Not understanding why I took it to a couple of spots to take a look and they told me that oil was leaking into the coolant or vice versa. At the time I thought the car was just old and it had came to its end. But I recently learned that what he used to flush the car that day of its coolant fluid is called a flush machine (ironic I know), but in the words of Scotty Kilmer (mechanic for 50+ years, YouTube - name of video referenced here is "the truth about Lucas fuel additive" @ 4:44), "not a big fan of flush machines because sometimes they'll flush pieces from a place that's not that bad into a valve body and it won't work at all" I'm sure that is what happened with this car. At the time I had no car once this one went to crap and left me pretty lost as I was going through a lot of other stuff. So, as some people are saying, I believe these guys are very unqualified to be suggesting what to do to peoples cars. They just want to make a sale and make more money, no concern for you or your vehicle. Do yourself the favor and go somewhere where you are sure the guy looking at your vehicle is qualified and licensed. read more

Good place to get affordable oil change if you bring your own oil filter and motor oil. Labor is $9. By buying synthetic motor oil when it's on sale and coming to Young's, my oil change is less than half of going to Jiffy Lube or the dealer's. Service is friendly and efficient. Don't be afraid of the long line of cars waiting for their oil change here. This place is very efficient, they assign number so you know when you are up next. I generally wait 15-45 minutes on saturdays. After they are done, they show you the new oil. You can also see them work from the mirrors and cameras that the work is being done. They also provide power steering, AT fluid change and other services but people predominantly come here for oil change. They do accept credit card but do charge you a service fee ( I think 50 cents) read more

Beware, if you are paying with cash, especially with multiple smaller bills, make sure you count them right in front of the old lady's face or else she will pocket your dollar bills into her Fanny pack, and then make a scene and accuse you of not paying the right amount. Very dishonest business. read more

I went for an oil change in June and paid $36, but I went back today and I had to pay $74 for an oil change/filter. The thing that bothers me is that last time I went with my dad, and this time I went by myself and paid more than double the price. I'm also confused because synthetic oil costs around $15-$20 but they charged me $45 just for the oil itself. I'm assuming because I'm a young girl, they thought that I didn't know anything about cars, so just be careful when coming here by yourself--they will try to squeeze money out of you. I really liked this place at first because of the good prices but after this experience, I will probably not be coming back here again. read more

Pretty fast but expect to wait at least 20-45min during busy times. My suggestion is that you speak up, because I have seen people get skipped. I have also seen them swap numbers and give you a longer wait time. Arrive before 3:00pm. Mornings are faster. Other than that service is cheap and good. They suggest or try to upsell you on other things, be prepared for an answer. read more

If you're picky about what goes into your car but don't want to do the dirty work yourself or get ripped off at the dealership, this is THE spot to go to. The good: It's BYOL, bring your own liquids, and just pay for the labor. Low prices: 8 bucks for an oil change, 22 for transmission service. You drive in, drive up the ramp, and can sit in your car and see what's going on below via the video cam they have thoughtfully put up for you. You don't even have to get out to pay. I went in with some Toyota transmission fluid and it was so quick! No wait time at all, though there's convenient parking for busier times. And as someone who has had things switched out during car servicing before, it gave me peace of mind to see everything that was happening. My mechanic was friendly and professional, although he didn't talk much. As long as he can speak the language of cars I didn't mind. The good to know: They take credit cards too. An elderly Asian lady came by to take my card and give me the receipt. More travel reward points for me, hurrah! Would I recommend coming here? No doubt. Bring your own oil and filter and pay a cheap price for the labor. They are quick and have an efficient low-tech system to get you in and out. The demand to get serviced here is high, so you can sometimes expect a long que. They have a camera pointed at your undercarriage so you can monitor the mechanic as they do their work. Very "cheap" place to get your oil changed. Only costs $9 as long as you don't mind waiting in a long line & bring your own oil and filter. It's a cheap service because you get EXACTLY what you pay for. Just an oil change. They didn't check and if my other fluid levels and I left needing transmission fluid and washer fluid. Great place if you're looking to save money; but if you need thorough service, you may want to look around. read more

The lobby was bigger than I expected and the internet was fast enough to actually get work done, so that helped a lot. Location is solid too, there's food and shops nearby if you don't want to sit the whole time. One thing I thought was interesting, I have a friend who owns a windshield shop in another state, and I sent him pics after. He was pretty surprised at how clean it came out for the price, said it probably comes down to them doing a high volume of jobs. Overall just a smooth experience. No upselling, no weird surprises, and everything lined up with what they told me. I'd go back if I needed to.

