Jiffy Lube has made a name for itself for it's fast service and great customer satisfaction. I am happy to say that this particular service center didn't disappoint. As soon as you drive up to this place, a customer representative would come up and ask you for the kind of service you require from them. Once you tell them what you need, they then ask you to take a seat insdie their office and take your car for the service. I specifically went for an oil change at this location. Inside, they have a vending machine for some basic drinks and you could see the work being done to your car through the glass. The place is clean and well maintained, has a few seats for customers to sit and the entire process took only a few minutes so you won't be spending a lot of time indoors waiting for your car. They topped up all the fluids, did the oil change and inflated the tire to the correct level. They also cleaned the windows which was a good touch from their part. The synthetic oil change along with the labour charges cost me around $99 which was a little expensive but the prices are comparable to other similar service centers. read more

In April 2021 I took my 2017 Toyota Camry LE for a synthetic oil & filter change at the Jiffy Lube (JL) store #248, address: 424 King George Road, Woodbridge NJ 07095. I had changed the air filter of the Camry on regular intervals. On that day in April, this JL presented me someone's cabin air filter that was chewed up, "blackened" and full of acorn pieces, as if a squirrel had been living in the air vent to the cabin for five+ years. A completely destroyed filter can't be that of a 2-month-old filter on a brand new 2017 Toyota Camry. It's actually preposterous. Checked a new filter a year later and it was still brand new with a bit of dust. And also, one plus years later. Beware! I have been taking all my vehicles here for at least 4 years now. It's nice that everything is on file via license plate. Pretty much walk in, tell them same as last time and thats it. Usually after speaking with the rep, walk down the little hill to Wawa and grab a coffee and come back to the little sitting area outside (weather permitting). By the time I'm done with the coffee, so is the car. This is going Saturdays at like 8 or 9 in the morning. But there have been times if you unfortunately get caught in a line, you can wait up to an hour. At least they vacuum the inside of your vehicle. read more

In a 2017 Toyota Camry LE bought brand new at the dealer. This location is scamming people. They wanted $50+ dollars to replace the filter which I declined. This JL location was trying to up-sell me something that I really never needed. Afterwards I bought a cabin filter from the Toyota dealer for $35.00 and installed it myself. Terrible customer service at this King George Rd, Woodbridge, NJ location. I always go there and pay around $36 for the conventional oil change and I bring a coupon with me that's always accepted. Today I go and there's this young kid working the counter that could apparently care less about his job let alone the customers he's attending to. I don't go to Jiffy Lube for their prices. I go there for their services because I can find oil changes for $25-$30 anywhere around my area. Well today I go up to this kid and ask him how much a conventional oil change for a 2012 Nissan Altima is going to be. ( I always ask bc I don't like any surprises) This kid tells me, around $50! I was like "$50 for an oil change?" So I said to myself, ok, maybe the high price of oil has something to do with it. So I told him I had a coupon and wanted to make sure that coupon would be accepted before I went ahead with the oil change. He tells me, I won't know if that coupon is valid until I ring everything up at the end. I told him "No thank you, that's not gonna work". All the time this kid was acting like I was bothering him. I could tell he lacked any social skills by the way he was treating the guy before me. He walked out also because he couldn't get any answers. I wish I could've asked this guy his name. He was a young kid with blue eyes who thought he knew it all and thought he was doing us a favor by changing our oil even though there are hundreds of places I could've chosen to go to that were cheaper. Service is the best which is why I will still come here when I'm in town. I'm thinking we're counting on 15 years from the first time I walked into this place way before I started yelping. It's not often can I bring my personal vehicle but when I used to live locally this was the place to come for my routine oil changes. So every now and then when I do have my vehicle I do stop here and they still happen to keep all my details in the system. ***BEWARE*I will never do business here again. I went to get a routine oil change. I arrived and it took 2 hours to complete. They had 2 other vehicles there but mine was already in the garage with the hood open. They came to me and told me that they were going to add coolant. They told me the price and I was surprised. I normally don't pay over $60 for my vehicle. I payed over $100. The day after I turn my car on and the check engine light is on giving me a code P0128, which is for low coolant. I called and was on the phone with the manager for at least 40 mins. She stated that she couldn't help me because she was the "manager" but that she escalated it to some office and i should receive a call. it's been 2 1/2 weeks now and i'm still waiting. I checked the coolant after looking up where it was on my car. Now i have no clue how to do do anything than the windshield wiper fluid and changing a tie. The coolant is below the meter significantly, i couldn't believe it. So i'm not doing anything further than taking it in and having them fix what they did. I checked my receipt and it the coolant was "change" and I was charged for it. Let's see what happens tomorrow. This isn't the first trouble i've had with them. welp no help of course. read more

