Came here on a Tuesday morning at 10 AM and was serviced immediately. I am so impressed with this place. I had tried to get my oil changed with my Dodge dealership to no avail. Their service department is the worst. Jiffy Lube is another story. Their prices are good plus they have coupons. The best part of my experience was to have the mechanic come out to me and go over the results of all the things that he checked. He made me feel like my car was serviced properly. This was very important to me because I was about to go out on the road for three months and I need to feel that my car is working properly. Love this place and I will be back again. read more

Awesome place to come and get my car serviced. Staff is really friendly and fast.!! Went there for a tire rotation and I gotta say, it didn't take long at all unlike the agency's where they make you wait 3 hrs for things to get done. Don't trust your vehicle to the people working at Jiffy Lube. They up sold me a brake light that wasn't burned out. Watched them not change the bulb. Tried to up sell me filters that didn't need replacing. One time they forgot to put the dipstick back in the engine. Worst service I've ever had at a Jiffy Lube, not with the quality of work done, but from the attitude of the "manager" on duty. I assume he was the manager, since he was there only employee wearing slacks and a dress shirt. I pulled up behind another vehicle, he made no effort to indicate to pull around and it was a courteous tech who waved me in. Manager comes up to my vehicle, barely mumbles out "Welcome to Jiffy Lube..." and then proceeds to ask which type of oil do I want without explaining the difference. The two techs who actually did the work on my vehicle were awesome, friendly, and helped me to understand what they were doing to my vehicle. Manager eventually approaches my vehicle, hands me my receipt, and walks away without saying goodbye or thank you, even after I thanked him and told him to have a great day. EVERY time I've ever gone to a Jiffy Lube, the manager ALWAYS gives me a breakdown of what was done to my vehicle and shows me the condition of my air filter. This did NOT happen this time and I was not even told how low my oil was, which is pretty basic information every time I visit a location. This young "manager" needs to be retrained in customer service and interpersonal communication skills and needs to leave his arrogant attitude at home. Also, maybe train him to actually help out with servicing vehicles, instead of just watching the techs do all the work. I have never seen a Jiffy Lube manager in a dress shirt and slacks, they are always helping out their techs and helping customers to better understand the service performed on their vehicles. read more

I visited the shop around 11:00 on Friday before Labor day. There were about four vehicles in front of me when I arrived. I was greeted by a service person who took my keys and directed me to the waiting room. He noted that there were free soda drinks and popcorn available at no cost while I waited. After about a 30 minute wait, my truck was entered into the service bay area. 10-15 minutes later, a technician came and shared a printout with recommended maintenance procedures at a variety of costs. He also had removed the air filter for my inspection. I rejected the offers for several maintenance procedures because I knew they were not yet needed as per my owners manual. I did approve the oil change and tire rotation. The service took another 30 minutes. I observed most of it through the viewing glass in the waiting rooms. Padding was place over my vehicles fender where the oil change took place. I also noted that the technicians took appropriate care as they place the truck on a lift to rotate the tires. The tires lugs were all tightened using both an air wrench and a hand torque wrench. I was unable to observe the setting. The technician was appropriately careful as he moved the tires around the truck and displayed very professional behavior. The final bill was presented to me and discounts were applied for coupons that I found on the internet. The cost was very similar to what I had experienced near my prior home in Michigan. Total time was about 90 minutes from arrival to completion. All personnel were very polite and professional. read more

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value Very disappointed with customer service. Yesterday, a little before 5pm, I took my minivan in for oil change and headlight restoration. I told him that I noticed the headlights weren't bright enough when I drive at night. He said they do offer that service for $79. The attendant who helped me was very friendly and helpful with acknowledging the services I wanted. When my van was done, close to 6pm, which is almost their closing time, it was parked outside the lobby, and the attendant who greeted me and handled the transaction said, "As you can see, the headlight restoration was also completed." I saw both headlights were on. When I got on the road to pick up my daughters after their school extracurricular, I noticed that the brights were on, instead of the "dim headlight." When I arrived to pick up my daughters, I went in front of the van to check the "dim headlight" and the passenger side was out. The time was 6:15pm, and I knew Jiffy Lube would be closed. I left Santa Fe at 6:45 pm and it was already getting dark. I commute 60 miles home, and the entire time I had only one working headlight. I couldn't use my brights due to other cars. I could've been given a ticket from authorities if I was pulled over. It's also not safe to drive with only one headlight working, especially at night. I also drive on winding, two lane highways which has wildlife often running across the highway. This was unsafe and unnecessary if Jiffy Lube was thorough in their work. I returned to Jiffy Lube the following morning a little after 8am and explained that I brought my van in with two working headlights, and only noticed it worked with the brights on. I told the attendant that I don't know if something was done while the headlight restoration was being completed or of there's an electrical short. I mentioned that both headlights were working before I came in, however, I wanted the headlight restoration done to make the lights brighter. This attendant recognized my van from yesterday and said, "I saw that the dim headlight wasn't working and asked if you were notified and he didn't say anything." Later, when another attendant showed me the light fuse, indicating that the brights worked but the dim one was out, I explained again that the van had the brights on when I was given back my vehicle, but I noticed that the dim headlight was out when I got to my destination. I said, "The attendant neglected to inform me that my dim headlight was out, and I had to drive last night without it properly working." He explained, "When headlight restoration is done, the brights are left on to seal it." I said, "However, it was neglected to inform me that my fuse was out." No apologies were given or acknowledgement of negligence, only that it can be replaced and "I can be on my way." Fortunately, there is 15% discount for AAA members so I applied that to my service. I will NOT return to this location again in the future! They were neglectful and unprofessional! Take your business to the other two locations on Cerrillos Road, which is where I usually go, but only went to this location because I happened to be in the area, and prior to this service, I haven't ever had poor customer service at any previous Jiffy Lube location, including out of state. read more

