Jiffy Lube on Old Trolley Road, staffed by manager, Diamond, and service personnel, Treyvon and Sam provided an excellence experience. All were friendly and professional. They gave me a choice of staying in my car or having a seat in the office area. I was offered a cold bottle of water. They quickly changed my oil, inspected my fluids, and put air in my tires, washed my windshield and used the air hose to remove all the leaves caught in the space underneath the wipers. They protected my seat and steering wheel with plastic and the floor with a paper mat. Diamond expressed her concern about one tire that was lower than the others that she thought I might have picked up something and was still in my tire. (I went to Mavis where I had bought my tire to get it checked. She hit the nail on the head. My tire had a nail in it.) I was pleasantly surprised at the cost as I was expecting more. They certainly deserved the 5 stars. read more

Worst service ever. Received an oil change. Shortly after oil change, went on a trip and had to pull over half way due to check engine light. Had the vehicle towed to auto repair shop. Found out that all the oil drained out due to the filter not being properly installed. Notified the shop and received the run around. Submitted a claim with Jiffy Lube Corporate. Was NEVER able to get ANYONE from Jiffy Lube to contact me. After 3 weeks of near constant calling, received an email denial stating there was an unusual engine noise on arrival. An engine noise will not cause oil to leak out through an improperly install oil filter. DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE!! Not 1 person had the decency to call a customer with an issue. read more

I got my oil changed here 3 months ago. I had to go get another one two days ago because my oil was so low every time I turned the light would flash on. I found out my cap was not properly tightened, so I had been losing oil. I was supposed to have 2,000 more miles before a change. I went recently to Jiffy Lube for basic oil change which I have used Jiffy Lubes in the past in different States. I had a $15.00 coupon which I used and service was great in and out in 10 minutes. The guys very polite but when I paid after the coupon was used I was taken back on the charge of $96.99 for basic oil change. I said this had to be a mistake and had never paid this amount for oil change. I contacted corporate and they gave me DM info and to date nothing has been done. read more

I definitely want to NOT suggest these people to do your inspections on vehicles bc they pretty much like to take advantage of people at all cost. I have used them once before where one of the employees gave me a heads up about inspection requirements before so I was able to fix it before they told me to pay them. I went to take care of that issue before giving them my money that time bc that employee was a descent human being. But today was a completely differently experience with the POS manager there. When I say keeping customers is not their main goal then today is definitely one of those days. The first thing the manager looked at was my front tires, then proceeded to do all of the other inspection requirements then at the last minute when it was time to pay him $20, they showed me a paper saying failed bc of the first thing he looked at. He said it was bc he did the whole inspection. But I made sure to tell him he could've at least told me & I will definitely not ever use them again. What a POS to take advantage of a woman like that. He is definitely NOT manager material. He could've told me that since that was literally the first thing he looked at. These people rather rob you of a measly $20 then keep a faithful customer bc of their greed.. I will never go back there & I've already told everyone I know how messed up that was. Needed an oil change during a recent trip. This place was recommended by a family member. I though I would go check it out for grins. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about all the services. They also keep their customers well updated about how much longer your visit will be. Went on Christmas Eve and was surprised to see Jiffy Lube was even open. The young attendant came out and gave details on what they were going to do to the car during the inspection. The information made me feel more relaxed as a first time customer During the inspection, the staff found the engine filter to be quite disgusting. They pulled it out and replaced it upon verbal approval. They made other recommendations that will be taken care of at a later time back home. The staff answered all my questions and got me on my way. I will warn that depending on what type of oil you need, it could be costly. I had to have a synthetic blend. Overall a good trip. read more

If I could give less than 1 I would. The issue has NOTHING to do with staffing... there are 4 people here but they are slower than slow, no one spoke to me about what I needed done, the workers are walking around with no sense of urgency drinking energy drinks. I'm beyond angry. read more

If I didn't desperately need an oil change I would have left. They smoke heavily in the waiting area, so my kids and I walked in to a smokey nasty waiting room. We ended up waiting outside on an almost 100 degree day just because it was so bad. I can see why there was no wait! I won't be coming back. read more

