At 4:21 PM, I was told she would call/text me when I could come inside, so I waited in my car. By 5:07 PM, I still hadn't been called in. At that point, it had been over an hour since the rescheduled time and more than three hours since my original appointment. I texted that I couldn't wait any longer and requested my $54 deposit back. She called me at 5:08 PM saying she had just finished and I could either come inside or receive a refund. I chose the refund because I had already waited long enough. To her credit, she was understanding and canceled the appointment through StyleSeat. I understand appointments can run behind, but this was excessive. I had already accommodated a two-hour delay, drove from Barstow, and then waited another hour after the rescheduled time. For a $180 service, I expected better scheduling and communication. I can't speak on the quality of her work because I never received the service. This review is strictly about the scheduling and overall experience. I appreciate that I was given the option of a refund, but losing several hours of my day after making the drive was very disappointing.