Went to get a basic oil change and have used this location several times. Staff was very friendly and seemed professional. Everything went good, EXCEPT the next day when we pulled out of our garage we noticed a big pool/ puddle of oil on our garage floor. We immediately drove back to this Jiffy Lube and they checked it out. Told us that the oil filter was not tightened properly.... Ummm pretty basic stuff from a LUBE & OIL SERVICE COMPANY... they fixed it and gave us some shop rags and some degreaser in a can after I demanded something to clean up the "friggin" oil spill that was all over our new garage floor (house less than 2 yrs old). We got back home, used a roll of paper towels to do the initial sopping up, then used the degreaser and shop rags. Still slick as hell with a nice OIL STAIN too. Not happy "repeat customers" and will most likely try another company in the future. We are just happy that this didn't happen on a road trip or this Jiffy Lube might be paying for a new 6.6 turbo Diesel engine replacement and those are not cheap!!!! read more

Only an oil change came to $56.00, I handed the guy my coupon and he only took off $16 which made it $40. What a rip-off. If you have a coupon that states $31 then that is what you should get. Went for a simple oil change. Was quoted a price of $48. When it was time to pay the price suddenly went to $58. When I asked why the price jumped, I was told it was for the oil filter and 1/2 quart of extra oil. This is bate and switch and the owner should go to jail. Went in for a oil change and tire rotation. 10am to 11:30. One hour and a half later a mechanic that was working on my truck let me know that he stripped three lug nut s and studs. Could not take them off. They would not fix the problem they made. Why ? Now I have to pay to fix what they did! No consideration for there customers. No way to run a business!!! read more

Justin at this Jiffy Lube went above and beyond for my husband and I. Our car died on the last day of our Santa Fe vacation, and we were supposed to drive the 11 hours back to Austin, TX the next morning. Justin took a look at it and said it looked like we needed a new alternator, but it was already 5 and they couldn't get the part until the next day. Next day, Justin replaced the alternator but some concerning codes were coming back that he didn't have authority to fix at jiffy lube. He referred us to another mechanic he knows, came and picked us up where we were staying, and walked us through everything that was happening with our car. Turns out it was his day off, but he said he really wanted to help us get on the road. Can't say enough good things about the service he gave us, really nice guy. read more

When I saw them doing the oil change I noticed the oil cap was face down on the dirty engine area and that none of the engine was wiped down and where they placed the oil cap was dirty and the whole area around where the oil goes in was dirty. When I got to where I was going I opened the hood and the area around where the oil goes in was all oily and the cap was not fully tightened. I don't know if they just threw the oil in along with all the dirt around the hole or if they left the oil cap so loose that oil was coming out and going back in around the cap - with all the dirt that was around it. I hadn't been to a Jiffy Lube in probably 20 years since going to the one at the corner of Cerrillos and Osage in Santa Fe on a road trip and they told me I had an oil leak. I had just traveled thousands of miles and had never noticed any oil spots when I left a space. They told me I needed hundreds of dollars of repairs or that I may not make it back to NJ. I went to Kmart and put in a $3 bottle of stop leak in and had zero problems ever with that car. I thought after 20+ years, I'd give a different Jiffy Lube in Santa Fe a try. I shouldn't have. For 20 years I've been telling people about my first experience. I guess I have a new story for the next 20. Horrible. Don't go to any Jiffy Lube. Tell a friend. Tell everyone. read more