Interesting experience at the jiffy lube this morning. I always come to either this location or the one on Ashley phosphate. Today the service rep tells me I had zero oil in my car. I was a bit surprised and questioned him so we walked outside and spoke to the tech who said it was low but it did have oil. Next as I am checking out he says we didn't check the air filter bc whoever tightened last time screwed it on to tight. We pull the service history and it was serviced at this location last time...imagine that. He then says well we didn't want to break it so we just left it alone. Wish the guy would get his story straight before telling a customer he doesn't have oil in his car. For the most part I get good service here but today was a fail. read more

Wonderful job by wonderful and friendly people. This is my third year with Jiffy Lube at 1672 Old Trolley Road Summerville, SC. I have you used them before for oil change, but also for car inspectionl; however, this is the first time I write a review. Every time the I go I enjoy the whole atmosphere in and around the store is really great. I gave a 5 star for several reasons: 1. No one smoking on the waiting room, so it smell clean. 2. The workers that were there (a young lady and a young man) were both very friendly. 3. The work was fast and I did not even had to wait more than 15 minutes. I do not mind to wait if there is a need, but in any case they were pretty good with time. 4. The service has always been efficient and thus I am a returning customer. Arnold read more

Paid $100 for an oil change (yes $100) only to have my car start leaking oil immediately. Paid $60 at the dealership for another oil change because these idiots used the wrong drain plug in my car. Stopped in july 3rd. the only person working was a veteren worker. I could tell he knew what he was doing, also talked so fast I could not think that quick. He kept pushing for the synethic oil. Saying that they wont cover my car if I choose convential ?? what ?? then said it was $75 wow. I told him I was on vacation here, He have me a coupon, ok cool. Then told me that my car needed 5W30, clearly states on the engine 5W20. I told him no, I want 5W20. I know why he tried to push that oil. The 5w20 was in the wall rack and had to be opened and manually poured. Don't care dude, do your job. He was training a new girl, so I was patient. it took 49 mintues. 4 other cars behind me got mad and drove away. Total was 110 !!!! hell no, I had to remind him about the coupon and the discount on my air filter, total was $82. still to high but needed it done. read more

New management here. Excellent customer service, just went in for a standard oil change and the manager went above and beyond to make sure the best service was offered. Keep in mind this is not a mechanic place, they just do oil changes, and minor stuff. I would come back again for any minor services. read more

Beware of this place!! Took my car here for a standard oil change. Seemingly no problems until about a month later when I started leaking oil. Took it to a mechanic and he tells me that the bolts on my oil sending unit were loosened. Actually one had completely fallen out and was missing. According to him it's one of the oldest tricks in the book and that these bolts do not work themselves loose. He fixed it for nothing! When we went back to Jiffy they emphatically denied it and refused to even return our money. Also the district manager took 10 days to return our call and then said he would investigate but never called again. If you ask me this place will cost you more than a simple oil change and doesn't deserve to be in business!! read more

Went to Jiffy Lube hoping our coupon would assist in getting a cheap oil change. Should've gone down the street. Not only was the oil change $40, but they didn't provide all of the services listed that came along with the oil change. Vacuum? Broken, but we could drive across town to another Jiffy Lube and get it done. Windows washed? Only after we reminded them that it came with it. Not to mention there was another guy there with us that wasn't getting either done b/c they just failed to "remember to do it". Pass this place every day and they hardly ever have business and I can tell why. I have been going to Jiffy Lube last 5-7 times for an oil change. I was due Aug 2021 so I went back to get my oil changed. The website said they open at 9 am on weekends. Got there and they did not open the bay doors until 10 am. I was third in line With three employees it took 35 -40 mins each for one car to get an oil change. Once it was my turn, after sitting in a hot bay in my car without air conditioning for about 20 mins they finally tell me that my drain cap is rounded. they asked where I got my last oil change, in which I replied right here. One employee said they would order s new cap from auto zone in which would take an additional 10 mins. After 10 mins they tell me they cannot get the cap off to even drain the oil.. Now 40 mins into my turn in the bay and nothing was done. Spoke to the manager in which she told me this is NOW MY ISSUE. They will not pay for a new cap, or help me fix this issue that they caused. I WILL NEVER GO TO JIFFY LUBE AGAIN. read more