Worst customer service. Just because you have a Tesla you have to take it to them so I did but they…read morehad the wrong glass and I tried to call them three days prior many times and it's impossible to talk to a human so when I got there they had the wrong glass just like I thought I tried to make me another appointment at a location that could come to my work and they just no-show no email no phone call but the appointment is still showing. I just don't understand how they're still in business or why anyone would ever choose to go to Safelite.. and this is the third time that I've had to use them because Geico seems to think that in California $40 an hour is good enough for a glass replacement. But that's a whole Nother story I could tell you about the time they wrecked all the stripes on my hellcat and had to replace the window three times and then still scratched my paint that they never fixed. Oh, I guess I just told you about it. Why would you ask me to contact you when that is impossible. Online chat? Why wast my time? No phone number ever gets you a human. Hopefully people see this and stop using you. Also for anyone reading this that has Geico, they told me if I click the other button to choose a my own place, more recommendations appear. Yeah, Geico is definitely part of the problem.

I submitted a claim for a cracked windshield and was booked for an appointment the next day. They…read moregave me a 5 hour window (8 am to 1 pm) for when the technician would arrive. On the day of the appointment, it was raining, so the technician called around 8:15 am to suggest me driving to the shop instead. The drive was short since I live nearby. It was easy to locate. There was plenty of parking. I went inside and got checked in. I sat in the lobby and there was only 1 other person waiting inside. I waited for about 45 minutes, then my windshield was fixed. The windshield looked great and was super clear. They also replaced my windshield wipers. I took the tape off the next day and haven't had any issues with it. Cons: One of the staff members inside was talking super loud the entire time I was there. Also, I paid $400 for the windshield repair, which is pretty steep. I wish I had called around first because other auto shops charged significantly less ($250-$300).

My review however is about their commitment to quality and warranty on their work. Fast forward over 10 months and the window slid down again during this rainy season and I was left without being able to drive. I called and quickly explained the situation and he said no worries come in the next day once the part arrives. The parts have lifetime warranty. He fixed it while I waited and was back on my way. It was reassuring to me as my husband always deals with these things but was out of town. The whole process was simple and straightforward. You can see the years of experience they have dealing with these car issues. Thank you for getting me back on the road, much appreciated. :)

I chose to wait in the garden- appreciated the sun option and the shade option, instead of the inside waiting area. Dylan pointed out a rock chip in my windshield and was able to fix it . Andy explained how to get it reimbursed by my insurance-even providing a separate receipt for convenience. I trust these guys and felt cared for. I'm happy to leave this review for others! The only thing I didn't like was I had to circle the parking lot 2 times to find the place, even with gps. I included a picture for you- drive to the end of the cul de sac- and turn right into the parking lot, it'll be on your right. It's located on the south west corner of the building. I'm happy I found this place!

I was looking for a decent place to get my front brakes replaced. I called the Toyota dealer and it…read morewas $325 for generic parts while Toyota parts was $420. This was just for the pads no rotors. I got a hold of this place and they gave me a quote of $460 with new rotors installed too. The reviews on this place were really good on Yelp Plus I knew some of the people who reviewed them. So I tried them. I called the next day to see if they could fit me in and they said they could do it in a couple of hours. I was going to wait there since the wife was at work. I brought my car there and they looked over my car and ordered the parts. They would be there in 15 minutes. These guys seemed really knowledgeable and very friendly. He gave me $25 bucks off for paying in cash. Anything off is good. Just a note if you use a credit card the company charges 3% more so cash is much better. Their waiting room has lots of different seats to sit in and there were two really padded chairs so I was really comfortable sitting while they worked on my car. The really nice thing about them is the speed. my car was done in under one hour . that was amazing. They guarantee their work for one year. I love it. I will be coming back for my other cars if I need work done again. Top notch place SO far my brakes are smooth and quiet. I don't think they tested the brakes when they were do because later after driving a while there was smoke coming from the brakes. It happens if the film on the pads are still on there or you leave some grease from you hands heheh. Still working great and I could see that they turned the rotors by looking at them .
