I took my car the end of February to have the transmission looked at for the 3rd time. 3 days after the initial appointment I had to call to get an update and was told that it would need a part replaced. The next week the part was replaced and the car still did the same thing so a new transmission was needed. 3 weeks went by with no information. I finally was given a rental vehicle after speaking to the manager multiple times. Between people quitting and never working she was the only person I could ever speak to. I was told the transmission had been ordered, but in reality it hadn't. On the 4th week it was ordered. By week 5 it had arrived and so did a gnarly storm that left my car with $8,000 worth of hail damage. When I called the service department to ask about the damage I was told by the manager that no ne needed to call and let me know and that "they couldn't help acts of God." I was also told that my car would be finished by the end of the week. On Friday I called and the lady said they were working on it and it would be ready that night. I called Saturday morning and my car still waant finished. On Monday, I called yet again and was told they were working on it and was not told nicely thay they would call me when it was finished. That night it was finished about 25 minutes before close. The whole 6 werks my vehicle was there I had to call and continually ask about it. There was not good communication nor service. When I arrived to get the car it was so dirty I couldnt even see out the wondows. I never received any paperwork about the new transmission or any of the work that was done on it.​ read more

This dealership is a showcase of ineptitude. Sis in law found a Certified Pre-Owned car advertised via several of the online sites. She called and confirmed several times its CPO status. When she went to get the car, no one at the dealership seemed to comprehend the idea of a CPO, and they finally admitted that they "don't do CPOs." Since she had screenshots and evidence that they had indeed advertised this car as a CPO (they had conveniently removed all traces of their ad online after she made a deposit, but she had saved the cached URLs), and after much hemming and hawing and deflecting, they finally acknowledged the CPO and performed the multi-point inspection and other items required for CPO. It was only through her thorough prep that she didn't accidentally walk out with a car she thought was a CPO, only to learn weeks or months or years later that it wasn't. The dealership will claim that they corrected their errors. The errors should never have occurred in the first place - it's basic sales 101. With so many other options in the area, this dealership is not recommended. read more

I needed a headlight bulb replaced on my wives 2010 Kia Soul, front passenger side. This action should have taken no more than 10 minutes to complete. I would have done it myself except there is a small unusual bracket to move and replace when changing the bulb - so I thought I would leave it to the "experts". I attempted 3 times to contact the Service Department at Kia of Clarksville and could not get anyone to pick up the phone. I also sent an Email and received an automatic reply indicating they would contact me for a service appointment - they did not. This information was provided to the service representative when I checked in. I had to physically go to the service department and schedule an appointment to bring back the vehicle to get the bulb replaced - which I did. That appointment was for 3:00 pm on 12 October 2021. I arrived a little early, 2:55 pm to check in. I checked in at the service counter and went to the customer waiting area. I left Kia of Clarksville at 4: 47 (this can be verified by the payment slip). This means it took Kia of Clarksville Service nearly 2 hours to replace a bulb in a Kia Soul - even when you receive an appointment. I also noticed on the work order that the service department provided that it indicated I arrived later than I did (15:08) and that I left earlier than I did (16:00). So did they keep me waiting in the customer area for an additional 47 minutes before telling me the work was complete? So the upfront service to make the appointment was poor. No one answering the phone or returning Emails. The time necessary to do this simple job was poor. It was a simple job. Even out the door service to pay was poor - it appears they made me wait even after the work was completed - if you go by the service order. read more

We went to purchase a 2024 Kia forte. Sat down to do the deal and the price online and the price in store were different. Asked to see in writing that you cannot combine low APR offers with customer cash and was told no by the sales manager and the he didn't have to show us or honor the online pricing. I have posted in the past that they: Tried to change the interest rate AFTER they accepted my check for a down payment and put it in their safe; stated a security feature was part of the vehicle which after purchase was not there; and now, they are refusing to turn in a mileage claim which was submitted as part of the fuel reimbursement for overstated MPG. The first two items were rectified after involvement from the store owner - but they should have never happened. Now, we have tried twice with two different people at the Kia store to submit the claim, and they won't get back to us. read more

