This is the best chicken finger place in town. They also have really great catfish, burgers, corn nuggets and grilled chicken fingers. Oh and the Jim Bob sauce is the BEST!!The employees are always super nice! I love going there because the restaurant is decorated with pictures of Bible verses on different walls in the restuarant. To start with the big pro- the service! Absolutely the sweetest cashier/server ever. They were helpful as we have never been here and are on vacation at the new resort. Jim Bob's is nice until they mess up your order. God forbid THEY mess up YOUR order and have to fix it. My mother drove all the way home to find her Greek salad with chicken fingers on the side was not a Greek salad. She went all the way back to the drive thru and they asked her to come inside. It was raining, I'll add. She went inside, they were rude and accusatory. She felt as though she had done something wrong. They asked for the salad they gave her back (which I've never heard of before so lookout for those reused salads), but she gave it to them. She asked if she could get 3 fresh tenders with her salad. THEY ASKED FOR THE TENDERS BACK. She said she didn't see them in the bag. They said "If you don't have them to return, you'll have to pay for three new ones." So she went out to her car. In the rain. They weren't in the car so she was forced to pay even more for an order they screwed up. Once I called, shiftleader Valerie claimed she hadn't seen it and would not have let that happen otherwise. Two minutes later she changed her entire story to say "oh well we thought she just wanted to buy 3 extra." My mother told me HOW EXPLICIT she was when she asked for fresh tenders. She was very clear. How fast they changed their entire story and started lying to try to stop a bad review is insane. Especially for a "Christian" establishment. Won't be eating here again. Too fake and I don't appreciate being lied to or led to believe my mother was lying when she told me how clear she had been. I just wanted some damn chicken. read more

I had had not so great experiences with this restaurant before but it was tolerable. Sadly today, I ordered the an item from the drive through menu, chicken fingers. The person taking my order could not understand my order although I took off my mask (as I know it is often hard to understand through them). I spoke slowly and clearly, still took 3 tries. When I got to the window, she didn't know which order was mine. They were having problems keeping up with what order of the food was. I repeated my chicken fingers order. She asked about 3 or 4 other things that were apparently there. Finally, she said the combo? I just said ok because I have limited time on my lunch break and I wasn't getting any closer to getting what I actually ordered. Only difference was I got room temperature cheese sticks along with my chicken fingers. Sadly those cheese sticks were not good, felt like a piece of string cheese wrapped in batter that had been cooked hours ago and not kept warm. The cocktail sauce for the cheese sticks was terrible. The sauce for the chicken fingers was good and so were the cheese sticks. The sweet slaw was ok. The french fries were okay. The texas toast was black on one side and completely white (untoasted) on the other side. I don't plan to give them another try. This is too many times that the food was not good. Good special offers, every day. Friendly staff. Food portions are hot, tasty, and proper size. Tucked away on a side street that makes it a good place if you want to avoid the crowds. If was on the main roads they would probably be packed! read more

My first time dining at Jim Bob's was great. My wife and I went in just after the lunch crowd and the food was great. My son ordered the 24 pc wing expecting smaller proportions only to be surprised. He was not able to finish ( a teenager tapping out on wings; go figure ) his plate. We will be returning and adding to our list of faves. read more

Clean, fast and delicious! I had the fingers and wings combo-the fingers were fresh and had a great sauce to dip in, the wings were crispy and yummy. My husband had the Bob burger and said it was awesome. Fed my family for under $20. The food came quickly, the cashier was polite, and the restrooms were very clean! read more

Good experience here. Not over the top great, but solid. Nice people, seemed very clean , prices are reasonable. Food was all good for most part, most memorable were the fingers. Wings were cooked well but sauce flavor was just ok and a little greasy. Toast and fries were good. All reminded us of z ax. All needs to be a little spiced up. Grilled chicken a little bland. Please check your food before you leave, I had to come back from pine mountain for fries they FORGOT to put with my order. I ordered 12 piece wings., recieved only 11! The food costs too much for them to cheat you on your food. Will not be back. read more

The service and ambience is great. I frequent this place often for it. My only complaint I find is that this place is too overpriced for what your getting. 3 tenders, fries, and toast with a drink for over $10 is not worth it in my opinion. I guess you pay for the service when you come here. read more
