Good response time, but I didn't have to use him after all. But he was definitely willing and ready

They requested pictures, which we provided, and they said they could fix it but the service call fee was $125. We agreed to pay the fee. They were very responsive at first and showed up on time to do the work. After inspecting the tire, bearings, and hub, they determined that we needed new bearings. My husband went with them to the store and purchased the parts that the repair guy told him to buy. They returned and completed the repair for $285. The next day, we drove 1 hour away to Wadmalaw Island to pick up the horse. When we got to the barn, the tires started smoking, the hub popped off again, and my entire tire fell off. This is extremely dangerous and could have resulted in serious injury to myself, my family, and the horse if it had happened while we were on the road back to NC. Luckily, it happened before we put the horse on the trailer so we were in a safe location. I reached out to CNC and they said that they should have replaced the hub in addition to the bearings. My husband stated that they never asked him to purchase a new hub. In the end, we agreed to receive a $100 refund since the repair did not hold. We had to take an extra day off from work in order to get the trailer to a repair shop on Monday since everything was closed Sunday. When they inspected the wheel when we got there, they found that the old interior bearing was never replaced. CNC just added the new bearing on top of the old one and put the old hub back on. The repair shop said that they would not have been able to secure the bolts well either because of the double bearings so that is the reason the tire fell off. I reached out to CNC and asked for a full refund since they did not actually complete the repair and they put us in a very dangerous situation. They are not responding. They have not taken responsibility for the situation. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to another repair shop versus using this service. We trusted them to fix our trailer and make it safe to drive. They are supposed to be the professionals so we purchased the parts that they told us to and took their word for it when they said it was fixed. Instead, we ended up in a dangerous situation that could have ended much worse if we were on the highway. Please do not put yourself in that situation. Stay safe and take your vehicle to an actual repair shop

They increased the charge of my diagnosis twice and didnt mention the increase until after the fact. I just wanted my vehicle out of there and during the check out process i was almost overcharged $150 after disputing it. It was a mistake on their part but those mistakes occured throughout my entire experience. They also have an AI bot who takes calls and its very frustrating. They are also extremely over priced. As soon as i got my vehicle back i called other shops and they were a 1/3 of the price cheaper than what was quoted. Please spend your time and money elsewhere.

We brought our car in on a Saturday for a specific noise during light acceleration and an overdue…read moreoil change. After diagnostics, we were told the noise was from the CV axles (and that brakes were also needed). We agreed to replace only the axles, quoted at $1,600+, and were told the car would be ready Monday or early Tuesday. From there, communication completely broke down. We received no proactive updates. Multiple calls were routed through an AI system with no callbacks. When I finally reached a person, I was told the staff member handling our car had been out sick and that parts were delayed due to a storm. Totally understandable -- but no one called us, despite us coordinating work, school, therapy appointments, and Uber with one car. We were then told the car would be ready Wednesday, but again received no call. On Wednesday, we were told one axle never arrived and repairs would be done Thursday -- again, no prior notification. When I picked the car up Thursday and paid $1,500, the exact same noise was still present within a quarter mile of driving. I immediately returned. After initially being told it was due to not replacing the brakes (it was not a braking noise), they test-drove the car and then said the real issue was a gunked-up timing chain/belt, which they "fixed" with another oil change and flush. The noise stopped. That raises a serious concern: why were $1,500 axle replacements done when the original issue was misdiagnosed and resolved with an oil change? Had this been correctly identified, we would have made very different decisions. Between the misdiagnosis, repeated missed timelines, lack of communication, and unnecessary expense, this experience was extremely frustrating and left us without confidence in the work performed.

My oil pan gasket leaks a ton of oil, and when I took it back to get it fixed, they blamed the leak on my oil pressure sending unit. When I got the car home, I cleaned all the oil off and the only leak was from the rear of the oil pan. The transmission work I had done they completely messed up. I had the bellhousing replaced, clutch fork replaced, and some other stuff. Recently, I noticed my clutch pedal feeling very heavy and my transmission started grinding when I shift. I pulled the transmission and found that Edwards hadn't put all the fluid that leaked out when they pulled the transmission. There was only 1.5 quarts, when there should be 3 quarts. And to top it all off, none of the bolts for my clutch where tight. Some were hand tight. Because of Edwards, my transmission is destroyed and I have had to replace it myself, and my clutch which was $1,000, is potentially destroyed. Do NOT take your car here

Got it back month later. Called weekly, got the run around, it was almost offensive. One time I was told they were waiting on a really nice piece of trim coming in (by that they meant quarter round you can pick up at any hardware store). They replaced skylight glass saying it was damaged, didn't call first with a price (how do I know it was really damaged), didn't replace the shroud like I asked. Shop folks were not very professional. I thought I was going to spend decent money and get good service, I was wrong. Total bill was $2700, overall experience was not worth that and the picture shown is what was left behind (they did even clean up their mess). Like I say, disappointed.

RV's are not cheap and require regular maintenance. I then purchased a slightly used Winnebago View class C from them. It had a few issues. They got them fixed right away. The main cabin door had some problems. They worked hard to get Winnebago to replace the door under warranty as the RV was pretty much new. They were able to get me a brand new door. They are cosiencious about their customers and they try hard. No RV repair shop is perfect, but they put in a lot of effort to please their customers. George is great, and Maddie in customer service is always professional, nice, and helpful. I would highly recommend Protech. And Paradise RV. These are good people who try hard.