He was very understanding about my concerns from my previous experience, he wasn't pushy and didn't try to force me into a car I didn't want to be in. Another person said to be prepared to wait for service, but that has not been my experience. Whenever I make an appointment they give me a good estimate as to how long it will take and usually come in under that. When I have popped in to have my nitrogen tires topped off, I was in and out in under 15 minutes. If you are car shopping- I have to say, I love, love my Kia Soul. They jacked the price up $8,000 when we asked for their 0% apr. The internet price on the Kia Sorento year end special was $27,515. The sticker said 31,515. They doubled up the 4000.00 rebate taken off if we financed with interest rate. We were tired after sitting there for 4 hours, and couldn't access the website to find out about the sale price. We paid 35,515 and the finance manager is a smooth talker and he lied about interest deals with Wells Fargo if you buy the extended warranty. It's what they could have given you anyway. If you go in there, go loaded for bear and play extreme hardball. Question everything and ask to see everything including the rates and amounts financed. They are not transparent enough. My daughter bought a used vehicle from this store and when we bought it it has 15,000 miles on it. We left a deposit and made arrangements to pick it up several days later. When my daughter went to take delivery, it had been driven 500 miles more and was absolutely trashed. It was dirty, there were grease stains on the ceiling and the leather was dirty. After it was cleaned she noticed that there was paint damage that they agreed to have repaired when she left the deposit that had not been fixed. They still have not fixed the paint. They also owed her a second key. She called several times from her home in Nashville to remind them to send it to her and they never did. She had to drive to the store to get this key. Management and policies and procedures need to be reviewed at this store by kia. While she likes her Cadenza we will never do business there again. There are so many other used and new car companies in the area that are more interested in customer satisfaction than JUST selling you a car. read more

I bought a 2013 ford Taurus SHO with 96K miles on it. I was thrilled with the car when I got it, although they would not give me any info from previous owner which I understood because I had too sold cars. I drove the car for 5 days when I discovered the obnoxious rattle in the engine bay and white smoke coming from the exhaust at cold start. I contacted my salesmen to tell him of my concern (these cars are known for timing chains and water pumps) when he mentioned I had a 30 day 1000 mile warranty (power train- engine transmission, and drive axels). I called the service department to ask if I were to get my car looked at by a certified Ford dealership if they would take the diagnoses and run with it, they agreed because they were aware that the Taurus SHOs were a specialty car. my car was diagnosed with a failed timing chain and weakened water pump. I had a diagnoses typed and signed by certified dealership (Jack Kain Ford in Versailles, KY ) and then got my vehicle towed back to Clarksville. Clarksville Kia was aware that with the SHO it would require specialty work. I got a call 2 days later stating that they would be sending this SHO to the local ford dealership to be diagnosed and fixed (IT WAS ALREADY DIAGNOSED). This was the last call I received, every other call was initiated by me. The Ford dealership had my vehicle for over 3 weeks, I eventually called Kia to request the location of my car, I then called Jim O'neal Ford only to be told they had yet to pull my vehicle into the shop. I continued to call Kia and ask to speak to Jeff in servicing (he's a service supervisor) Jeff then told me to stop contacting Jim O'neal because I was "muddying up the waters" and that I needed to speak with him directly. (Jeff failed to tell ford of the white smoke). After 4 weeks of my car being bounced around between Ford and Kia I finally got the call that it was being transferred to another Ford dealership (THANK GOD). The name of the other Ford dealership was not disclosed to me for fear that I would "muddy the waters". All while this is happening the dealership and or warranty company would not provide me a rental car for my daily commute. Kia is now trying to state this problem is not present and I should come retrieve my vehicle with no repairs. Kia will not buy back my vehicle and have offered to trade but will not give me what the vehicle is worth. I have dealt with Jeff Gipe in Servicing (unfortunately) and now with Pat Bates the GM both very UNwilling to help or make this situation any more bearable. I have worked on cars and have sold cars, if I were have done this to a customer I would have been reported to the better business bureau. STAY AWAY FROM KIA OF CLARKSVILLE! read more

