My car was brought in back in December to service for a sound in the windshield area. After they couldn't find the sound, my car was returned to me and for the last 6 months I've been hearing a different rattling sound in the front grille/engine area of the car. Finally I was able to see the issue- one of the mechanics left a whole wrench/tool wedged in the front of my car grille that finally came loose and was visible. Beyond unprofessional and so unsafe knowing this may have caused more damage to my car or another if it fell out. Never going back to the Clarksville location for service and neither should you.

We had a great experience with everyone we worked with - Gavin Fournet in sales, Abdul Tabibi in management, and Jonathan Jim in finance. They were all friendly, patient, and helpful. Got a great price on a new car. We appreciated the time they spent with us and their attention to detail especially on a busy Labor Day weekend.

This review is for the Service Department at Jim Coleman Honda. Brought my vehicle into Jim Coleman in November 2024 for an oil change. I had a coupon advertising a discounted rate for this service. They suggested additional work had to be done on the vehicle but I declined. In the past 20 years that I have used this dealership for various recalls, oil changes, etc., they always try to tack on extra work. When I take it to another trusted mechanic, they find that the additional work is not warranted or needed. Just today, I brought the same vehicle to a trusted mechanic not affiliated with Jim Coleman. He checked the oil and discovered the oil was very old and dirty. I had the oil changed again and they discovered the oil filter was old and filthy. Since the visit with Jim Coleman, the car was only driven a little over 200 miles. It is not possible that the oil or filter would be in this condition unless JIM COLEMAN NEVER CHANGED THE OIL back in November and that was the only service they were supposed to do on the car so it couldn't be overlooked. I strongly encourage anyone who takes their vehicles to this establishment for service to double check the work or not take your vehicles at all. This was only an oil change that they charged me for but did not complete. If it was a more serious mechanical issue that they claimed to fix but didn't, it could have been a serious safety issue.

There is a reason they have such bad reviews. I was in the market for a Civic Type R, which is inherently a sought after car. With the current market, markups are omnipresent but they wanted 25k over sticker. LOL. Of course they didn't sell it, so they reached back out to me a month later with this email. A "generous" 15k discount off their markup but you have to pay $595 for wheel locks. Are they made of gold? Seriously, these guys are basically crooks.

Came to this dealership for a used odyssey and after falling in love with it they told me it had an airbag issue. Then they turned me toward a brand new top of the line van just like it, they assured me leasing it would be cheaper than financing an older van. By the time we looked at the new van it was dark and we missing a chip in the door and scrach across the trim. We took it back next day and they offered a new van but that includes all new papers to deal with so we opted to have the paint repaired. We took the van in for these repairs and to have roof racks added (free from the dealer) when we picked the van up it was scuffed and scrached on nearly every panel. Worst is the area where they installed the new trim, chipped it down to bare metal! We have been to the dealership 3x over 250 miles driven and a full tank of gas just dealing with this. They have yet to communicate in a timely manner. I will not be taking my van here for maintenance. I will not be recommending them as a whole.

My mom and I went to Jim Coleman Honda this past Saturday and we both bought 2022 Honda Civic hatchback sedan sport touring vehicles. Sam Chads was absolutely terrific but not only Sam was great, Terry was amazing. She explained all the additional options available to purchase. Kevin Cohen, the managing partner is PHENOMENAL and would always recommend. I can not say more , they are the absolute best dealership to go to and if you want to be treated like family.... go to JIM COLEMAN HONDA .

River Hill Sunoco got my car running better than it has in over a year, and I finally feel safe on the road again. They treated me with respect and patiently listened to the list of issues I was experiencing. They quickly diagnosed the issue, fully explained it to me, and completed the repair within a couple of hours. I can't say enough about how great my experience was!

In spite of the pecuniary wealth of Clarksville, the area is generally destitute when it comes to…read moreautomotive knowledge. The River Hill Sunoco preys on this ignorance. Late one night, my girlfriend got a flat tire. As I have done dozens, if not hundreds, of times in my life, I removed the old wheel/tire and put on the spare using nothing more than a scissors jack and lug wrench. As I replaced the lug nuts, I threaded them and tightened by hand before using the lug wrench for one last fastening. As it turned out, there was a hole in the sidewall of the old tire, so Sunoco ordered a new tire that was expected to arrive in a few days. In order for us to commute to Baltimore on the spare, "John" the technician tightened up the lug nuts. "John" did so with an air impact wrench (also known as an air hammer, pneumatic impact wrench, etc). A few days later, we took the car back for Sunoco to install the new tire. This time, the Sunoco technician had difficulty removing one of the lug nuts, and one of the studs snapped. After replacing the tire, Sunoco capped the broken stud and offered to replace it at a cost of approximately $100. Through an apparent miscommunication, Sunoco never ordered the new stud, so we took the car elsewhere for repair. At the other garage, my mechanic had to use a breaker bar to remove two of the lug nuts because Sunoco had over-tightened them (see attached photo showing metal shavings from the other over-tightened lug nuts next to the broken stud). Due to the numerous damaged studs, we replaced the entire wheel hub assembly. Naturally, this cost more and caused major inconvenience as the car could not be driven for several days. An objective analysis of the facts leads inescapably to the conclusion that Sunoco over-tightened the lug nuts, causing the catastrophic failure (breaking) of one stud and the effective destruction of two others. When the first stud snapped, Sunoco did not mention any issue with any of the other lugs or studs. The vehicle was entirely within the control of Sunoco, and it was Sunoco that once again tightened the lugs after they replaced the tire. The thing speaks for itself: only Sunoco could have caused the damage to the second and third studs, and the circumstances strongly suggest Sunoco's fault for the first. Through its manager, Adam, Sunoco has enumerated several excuses to absolve itself. First, Sunoco alleged that I "cross-threaded" the lug nuts when I put on the spare. I reiterate that I hand-tightened the lug nuts, and this excuse does not account for the destruction of the second and third studs, which happened after Sunoco replaced the tire. When confronted with the issue of the additional lug nuts' destruction, Sunoco then blamed me for not making the lug nuts tight enough after the tire change and alleged the wheel was "like a loose tooth" when it arrived at Sunoco (which, of course, undercuts its "cross-threaded" theory). Admittedly, I did not have a torque wrench, but to think the lug nuts had come loose on the short drive to Sunoco strains credulity. If it were true, why then did Sunoco not note damage to the other studs at that point? Oddly, Adam denied knowledge of any technician named "John" employed at Sunoco, though he admitted a technician with a similar sounding name does work there (other social media posts about the River Hill Sunoco, e.g. Anglie's List, mention an employee named "John."). Just so there is no confusion, "John" is the technician who has family in the south of France, though I'm sure Adam knew exactly who I was referencing.