Terrible customer service! Coupon online for a specific location. Called first and asked for exact prices. Arrived and was told to sit in office. Guy comes in and I said I wanted the middle oil good for 5,000 miles. He says that's $52 with the coupon I showed him. I said I called and was told a different price. I only had a 50 dollar bill not 52. I called and asked price he said there is tax. I said I asked for exact price. I said never mind I'll go somewhere else. He said you can't. There is no oil in your car. We already drained the oil. So now I'm forced to use change in my ashtray to come up with the other $2. They didn't top off the fluids ( which I pay for as part of the service) They never turned off the orange Maintenance required light which I didn't realize until I was home and the sticker they put in the windshield was for some weird mileage. Not 3,000 miles, definitely not 5,000 miles. All to get you to spend more money. Too many other places to go where people really WANT MY BUSINESS read more

Brought my car in because my car was reading 1 Qt low after having it changed at another Jiffy Lube location. The technicians removed the undershields from my car and they were saturated with oil. The previous location failed to install a gasket on the oil plug. They installed a gasket, refilled the oil and re-installed the undershields. The next day while driving on the NJ Turnpike, one of the undershields fell and was ruined. This location is now refusing to reimburse me for the damaged undershield. I WOULD AVOID THIS LOCATION AND ALL JIFFY LUBE's. Their guarantee is garbage and they don't stand behind their shoddy work! I will be suing them shortly. read more

I needed a new battery for my car. I was in a rush, of course, because this kind of thing always seems to happen when you're in a rush. I called Jiffy Lube and was quoted a price of $110 including installation. This seemed reasonable to me, and still does. I had no problem at all with the service, the job was done very quickly and the staff was very polite and friendly. The problem came when I was called up to pay for my new battery and was told the price was $179. When I asked why it was so expensive, the cashier told me that different batteries are different prices and that the service man was putting the battery into my truck. The cashier then made a show of "taking off" 15%. When I told the cashier that I was quoted a price of $110 including installation I was told, "Oh he doesn't know what he's doing." So the final bill was around $140, which I felt better about. I'm not complaining about paying for the product and the service. I am just letting you know that it's best to be very careful at this Jiffy Lube location. Make sure you don't get a quote from the guy who "doesn't know what he's doing" because it will be meaningless when it comes time to pay. Maybe it would be a good idea if Woodbridge Jiffy Lube didn't allow the guy who "doesn't know what he's doing" answer the phone and quote prices to customers. So much better than the oil change place I used to go to which was a nightmare. Staff was friendly and worked fast. Other than one simple compliment, the guys left me alone, which I really appreciated considering my past experiences at these type of places. It is pricier than other places but they do a few extra things like vacuum and clean the front windshield and give you a voucher for a free car wash. The owner Ramel Diaz, which admitted to being the guy who worked on my car, was negligent and took a short cutby not removing all of the pins that held the cover in place. Because of his laziness he had to forcefully push the cover back which pivoted on the bottom edge of my windshield causing it to break. The owner, would not take any responsibly for the damage or even acknowledge there was the slightest possibly he could have accidentally damaged the window by the way he pushed the plastic cover back putting pressure on the weakest part of the windshield. Nor did he find it coincidental that the crack formed in the exact location where he worked. Long story short, I had to come out of pocket 203.30 to replace the window. Its not worth it for me to take this guy to small claims court because it would cost me more money in time and aggregation than its worth. Thanks for the memories Jiffy Lube.