When my temp tag expired I stopped driving the vehicle because the vehicle is no longer legal to have on the road at that point. I was instructed by the dealership to keep driving the vehicle, that it was okay and if I got a ticket they would probably pay it. When I spoke to Alex "a manager" his attitude told me that they sell lots of cars every month so my issues are clearly insignificant. I went into this Kia delaership in Clarksville, Ind. inquiring about their trade-ins - that they try to sell on their lot before they give them to an auction (weekly). A sales agent, Micah, told me about a '99 Grand Prix he could sell me for $1995 ($2600 after taxes and dealer fees). He drove the car from the back area of the lot to where I was -- to test drive -- and when I got in there, I discovered it had trash all over the seats and floor and the inside was filthy. I wouldn't even test drive it. He said "What do you expect for a cheap car" and said that in a harassing and disrespectful way about 3 times. I can't believe they'd be so low life to bring a car to someone to test drive with trash on the floors and on the seat and really think someone is going to buy it that way. If that's not low-life and poor customer service, I don't know what is. I wiill never return there. I do think for a car they're trying to sell for $1995, they should at least pick the trash out of the inside of car before they try to sell it. And they charge a $199 dealer fee on all cars that they sell -- which is even more reason to do so. I also don't have a very high opinion of some of their used car managers. One manager lied to me when I asked how long they keep the cheaper trade-in cars before they go to auction and he told me until they sell -- but two different sales agents told me they go to auction weekly. It seems to me they'd rather let a trade-in go to auction and get very little for it than to bring the asking price down a couple hundred dollars for a customer -- before it goes to auction -- and get more money from it -- but I guess that'd be nice and showing good business sense, so they don't. I don't think much of this dealership. I think there's a snobbishness on the part of some people -- although there are some nice sales agents -- but Micah is not one of them. They do sell their trade-ins on the lot --- but some of the sales agents or managers don't show a good conscience or good customer service when doing so. . I Bought a 2015, cadenza in April, 2016. It had 15000 miles on it because one of the dealership managers or employees had been driving it until it was sold. After having gone through the motions of a potential contract, I put down a $2000 down payment a week in advance. There were a couple of things the salesman and I had agreed upon that would be "taken care of" since I had to drive back to nashville, tn to get back to work for a week. This included detailing the inside of the vehicle and buffing out a couple of scratches on the exterior. I arrived at the dealership the day I promised. After signing the paperwork and receiving the key, I got back into the vehicle to find it filthy. NOTHING was cleaned or wiped out. There were even grease stains from a technician on the ceiling. And although I cannot prove it, I'm almost certain someone had been driving it throughout the week I had been back in nashville. The scratches had not been taken care of. In fact, the car was dirtier than when I first drove it. And after being promised an extra key, it took driving up to the dealership 2 months later from nashville to have it programmed and handed to me, after they promised it'd be taken care of and mailed. Now, I work in the automotive field. I know mistakes can be made and that mishaps happen. People are human. But I felt like, in this circumstance, the agreements made beforehand were absolutely disregarded. While I'm happy with the vehicle, they could have done much better in fulfilling the agreement made a WEEK (at the very least) prior to even picking the vehicle up. read more

car towed to kia lot. after diagnostic test for 99.00 they found it to be the starter. they replaced it, barely got home after picking up my "repaired" car. after run around from them on fri. to mon. explained a grinding noise and car dying out did anyone bother to check the fly wheel? no real answer, just said when his driver pulled the car out of the shop he would have heard something wrong and that there is probably something else wrong and they would be glad to look @ it again, 550.00 dollars later im sure they would. afraid to drive car please tow it back to shop recheck starter and flywheel nope they are sure they have an excellent service tech and he drove it out of the bay parked it so that 50-75 feet drive sealed the deal for them nothing to do w/bad starter flywheel had to be something else wrong w/my car. yet they ran a diagnostics on it nothing else came up then but the starter. nice job kia quite impressive slogan, customer wrong no make right money taken so take a hike! read more