I went there to get a simple oil change and oil filter change. When I pulled up there, I told the guy that I needed an oil change only. With regular oil, which should normally not cost more than 25 USD. I even mentioned that I don't want the wiper fluid filled up which they usually do. At no point during the whole process was I asked if I wanted their $&*?) signature service. When the change was finished and it came to paying, I was astonished when the guy asked for 45.97 USD. Upon my question why it's such a high price the guy was blabbering something about higher wages in the area and so everything was a bit more expensive there. I was so taken by surprise by this nonsense that I didn't ask any further and payed and left. My mistake was that I didn't look closely enough at the invoice which read 'SS' for signature service. Which I didn't ask for and which I didn't want. Maybe I might not mind if they at least had performed all the stuff that come with a signature service. But they definately did not do all that, so what we've got here is plain and simply a rip off. I have read a lot of bad reviews about Jiffy Lube in different places nationwide and so far I ignored it, used Jiffy Lube twice and thought maybe these other people just have been unlucky. But obviously Jiffy Lube's service IS mediocre and you're lucky if you don't have any problems. If I can avoid Jiffy Lube in the future, I definately will. At least I will be very cautious if there is no other oil change service option. read more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE I took my Nissan truck in to this Jiffy Lube a couple of weeks ago for their "Signature Service." I was approached when I first drove up, left my keys in the truck, and went inside. The individual who had approached me also came inside. He began looking at his computer screen. After a few minutes I said something to him. He told me you need to go up front. I did that and waited while the "manager" waited on another customer. He then began looking at his computer screen. I sat down and waited for 30 minutes before the "manager" acknowledged me. I told him I had an appointment in half an hour. He assured me they would begin working on my truck right away. When they were done, I paid and got in my truck. I quickly saw that the truck had not been vacuumed. I told one of the technicians and he said we only vacuum the floor. Their service says they vacuum the interior. In fact, it appears that they only vacuum the front floor mats. I drove to my appointment and when I came out an hour later my left front tire was flat. The "technician" had failed to screw the cap on tightly and all the air had leaked out. I called AAA. They came out and re-inflated the tire. I went to Jiffy Lube to tell them what they had done. They showed little interest. I said I wanted a refund since the service was not done satisfactorily and I was stranded. The "manager" started to tell me about how he was not authorized, but he would call the district manager. Of course, that manager was "unavailable." The "manager" told me he would contact the district manager later and see that a refund or a gift card for future service would be sent to me. I never heard from them. Occasionally, service companies make mistakes. It is what they do after the mistake that defines them. In Jiffy Lube's case, it is clear that they care more about getting your money than providing service or fixing problems. read more

Got oil changed on Monday 8/16/2016. Everything went ok EXCEPT the next day, we noticed a good sized pool of oil underneath the vehicle. ( This vehicle had ZERO leaks BEFORE we took it here.) Went back on Wednesday and was talked to in a condecsending manner by DONNIE GUTIERREZ, I guess cuz I am a Woman? He stated that everything was tightened and that I was told on the day of oil change, that the oil pan was cracked. I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS! AND, IF THAT WERE THE CASE, WOULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN LEAKING PRIOR TO THIS OIL CHANGE? Then he proceeded to tell me the oil gasket was cracked. Hmmmm, is it the pan or the gasket? I was never offered any solution to this, just rudeness. I took it to an actual PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC, and he told me that these kinds of chains often sabbotage vehicles to ensure more business. WARNING: This Jiffy Lube seems to be unwilling to stand behind their work. I took my vehicle to get an oil change and they put in the wrong oil which caused problems for my engine. Now they are refusing to make it right and stand behind their work. The Manager Vanessa and Assistant Manager Justin were of no help. I have had to take it up with their corporate offices but have not heard from them yet. I guess I will find out if this problem is just with this one store or a problem at the corporate level with all of their stores. Will update when I hear from the corporate office. read more

Half-butted work. Didn't check air in tires, spilled oil all over the scrape plate, didn't check for leaks. I drove 7 hrs to see my family and the oil light came on. I took the car to another jiffy lube on my vacation. They had to replace the oil filter, clean off the scrape plate and engine, and top off the oil. I let these guys do a brake job on my car too. 2.5+ hrs to change the oil and a Serpentine belt that the said would take an additional 15 minutes. $130. Additionally they did not check the tire pressure, they did not vacuum the interior, they did not wash the windows, and they did not lube the upper control arms after I specifically asked them to grease them. They did check each of these items as COMPLETE on the receipt. WTF? So the whole 2+ hrs my truck was sitting in the bay, they did none of those standard things included with service. It makes me wonder what else they did not do. Did they actually check the differential and transmission fluids? They weren't so much unprofessional as straight up lied about what was done. The manager did nothing in the way of additional discount. He did offer to pull my truck back in and perform the services that they lied about doing. After waiting for 2 hrs and 45 minutes I declined and left. I can somewhat understand they mistakenly got the wrong belt but saying they performed services which they obviously did not is unacceptable. I will never go back here and no one else should either. Hopefully they put the new belt on correctly. I'm hesitant to believe they were just having an off day when that many things were wrong. read more

Made multiple attempts to get into contact with the location manager but it seems like he is avoiding me. Got my oil changed on 5-03-16. On that day the location hit a portion of my exhaust on the metal lips that come out of the shop. Then proceeded to tell me I was good to go without saying anything at all to me. Once I stared the car it was instantly twice as loud as it was when I brought it in. After that I discovered that my exhaust was hanging and dragging on the road. I took it back and the employees attempt at fixing it failed as the exhaust fell back off once I started driving down the road. The location manager said he would call me back after he contacted his "higher boses" and I still have not heard anything. read more
