This place should be closed down. The guy at the fron desk told me I had a nail in the side of my tire, which could not be fixed and that I needed four new tires which they could replace for $1,100. He showed me a photo. So this is not one person 's error, it is policy at this rip off place. I went to a tire store. They fixed the tire (because the nail was not in the side of the tire) and told me my tires were fine. Jiffy Lube would have stolen $1,100 from me! This is horrible. do not go there! They also sold me an air filter which I now doubt I needed. read more

I came into this Jiffy Lube on 9/11/25 for an oil change on my 2022 Ram Laramie 4x4 EcoDiesel. I was quoted a price I thought was high but had the service performed anyway. When they asked for feedback I was honest. Cheyenne and staff were excellent, but the price was high and more than I pay at the dealer. Shortly after the feedback I received a call from Johnny wanting to discuss the situation. We missed each others phone calls but after another call I spoke again with Cheyenne and she mentioned that they were offering me a free oil change on my next visit! Totally acceptable place for a quick oil job. They quotes my 1.5 hours and I ended up being in and out within about 45 minutes. There were a few cars ahead of me but they do a good job of keeping track of who's next and maneuvering cars around to keep it fair. Of course, I got the usual "your tires need replacing" and "your filter is dirty" but I'm used to that. Everyone was pleasant and professional. I would return here again instead of paying 3x the amount at the BMW dealership across the highway. read more

Im so sick of this jiffy lube, pull in hour wait ok no problem . As I sit here and watch car after car pull in tobe serviced, I finally ask about my car. Oh oops made a mistake and your car was supposed to be in before these other cars, Ya no kidding. How hard is it to look at the computer and see my car has been sitting here. In the past they were trying to upsell everything including a new oil pan plug, which I thought was pretty ridiculous. Open on Sundays! I can never find a place open that works with my late hours and random weekends off. There was no wait, no appointment needed and they accept Apple Pay! Less than an hour of wait for my complicated vehicle. Very friendly workers and waters offered for the rising heat. There is indoor and outdoor waiting. read more

Daquan Funches Service: Oil change Do NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE THEY have ruined my car took it there for an oil change on 1/19/23 left back home while driving on the highway I realized my oil light was on my car completely shut off put in me in life threatening situation and causing me trauma when I got to safety I check my engine oil on my dipstick and there was no oil at all and my car was smoking and no longer able to move completely immobilized I was using my car all day and the moment my vehicle left ur establishment my vehicle will not start or move they didn't not put oil in my vehicle I have evidence as well as witness and personal knowledge of a friend who has also went thru the same thing with your company now I have no way to get to work or do any of the necessary things in my life it has now caused my stress levels to be high unnecessary out of pockets expenses I now have to pay for a rental out of my pocket and they are refusing fix the damages they have caused my engine to seize and lock up therefore I have to get a new engine/replacement causing a burden on my on my daily work life I will not be takin my vehicle here anymore neither should anybody reading this review I still have yet to be contacted about the damages or reimbursement to fix my vehicle I have filed a complaint and and the resolution is not satisfactory for me as a customer I will take this dispute to small claims court read more

Update: 9/18/21: Received a very professional and courteous call from Lorena the next day. I went back to the SLO JiffyLube and she very professionally walked me through the fluid levels, they were fine. We are working together to find clips for the housing, that should resolve any issue there. Obviously this JL store cares how their customers feel, you don't find that anymore! I look forward to working with them in the future. ***This place does not know what they are doing. They are kind enough, but they broke the housing of my engine air filter by forcing it back in place. First the tech did it then the supervisor finished it off. Lost the clips in the process. They showed me filters that did not come from my car for an upsale. DID NOT top off my fluids at all but charged me a hefty 80+ dollars for the oil I am supposing. Stay away!! read more

Jiffy Lube still gives great service and excellent customer service. Wait time is always good. Prices always good too. We have been using Jiffy Lube for all three vehicles; a 2001 F150 w/370,874 miles; 2004 Prius w/over 300,000 miles; and, 2010 Camry w/250,000 miles It's been 14 years of patronizing Jiffy Lube and still have never been disappointed. The Yelp check in offers are truly good. Have never been disappointed with those deals either. The wait lobby is comfy, there is a Keurig to have coffee or tea, television, magazines, newspapers. Just sit back and relax. Or, You can easily go to House of Bagels, Subway, Taco King to grab something yummy; or, cross street to Sunshine Donuts and get more yumminess:)). Tasty choices! I come to Jiffy Lube for one reason - convenience. You don't need an appointment and they typically only take about 30 minutes or so to change the oil on your car. While they work on your car, you are welcome to wait in their lobby inside where they have free coffee and magazines to kill the time. They even have wifi! It is a comfortable space. I am no car junkie, so I sometimes do not know exactly what needs to be done to my car. The mechanics will make recommendations but they never pressure you into purchasing an extra service. They are simply letting you know that it is an option. If you are in the market for a good, quick oil change - Jiffy Lube is a great place to stop by! read more

Usually my boyfriend changes my oil for me but he was on vacation and my car threatened me we a limpmode jolt which I knew meant I was out of oil. They have free wifi and coffee available. If you want you can stay in your car the whole time and get the thrill of driving the car up on the rails. I watched them change my oil and check the level at least 5 times. I was also told that they do free top offs and recommend I take advantage of that since i allowed my car to run out of oil. read more

