First time getting my dry cleaning done here and will never be coming back. I just opened my leather jacket and staring me right in the face is the stain that I had pointed out to the gentleman who was working the desk when I dropped it off. The button has a white residue that won't come off and random scuffs all over the jacket that weren't there when I dropped it off. It's worse off now than when before I got it "cleaned". Do not recommend- there's plenty of other better dry cleaners around. read more

I have been a customer of Jiffy Cleaners for over 15 years and I have used them as my personal tailor as well. A few weeks ago I tried on my best suit only to discover that my waist had done who gotten wider! It might have had something to do with my new found passion for ice cream! In any case I went to see if the tailor at Jiffy's could somehow save me from having to go buy a new suit! To my astonishment a few days later, my suit was delivered and it fit beautifully. Mr. Caulteron made some additional adjustments, making the suit fit perfectly! Over the years in addition to being a consistently great dry cleaning establishment, mr Caulderon has also insisted on cleaning and pressing the prayer shawls for our local synagogue and refusing to charge for this service. When I once asked another cleaning establishment how much they would charge for this type of job, I was told it would be in the range of $500 and yet Jiffy provides this service annually and still refuses to charge! I think it's remarkable that in this climate of where businesses try to find ways to charge their customers more for their services, Jiffy Cleaners continues to go the extra mile for their customers. read more

Nice people, nice cleaning. prices are reasonable. Parking can be rough especially rush hour with train station and construction. Mornings work best for me. 5stars overall. read more

Avoid at all cost, literally!! I was seeking an affordable option for dry cleaning two comforters, one being a down comforter. Jiffy Cleaners came up in my area. I went in and it seemed professional enough, the attendant took both comforters as well as a jacket I wanted to get cleaned since it smelled like fried food =-( The attendant said they had a special going and charged about $32 for both comforters which I thought was a steal, comparing to other places I called that were charging upwards of $50. I went in on a Thursday and the attendant said to pick them up the following Tuesday (It was Memorial Weekend). The Tuesday I went in, and another attendant came from the back, I gave him my ticket and he looked at it and said "ughhhhhh I don't have them ready...I'm guessing that's why he wanted me to do it soon as I got in Friday...but yea, I saw the comforters and thought, who would want a comforter in such a rush, when it's already warm outside?"!!! I was perplexed, I remained calm and he proceeded to say pick up the following day. Wednesday came and I went in. The original attendant dealt with me. I told him the level of customer service was lacking, he just shrugged it off. He gave me back my jacket and comforters. I got home and removed the comforters from their plastic package. OMG the scent that burst through was like selling cod fish in a dungeon, filled with mildew and rust. I can't even begin to explain the stench from both comforters. One comforter had black marks all over one end, it looked like they were drag racing over the comforter. I could not believe it. To top it off, the jacket, has a wire coming down from top to bottom where the zipper is, tell me why the wire came back protruding at the bottom, and they nicely bent the wire to mask the opening they made. My jacket came back smelling like a rag from a fish market. This service was so bad I had to discard both comforters and get new ones, they could not be saved. The worst dry cleaner ever!! read more

It is unfortunate I have the write this. I first started taking things to Jiffy years ago as I worked on Central Ave. Even after changing jobs and no longer working close by, I still went there. I'm very tall so they have tailored many pairs of pants for me. Usually they got it right. They totally messed up my son's suit for a wedding this past October (the tailor just didn't listen) but they apologized and gave a discount on my next ticket. So I stopped by today to ask them to re-alter a pair of pants which the tailor there had hemmed just a little too short. I was nice about it saying "She normally gets it right but she made these too short". Out of nowhere the owner raises his voice to me and says "She pinned them and you must have said 'ok' and now you say it's wrong!" Really surprised, I responded, "So it's my fault?" He said, "Well yes it is you said it was OK! " and so on... I couldn't believe his response and his raised, angry voice at a customer like me, who'd been there countless times and spent a lot of money there! I took my pants and left. I will take them (and pay!) elsewhere to fix the hem rather than letting a man who should know better treat his customers like that. I guess he thinks he has enough customers so he doesn't have to be polite? ....Sad but I will go somewhere where I don't get berated for nicely asking for something to be fixed. :-( read more

Poor customer service. My mother dropped off a pair of pants 2 weeks ago. When I showed up, the old man couldn't find my order and complained that he wouldn't look for it without the ticket, which is poor customer service and outdated operations. I went home picked up the ticket and returned to see that the pants had not been stitched up. The owner cursed at me. Avoid at all costs. Go to a cleaner who values your business. read more

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced from a cleaner and maybe even any establishment. More importantly they are anything but "Jiffy"; your stuff will either not even be cleaned or you will have to wait MONTHS. Absolutely disgusting and dirty setup. They threw my down feather pillow on their floor and left it there for over a week. When I went to go pick it up--thinking it would have been cleaned--I saw it still lying there. They then proceeded to yell at me in front of all the other customers and said, "Why do you even need this done so quickly?" And I responded, "Because I need to take it with me to college!" Absolutely awful! They threw the pillow at me and told me to take my business elsewhere. Complete waste of time and they made my pillow dustier and dirtier. My mother brought her winter coat in to have the zipper replaced, they decided to hold onto her coat and wait 8 weeks to do it simply because they didn't feel it was a priority. This place is guilty of false advertising. read more

I have used Jiffy cleaner for years and they never disappoint. It is especially wonderful that they pick up and deliver. There are many time that I have needed tailoring done quickly and it always gets done on time. I am glad that they are in my neighorhood. read more

I'm surprised the rating isn't higher--I think all dry cleaners are going to get some complaints. It's not a business where you can satisfy everyone. But for me, they've been very reliable for 13 years. They pick up and deliver to my house, and haven't made a mistake worth mentioning. I used to get my shirts done in the city and all the city cleaners would break my buttons. That rarely happens now. The guy even knows me by name, despite the fact that I rarely come into the store in person. read more
