    Cool! He's in the waiting area. }:{

    This place was recommended by the nice manager at AutoZone, after he kindly looked under my hood, and saw how something something would have to be removed in order to reach the bulb I needed replaced. I truly have noticed LOYA'S OIL CHANGE & AUTOMOTIVES in general, but hey I have learned my lesson about going to a business for service on a whim. Anyhoo. I drove straight over. Someone walked over to my car asking how may I help you. I told him what I needed; he was apologetic for asking if I mind coming back in an hour to be served. I could see they were busy bees at the moment. I took that as a second positive for them knowing how to work on cars. I returned a little later than one hour. They were ready for me, and I was ready to get my signal light fixed. It took less than thirty minutes for my car. I sat comfortably in their waiting area. They accept cash, credit cards, and Apple Pay. Uhm I did not see a restroom, but luckily you can walk across the street to McDonald's for food or to use the restroom if that is what you need. I will be back for more services if needed.

    Good mechanic gone bad!! Lost my business!!

    They are fair and provide efficient services. They generally get you in and out the same day. Nice waiting area.

    I come here to get my oil change and it's usually pretty fast. It's just kinda awkward to back out when there's other drivers around.

    There's a bit of a language barrier, as Rolando has a heavy accent and his youngest mechanic speaks little English.

I showed up stressed out after dealing with an oil pressure issue overnight on my Ram 1500. I got there right at 7:30 when they opened, and before I could even finish parking, a guy named Elijah comes walking straight out with a smile, like he's been waiting for me all morning. I told him what was going on, oil pressure all over the place, worried it was something serious, and he just said, "Don't worry, man. We'll take care of you." And he actually meant it. No corporate script, no fake friendliness, just a guy who clearly knows cars and actually gives a damn. He walked me through everything, what oil they use, why they use it, what filter they were putting on, even checked my air filter and fluids without once trying to upsell me like every other oil place on earth. (You know the kind, the ones who act like your transmission's about to explode if you don't buy their $79.99 "Performance Package.") Not here. Elijah showed me my air filter, topped off my coolant and wiper fluid, and didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary. In fact, he was so genuine that when he mentioned wiper blades, which I actually needed, I bought them without hesitation. That's how you know a guy's honest, when you want to spend money with him. The shop itself is small from the outside, but don't let that fool you, they've got serious equipment and even better attitudes. It's clean, organized, and clearly run by people who take pride in what they do. I'm not even from Houston (I'm up in Dallas), but after this experience, I might just start timing my oil changes for when I'm down here on business. Seriously. I was going to go to Take 5 down the street, but the reviews there read like a horror story, people claiming they didn't even change the oil, just topped it off. Dodged a bullet. Elijah, man, you crushed it. You made what's usually a chore feel like catching up with a friend who happens to be really good at cars. You deserve a raise, a trophy, and possibly your own Netflix show called "The Oil Whisperer." So yeah, if you're anywhere near Houston, skip the chain shops and go to Costa Oil. Ask for Elijah. You'll leave with fresh oil, a clean conscience, and the strange feeling that getting an oil change can actually be... enjoyable.

No idea what's going on. I sure hope I don't break down now. What. Will follow up if my truck bricks. Update: turns out there were missing bolts for my skid plate and several were stripped out/broken. So they updated to all new bolts. Nice gesture! However, they informed me of this AFTER doing it, which apparently added a significant amount of time. It's best to tell someone BEFORE you make them sit there for an extra 30 minutes, why you're making them sit there for an extra 30 minutes. Nice customer service, and at the same time, terrible customer service.

    I hate leaving a bad review, but this was a really bad experience. We did go on a Saturday (March…read more14th), and there was one car being worked on, and another car behind it. So, we thought we should be out of there in about 30 minutes. It ended up taking two hours. There were 3 employees working. Only one seemed to know what he was doing. He was underneath the car, and commented on the skid plate. He then switched places with another employee while he went to work on the car in the other bay. This employee was asking him questions about what he should be doing, which really made me nervous. No sticker with the mileage that the car should get a new oil change. I imagine it's a pretty decent value for an oil change you aren't worried about, but the experience made me feel nervous. The check engine light came on days afterwards, I know it probably just didn't get reset, but either way. My husband left a review,which was responded to, but he called, was told he would receive a call back, but it's been 3 days, and nothing. I will not be visiting this location again based on wait time and competence.
