Jim 'N Nick's was delicious today! We ordered turkey plates, and they were both out within maybe five minutes. I would give 5 stars, but we asked for more muffins/bread (and it never came). Then after we were given our ticket, we asked again. She brought us two muffins to go. lol There May be some limit we didn't know about though? Like no more than 6 muffins per table. Traveling through on way to KY. I wanted pulled pork so we stopped here. Mistake on our part! Pork was just so-so. Cheese "biscuit" was a sweet muffin. Deviled eggs were still frozen and watered the plate. Husband's Mac and cheese was chilled and rather flavorless. His baked beans were the only reasonably good thing we got! Growing up Southern makes me very picky about Bar-B-Q. Loved the bun, the meat was smoked just right (pulled pork) without to much fat and grissel. I was pleased to get an option for a side that wasn't mayo base or deep fried - that would be the fruit and it was just right. Overall a good experience. Looking forward to trying something else next time. No crazy about the hot rib sauce and not a fan of vinegar based sauces so maybe next time, i'll get the chicken. read more

Normally really we have a really good experience, but tonight everyone was put off by having to wait on us. From the time we walked in to our waitress people were rude. Our waitress literally went out of her way to ignore us. It was extremely obvious. She would go to ever table around us ask how they were doing, make eye contact with us and walk away. We had to ask for items multiple times. Food was still good, but not worth the rude wait. read more

A great place to eat BBQ. The Half chicken dinner is juicy and hot. The Mac and cheese is delicious and hot. Their cheese biscuits are yummy. The staff is quick and friendly and they ask if we are satisfied with the meal, which demonstrates that they care about their restaurant and they want you to come back. No problem there. read more

we went and ate here for my friends birthday dinner. our server was super friendly and nice, but our food was cold. one of my friends and I ordered the BBQ Nachos and mine seemed to be prepared Okayish but his was disgusting. maybe 6 chips with a ball of pulled pork and a little TINY bit of shredded cheese. when the manger asked how the food was we mentioned our food being cold and my friends plate being prepared poorly. she was SUPER rude and unprofessional. she said "oh so you don't like the food because it's not pretty? if you don't like the food eat at home." we were so shocked that we just quickly left and i can say for sure we will never be back!! read more

Our waitress was slow coming around but to her defense she was working a lot of tables while others were just standing around talking. This review is not based on a one-time experience; rather it's based off of multiple experiences at this establishment to allow opportunity to prove themselves to me as a viable option for dining out.(& even take out) I frequently dine out and very high-end restaurants all over the US.(not that I'm expecting high-end dinning at a Jim and nicks in freaking Cullman) it's just funny at how bad this location, it's staff, wait staff and especially the poor quality of the meats they offer as upper-end BBQ.(&the preparation) It's a poor reflection on Jim-Nicks.