This time around an 18 wheeler decided to back into my car on Russell Street and so the damage to the front hood and bumper was significant. They have an agreement with USAA members so that customers who have USAA do not need an appointment, the flexibility of which is nice. Also, Enterprise Rent a Car is down the street which is convenient. I was taken to get my rental by an Auto center employee, and returned to get my car by Enterprise. Overall the shop clerk said it would take 9 business days but my car was ready much sooner. I got updates via text which was helpful, and I am driving my car again thank goodness. Clarksville Auto is very good about giving you a quick and accurate estimate minutes after you walk in whether it's by insurance or out of pocket payment. They always do a very good job as well, once I get my car back its close to impossible to know how knocked up it had gotten. On the down side sometimes it can take awhile to get my car back because they are often very busy and occasionally can't take my car immediately. My dad has brought his cars to this location before Hillmuth bought it from Ramos. He continues to take his car to Hillmuth because of their consistency, honesty, and efficiency. I moved to California and the last time I had my car serviced here was in 2009. Flash forward to 2014 when I moved home. My husband would do my oil changes and add air to my tires and he even attempted to change my brake pads. He's been busy at work and I thought I will just take my car down the street (see review about Brentwood Automotive). I decided to take my car back to the county (we currently live in Baltimore city) and was so happy I did. Mike and Terry both were so helpful, patient, and answered all questions I had. They didn't sound annoyed when I had no clue about my car and had to call and ask my husband. Sorry, I am old school I don't know much about cars nor do I want to so I appreciate straight shooters and not being taken advantage of by mechanics who just see an easy opportunity to upsell and charge me for things my car doesn't need. After the fiasco I experienced elsewhere I wanted to make sure my car was 'ok' and also was concerned about a nagging tire pressure light that kept blinking. They diagnosed the issue and we decided not to replace the sensor at this time. My husband took his car there and had some maintenance to catch up on. They always call and let you know exactly what needs to be done, what should be done, and you decide whether or not to proceed. They were open with us and we decided to go with about $ 1500 worth of work all of which seemed necessary and vital to extending the life of his vehicle. They also sent a technician to pick me up from my parents house when was car was ready. Such a nice service and a great staff. I brought my 2022 Honda Insight in for a fuel injector issue and the team handled the actual repair perfectly. The car is running smoothly again and the turnaround time was reasonable. If you are looking for quality mechanical work they clearly know what they are doing. However I am frustrated by the lack of guidance regarding warranty coverage. This car is still well within its 5 year or 60000 mile powertrain warranty and fuel injectors are typically covered under that or the emissions warranty. Since this was a major repair cost I wish the shop had recognized the warranty status and advised me to visit a dealership before proceeding with the out of pocket expense. I appreciate the good repair work but I would have valued a bit more professional transparency regarding my manufacturer coverage options. If you go here just make sure you have checked your own warranty status first.

I want to begin by acknowledging that Luis, the sales representative who initially assisted us, was excellent--professional, knowledgeable, and respectful throughout our interaction. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated once Josh Oh became involved. What began as a normal negotiation quickly escalated when his demeanor changed. He became arrogant, dismissive, and demeaning after we clearly communicated our expectations and referenced a recent purchase experience elsewhere. While I understand that negotiations do not always result in an agreement, there is no excuse for disrespectful behavior. Josh raised his voice and rudely told me to go buy a vehicle elsewhere, effectively forcing us out of the dealership. This occurred in front of my mother and young daughter, who witnessed the entire exchange. As we were leaving, I asked for my keys and was met with further hostility, including being shouted at and treated as though I were a threat, despite never acting aggressively. Several employees stood up and approached from behind, which was both unsettling and unnecessary. Following the incident, the General Manager, Ray, stated that he conducted an investigation. However, it became clear that multiple employees aligned their accounts in a way that misrepresented the situation and portrayed me as the aggressor. This not only diminished the very real and disturbing experience my family and I endured, but also shifted blame away from the unprofessional conduct that took place. Rather than acknowledging the behavior, the employees involved positioned themselves as the victims, which felt like gaslighting and a complete dismissal of our experience. I have over 20 years of experience in customer service management, and this type of conduct--both during the interaction and in how it was later handled--would never be tolerated on any team I've led.