They've got a special brand of moron working here. One that leaves transmission fluid-soaked rags on exhaust manifolds, and puts regular power steering fluid in Acuras because they're too stupid to know to use Honda-specific fluid. I saw smoke coming from under my hood, pulled over to check things out & that's when I found a smoldering red rag on my exhaust manifold that smelled like burnt transmission fluid. PS pump started making a whirring noise just after my visit, I tried draining the fluid & replacing it with correct fluid and what do you know, the noise went away & my power steering is fine again. I don't know where they got all these good reviews, because my experience was garbage. And to top it all off, the older bullish lady with the butch haircut was rude too, needing a punch in the mouth. read more

Called and asked for a full transmission service. Told the young lady on the phone that I wasn't sure if my vehicle needed a transmission filter but she told me she would find out. Turns out my vehicle does require transmission filter swap with the transmission fluid service in order to prevent the filter from clogging. The mechanic replaced the fluid only and not the filter. When I mentioned my vehicle is a 2013 carolla with auto transmission that needed the filter done as part of the service I was told "we do OUR transmission service at Jiffy Lube which only includes fluid". Why would I come to jiffy lube for a half assed transmission service? Now I get to pay another mechanic to do my transmission service all over again. Horrible service and won't be back. read more

I've been here a STon of times and never reviewed, it's time too... Over the years I've probably brought five different cars here and returned numerous times. I come here because it's convenient and they're fast and do the job without any hassle. I opted for the full service today as it's part of the BDay service for the car. I do this every year in her BDay month. Already topped the fuel and next is the car wash. So short story long come here, I enjoyed a breakfast bagel next door during my 46 minute wait. I'll start off by saying I NEVER leave reviews (whether good or bad) but if I could give zero stars I would. I went to these guys for a simple oil change, and they kept trying to upsell me on items that I could literally buy for half the price at Auto Zone not even 100 ft away. Then they did not correctly replace my skid plate, and told me that is was not their fault when I returned to ask them about it. They didn't give me any reasoning on why it would do that, they just said that it wasn't their fault. Terrible customer service. Never going here again. read more

Had to change cars oil. Arrived and saw another man in a slick back ponytail helping someone who arrived after us. So was confused and called out to the man who responded super snarky and rude when we were trying to get help. Immediately felt uncomfortable and worried if he was gonna comment again about our "impatience." He then chatted with his coworkers and did not help us. Some other nice man helped us. I suggest taking photos of your car before you come into this place. There are no active cameras to see if any possible damage has happened to your car. I have a brand new car and when I left I noticed a dent on my hood. When calling back they said their cameras are not active and could not help me. Whether coming in for an oil change or to just top off my fluids (which is free btw!) they always perform quality work and are enjoyable to do business with. No aggressive salesmen or recommended repairs you don't need. (Kyle is awesome to work with and will always give you a reason to smile and laugh) Highly recommend if you're in need of an oil change and you know everything else is good with your vehicle. NO SYNTHETIC BLEND OIL CHANGES Went to Jiffy Lube SLO to get synthetic blend oil change. Their website says that they carry synthetic blend (as well as every oil change place I've been to for 10+ years). The associate said that they haven't had a synthetic blend for the three years since she has been there. Jiffy Lube, please fix your website to advertise only what you offer. Hopefully this is an honest mistake and not a bait and switch technique to upcharge customers to full synthetic that have been using synthetic blend and don't want to use conventional oil. read more

In and out in 20 minutes? Try more like 2 hours. Truck in front of my sat for what I presume at least an hour on the bay. Finally got to my 2015 X5 and thought I'd be different, nope. Another hour. Technician struggled to even reset my oil indicator. I had to tell him that I'd do it since he was sitting on my seat for about 10 minutes. To add, he left his dirty rags in my vehicle. I will more than likely never go to another Jiffy Lube location again in my life. They provided a sub-par signature oil change. I will mention; however, the technician and assistant manager of this shop were very friendly. Where it all went to "hell in a handbasket," figuratively speaking, was them not replacing a faulty by-pass hose that needed obvious replacing. In all reality, and hindsight, many of the hoses on my vehicle, a 2006 Subaru Forester, needed replacing. But none of these repairs were assessed correctly and brought to my attention by the service technician. Nor was there any mention of this from the assistant manager on duty. The result was a by-pass hose that split down the middle, about 2 inches in length--subsequently leaking out my coolant for the vehicle--resulting in overheating, which blew my head gasket. I had to have the car towed, adequately diagnosed by an ASE-certified mechanic. For whom, verified, my vehicle had blown a head gasket. It was causing me to fork out nearly $4600 in repairs to get the car back on the road. The real kicker here and least saving grace of this entire situation is the district manager of this location, who fought tooth and nail to not take any accountability for this repair whatsoever. I thanked him enough for offering me his time of day; however, I have seldom encountered someone who treated me with such disrespect, paired with a pretentious and condescending attitude, lastly, someone who posed such a patronizing demeanor. Long story short, I have severed all my business ties with Jiffy Lube for now. I will not return to one until they do right by this situation. I will not go back to one. I will not recommend one to one of my clients and associates. In essence, I will no longer be a patron of this business until they adequately apologize. Good day! read more
